we have 5 small apple trees and 1 small pear tree and holy hell I didn’t appreciate how much fruit they’d grow. for years and years I’ve made ciders/wines/jellies/etc with only foraged fruits so a “big batch” was pretty much restricted by however much I could hike down the mountain with at the time… now I have crates worth of fruit and the logistics of preserving it really becomes challenging!
today I’m starting:
— pink apple jelly from the crabapples… I love how this jelly looks in one of those “quilted” ball jars when I strain it super finely, it’s like a gem
— hard apple cider from the green apples and some of the macintoshes
— honey apple preserves from the rest of the macintoshes
— hard perry (pear cider) from the pears
the cider and perry would probably be drinkable in time for the cranberry harvest in a month and that would be really nice serve that around the bonfire, I think
I put away 8 or 9 jars of home made tomato sauce, froze several gallon bags’ worth of mixed berries as well as blanched & chopped spinach, green beans, and cauliflower. dried a bunch of summer squash and mushrooms. have beets, carrots, and winter squash on retainer. corn is looking promising, and a second round of peas and beans are starting now, so I’m hoping to put a lot of that away for the winter too.
there’s a lot more I could have done to preserve harvests this year I think but I really cannot overstate how much time, energy, SPACE!, and forethought it takes to actually try and live off of food you grow yourself.

We only have experienced employees in our restaurant. The outlook of our restaurant is set in an old-fashioned style, and guests can explore the beauty of our restaurant. If the guest requests to conduct a function at Foodie Hut, our F&B service department will arrange the function as per what the guest wants. We make special occasions memorable for the guests.

Foodie Hut has so many varieties of foods. The Foodie Hut has many varieties in the kitchen department, like Tandoor, Continental, South Indian, North Indian, and Bakery. We welcome our guests with a sweet welcome. The sweet is complimentary for the guest from Foodie Hut. We provide the best-quality food for the guests. We start with appetizers, then we go for the main course, and at last, we finish their dinner or lunch with a dessert. That’s our foodie hut’s style. That’s why we’re different from other restaurants. These all make our restaurant the best restaurant in Trivandrum.
Beverages in Foodie Hut
We have non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. The types of beverages we have are red wines, white wines, rose wines, champagne, sparkling wine, cocktails, mocktails, fresh juice, and mojitos, and we have so many varieties of these drinks on our menu.

Qualified Staffs
We only hire well-educated and trained staff at Foodie Hut. When we hire a staff member, we must check everything about her or his qualifications, and we give good training to the staff we hire. In F&B Service, our F&B manager, Gokul, was the one who hired staff in the F&B Service department. Our F&B manager, Mr. Gokul, is one of the best F&B managers in India. So he is always aware of everything in our restaurant. The F&B Service Department was in charge of the bar counter because they were dealing with guests. And our F&B department is so nice to the guests, and the guests of Foodie Hut are always happy for our service to them.
In the food production department, our executive chef is Sahina Sajith. She is a famous executive chef in India because we can’t see a female leader in the kitchen department. It was very rare to be a female executive chef. And she is one of the best master chefs in India. We are so proud to have an executive chef like her. Only Foodie Hut has a female leader in the food production department. Mrs.Sahina Sajith is the one who hires staff in the kitchen department. And we only hire a qualified person for our restaurant. That is the reason that our staff is the best-qualified staff in Trivandrum.

