okayyyy uh. dave went to private school for like. 4 years. he didnt follow any rules and wouldve definitly gotten expelled ljke 2 weeks in but bro strider is. so fucking rich so he just payed to keep him kn. he still had to wear those stupid ass uniforms tho and now he absolutely hates wearing polo shirts. fuckinf despises them.

sollux??? massive h*r fan he makes a shit ton of uber obscure references that like no one gets but him and he makes liek anyone hes ever had a positive interaction with watch it. aradia also likes it bc he made it like impossible not to if youre close enough to him. he kinda got terezi in2 it and she really likes trogdor.ike REALLY likes trogdor.

speaking of aradia and sollux aradias like a massive goth music fan and they listen to that stuff together like all the time. he listens to more,,, mainstream ig stuff regularly but then aradia makes him listen to her entire collection whenever theyre together

Jane can speak french,,, shes not french or anything in thr SLIGHTEST but she learned it bc like. idk desserts are french sometimes. and she just randomly starts speaking french to be annoying n fuck with ppl. roxys learned a little bit from her so sometimes she does too but. rarely.

terezi sollux and feferi friendship 🙏🙏 thsyre so. important to me. i dont remember how much they imteract all together in canom ik jts at least once but... theyre literally a version of the primary colors please thsyrs so friedn group that youd think would hate eachother but they surprisingly dont

jane crochets also alongside baking. she makes people shit like. all the time and probably spends way too much on yarn. she does it while watching all those dumb sitcoms??? whatever theyte called (like parks and rec and arrwsted development and the good place. that stuff). she also sometimes hamgs out with rose and they crochet/knit together

dirk and roxy make like the most shitpost stupid meme references (more often roxy) and like no one else gets them or rreally finds them funny bc theyre all from like. 2009. or ehatever while roxy n dirk are from. the future (i forgot when and no im not lokking jt up) roxy especially has like. dumb tumblr humor and will say the weirdest shit and no one will get it except dirk

feferi sends sollux videos like "t)(is reely reminds me of you ♥️" and then its a 5 minute jerma laighing at car crashes compilation or some shit.

dave makes that type of music that either sounds like actual shit or really good depending on the person. like uber expirimental fucked up random sfx dumbest lyrics ever etc etc (idk how to describe it but like. if uve listened to like.... queef jerkey thats what im imagining)

if were imagining that quest for the missing spoon exists in homestuck (since the comics do, plus theres other stuff like movies and plushes) dirk definityly had the pepsi blue chilis centerfold cutout on his wall. i also think him and maybe roxy??? quote that shit like not even on purpose CONSTANTLY since it was such a big franchise. also i think itd be funny if people talked ab it like how they talk ab harry potter and shit like "oh my god im SUCH a geromy."

aradia plays cello. like this absolutely fucking massive one too thats like deep reddish wood and its heavy as hell and it shouldnt be feesibly possible for her to carry it around but she can skmehos??? and shes really fucking good too. she likes 2 play for fer friends n partners

feferi adores tmbg esp their earlier stuff but she likes it all. shes got a playlist of every single one of their songs she could get ahold of and badically only listesns to that one playlist. she also knows a shit ton about the band itself and knows fun facts about like every song and will NOT hesitate to infodump whenever something slightly related comes up in conversation.

sollux LOVES classic tetris hes extremely fucking good at it and knows how to do all the weird shit w/ the controller like hypertapping and rolling and honestly probably made up something new. he basically only plays past killscreen (he found an nes somehow and hacked jt to let him start anywhere) and is the type of guy to be like "Oh yeah thii2 2hiit2 ea2y here II'll giive you a begiinner level two." and then. start you at level 29.

i have more i think but i cant remember any besides like "__ is a fan of "__ !!!!!" bc i just live projecting my interests onto characters. again sorry for so many words um. 💔

Hello again! I've actually written the down some of my "Jason and the Spraypaint 'Thief'" idea tho its mostly scaffolding and i dont feel ready to share it just yet, but progress is being made!

If I may ask for your advice once more, the story has begun leaning towards Anger Management vibes (thanks for that brainrot too (affectionate)), but i dont feel great that the genesis of Jason and Jazz meeting is after Jason basically stalks Jazz in his hunt for whoever is buying his spraypaint before he can. Like, she is the one buying the paint, but the dynamic feels too onesided atm in terms of agency, but idk what Jazz would be doing that could parallel Jason.

The best Ive got is she tried to find out who bought out the yarn she was knitting with (it was Jason being petty), but I dont think she'd care as much as Jason does with the paint and it also feels too samey.

