Boy was horrified with his new appearance. Previous evening he had met this handsome man and went to his apartment for the night. When he woke up in the morning something had gone terribly wrong.
The man had made sure that his whole body was covered in rubber and he couldn’t escape with his arms pushed and locked inside a black long waders. No matter how much he struggled, he couldn’t release himself from the thick rubber prison and leather muzzle covering his face blocked him from shouting help.
“This will be your new life from now on. You will call me master and obey my every command. You can choose if you want this to go the easy way or if you prefer to resist and face the consequences. Your body will be covered in rubber indefinitely and your purpose is to serve and be your master’s property.
I will guide you gently through your conversion into something very special. I’m certain that in time you won’t be missing your past life and you’ll find the restrictions liberating. But now I need to go to work, so let’s take you to your cage where you’ll spend your time when you are not needed.”

The more rubber and waders you wear, the shinier you will be. Fact.

I had another thought about Stone Ocean’s fashion designs, and how so many characters wear the infamous boot-pants
Tumblr media
And that is just the main cast, you get many more among the other characters
Tumblr media
My first shit theories were that Araki had banned feetpics, or that he had given them waders to adapt to Florida swampwater and seawater.
But I was reminded of one point of Japan’s culture, on how important it was for most households to remove one’s shoes when entering the place. It is a matter of hygiene and respect.
So is this Araki going “My characters are Americans/living as Americans and so they are rude and nasty as fuck”?
Is this Araki deciding that, if ever they would want to remove their shoes to be nice, they would have to walk around the house with no pants and their whole ass (and in some case, tits too) spilling out? Is this America to Araki?
Below is a reconstitution of part 6 Jotaro removing his snakeskin bootpants in order to visit his mommy because he doesn’t want to be rude to her home

BOTD: Agami Heron
Tumblr media
Photo: Allan Hopkins
"The colorful, reclusive Agami Heron is a coveted sighting for birders visiting flooded lowland forests and slow-moving waterways of Central and South America. This long-billed, medium-sized heron is so distinctive that it occupies its own genus, Agamia. Its species name, 'Agami,' comes from a Cayenne Indian word for a forest bird."

Waders. Leather gloves. And a big ol' whiff off the work boot. You know, the essential things in life.

Spotted Thick-Knee (Burhinus capensis)
Family: Stone-Curlew Family (Burhinidae)
IUCN Conservation Status: Least Concern
Found mainly in dry grasslands and open woodlands across much of sub-Saharan Africa (although it is not uncommon for them to wander into more urban areas) the Spotted Thick-Knee is a relative of gulls, plovers, puffins and other seabirds that has adapted to terrestrial inland life, with the long legs of its wading ancestors allowing it to run at considerable speeds in pursuit of insects, small lizards and other land-dwelling prey while its speckled brown back and wings allows it to camouflage against dry vegetation to avoid detection by predators (mainly large birds-of-prey.) Most active at night, Spotted Thick-Knees spend much of the day resting with their bodies flattened against suitable vegetation to make them inconspicuous, and emerge at dusk to hunt and search for mates. The eggs of Spotted Thick-Knees, which are usually laid in pairs in twig-lined nests built under bushes or among tall vegetation, have similar markings on their shells to the feathers of adult birds to help them blend in, and both parents work together to feed and protect their chicks; if the nest is approached by a larger animal a parent will cover the eggs or chicks with their wings and fiercely peck at the potential intruder should they come closer, and in extreme situations adults have been observed pretending to be injured a short distance away from the nest in order to draw predators to them and away from their chicks.