In our restaurant, the guests had complete satisfaction with Foodie Hut. Because of our good service to our guests. We conduct special events if the guest needs them. There are zero negative reviews for Foodie Hut. We are the best restaurant for our service and food quality. We always make our guests happy with our F&B service and food production department. The way we treat our guests is different. We only had positive reviews from the guests. Moreover, our varieties of food serve as a new experience for our guests, and they will love the way we serve the food to them. hey I got bored at work and made a KH Cafe ‘Menu’ but entirely Org13 themed some are suppose to be the ‘main’ things while the others are me panicking and like “WELL, SHIT,” throwing ideas out against the wall
all for funsies cause im fully aware these won’t look cute on a plate, but hey. it’s the org. they’re the edgy emo kids.
Xemnas:  
   Meal: Hayashi rice with pickled ginger on the side and the cream swirl. The rice is dyed yellow and in the molded to the shape of a heart. Complimentary clear red chopsticks come with the meal.    Drink: Shaken espresso served in a martini glass. Lightly flavored with vanilla and a cinnamon sugar lip    Dessert: Affogato with vanilla ice cream, cinnamon sugar dusting, and shaved chocolate. An acrylic of his weapon (however hard it is to make two laser swords look cool) comes laying against the serving plate.
Xigbar:  
   Meal: Pumpernickel, cream cheese, and salmon half-sandwich. Side of a spicy cucumber salad and toothpick skewered tomatoes. The acrylic of the arrow gun is attached to a toothpick, which is holding the sandwich closed.    Drink: Black peppercorn infused blackberry syrup with club soda. Served not stirred for layering effect. Comes with an acrylic of his arrowgun attached to the stir-stick       Dessert: Two slices of roll cake, chocolate outside with an anko cream filling. Plated so they're half laying on each other with a thick chocolate drizzle going across the left side of both cakes. The plate is dotted with whipped cream with a fanned strawberry leaning against it. 
 Xaldin:    
   Meal: Chicken omurice with three strips of seaweed across the egg. Comes with three mixed skewered vegetables on a small bed of lettuce.    Drink: A delicately layered drink with blackberry puree at the base, a rose jelly and syrup layer,  and carefully topped with soymilk. Stirring with the provided berry skewer on a themed Xaldin lance stick will blend the flavors.    Dessert: A single slice of a dense chocolate cake with edible, dried rose petals. It’s more of a torte than a true ‘cake’, and has three blackberry glaze drizzle stripes across the slice.
 Vexen:    
   Meal: A small bowl of cold cucumber soup with four cream cheese tea sandwiches. Each tea sandwich has two to three small heart-cut pink radish across the top.    Drink: Blue cream soda carefully layered to fade to clear on top. It’s topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and some white snowflake shaped sprinkles.    Dessert: Two scoops of coconut flavored ice cream dressed up with whipped cream and coconut shavings. The ice cream balls have a stripe of strawberry preserve and a few dots of mango to pose as buttons to theme it like a snowman. An acrylic standee of his Snowman shield is stuck in the whipped cream
Lexaeus:  
   Meal: Curry plate with chicken katsu cutlet. Instead of laying on a bed of rice, the chicken lays against side vegetables with the rice is shaped into a mound, placed center of the curry. An acrylic image of Lexaeus's skysplitter is placed into the rice, handle sticking up.    Drink: Hot orange spice tea. Nothing too special, but there is a slice of orange pressed to the bottom of the shallow cup that can be eaten after, if you’re in to warm fruit.    Dessert: A caramel cake baked in a rock shaped mold. It sits on a bed of five banana slices and drizzled with caramel sauce. A few dark brown and orange candy chocolate rocks are also scattered around the base.
 Zexion:    
   Meal: An open face sandwich on toast, layered with lettuce, cheese, and ham. The top of the ham is decorated with the Organization's logo in mayonnaise. Comes with leafy side salad and fruit.    Drink: Blueberry fruit syrup layered with club soda and edible pearl powder to give the drink an illusionist shimmer. Topped with just enough cream to reach the top of the glass and a dusting of dried blueberry powder.    Dessert: Six small shortbread cookies decorated in icing fondant to look like the cover of his book. Served with dipping chocolate. Comes with an acrylic souvenir of his book.
 Saix:  
   Meal: Hamburg steak plate with a decorative X shape of mayo across the sauced top, served on a small bed of rice. Comes with a side salad of mixed vegetables and crescent moons of baked kabocha squash. An acrylic of the Claymore is pressed into the center of the steak as if it was slammed in.    Drink: Lavender syrup mixed with American lemonade only until the drink resembles a light grey color rather than a heavy lean into yellow or purple. Decorated with a lemon slice cut to resemble a moon.    Dessert: Dome mousse cake with a deep blue finish. The mousse is lightly lemon flavored with a center of blueberry jam, and resting upon a vanilla cake base. The cake is decorated with a fondant crescent moon and a dusted golden X. Comes with a candied lemon wedge.
 Axel:  
   Meal: A slice of pepperoni pizza, piled high with small cupping pepperoni, and dusted with chili flake. A side of a tossed, leafy salad is provided to help cut through the heat. A chakram acrylic comes attached to the salad, skewering a tomato wedge.    Drink: Tomato juice and beet juice layered together to make a light gradient-- heavier on the tomato than the beet. Top is sprinkled with cayenne for a little bit of an added kick. Decorate with a small celery leaf.    Dessert: A blood orange flavored cake, square cut and layered into three small tiers with raw edge sides. The top is sugar crusted and crisped in a brulee, with a sun fondant decoration wedged into a few peaks of cream. A twist of candied orange is also placed as decoration
 Demyx:  
   Meal: Small dish of seafood doria with a side of green vegetable to cut through the heavy dish. No broccoli is in the doria itself, and is instead decorating the side leafy salad. An acrylic of his sitar is laid across the salad.    Drink: A tall glass with a clear, bubbly ramune flavored soda. Blue soda-candy jelly is at the base. It’s served cream soda style, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream balanced at the top and a long blue straw.    Dessert: A raindrop cake with a soft blue-green gradient. The top is dusted with kinako powder. For how simple the dish is, it comes with a side of seasonal fruit and a plastic spork styled at the top to resemble his sitar's handle that you can take home.
Luxord:  
   Meal: Caprese bites on a bed of lettuce. The cheese and basil base remains the same for each, but the cherry tomato on top varies between a bright red tomato or a dark purple skinned tomato. The salad has a balsamic drizzle and card suits cut vegetables.    Drink: An espresso served with a small container of cream and two sugar cubes, chocolate-dotted to be dice.    Dessert: Chocolate lava cake with a deep red filling, dusted with powdered sugar. It's served alongside thin cookies decorated into playing cards. It can be turned into a meal set with the drink option. 
 Marluxia:  
   Meal: Salad full of mixed greens and colorful radish. Designed to be incredibly colorful, it’s got a few little blooms of edible flowers wedged around the plate. Comes with a few flower shaped breaded chicken ‘nuggets’ along the rim.    Drink: Rose syrup infused sparkling lemon soda, decorated with dried rose petals. There’s the smallest bit of strawberry syrup at the bottom of the cup to really make a pink color. A wedge of lemon decorates the rim.    Dessert: A thin, crisp almost crepelike shell in a low dish holds mixed berries, mint, and thick soft chunks of pound cake. The whole thing is drizzled with a sweet rose syrup. An acrylic of his scythe hangs out among the cake bits.
 Larxene:  
   Meal: Two skewers of karaage laying on a bed of cabbage with tartar sauce and two wedges of lemon. The other side of the plate has fries with a bit of mustard drizzled across the tips.    Drink: Layered cream soda, blue syrup at the bottom that fades into a pale yellow. It's topped with whipped cream and comes with sour popping candy meant to be mixed into the drink to activate the light carbonation. Comes with an acrylic charm of one of her daggers.    Dessert: Shaved ice with yuzu and orange drizzle. It’s a stretch to include it under the Larxene umbrella, but the sour notes should bring forth thoughts of lightning and shocks.
Roxas & Xion:
   Meal: Roxas and Xion share the same half sandwich, as if it was once part of a whole sandwich and split into two meal plates. They differ in that Xion gets a side leafy salad with radish and carrot, and Roxas gets french fries. [ and then i gave up makin them desserts & drinks, since they have the seasalt milk ‘drink’ at the actual cafe ]

Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun: Ghost Hotel’s Café (Part 1)

Sneaking into a collaboration café that has the image of a “ghost hotel”! A cute and horrific space where one can feel at home for an “eternity”.
The Ghost Hotel’s Café, a collaboration café for “Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun” - one of the mangas currently being serialized in G Fantasy (Square Enix) -, was held in Tokyo, Ikebukuro’s AniPara Café, for a limited period from 12/05/2019 to 02/11/2020. In this collaboration café, the inside of the shop was decorated with “Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun”, where people can taste collaboration food and drinks, as well as purchase exclusive goods that cannot be acquired anywhere except in this café. This time, Pash! PLUS has been there for the first half of the event, which lasted from 12/05/2019 to 01/08/2020!
Welcome to the interior of the “Ghost Hotel”. You can relax here forever.
Ikebukuro’s AniPara Café is located on the 7th floor of a building that sits at a five-minute walk from the east exit of Ikebukuro (the Seven-Eleven on the 1st floor is a landmark!). This time, the collaboration café is based on the image of “Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun” x “Ghost Hotel”, and when the door is opened, the characters of “Hanako-kun”, who became employees at the “Ghost Hotel”, will welcome you.
The adorable characters drawn by AidaIro-sensei are everywhere in the store! As there were already many pop-like and cute illustrations in display at the entrance, we were stuck there for a while. However, this is a “ghost hotel”. Perhaps something more than just cute may be waiting...!?

Enormous panels of Hanako-kun, Nene and Kou were installed at the entrance to the main floor. By the way, if you looked veeery closely at the panels, there was a certain hidden message in them, or something like that. What’s more, the characters of “Hanako-kun” were hiding around the store in miniature versions... Check out every corner if you visit this collaboration café. The playfulness of the “ghost hotel’s employees” may be hidden all over.

Moreover, an original story by AidaIro-sensei was posted on the official Twitter of this collaboration café (@hanakokuncafe). If you check the backstory that led to the opening of the Ghost Hotel in advance, you may enjoy it from a different perspective!
In addition, there are many display panels of “Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun” around the store. It is a luxurious space where you can enjoy the adorable and vivid world drawn by Aida-sensei during the meantime until the collaboration menu arrives. It’s cute everywhere.

Just like ghosts, they “suddenly” appear everywhere in the store. While at this collaboration café, it may be best to pay attention to signs of their presence, so that you will be ready to encounter them anytime.

