Mam olbrzymie zaległości czytelnicze, w związku z czym postanowiłam nagle rzucić się na nowości ;) Muszę jeszcze upolować „Cykle” od Psycholog na spektrum. Ale dziś w moje łapki wpadła „Zamaskowana. Z pamiętnika autystki” autorstwa Kasi Mazur. I jest to pozycja dosyć wyjątkowa, gdyż jest to komiks, a nie książka! O czym? Oczywiście o tym, jak to jest być autystyczną, późno zdiagnozowaną kobietą.

Zamierzam napisać moją dłuższą opinię na temat tego komiksu, więc poganiajcie mnie proszę, żebym zrobiła to w lutym, a nie za pół roku. A wy już czytaliście? Podobało się wam?

Someone needs to translate Spektrum into English cause it's such a good time travel story and it so quickly devolves into the most fucked up time travel scenarios imaginable and I need to share it with more people.

The first book is like "what if you traveled back in time and witnessed some guy's parent's death" which is pretty standard. Then the next book is like "what if you fell in love with a guy in the 60s but you live in the 2010s and he's your teacher now" which is pretty fucked up but not unheard of.

But then! Then the third book is like "what if your mom died in in the real life Boxing Day Tsunami and you watched her die and you've been haunted by her death for the last 7 years and we spend 400 pages examining and showing your trauma, and then you have to travel back to that event but you can't warn anyone that it's gonna happen and you can't save your mom because of the time stream and you have to watch couples on their honeymoon and families trying to run their hotel business and little kids making sandcastles and you know they're all gonna drown in an hour?? What then huh? What the fuck do you think about that you little bitch???"

And also you're a gay teenager in 2011. With superpowers that range from "generally helpful" (telepathy, telekinesis) to "extremely bad for everyone" (uncontrollable fire, uncontrollable wound transferal).

Jak wyglądają moje próby wstawania wcześniej:

1. Kładę się spać wcześniej.

2. Biorę melatoninę, bo bez tego nie zasnę.

3. Zasypiam.

4. Budzę się po 4-5 godzinach.

5. Środek nocy to idealny moment na odpalenie się stresu – myślenie o tym, jak bardzo sobie nie radzę, jak mam dużo do zrobienia i nie umiem, że muszę iść porozmawiać z nową osobą i zrobić nową rzecz, co jest oczywiście koszmarem, że nic mi nie wychodzi, że muszę zrobić badania, a jak je zrobię – to w nich na pewno coś wyjdzie i to będzie koniec mojego życia.

6. Jak już w którymś momencie uda mi się samą siebie uspokoić albo jestem tak zmęczona z niewyspania, że tracę przytomność i znowu zasypiam, to po godzinie dzwoni budzik.

7. Ja go oczywiście wyłączam, bo nie przespałam pół nocy i jestem nieprzytomna.

8. Leżę dalej w łóżku.

9. Wstaję znowu później.

I tak to się radośnie kręci. Pozostaje się oszukiwać, że któregoś dnia zrobię w końcu wszystkie te zaległe rzeczy i nie będę się miała czym stresować. I wtedy w końcu spłynie na mnie sen.
