Stay calm! In these moments when the people around us are alert, nervous, tense and perhaps with a great load of fear, the way we can contribute to improve things is by staying calm, being aware of living one day at a time, breathing and keeping our body relaxed... Fear and tension are generators of stress. Stress makes us vulnerable because it impairs our body's ability to defend itself against external and internal aggressions. Keeping calm we can maintain control over the biochemical processes that we generate with anxiety and tension, and above all, the thoughts that congest our mind. If we remain calm, we can discern correctly and avoid acting impulsively. Staying focused and calm helps us preserve our internal balance and relate to others and the environment in a safe and consistent way. 😊 Permanece en Calma!