When it comes to collaboration cafés, the food and drinks are indispensable! This collaboration café has the “Ghost Hotel’s Café Afternoon Tea”, which includes an invitation to the Ghost Hotel; Hanako-kun’s favorite food, “Hanako-kun’s Floaty Doughnut”; “Mistuba’s Showy Pasta”, a pink pasta that aims for “flashiness”; the sparkly “Mokke’s Delightful Candy Cake”, modeled after candies, the Mokke’s staple food; and “The Edible Plots of Nene from the Gardening Club”, which looks almost like a plot and has a connection with the fact that Nene is part of the gardening club.
Cute and unique foods and drinks such as “Natsuhiko’s Room Service Cocoa”, which has chocolates shaped as screws as its main point, and “Teru’s Holy Exorcist Blue Soda”, which seems to be refreshingly purified by a combination of blue syrup and lychee soda, also made an appearance.
On the occasion, we ordered “Hanako-kun’s Vampire Berry Tea” and “Nene’s Welcome Drink” out of the many menu items. We actually tried them!

Berry tea with the image of a “vampire” Hanako! At first glance, it has a dark red, tomato juice-like color (metaphor), but it is a beautiful drink that looks like rubies when you hold it in the light.
On the topic of berry tea, there are many people who wonder, “Doesn’t the taste of the black tea get too light because the taste of berries is too strong?” but Hanako-kun’s Vampire Berry Tea presents a good balance between the taste of tea and of berries, so we wound up humming without thinking, “I was waiting for this balance!”. There are three types of berries as topping and you can enjoy their texture, so for the people who are indecisive about their drink, we recommend Hanako-kun’s Vampire Berry Tea!

Walking up the stairs to the intelligence unit you had exciting news to tell your dad, Hank Voight. It was somewhat awkward being a firefighter and your dad being a cop. There was a war going on between the two and the battle took place in the baseball field.
"What up, losers". Laughing when you saw all their faces.
"The game hasn't even started and you're already celebrating. We're going to wipe the floor with you ladder climbers". Adam chuckled at his horrible burn.
"Whatever, donut munchers". You eyed the pink frosted with sprinkles donut in Adam's hand.
"Girl, you eat donuts too". Kevin laughed.
"Not this body". You pulled up your shirt showing your stomach doing a twirl in front of them. Kevin noticing the badges tattooed on your lower back with a chuckle.
"Go see your daddy. Maybe he'll smack some sense into you". Adam scoffed.
"You jelly, Ruzek". You giggled sending a wink to him.
"Hey daddy". You came into Hanks office so sweetly.
"Are you getting ready for the game"? He asked looking up from his work.
"Yeah, you coming out to cheer for me"? You knew the answer but you had to ask.
"I love you but I have to root for my unit. Nothing personal".
"Right. Alright. I just came to say I'll see you later. Have to get ready to kick your ass".
"Watch it now. You're not to old for me to give you a whoopin". Hank threatened.
"Sure. Bye now". You kissed his cheek and walked out of the squad room getting dirty looks from all the team. Especially Adam.
It was a few hours before the game so you headed home to rest up and get changed. Tying up your sneakers you head boots hit the wooden floor as they came down the hall.
"Hey, winner". Adam snickered as he leaned on the door.
"Hey. So you know I'm going to kick your ass and win"?
"No you're still going to lose but you won with me". He smiled a toothy smile.
"If you say so. Listen I have to get to the firehouse so I'll see you at the game"?
"Yeah. I'll be the one on Kevin's shoulders celebrating".
"Oh you get on Kevin's shoulders too? Thought it was just me". You giggled when Adam growled.
"Not funny". You kissed his cheek and went on your way.
Adam changed for the game and headed to the ball field. Getting ready to squash some hose holders.
You headed to the station to pick up Gabby she was just getting off shift when you pulled up.
"Hey hey". She excitedly said as she jumped into the car.
"You look nice". You say as you drove off. "A little to nice for a ball game".
"There might be a certain cop that I like". She blushed.
"Oh really do tell".
"Halstead". She gushed and you gagged.
"Ew, really. That pip squeak"?
"He's cute".
"No.  He's not".
"Ah come on. Then who would you pick to date"?
"None, they're all like brothers to me. Alvin's my uncle so it'll all be too weird for me".
"Whatever. He's cute". She said looking out the window.
Just when you were pulling into the field your phone vibrated. It was a text message from Adam saying he'll take care of you after he wins.. Gabbys eyes grew big and he has dropped as his picture was your screen saver.
"You f-ing liar. You're dating your brother. Ewwwwwww". She scrunched up her nose.
"Please for the love of God, do not tell anyone. If you do I will cut your tongue out". You pleaded with her. She crossed her arms.
"Fine. But Adam? Gross. He's a giant man child".
"He's sweet and caring. Adam makes me feel something that I've never felt before. He treats me good".
"As long as you're happy there's nothing I can do. Just don't expect me to like him".
"You already like him. He's one of your friends, crazy lady". You giggled, grabbing your phone and getting out of the car.
"You're right so the right thing to do is except your relationship. I do". You hugged her tight.
"Thank you. Now if your reaction went well maybe my dads will too".
"Probably not. He'll kill Adam".
"That's what I'm afraid of". You signed wrapping your arm around Gabbys shoulder and headed to the field some of the team and cpd were there already.
"Hey guys". You say sitting your bag on the ground.
"What's up, weaklings". Adam came out from behind the bleachers with a smirk.
"Go away. This is our area. Yours is over there. Next to the trash, your ride will be here soon". Everyone busted out laughing as Adam grumbled.
"This will be settled on the field, Voight". He stomped and went back to his dugout.
"More like it would be settled in the bedroom". Gabby whispered in your ear. You nudged her side, blushing.
"Hush you". You shook your head and went to get ready. Putting your phone in your bag but you decided to message Adam saying you were sorry and maybe took it to far.
Adam was stretching when his phone dinged.
"Kev, you want to get that for me"? Adam asked Kevin who was sitting next to his phone.
Kevin picked up Adam's phone and swiped it. The screen saver was a picture of a woman in a pair of panties with her back towards the camera. Kevin didnt see her face just the tattoos on her lower back. Of two badges.
Then it clicked in his head where he had seen that tattoo recently.
"You're dating Y/N"? Kevin got up quickly.
"Shhhhh". Adam covered Kevin's mouth with his hand.
"You're a dead man when Voight finds out".
"Don't say anything. We aren't ready to tell anyone just yet".
"Are you crazy? She is off limits to everyone".
"I like her a lot. The way she makes me feel, is something I haven't had with anyone. Just her".
"You need to end it".
"We're living together".
"You're a dead man walking". Kevin ticked his tongue.
"I know. But I love her". Adam took a deep breath and watched you as you were getting ready to go out on the field.

