i started a penny save today but i cannot for the life of me motivate myself to actually start it bc i HATE the first spring and i know i don’t want to work on clearing my farm and have little inventory space and rebuilding the community center but also i want to speed-run dating penny

Aw thank you so much, you're so sweet @sheepiling! I'm so sorry it took me so long to get to this! I'm terrible at jumping between saves so I wasn't sure which sim to pick, but as I've started playing the Stardew Valley challenge for fun, I'll post some facts about my farmer, Poppy Mills.

Poppy's pronouns are She/Her and she is Bisexual.

Her traits are: Animal Enthusiast, Loves the Outdoors and Green Fiend. Her Aspiration is Country Caretaker. She currently has two chickens (Cricket and Golf), and a cow named Butters. She also immediately rolled a wish to adopt a dog, so I'm hoping to befriend a stray to adopt soon! She likes Fishing, Fitness, Gardening, French Country Decor, and Farmhouse Decor.

I used one of my other sims, Jewel Mills, as a base because I wanted to hop into playing the challenge as soon as possible, so I've decided they're cousins.

I normally play with occults, but whenever I try to play with "normal" human sims, occults always intrude (it's usually alien abduction pregnancies tbh). This time was no exception. Vlad broke in and drained poor Poppy's plasma because she can't buy garlic seeds yet, and then Grim Reaper phoned to set her up on a blind date with Rory Oaklow, who is now her Fated Mate (I have a mod that allows werewolves to be Fated Mates with anyone, not just other wolves). I'm greatly amused by the idea of Rory rejecting the Moonwood Collective only to wind up married to a farmer so I'm making Rory a bachelor for the challenge (also, I love Rory, she's such a badass). Her primary skill (for the purposes of the challenge) is fitness, her secondary is knitting, and I guess Poppy has to beat her in a sparring fight to marry her?? IDK haven't figured that out yet.

Also, Poppy is an anime protagonist-esque magnet for supernatural sh*t when all she wants to do is live a wholesome farm life.

I haven't been playing Poppy for very long, but I think she's super cute and I love her and her story so much!

Literally just spitting out my ideas so far lol

Rorine is a new farmer(kind of), a marine biologist moved onto the river farm following the advice of her older brother Elliot. Shy, soft-spoken until she’s gotten comfortable around everyone within earshot(few months or more), slight stutter, high anxiety, severe depression, hypersensitivity, slightly autistic... Bucket list goes on, but it worries her more, makes her feel like a walking list of disorders. Made friends with Sebastian years before via online platforms, totally involved in video-chatting Solarion Chronicles. Moved to Stardew Valley not knowing Sebastian lived there, really couldn’t afford it but a friend had been given the property and wanted to see it go to use. Rori isn’t the best farmer, more of an insanely lucky sort of green thumb. Becomes close with Willy quickly for his help in her studies and experiments, as well as Leah due to Elliot being so fond of her. Gradually warms up to Seb’s family due to his opinions and stories, learns to see how things appear skewed when living in the situation. Takes to Abby and Sam slowly, Sam has so much energy and she almost can’t deal, but Abby takes her to explore places and likely leads Rori to her interest in the mines with the subterranean lakes. Rori is an open book; if you ask her something about her past she’ll tell you and make it crystal clear about her trauma. At the same time she’s very shy and bad about the “only speak when spoken to” mindset. Sebastian helps give her a voice more often than not, when Elliot isn’t there to do it.

We've got Tundra the white tiger and Rory the rooster! I'm love them

Now I made warrior ocs out of them hehe, I used to do this a lot. Tundra is a farm cat! The farmer has a greenhouse and let's Tundra stick around, think Stardew Valley! Also think Rory as the rooster that wakes the farmer. Tundra and Rory learned to respect each other on their shared grounds and as skilled fighters, they eventually become close and share daily routines together. Now imagine a clan that lives on a cold beach, fish for their food and collect seashells as decoration. Tundra ventures out to meet these cats and find their life intriguing, the clan invites Tundra to join but she hesitates as she doesn't want to leave Rory behind. Finally the clan and the farm animals form a compromise and both Tundra and Rory join the cold beach clan. Tundra becomes Tigerfrost but Rory opts to keep his name, wanting to remember his days on the farm. Tigerfrost is more of a fighter than a hunter, always on attack patrols and Rory becomes a den-dad, caring for kits but fights if need be.

So farmer Gidget just finished her first year in Stardew Valley and to summarize:

- She has 6 girlfriends (who are not talking to her right now because they just did the math). She can't afford to get married yet but she's probably going with Maru because she makes robots.

- She is trying very hard to be friends with everyone but some of these people are jerks.

- She still has Zari cat.

- She has 2 cows, Charlie and Mona. Charlie is the problem child.

- She has 2 ducks, Nate and Amaya.

- And then there are the chickens: Chick Rory (who fell asleep drunk in the middle of the crops a few days ago), Sara, Ray, Jax, Ava, Wally, and Mona.
