Rome didn't fall in a day, either. This will be a long process. Stay engaged, stay active. Palestine WILL be free.

Extremely tickled by the circumstance of being hired to write for a local paper.
For years I've hated American journalism. Like... I hate what reporting has become. Hate it so much I won't even read news unless it's the Associated Press.
Now it's my first paying writing gig. They actually reached out to hire me. Life is hilarious.

btw! I was made aware that many people don't know that we're boycotting Eurovision this year, so.
we are boycotting Eurovision, as per BDS guidelines.
don't watch the stream, don't engage with the videos, don't post it about it on social media using hashtags that are going to trend. whatever you're getting from the show isn't worth it

I think this person on reddit summed up the youtube adblocker situation perfectly. my reaction to this is not "oh man guess I'll watch ads." its, "well, I guess I'll just do something more productive with my time." I highly doubt any adblock user is going to willingly go back to watching ads. so what actually happens is youtube loses a functionally tiny amount of its userbase--because adblockers weren't even losing them a significant amount of money in the first place(!)--and a bunch of adblock users move on to something else. what a fantastic waste of time and effort

So while rewatching Avatar: The Last Airbender recently, I noticed a trend
A number of spirits we see have an animal form, specifically animals we recognize as "normal" for us. For example:
- Wan Shi Tong is an owl and his knowledge seekers are foxes
- Tui and La are koi fish
- Hei Bai is a panda
-The guardian of the mother of faces is a wolf (The Search)
Heck there's even the talking Baboon spirit and the monkey missing its face that we see in the Spirit World at the end of Season 1.
Basically every time we've seen a "normal" animal, they've been a spirit.
My point? I argue that Bosco is a spirit bear that's chilling and living the good life in the mortal world just because he can.