The Hunt Is On! Eggs-traordinary Animals That Hide Their Eggs

Just once every year, an eggs-tra special day rolls around when a certain long-eared, fluffy-tailed fellow comes hopping down the bunny trail to your home. He brings with him all of the egg-ceptionally tasty springtime goodies that he knows will satisfy your sweet tooth. Your basket gets filled to the brim with chocolate rabbits, pastel-colored confections, and chick-shaped marshmallows, just to name a few delectable treats. It’s a holiday candy lover’s dream! But then you may just notice one thing that’s missing…where are all the eggs? No, the Easter Bunny didn’t forget them. He’s giving you a bit of a challenge this year. He’s remembered an old German tradition that started hundreds of years ago. It was so long ago that he had a different name…Osterhase! Osterhase would secretly lay eggs in the back garden so children could enjoy the outdoors and hunt for their Easter eggs. So, like long ago, you get to look outside (virtually) for eggs too! But as you search and discover egg after egg, little do you know that, beyond your garden, there are many more eggs concealed in secret spots. In fact, they’re all over the world…in mountain forests, on ocean shores, and in steamy swamps. But they’re not hidden by the Easter Bunny. All sorts of animals hide their eggs too! Let’s take some time to eggs-plore the planet and learn more about these eggs-traordinary creatures. Let’s go on an egg hunt!
First let’s search out West for the eggs of a plump, short-tailed bird called the American Dipper. They love to live in and around pristine mountain streams ranging from way up in Alaska and all the way down into Panama! That’s a lot of places for them to hide their eggs, so, for now, let’s just focus on one of the Dipper’s favorite spots in Montana’s Rocky Mountains. Dippers are the only songbirds in the United States that love to routinely swim. And they have several adaptations that make dunking and diving quite easy for them. At the base of their tails, they have what is called a uropygial (oil) gland. They use their beak to collect oil from this gland and, when they preen, it makes their feathers waterproof. They also have nictitating membranes (extra eyelids) and flaps of skin covering their nostrils that protect their eyes and beak when they’re submerged.
But all these swim-friendly features can also help immensely when Dippers nest. To keep their eggs safe from predators, they sometimes build their nests in hard-to-reach spots like cliff ledges, on boulders, and under bridges. But there is one very special, watery way that Dippers like to raise their chicks…behind waterfalls! It can get wet if you live behind a waterfall, so a Dipper nest is specially designed to withstand such damp conditions. The dome-shaped nest is about the size of a soccer ball and has multiple layers of moss, bark, leaves, and coarse grass. The thick, outside shell of moss absorbs moisture so the inside, lined with grass, stays cozy and dry. After around two weeks of incubation, the clutch of four to five eggs hatch. Mom spends a lot of time on the nest, but both parents feed the sparsely-downed chicks up to twenty times an hour! They must fly back and forth through the veil of falling water to get to and from their hungry babies.
After a little over three weeks, the fledgling Dippers are old enough to leave the nest. So, they must bravely make their first trip through the curtain of cascading water. Then they watch and learn from their parents how to wade, swim, and dive in the stream to hunt for food. Sadly, the Dipper’s preferred meals (crayfish, tadpoles, fish eggs, and aquatic insects) become scarce when streams are tainted by humans. Poor practices in logging, mining, and farming can cause these birds to abandon polluted areas. Luckily, for now, they do manage to find new locations with clean, cold, rushing water that they can happily call home.
Now let’s travel a few states over to Florida, one of several Southern states where the American Alligator glides through the waters of slow-moving rivers, lakes, and sweltering marshes. In June and July, the female alligator creates a huge nest out of mud, plants, and sticks. It can be up to two to three feet high and as wide as seven to ten feet! The nest needs to be this big because the mother alligator lays as many as thirty-five to ninety eggs. Once the nest is filled with eggs, she completely covers them up with more vegetation. As the eggs rest hidden and undisturbed for several weeks, an interesting process occurs within the massive mound.