...Just had this thought while writing this, would it vibe with Jazz's character if she kept tabs on the Batfam for Danny? Like in terms of location. Ive got it that Danny dosnt want anything to do with the Batfam atm, Gothem is their turf fighting-wise and he dosnt want to encroach on that (tho he does help people in need when he comes across them), he just wants to make cool art in weird places (and maybe some ghost king stuff, not sure on that just yet) (maybe as a coping mechanism bc I do like the angst that comes from 'Danny leaves Amity bc the Fentons reactly badly to him being a halfa', tho still not sure how he gets into spraypaint yet, that feels like an important detail), so Jazz keeps tabs on their patrols for Danny so he can spraypaint without drawing their attention, and then Jazz notices Red Hood acting a bit odd and does her own investigating to make sure its not ghost business (she would know that RH has ghost vibes from Danny and his current spraypaint investigating behaviour maybe looks like a ghost obsession without context), and maybe she ends up pulling a Tim and figures out Red Hood is Jason, just due to ghost vibes instead of acrobatics.

I havent even gotten to them actually meeting in my planning yey, its just discovery eachother from afar and general thoughts of 'thats the person Im looking for, they're kinda cute' so far. Current vauge idea is they meet in a fight, tho i might be biased bc i did recently reread 'cant help falling (in love with you)' (i think i said this before, but amazing story btw, eagerly waiting for the next chapter!)

I hope this makes sense. This is the first time I've had an idea I've wanted to share with other fandom people and felt comfy enough to do so.

I see what you mean about there being a power imbalance in their meeting situation - but we have to be aware that the source material is like that. Jason is a crime fighter and a vigilante and also a very extra boy. He is petty and arrogant and sometimes he is not above using his skills for personal use.

You can make it so she knows what's going on and leads him in a wild goose chase just for funsies. Make Jazz petty as well. Make her highly competent. Make her win in his own game and boom, no more power imbalance. (Also that can be a cool "I need to know more of this woman" kind of situation.)

Another alternative, is making her think he is stalking her for unsavory purposes and beat the shit out of him.

I like what you said about Jazz being the one that keep tabs on all the vigilantes. She could have profiled them all, studied their patterns, and Tim Drake her way into memorizing their patrol routes so Danny can paint in peace.

So that's why when her new stalker starts bothering her, she is so Done(tm) that she is not afraid to gatekeep, gaslight, girlboss her way into making him stop.

How she does it? Dealer's choice.

(I'm weak to the fight approach, if it wasn't obvious (✿◡‿◡) )

(But outsmarting him could work as well.)

(Jason is into women that can kick his ass, be it physically or in smarts)

So in conclusion I think if you want to not fall into icky power imbalances and not fall into highly competent Mary Sues tropes, the sweet spot would be Jazz making the choice to take act or not, and base it on actual conflict: If she can't just beat the shit out of him, explain why. If she is not going to make a deal out of it, explain why. Make the character have agency and a choice in the matter, even if that choice is inaction.

So basically I'm not the greatest example of a Christian :/ I watch porn, I thoroughly enjoy it too (I have to be honest people), even discovered some kinks like degradation and wearing a devil mask (LIKE BRUH WHAAATTT BUT ITS NOT THE DEVIL MASK ITSELF ITS THE SCARY MASK THAT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE A PRIMAL SEX ANIMAL ABOUT TO FEAST ON A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IN ALL THE RIGHT WAYS) and I look into astrology (for about over 7 years. Astrology is a bottomless pit of wonder but it can get toxic for me bc I use it way too seriously like an actual fortune teller or something, even to give me a self esteem boost, it's actually shameful imo bc I'm a Christian and that's suppose to be matter more) even tarot and I take that serious too a little too serious and mind you there are disclaimers that say astrology and tarot is for entertainment purposes and not a replacement for therapy, a visit to the doctor, medication, etc and to take it all with a grain of salt since it is usually a general reading and not specific to any individual... YET I DO. So this is why I'm not the greatest example of one, and there's really nothing I feel like I can do sometimes. I can limit porn but I always come back to it. The longest I've gone with no porn is 6 days about 3 years ago. It doesn't seem that hard to give up tho bc during those days I had something to do every single day since I was in Hawaii at that time having fun. So that's probably the way out of porn. Having other stuff to do and not being alone for too long before I get bored. So I have hope for that but now that I'm in my home city it's pretty plain and boring. And astrology and tarot make my boring moments a little interesting and fun gives me something for my brain to play with like giving a cat a ball of yarn. So yeah. That's what makes me believe I'm not the greatest example of a Christian. I know it's not about being the greatest and it's not a competition and I'm not treating it like one in case it sounds like I do, but I feel like my standards for myself as a Christian should be a little higher than it is. I should at least get rid of one of the 3. And the easiest would probably be astrology and tarot. Porn is different. I truly think im addicted. So help me God.

