Hello. I wanted to ask for some thing soft and heart warming for assassins. These guys rarely get enough kindness. The life of an assassin is just too dark and full of violence for a human. They can hardly trust, hardly love, hardly enjoy the moment and worse ot all "They didn't even choose to live like that." They were just humans wanted to live but turned into killing machines is just... not fair. These guys(Altair, Ezio, Desmond) really need some one to take care of them after hard missions, heal their wounds, hear their words and help them get through all rough things ahead of them.
If you don't mind it would be perfect if you use the wild assassins that were some times behaving like animals. Use girlfriends, friends and boy friends or whatever that is better. And I think it would be much more exiting if Altair had joined Maria during her journey. That during a fight Altair lost his controll and even hurt Maria but she just calmed him down so he wouldn't get afraid to get close to people he loves.
Anyway I love you. I love your blog. Take care of yourself angle.
I know you wanted a Maria calming Altaïr version for this one but this idea just wanted to be written. I hope you still enjoy this:

Altaïr
The first time he held his son in his arms, he didn’t know what to do. He had never held a baby before and he looked so… fragile.
Altaïr had been afraid.
Afraid that he would hurt such an innocent small child.
Yet, Maria was patient with him, whispering softly to not wake the child.
Although Altaïr couldn’t help but think she was trying not to spook him instead.
He was warm.
And so small in his arms.
Altaïr couldn’t believe it, couldn’t even fathom the very idea that this was his son.
That this child was a gift, created with love that Altaïr never dreamed of ever having himself.
So when the child opened his eyes and stared at Altaïr with such curious trusting eyes…
Altaïr couldn’t help the tears that fell from his eyes.
He couldn’t help the way he leaned down, touched the baby’s forehead with his gently…
As he whispered…
“Hello, Darim.” His voice cracked as he continued, “I’m your father…”
And saying those clumsy awkward words…
Made everything feel real.
He was a father.
He had a son.
And, even as tears continued to fall from his eyes…
It was the happiest day of his life.

Ezio
Leonardo did not ask any questions, he simply opened the door to his workshop and guided Ezio to the small room with a bathtub with a gentle push. Ezio’s hands were still drenched in the blood of Uberto Alberti.
The rage had come to pass, leaving Ezio feeling… empty.
He needed to return to his mother and sister.
He needed to get them out of Firenze.
But…
His hands wouldn’t stop shaking.
“It’s alright, Ezio.” Leonardo whispered softly as he took Ezio’s hands, helping him take off…
Clothes that felt so big…
Clothes that didn’t even belong to him.
No.
It belonged to him now because…
Ezio’s breath hitched as Leonardo washed away the blood and sweat with water. Once the water ran clear, Leonardo guided him into the bathtub and Ezio’s muscles relaxed even though his mind stayed in that ever cycling limbo of alertness and numbness.
“Take your time, my friend.” Leonardo whispered as he patted Ezio’s shoulder, “The guards will not come here.”
Ezio nodded and closed his eyes, letting the water warm his body.
Just for a few minutes…
He’d stay here for just a few minutes…
Once the water is cool and the guards have stopped looking for him…
He will do as he must…
As an Auditore.

Ratonhnhaké:ton
The homestead was too quiet.
It had always been shrouded in silence but…
Now that Achilles was gone…
It had become too quiet.
“Connor!”
Ratonhnhaké:ton stepped out of the office where he was planning out the next convoys just in time to see the door open.
“Hello, Hunter.” Ratonhnhaké:ton greeted with a nod as the young child grinned at him, holding the door knob with both hands raised above his head.
A few feet outside, he could see Warren waving at him.
Ratonhnhaké:ton nodded at Warren before his attention was caught by Hunter, “Mother’s cooking looots of food for my birthday! You must come!”
Hunter gave him a grin that showed some of his teeth still missing as he asked, “Please? Pllleeeaassseee?”
Ratonhnhaké:ton chuckled as he nodded, “Of course. It would be an honor to celebrate this wonderful day with you.”
Hunter grabbed his hand with both of his hands and Ratonhnhaké:ton let the child drag him out of the silent manor.
A small smile appearing on his face as they walk towards the tavern instead of Warren and Prudence’s home.
The tavern was noisy, filled with the merry voices and music.
And Ratonhnhaké:ton chuckled when Maria, Ellen’s daughter, grabbed his other hand as she began to tell him about the feast everyone was making…
To celebrate Hunter’s birthday.
And when he got inside, Prudence wrapped her arms around him, thanking him once more for being there to help her.
And Ratonhnhaké:ton’s smile grew.
As the noises of merriment warmed his heart.

