evidence that shows takumi aldini has a Mega Crush on yukihira souma
he thinks about and speaks of souma so often isami is used to it and can tell when he is thinking of souma
on the same note: he thinks about souma even on his outings with isami
he thinks about souma 24/7 in case you already cant tell
isami said in the novel (referring to takumi, obvs) “after all, I know that you really like yukihira!”
just thinking about/mentioning souma is enough to make him excited/roaring with passion, regardless of whether whatever souma is doing is related to him
he got flustered when souma unexpectedly showed up and patted him on the shoulder
he was talking about souma even when drunk
the polar star dorm is so used to him coming over they consider him a part of their dorm
in fact theyre so used to him nagging/worrying/scolding souma that they literally anticipate it
he got so super exhilarated when souma acknowledged him aka The Very Gay Moment:
in conclusion: takumi aldini is gay. he’s super fucking gay. he’s as straight as a rainbow. he’s Gay.
also, newsflash!! takumi can have a huge crush on souma and still aim to be his greatest cooking rival. these things aren’t mutually exclusive :))))

Takumi thinking abt Soma literally 24/7
Takumi going home and his childhood friend from Italy being like “Takumi, you’ve changed since you left for Japan. You used to act all cool and say, ‘I have no rivals’” and Takumi being all like wow I’m glad I went to Japan as he thinks fondly abt his boyfriend rival
Isami: “Whenever Nii-chan makes that face he’s usually thinking about Yukihira”
Soma being all *smirk smirk* as he hands Takumi a fundoshi to wear out in the fields with Isshiki
Soma taking photos of Takumi in a fundoshi (he says it’s for the dorm advertisments that they’re making but Soma was pretty darn enthusiastic abt taking those photos just sayin)
Takumi getting weirdly nervous abt having Soma in the kitchen when he makes everyone dinner and kicking him out “even though this is no different from when I cook at the Trattoria back home”
Soma tricking Takumi into eating some disgusting shit he made
Isshiki deliberately pairing Soma and Takumi together for bath time Isshiki senpai you are a true blessing

Takumi having a heartfelt convo with Soma in the bath and genuinely thanking him for the whole mezzaluna thing with Mimasaka
Soma: “Well in that case I’ve gotta give it back to you in a way you’ll be satisfied with.” like I’m pretty sure what Soma’s saying is that he’s gonna wait until Takumi’s ready to come to him with a shokugeki so basically this was like a SouTaku version of a scene in a movie where the hero has to go off on a journey alone and the heroine’s like ~I’ll wait for you however long it takes~ lmao
Soma snapping photos of Takumi as soon as they get out of the bath because that was his only chance
honestly this whole book was a goldmine of SouTaku and also Isami is a literal angel I’m so happy I read it I almost cried at the bath scene bc my ship is so beautiful and my son is so strong
