I think wyll can't cook. Hes like im an expert on the grill. But hes twenty four/five and has lived either in a mansion getting all his fancy meals cooked for him OR on the road and in literal hell. I know wyll burns that thing nine times out of ten and says it adds flavor. Its rustic. It's charming. U know it's not raw, so it's safe. U want salmonella go get gale to cook for you. This is perfectly crispy. It would taste better if you didn't get the meat and cheese from a barrel u found with moldy carrots in it. Maybe u should try actually buying from a reputable vendor instead of picking up ur produce in a cave filled with murderers. Drink more ale/wine. Makes it taste better. Pairs beautifully.

i like to imagine nakyalag makes his appearances through unconventional means just because he thinks its funny. he will never manifest before you in a bright, glorious beam of light. his presence can be predicted by puddles of water or other fluids coagulating around the site, or a sudden strong smell of sulfur and stagnant water. food around his presence rots quickly, mold and fungi spring up from his steps, and fluid he manifests from remains coagulated and brown long after he leaves.

if there isnt any fluid around he isnt opposed to crawling out of the ground, tearing out of a rotten log, being regurgitated by someone in the vicinity in the form of a large worm, but catch him dead before he makes a boring appearance

Hey y’all! I have another kind of weird question for you. I’m weirdly feeling kind of homesick for like fast food chains from the west coast that aren’t on the east coast, and I’m especially missing being able to get decent like meat-and-rice bowls from a variety of places East coast/southern US people, do you have any recommendations for good chain restaurants* that are not available in California? (for people who weren’t here for my “oh no I’m moving how do I handle cold” posts, I moved from California to Tennessee last year) It does not have to be places with rice bowls, that’s just the main thing I’m missing. Well, that and good burritos?  *I do eat at small local places when I can, but I have uncommon allergies and it’s frequently easier for me to get an accurate ingredients list from a chain restaurant because they have a customer service division. Also it’s hard to get recommendations for local places without specifying exactly where I am lol

I will say there is a gift in being so enamored with the simplest meals. Egg yolks have 16% of the daily dose of iodine apparently so I've been denied a hot fried breakfast for the last month. I've always been one for simple farmers breakfasts but for the moment they're even more precious. God I'm a sap.

I successfully ignored how reliant i was on the bakery i worked at for like, my main caloric intake for the day, and now I'm having to relearn how to feed myself in a brand new city and it sucks

Ate the most yucky disgusting mango so far in my life but at least it made a pretty sweet smoothie :3

A tiny bit late on the bill and they cut the power, but it's okay cause it can get paid the same day they do that. And it was. But it was paid after 4:30pm which means they're closed. And the after-hours phone number just directs you to leave a voicemail. Completely useless.

So my apartment has been without power for 8 & 1/2 hours now, and will be for another 7 & 1/2 until they reopen at 8am. All because this power company closes for the day before anyone actually gets off work and gets home to see their power is out.

Welcome home! Sorry you're power's out. Oh, you can pay right now to fix that? Too bad we closed stupidly early. Suffer this evening and overnight too.

Versy absolutely ADORES attending witches' feasts, he comes across all kinds of foods there and he loves sampling anything he finds new to him.

Also in some cases, witches/warlocks that are into him will sometimes want to flirtatiously feed him, brush his hair and praise him while at these feasts, inflating his ego further. Needless to say he always brings these folks the best gifts each time they meet.