Alligator embryos do not have chromosomes that determine gender, so the temperature of the nest determines how many of the young are girls and how many are boys. If, for example, the nest is located on a sunny riverbank (somewhere around 91 to 93 degrees Fahrenheit), the offspring are mostly male. The temperature of a nest in a cool, shady spot might hover around 86 degrees, and that environment produces mostly females. Around the end of August, the baby gators, still safe in their eggs, start making high-pitched noises. This lets their mom know that they’re ready to break out. She uncovers the nest for them to hatch. When the hatchlings are tiny, they hang out in a small group called a “pod”, but mom is always close by keeping a watchful eye on them. Unfortunately, climate change is beginning to affect the behavior of temperature-dependent species like the alligator. They are beginning to nest earlier and earlier in the year to preserve the correct male to female ratio. The alligators instinctively know that they need to keep a gender balance to allow their species to successfully thrive!
Our last stop covers a wide area, so get ready for the toughest challenge of our hunt! We’re going to search for the eggs of the Loggerhead Turtle. They like to swim in the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans, and the Mediterranean Sea. But between late April and early September, the females leave their aquatic homes to nest on the beaches where they themselves hatched decades earlier. Safely under the cover of darkness, a female Loggerhead will use her powerful rear flippers to dig a hole in the sand. After she lays around one hundred eggs, she once again uses her flippers to expertly cover up her eggs. She does such a thorough job that she erases any sign of her nest…it’s a safe and cozy hiding place for her eggs! They need to be well-hidden because the mother Loggerhead does not watch over her nest. Instead, she returns to the sea, leaving the concealed eggs to develop on their own.
Like alligators, the gender of sea turtle embryos is temperature dependent. A nest in warmer sand produces more females (this biological fact concerns marine scientists because global warming will disrupt the proper male to female ratio). After about two months of incubation, the baby turtles hatch and wait for nightfall. Then in a joint effort, they all climb out of the nest together and make a mad dash for the ocean waves. But their journey is fraught with danger.
Predators such as birds, crabs, dogs, and even raccoons are anxiously waiting to make these little turtles into scrumptious evening snacks. And the hatchlings have another, more insidious hazard to deal with…artificial light. To reach the ocean, the hatchlings use the natural light (the moon and stars) horizon to guide them. But beachfront lighting, highway lights, and campfires can disorient them and lead them in the wrong direction. It’s true that the odds are stacked against them, and even though it’s a treacherous trek to the water’s edge, many do make it. And then the real adventure begins for these little ones in their new ocean home!
Now that we’ve finished our egg hunting eggs-pedition, and you’ve fervently feasted on your Easter treats, your once-filled basket contains only some crumpled foil, a clump of Easter grass, and one squashed jelly bean. And, unfortunately, the only thing that you’ve got plenty of are the pangs of an eggs-cruciating stomachache. But while you’re laying back in your favorite comfy chair recovering from the day’s egg-citement, think about all those creatures out there in the world that work so hard to hide their eggs in the most interesting of places. And that leads you to wondering that maybe, just maybe, there might be one more egg still hidden in your garden. It might be hiding behind the daffodils or under the old wheelbarrow or in the tulip bed. And when you feel better, and you go back outside and find that last egg, it seems to me that would be an egg-cellent way to end an eggs-tra special day.

