Anansi is stepping into the Dakotaverse in a special comic book one-shot with Static. Static Team-Up: Anansi #1 hails from writer Evan Narcisse and artist Charles Stewart III.
Taking place between Static: Season One and Static: Shadows of Dakota, Static Team-Up: Anansi #1 follows Anansi as he “pays a visit to Dakota to investigate a supernatural disturbance. Anansi soon finds out that he’s going to need Static’s help in exploring the occult side of the Milestone Universe!” (DC Comics)
Static Team-Up: Anansi #1, featuring a main cover by Nikolas Draper-Ivey, an open to buy variant cover by Natacha Bustos, and a 1:25 ratio variant cover by Edwin Galmon, goes on sale on June 6, 2023.
Additionally, writer Vita Ayala and artist Nikolas Draper-Ivey’s Static: Shadows of Dakota has been extended to seven issues, with #5 going on sale on July 4, 2023.