Desmond
“You’re gonna get a cold if you stay out like this.” Rebecca commented as she placed a blanket over Desmond’s shoulders. Desmond simply hummed as he kept his attention on the evening sky, littered with so many stars.
“You okay?” Rebecca asked softly as she sat next to Desmond.
The back garden of Villa Auditore wasn’t as maintained as it used to be but Rebecca couldn’t help but think it was just as beautiful as it was before.
“Yeah. Just…” Desmond looked at his hands, “Had an episode.”
“Oh.” Rebecca hesitated for a moment before she asked, “Want to talk about it?”
“I felt him.” Desmond said quietly, “Altaïr’s son…”
“Eh?”
“He was… so small.” Desmond dropped his hands and sighed as he looked up at the sky once more, “And… I felt Altaïr’s…”
“Happiness.” Desmond said so quietly that Rebecca almost didn’t hear him.
Desmond sighed as he admitted, “Sorry. Just… wanted to get some fresh air after that.”
“Don’t worry about.” Rebecca’s lips curved into a small smile as she said, “I told Lucy and Shaun that the Animus needed some time to update anyway. And…”
Rebecca leaned close as she whispered, “The update won’t finish until I type the code.”
Desmond turned to look at her as she leaned back, blinking with an unsure expression on his face. Rebecca’s smile became gentler and she patted Desmond’s back as she said, “So… take your time, Desmond.”
Desmond’s eyes briefly widened before he looked away.
He kept his eyes on the evening sky as he whispered, “Thanks…”
Rebecca simply patted his back once more and said nothing more.

What decision/ direction from the writers would absolutely disappoint you?
In your opinion what is the biggest trap they should avoid with the show?
Softening down the narrative. Remove the messiness and difficult character traits.
I guess.
But I don't think they will. On the contrary, I think they will put their proverbial fingers into allllll the wounds.
... maybe if they put too much a focus on the "flings" in the books.

Thank you for the thoughtful question. It's nice to think I have something to add, though I'm not sure it'll be helpful.
I think it's entirely natural to be protective of George. And he did veto it, and the Beatles were a democracy. Obviously that becomes complicated once half the band have passed on, and you could even ask, "what would Lennon think of 'Real Love'? or Anthology?"
For my money, it's almost too thorny a thing for me to feel I have a say in at all. Once someone has passed--indeed to some degree, once someone has put a creation out into the world--it's not entirely theirs to say. And Lennon and Harrison both have estates in the hands of others who are now in the business of making decisions for them. You can speculate about their motives, of course. Is it about the money? Or do they think maybe he'd have changed his mind, with the changes in technology or the mellowing of age? Would George have supported All Things Must Grass? Or were they thinking about the time he said he didn't care what happened to his songs after he died, do whatever you want (I am paraphrasing because I can't find the video at the moment)?
So I guess I'm in this middle ground of thinking, it's fine to think this isn't right and isn't ethical. I think you have a leg to stand on. On the other hand, I think it's also the decision of Olivia and Dhani and Yoko/Sean and Paul and Ringo. And I definitely understand, at their age, wanting this one last little bit of all four of them to go out into the world. I definitely feel that if any of it was actually constructed out of whole cloth it'd be a hard no from me. But as it is, I guess I feel both sides are defensible, and it's coming, and the decision now is whether to support it with your money/streams/attention or not.

Who were the big Klaine tumblr blogs back in 2013 when you joined? Have they all gone or become some other non Klaine blog?
This isn't really that easy of a question, Nonny, if I'm being honest. Are you looking for something in particular? Or merely just curious? It's strange to think that it's been ten years, and for the most part, I've forgotten a lot of the details.
I didn't do a whole lot of tumbling until the show was over -- before then I was mostly a lurker, and spent more time on the now defunct glee forum and on the klaine lj site, which you can still find but isn't functioning all that well.
I came and went from a lot of tumblr spaces around that time. There were people I followed because I enjoyed their takes on things. Outside of people who were popular because of their fanfic, I'm not sure I can point to one blog and say -- oh yeah, this was a BNF. Because we kept to our own little circles back then, you just kind of found a group and went with it. *shrugs*
I think nearly all of them have long since left tumblr, and most of their blogs have been deactivated. Of the few who are left -- all of them have a vastly different blogs and are unrecognizable as once glee blogs.
Where's @slayerkitty - maybe she can answer this better than I can.

Hello! It’s three days until a solar eclipse. Would Agua Caliente Pat and Achilles have plans?
The eclipse path of totality is nowhere near California, and I doubt they'd have much interest in traveling to Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, southern Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, or western New York in early April (or ever). West Coast people can be so attached to their precious coast.
However, the national park service does show which parks will be in the path of totality, and I guess I could see Patroclus using this as an excuse to visit one he hasn't seen before. The the Ozark riverway would be a good one, except it's not open yet. And if they did visit, it would be all mud. And ugly. So... scratch that. Why would they ever leave California? Do they even have smoothies in Missouri?
I think the better plan would be to wait for the eclipse in Spain in August 2026.