so i!!! have started!!! to crochet again!!!!!! lil context ive been crocheting on n off since i was like? 8 probs but ive never been able to stick w it or even finish a project or anything.. until like?? sometime in the middle of last week i got the random urge to crochet?? so i dug thru all my shit but i couldn't find a single crochet hook HOWEVER my best friend was so very kind and gave me one of its extras :3

this has now kinda .spiraled into smt that might kinda fuck me up LMAO so i started one of those lil cat beanies for the friend that gave me a crochet hook last night n i finished it this morning ..ive never finished a project before howd i do it in less than 24 hours? actually its probs bc i put on mumbos s7 n now i refuse to watch it unless im crocheting

WAIT I FORGOT TO SAY i need to give you an update on my jake jacket 😌 ok so on saturday my yarn arrived. and the texture and look of it was sooo perfect. until i started crocheting w it. w the black thread too. and it turns out that the yarn is just way too fluffy that it hides pretty much all the thread. so i did lots of experimenting and i switched out the thread for embroidery thread. and it def showed up better but sometimes it looked a little thick. and then i shopped for embroidery thread cuz no way i have enough. and yeah its way out of my price range :’> sooo i bought lots of black thread and what im doing is layering it a bunch so that basically i have at least 8 pieces of black thread at once while i make the jacket if that makes sense? and so its basically embroidery thread for a much cheaper price. but its quite time consuming,, esp when the thread gets all tangled !!! 😠 but the things you have to do when you’re on a budget 🥹👍🏻 alsooo since the yarn is so fluffy,, you can’t even see the stitches 😭 like it’ll just look like a fluffy white panel, no shapes of the stitches at all 😭 which obv also makes it harder to crochet. so what i did was i swapped over to knitting it djdjdj and that is much easier. luckily you can’t even tell im not super good at knitting since you can’t even see the stitches anyways :D sjsjjs for the ribbing tho i found that the ribbed effect was most apparent w crochet. so i’ll crochet the ribbed parts and just knit the rest 😭 but yeah it’s not rlly looking like jake’s but it’s somewhat close so im pretty satisfied 😭

helo beloved mutual connor, im sorry ur goin thru it rn but i come bearing asks n a heart emoji (💗): bcuz i have had this thought floatin around for a lil bit, wld love 2 hear ur takes on an Adam/Eric/Mallick (+ Art too if u want!) road trip vacation! how long wld they go, do they get motels or camp or just sleep in th car? whats everyone's favorite road trip snack? what sorta shit do they like 2 stop for? (weird tourist traps like giant balls of yarn etc, small town main street stores, cool looking restaurants, nature sites, Actual Destinations, so on n so forth!)

ohhh I love tht idea!! road trip fics/hcs are one of my weaknesses,,

but um!! I rly like the idea of th four of them going camping a few hours up north!! (we... don't rly know where. SAW is set so just. imagine a vaguely rural campground lmao. I'm used to camping in th upper peninsula of MI so) it's smth tht Art did a lot w his family when he was growing up, so he's th most familiar w it - Eric went a few times as a kid too, Mallick went Once, n Adam has never rly been camping, w his family or otherwise (he's slept on a trampoline at one of his friends' houses once tho). Art is p excited abt it tbh, it's not exactly smth he gets 2 do often so he's got this whole list planned of things he wants 2 show them!!

it's easiest 2 just take a week in late August, bc they can head back home on a Friday n have the weekend to settle n readjust b4 th coming week + they have to go back 2 work. so they head out around ten on a Monday morning 2 kind of get ahead of th traffic (or at least try to). Art drives both bc he insists and bc he knows they can switch if he needs to, which he does later w Eric. it's a good couple hours (at least 3) b4 they get 2 th campground Art wants to take them to, so clearly it is Music Time + Adam made sure 2 bring CDs! a lot of that time is just spent vibing 2 th music and singing very, very loudly (ESP on Adam + Mallick's end). Art's up front like u three are so fucking goofy (affectionate), but eventually he starts singing too lmao.