Convention Foods
Alternate title: 
Holy shit I’m worried about all of you, please eat at cons! 
A friendly guide to travel-ready foods and snacks so y’all don’t pass out, I’m serious I saw 3 people wheeled past by EMS this weekend at katsucon ‘cause y’all were dehydrated and didn’t eat anything but noodles for 3 days. 
You can avoid being a dehydrated, starving husk of a cosplayer at 3 and 4-day conventions by doing some basic meal planning and prep before you leave. Eat like royalty and share your bounty with the masses. 
You can seriously bring your own herbs and spices. You can bring knives and flatware if you pack it in a normal suitcase and not a carry-on! Stop living on ramen, for fuck’s sake!!!! 
PART 1 - Foods that require ZERO heat sources at the convention, and you can pack it in your suitcase or carry-on through the airport.
Flavors for your water. I get it, sometimes water gets boring. Bring some flavor squirts, Gatorade powders, or citrus juice to throw into the water so  you CHUG it. Don’t be that guy who passes out from dehydration and has to pay for an ambulance.  Bring tea bags! You can cold-steep tea. 
Snack and meal bars. Trail mix. Duh. 
Fresh whole Fruit - Apples, Banana, mangos, avocados, pears, any citrus, can all be stored a room temperature and are hardy enough to throw in a suitcase and not worry. 
Dried fruit, too. 
Chopped Veggies - Bell Peppers, Carrots, Cabbage, Cucumber, Celery, all fine at room temp. 
Nut butters, like almond butter, peanut butter, can make an apple or green pepper taste awesome. You can also eat it with a spoon. 
Jelly doesn’t have to be kept in the fridge, as long as you close the lid. Uber to a nearby grocer or gas station and pick up some bread and you’ve got sandwiches! 
Rice - You’re weebs, you know what Rice Balls are. Just make a shitload of them, stuff ‘em with something from the list above, and as long as they’re kept in a sealed container, you can eat them for days. Hell, you’re even on-brand, and get to learn to make those suckers
Hard-boiled egg (with shell still on) is fine for several days at room temp.
Cheese. Most cheese is perfectly fine at room temp for a couple days. 
Oatmeal can be cooked in room temperature water overnight. 
Dried meats like Jerky. 
Single-serve cream cheese. 
PART 2 - Stuff that needs a microwave, and heat-friendly plates/bowls
Fuckin’ bring your own if you have to. Electric kettles are cheap and lightweight, and travel easy. Remember seasonings, like salt, pepper, garlic, oregano, soy sauce, etc. 
 Baked Potatoes. Microwave the shit out of potatoes, slap some butter and cheese and spices on it, and you’ve got a home-cooked meal right there. 
Squash - If you chop it up before you leave for the hotel, you can cover a bowl and nuke the hell out of it with water and eat with butter and whatever herbs/spices you like. 
Corn on the Cob - stuff it in a plastic bag with a bit of water, nuke it. Fast and easy.  
Pasta, Rice, Beans, Corn.
Microwave some canned SAUCE for your pasta, and get Alfredo sauce, Marinara, whatever you want. Get gormet up in this shit and make your own pasta sauce to bring in a tupperware. 
Hot dogs, Bacon, Cheesy nachos
Oatmeal - Isn’t this how most americans eat oatmeal anyway? Nuke it baybee.
Eggs - scrambled, poached, whatever. You can even throw some cheese, pre-chopped onions and green peppers in there for an omelette. 
You can even Microwave Chicken breast by putting it in microwave-safe tupperware with water halfway up the chicken, then covering it with the lid. Nuke it for 4-5 minutes per breast, then an extra minute at the end to be sure.  Use whatever seasonings you like. 
Microwave some Steak - Pat it dry, season both sides, slap it on a microwave safe dish for 3 minutes, flip over, and nuke for another 3-4 minutes. 
Cooked Onions, Bell Peppers, Cabbage,  - Have them pre-chopped, slather with butter or oil and seasonings, nuke for 5-8 minutes.  
Technically you can microwave fish, too, but I highly advise against it. 
Bro, you can make your own SUSHI if you just use cream cheese, veggies, and your microwave rice + chicken. 
Part 3 - Gourmet motherfuckers. 
People who bring shit like an electric griddle, waffle iron, a chopping mat and actual cooking tools with them when traveling. Super easy if you have the packing space. 
I have literally cooked brownies and omelettes on a waffle iron. Once you have a steady heat source, you’re cooking with FIRE~ Eat whatever you want, you’re the queen here. 
Clear the counter space and have a food party.

Chapter 6: Ladybug
Ladybug comes to Chat Noir's rescue but how will she react to his extra weight.

This project has become much bigger that I thought it would, quite literally haha. I am probably think of doing another two more chapters to round this story off. Hopefully the next chapter won't be too much of a weight :P (I'll stop with the weight gain puns haha)

