Juleka’s nose wrinkled in disgust as she spat the word. Marinette’s lip jutted out in a pout. Luka was suddenly very distracted by that lip, and while he agreed with his girlfriend wholeheartedly…he was kind of siding with his sister, just to see her pout some more.

If Juleka won the argu…debate over which movie they’d be watching tonight, it was very likely he could sneak away with his girlfriend to make out instead. He…was not opposed to that idea.

“You said it had to be a ghost movie,” Marinette argued, gesturing at the screen. “This is a ghost movie!”

“Just Like Heaven is not a ghost movie, Marinette – she’s not even dead!” Juleka groaned, dropping her head back on the old couch.

“She’s almost dead…” Rose offered, trying to keep the peace.

“Not helping, Ro,” Juleka grumbled.

“It’s got Reese Witherspoon!” Marinette argued.

“Exactly! A classic rom com actress!” Juleka snapped.

“What about Casper?” Rose piped up, flipping through the streaming service’s catalogue. “He’s a ghost!”

“I could do Casper,” Luka offered, returning Rose’s grateful smile. “His uncles are dicks, but he’s friendly enough.”

“…you are all such losers,” Juleka sighed, sinking back into a proper sulk as Rose pulled up the movie. “You two are perfect for each other. Wusses.”

Ten minute later, with Marinette cuddled against his side under a blanket (and her fingers drawing distracting little patterns on his hip, where his shirt was bunching up), Luka didn’t really care what Juleka thought.

…well. Except the perfect for each other part. He kind of liked that.

It was Marinette and Luka’s cat, but Juleka was the one who named him.

“I am the Queen of Darkness, Lu,” she said, cuddling the cat while her brother collected the madeleines she had ordered. “Your phone says so.”

“Yeah, so?” he asked, not even feeling guilty that she knew that was her contact name. She was the one who had programmed it, after all. She rolled her eyes.

“So, all black cats are in service of the Queen. You procured a minion and didn’t even tell me,” she said. “So…I get to name him.”

It was pointless arguing with her. He and Marinette couldn’t actually agree on a name, anyway.

(He wanted something fun like Darkwing or Binx. Marinette wanted something sensible, like Raisin.)

In the end, per Jul…the Queen’s decree, they called him Spooky.

In the spirit of the rapidly approaching spooky season, could I interest you in a vampire hunter au?

basically, Fred McFazbear and crew are vampire hunters and Afton is a vampire they're trying to stop. (fazbear crew is cursed, Vanessa is a witch, monty is very very sad, uh oh someone's a vampire (wonder who), and Y/N is just doing their best.

There is TONS more to it than that though and I'm excited to get it all doodled/written out heehee.

I've been thinking about this concept for a day or two and I almost have an entire storyline planned out for it and I'm so so excited, so expect some doodles soon :))