I'm sorry I didn't get to this sooner. I wanted to find a fic to actually recommend you, but the truth is that I have done very little reading after MoM and I cannot think of any fics that weren't flashbacks or different from the MCU because they were written pre-MoM. So I'm sadly throwing in the towel on this one.

idk but omg ive been brainrotting over an asoiaf/game of thrones and ac crossover. like assassins striking fear in the hearts of the targaryen dynasty ever since maegor the cruel was found dead alone on the throne. i feel like things wouldve been better if someone just thought to unalive mad king aerys. but would that mean so many terrible lords suddenly getting assassinated and their decendants peer pressured to be decent rulers unless they meet the same fate dfkgjhgfj

Here’s a “Desmond sorta adopts Dany and Vis” idea.
Here’s a “Desmond turns into a White Dragon during HOTD” idea and the continuation.
So, for this one, we’re going for the Brotherhood exists in the ‘verse of asoiaf, right? In that scenario, we can make the Brotherhood become a more ‘honorable’ off-shoot of Faceless Men. We’ll probably need to change the backgrounds of the characters but this would be set as the main characters of AC doing what they do best (and I kinda like the idea that Ezio is the son of a minor house that got fucked over by the Lannisters during the war of the five kings).
I kinda like the idea of Altaïr being the one to kill King Aerys and becoming the mentor of Ezio, Desmond and Ratonhnhaké:ton.
Maybe their backstory would be that the Mad King managed to purge most of the Assassins and Altaïr was one of the few survivors so killing him had been both to protect Westeros and to avenge the death of his brothers while he was still young.
So this would be more in the lines of a man that’s suddenly thrust into becoming a mentor of men not that much older than him.
As I have written before, Ezio would be the son of a fallen minor house that got trampled on by the Lannister during the start of the War of the Five Kings.
I think Ratonhnhaké:ton can be part of the Green Men.
While Desmond is a bastard of unknown origins who is actually also a survivor of the purge and found Altaïr after he had killed the Mad King. They were searching for other survivors of their Brotherhood when they saved Ezio and met Ratonhnhaké:ton who told them that he had dreamed of them.
So, in this situation, their Brotherhood continued the ‘fight’ during the War of the Five Kings but there’s only four of them so they can’t assassinate fast enough to stop all the tragedy that happens.
But…
The shadows they cast are slowly being heard by those who live.
Those being oppressed see them as hope.
And those who are in power… believe they will see their end soon.
But the longer they lived, the more lives they take, leaving behind a bloody feather as their ‘message’...
The more fear gripped those who remain.

Ezio’s habit of being friendly with nobles/people in power returns and this time he thinks allying with the Starks is a good idea. Thankfully for him, Robb Stark is more honorable than Lorenzo de' Medici. Unfortunately for him, Robb Stark is more honorable than the other lords in Westeros.
If you want Arya to be an Assassin, I would suggest Ratonhnhaké:ton being the one to find her. Your choice of when he finds her though.
Altaïr does not approve of Ezio becoming close with the Starks, only because the Brotherhood must remain in the shadows. This causes Ezio and Altaïr to butt heads that Desmond has to referee.
Desmond may or may not be a bastard of a high ranking noble. Who knows?
If you want Haytham to stand against them, may I suggest… Haytham being the lord of House Birch. The rumors are he’s adopted and not a true Birch but no one would say that to his face. Shay is his knight.
The other Assassins like Arno, Evie and Jacob? Uuummm… orphan children that Desmond sorta kinda adopted while Ratonhnhaké:ton was picking up a half-feral child and Altaïr was busy arguing with Ezio?
They all end up being Altaïr's responsibility XD

Hello! I don't know if this has been asked before or if you could direct me to the answer if it has been, but do you think they will be killing Claudia off in the show?
With the changes they have made, I am wondering your opinion if that is something they'd keep in, or if they'll save it for modern day? Or do you think they'll change her storyline completely?

Claudia will die. In Paris. Gruesomly.
She has to die, for a lot of reasons (and none of them have to do with the racial recasting, though of course this show will likely tap into that as well!). Here is a good post on some of the historical context of it and what it means for the show.
She has already been referred to in past tense on the show, too. And if she were alive Louis would not be sharing her diaries, he would be searching for her.
Her death is a major point in the books, a cataclysmic event, and it carries repercussions. Repercussions which would change the whole of the series if changed, and given what we know already, that is not going to happen.
So no. They won’t change that, imho.

Now that I think about it, what is your opinion on Taven?
I honestly don’t know him well enough to have an opinion on him. I have nothing against him, but he does absolutely nothing for me. I barely remember playing as him in Armageddon, hell I barely remember Armageddon at all. I have always been a Deception girl when it comes to the 3D games. I played Deception into the ground. I wouldn’t be opposed to seeing Taven return, I just I’m selfish and want the focus to be on the Lin Kuei. I realize we need kharacters in addition to the Lin Kuei but what with Rain not being a Demi-god anymore there doesn’t really seem to be a place for Taven in MK1? I guess they can still be related but with everything that seems to be changed who knows if they’re still half brothers or not? Maybe as a Kameo? I really don’t know, I know next to nothing about him, I just know he does not spark horny. Sorry lovely.
