Last night’s “draw the squad” was the silly squad, so tonight it’s the squad that gets shit done!

This is a typical scene when we discuss cosplay plans, or Logan’s past (we’ve known each other since middle school and Mecinze not as long so it’s always fun to tell her new stories).

alphinaud infiltrates the spud squad discord server and finds... what else, but chaos?

Alphinaud had no idea what to expect when his girlfriend of two years had mysteriously and wordlessly sent him an invite to a server named ‘Squd Squad’ with a picture of a potato with an anime face set as the server icon... but he certainly hadn’t expected to be witness to a whole lengthy list full of channels for all sorts of subject matter - and the oddly warm reception he’d be met with in the #general-chatter channel

Within seconds of user Peachy’s request, the mod of the server gives Alphinaud access to the other channels, turning his name within the chat history from white to a light blue... and he is alarmed by the sheer number of them he has to go through in order to clear his notifications. 

At least it’s all organized relatively well, he can easily hide those under the anime and video games tab that he’d be relatively uninterested in. He sees a good few text channels like #music and #art that he thinks he’d like to scour a little more thoroughly later... and a strangely named #banned channel where a lonely lalafellin boy awaited as punishment for the cursed photos he posted in #memez.

notable features:

eyes - no iris (ironically), only pupil and sclera. very bloodshot, they don’t blink

scars - an autopsy scar from the morgue their body was in before they possessed it. self harm scars from the body’s ‘previous inhabitant’

teeth - when they took over their body, all the old teeth fell out and new sharp ones grew in

powers:

The Feeling of Being Watched - when looking at someone directly (ie without a filter, such as glass, plastic or a reflection) the air pressure around that living being will slowly begin to increase, and they will be left unable to move. This pressure will increase to the point of being painful, but cannot kill someone.

All Seeing Eye - by creating an eye symbol on any surface (floors, walls, vehicles, people), Iris can choose to use them to look through. The pupils of the symbol will move as if it were a real eye, and Iris can use them until the symbol is destroyed. Their eyes roll back in their head while they do this.

Personality wise, Iris is rather playful, and likes to creep people out. Sometimes they’ll say things just to scare people, they have a very dark and morbid sense of humour. They consider themselves to be a friend of Aki’s (who more or less just puts up with them), and when Power and Denji show up, they take on the “Older sibling’s cool best friend” role.

Tuuli is a very laid back and relaxed creature, she loves to take naps, especially in the sun, and make gifts for her friends. she's also very fond of physical affection.

Tuuli is a Tynnynkaula. Tyynynkaula are known to be solitary and territorial around others of their own species. they puff up like cats as a defense mechanism. they'll typically scrap with other tyynynkaula that enter their territory.

They are raised by their mothers, usually in litters of 1-3 kits. they leave when they reach a certain age and while they don't typically visit they do write.

I'm choosing to blame @mychemicalnations for the fact that I now have a fully fleshed out Genshin Impact OC /j

Sanya, The Rose's Thorns

23-24 years old, non binary (they/them)

geo shortsword user

They originally served their Mistress, a fatui spy who found Sanya as a child and took them in, raising them. They, in turn, acted as a sort of body guard for her when they received their vision and learned how to fight.

Roza, their Mistress, ends up dying dramatically and 'frees' them with her dying breath. Sanya never felt any loyalty to the Fatui or the Tsaritza, so without Roza there they defected.

They turned themselves over to Mondstadt, where they kind of just started doing community service and fighting off hilichurls/abyss creatures in order to try and atone for anything they may have done as a fatui agent.

They speak very formally, referring to everyone with some sort of honourific (they change depending on the nationality of the person they're speaking to). They're also rather stubborn and extremely enthusiastic, to the point that they can be a bit much sometimes.

They also have a major sweet tooth.

Their special dish is a modified version of the Adventurer's Breakfast Sandwich -> Breakfast with Greens, basically just eggs Florentine.

ELEMENTAL TALENTS

Their normal attacks are very elegant and flow nicely, they take inspiration from dance, particularly ballroom and ballet.

Their elemental skill produces a stone kite shield that protects you from frontal attacks. Holding E throws the shield Captain America style, it explodes on contact.

Their elemental burst causes an area to rumble, before large stone thorns jut out from the ground in every direction.

*cue maniacal laughter as i post this*
