IsaMegu Winter Stuff
I saw this post here today and I have been wanting to do some Shokugeki no Soma stuff again so here is what I came up with.
Who makes the other hot chocolate? Megumi is usually the default drink maker. She prefers to make tea but she changes it up in December.
Who listens to Christmas music way too early? Both usually wait until the songs are on the radio to actually listen to them but Isami is singing/ humming tunes all year.
Who is excited for trimming the Christmas Tree? (I had to look this up. Also means decorating the tree.) I don’t really see either of them go out of their way to do so but they decorate enough to look pretty. They get more into it when they have kids, though.
Who puts up the Christmas lights? Isami. Nothing too fancy, though. He puts the string lights on the balcony and every so often uses a projector light for the walls.
Who wants to go see the neighborhood Christmas lights? Both would rather go see lights than to put them up. They are fascinated by just how grand people can get with decorations.
Who bakes cookies? Isami. (I HC him as a pastry chef, after all.) He loves coming up with different recipes to give to people.
Who wraps the presents? Megumi. She thinks it’s calming and tends to wrap them so well and fancy that people are hesitant to open them.
Who hits up Black Friday sales? Neither. They do their shopping before BF or after to avoid the stress.
Who wants to build a snowman? Isami. Megumi has seen so much snow in her life so she doesn’t actively go out into it. But she still joins Isami, who is still awestruck about it. She even tells him if the snow is good for packing.
Who starts a snowball fight? Isami again. Megumi still has fun humoring him, though.
Who wants to cosy up to the fire? Both. One of them will drag the other to cuddle with them if they feel like a break is needed.
Who looks best in a jacket? It’s hard to say. Isami looks cooler with his hoodies but Megumi looks cuter in either her jackets or when she uses Isami’s hoodies.
Who wants to see the Christmas parade? Megumi. She settles for watching it on TV, though as she is usually moving around the house at the time it is on.
Who still believes in Santa? They both do. Isami likes to mention him more.
Who throws the Christmas party? They host together. Megumi is more the planner and Isami is the do-er like moving things around.
Who picks out matching ugly sweaters? They are instead gifted the ugly sweaters and wear them around only when the giftee is around/ for an event. Once all is done they take them off and shove them deep into a corner of the closet until it has been long enough to donate them.
Who makes homemade gifts? As cooks, their default gifts are foods that they made.
Who is the best gift giver? Megumi. She can read people easily and stores information on them when it comes up.
Who wants a kiss under the mistletoe? Isami. He loves sneak attacking Megumi with kisses and even carries a fake mistletoe with him as an excuse.
Who wants to go caroling? Isami. Megumi really doesn’t enjoy it so he goes with other people.
Who is bad at ice skating and keeps falling on their butt? Isami. But he is getting better each year.
I may do a SouTaku one later. Most likely.

Chibi drawing again with my most favourized Shokugeki canon x canon (platonic) ship. I know, so many people don't like the idea of shipping SouTaku but I felt the chemistry between them from the very beginning. From Takumi's side... It seems to be a bit more than simply rivarly, in my eyes.🤭

So Takumi's battle against Eizan in the Central Arc kinda made me think a bit about his weird dynamic with Mimasaka Subaru and like hear me out but they're probably really good friends at this point
Like imagine just after the Moon Banquet Arc Subaru kinda stops Takumi like 'hey how DID you manage to copy Yukihira Soma's movements so well on demand this took me like THREE days to master' and the easy answer is that Takumi's just crushing THAT hard on Soma that he absorbed more of Soma than he realizes but then Subaru just kinda assumes 'oh right they're RIVALS that makes sense I guess' and Takumi's gay panic subsides
But it's so effective that after he apologizes Subaru tells him afterwards about Eizan's plan during the Autumn Elections and Takumi gets SO PISSED but Subaru's like 'hey want me to teach you how to put your obsessiveness to good use' 'excuse me my WHAT'
And they stalk Eizan until the battle happens and Subaru's just crying proudly like 'that's my little stalking pogchamp'
Tl;dr Stalker king teaches gay Italian how to weaponize his obsessiveness to take revenge against a fuckfaced yakuza