It felt like forever being stuck in that window. All Chat Noir could do was wiggle his large balloon butt and watch ground beneath him. He could not stop thinking of what Ladybug would think of him. He knew that his eating was out of control and that he should cut back. He could just hear it now, Ladybug scolding him about his weight and telling him the importance of eating a balanced diet. His heart began to sink at the thought of this.
He then attempts to look up, although his neck folds restrict his movement. He spots and a spotted figure jumping from building to building. His heart began to race, his palms start to feel sweaty and he could feel a dryness in his mouth. There was no going back now, literally.
Ladybug lands at the coordinates Chat Noir had given her; the grounds of the cake factory. She could see in the distance what looks like a large black balloon stuck in a window. As she approaches it, she could make out Chat Noir’s face sticking out. It was at that point she realises that he was the balloon! “Chat is that you?”, Ladybug questions.
“Hey M’lady, you like the new look?”, Chat Noir replies confidently, whilst also blushing bright red and biting his lip.
She walks up to him and realises that he wasn’t puffed up with air, it was fat. Chat Noir was a massive ball of lard! He looks like he weighed around 400 pounds! She could see that Chat Noir’s cheeks has puffed up so round he almost looks like a chipmunk’s cheek. His arms have filled out which strained his suit. She then made her way towards his massive gut which was being squeezed through the window frame. It was then when Ladybug realises that Chat Noir had completely split his suit in two. She peers through the window and could see his two round butt cheeks on the other side rising behind him. Her slim cat partner had transformed into a massive blob of fat. Ladybug replies under her breath “Wow” and she places a hand on his belly. She then snaps out her trance and exclaims, “How did you get this big?!”
Chat Noir giggles nervously and sheepishly says, “Well it’s a long story.”
“Did Hawk Moth do this to you? Has someone been akumatized?”, Ladybug questions in a frantic manner whilst looking around.
“No no, not at all”, replies Chat Noir who was beginning blush a deeper shade of red. “I… I well, kinda did this to myself.”
“What!”, Ladybug yells. “What do you mean, you did this. Why? You know how irresponsible that is?” she demands.
“Yeah I know. Ever since the battle with Kung Food, I’ve been craving sweets and I kinda snuck into this factory to sample some of their pudding flavours and I may have over done it.” Chat Noir answers, wishing he could just disappear.
“Sample”, she questions. “It looks like you more than sampled them. What, did you drink straight from the container?”
All Chat Noir could do was just giggle nervously.
“You can’t be serious”, Ladybug replies as she rests her head into her hand.
“Look, while I appreciate our little chats, you can scold me later after you help me get free. Plus, I really don’t want to be known as the cat who got stuck in a cake factory”, says Chat Noir.    
“Right”, says Ladybug as she grabs onto one of his hands and begins to pull. Even his hands had softened up she thought to herself. With no luck, she comes up with a new plan of attack. She grabs onto the underside of his belly and tries to lift him through the window frame.
“Ooo M’lady getting a little frisky, are we?” Chat Noir cheekily asks.
“Shut up Chat”, she replies. “Once I get you free, you are definitely going on a diet.”        
With Ladybug kneeling underneath Chat Noir’s belly to lift him through; they hear a loud pop as Chat Noir is finally free from his window trap. Chat Noir who is too fat to stop the force of gravity collapses on top of Ladybug. His massive bulk engulfing the hero. She could not move at all as she was being smothered by Chat Noir’s flab.  
Just when Ladybug started to enjoy the feeling of being squashed by her partner’s belly, Chat Noir uses his staff to roll off Ladybug, his gut swaying like a large pool of jelly. Ladybug then gasps for air as she sits upright, still in disbelieve at what just happened. She then looks over at her partner who was still laying on the ground trying to steady his belly from the sudden jolt in movement. She finally was able to get a good look at Chat Noir’s soft pillowy doughy belly which was spilling out of his ripped suit. It looks so round and tantalising, she wanted to give it another squeeze. Chat Noir trying to break the awkward silence says, “Sorry about that, looks like I’m still not used to carrying around this”, as he slaps his belly, causing it to ripple.    
This made Ladybug blush bright red as all she could say was, “That’s hot.”
“What was that?” Chat asks.
“Uhhhh… I mean that’s not... a problem”, Ladybug replies as she stumbles to her feet. She then reaches down, grabs Chat Noir’s hand to help him back on his feet. Finally standing again and using his staff to keep him balanced, Ladybug was able to grasp his full size. Gut bulging out his leather suit, and his arms and legs looking like filled sausages, ready to burst. Even his shiny golden bell was starting to become hidden from his triple chins. He was incredibly overweight, but Ladybug couldn’t stop thinking how attractive her cat partner has become.
“We should probably go before we get caught”, Chat Noir says.
“Right”, Ladybug replies, as they both run and waddle away from the factory.

He was standing in the foyer when your key granted you entrance and no matter how long your heart was hopelessly endowed to him, you couldn’t stop the small panic that forced the glance over your shoulder out to the sunset. But it was that, the sunset, darkened hues of purple and red taking up the majority of the sky as bright yellows and oranges disappeared underneath the treeline beyond the house.
Your heart calmed and you found him smirking into diligent fingers fiddling at the sleeves of his black sweater when you shut the door behind you.
But even though the sunset partially explained Yoongi’s premature emergence from his study in the basement (one that didn’t require you to bound down the stairs and shower his lukewarm skin in welcoming kisses until he agreed to come make dinner with you), it didn’t explain his attire.

“Do you think…” Yoongi trailed off as his gaze did over his shoulder, eyeing the food stands behind you before spilling out in a series of squashed syllables, “Do you think we could grab a funnel cake before we leave?”
“Do you think it will taste the same?”
He shrugged, and the deadpan nature in which he spoke made your heart swell four times over until it lodged in the base of your throat.