Mallick starts th Colour Game, where they try 2 find a car fr every colour of th rainbow. it's smth Eric is familiar w as well bc he used 2 play it w Daniel sometimes, and it's good until they come to purple bc how often do u see purple cars??? so Adam's just like "we're not gonna find pink either" n tht's when this fucking pink pickup truck (noticeably spray-painted, + not done well) passes them n Adam just groans n thumps his head against th window. Mallick is like, trying rly hard not to laugh by pressing a hand over his mouth + Art is biting his lip, but Eric is very openly cackling bc "u see what happens when u assume???" (he gets a very light slap 2 th shoulder but it's still very gentle)

ANYWAY. favourite snacks!! Adam can eat Way Too Many Sour Patch Kids. sour anything, actually, as long as it's candy. yes his tongue hurts and no he doesn't regret it. Eric just gets goldfish bc he tends 2 get a lil carsick + bc it's a food tht's familiar n comforting, n he doesn't rly want 2 be eating anything Too heavy (he's up front w Art, so he can sit by a window in case he needs some fresh air at any point). Mallick likes m&m's, but he switches fr cheez-its every once in a while bc he can only eat so much chocolate. Art likes those peanut-butter filled pretzel bites! he's also partial 2 animal crackers tho. they also bring a good amount of snacks/things they can b sure th four of them like, bc yeah there's a lil store abt a half hour away frm their campsite + they can go there to pick up things if they need 2, but it's easier 2 bring things they like, too. (there's also a mcdonald's in tht town n. they do go there at LEAST twice.)

th campsite they stay at has a lake + a beach, n one of Art + Adam's fave things 2 do is walk along it to see if they can find anything interesting! Mallick goes sometimes too, but mostly he stays w Eric bc Eric can't do tht fr as long as Adam + Art can (not tht he's resentful of it tho). he n Mallick chill on th beach w a blanket (it's kind of like. not necessarily sandy?) n just kinda sit against/lay on each other n read sometimes. Adam + Art come back 2 where they're set up to find them sleeping n Adam has never been more thankful he thought 2 bring his camera!!

on th second day Art + Mallick want 2 go swimming, so th four of them come back out to th beach, but Adam stays out of th water + Eric stays w him. they both know th water will be cold, even if it's late summer, n Adam rly doesn't like being in cold water ESP if it's over his head/he can't touch th bottom. fr Eric th cold can b kind of painful, so they chill n walk along th beach fr a little bit n just talk. Adam gets some good pictures n even gets some of Eric! he also does take a selfie of them, he can't help it. he gets a couple of Mallick + Art too. it's honestly such a nice thing fr them n it just feels like they can breathe easy, not having 2 worry abt looking over their shoulders constantly (tho they're all getting better abt that).

th third day they spend around th campsite to kind of unwind n relax. they might walk th beach a little bit again, but mostly they just sorta chill n walk some of th trails around the campground itself. when night falls they light a small bonfire (Mallick is still iffy around fire, understandably) n they sit around it in their folding chairs w th cupholders (Adam gets red, Eric has green, Art gets blue, + Mallick gets dark green) n make s'mores. they talk abt anything n everything until they're barely able 2 keep their eyes open, n then after making sure th fire is pretty much out they kinda just stumble into th tent n none of them r awake for very long after (they specifically got one tht cld comfortably hold th four of them).

fourth day!! they pack up n head into another little town about 45 minutes away; it's bigger than th one around th campgrounds. after they get situated in a motel room w two beds, they do some window shopping + going into lil stores that interest them! Adam def buys some niche graphic tees tht aren't going 2 make sense to anyone other than th four of them n he's delighted abt it. I like 2 think Eric gets a worry stone, specifically made out of rose quartz. Mallick too, but his is made of amethyst! he also gets a rly cool multicoloured jacket in a thrift store they duck into. Art gets a hoodie w th town's name on it n he's pretty happy w that. they get a few more lil things, just little knick-knacks while they're there, n then they have dinner in this lil diner they'd walked past earlier bc it's inexpensive + the atmosphere is very lowkey n honestly just Nice. there's not a bunch of ppl, the servers r rly kind n the lights aren't too bright, which Eric rly appreciates. it's such a tender moment bc they're squeezed into a booth, Adam + Mallick on one side n Art + Eric on th other, n they're talking n laughing n stealing bites of each other's food n it's Comfortable.

then they head back to th motel n channel surf while unpacking enough 2 get to their sleep clothes. Adam + Eric r sharing a bed n Art + Mallick r sharing th other one, tho Adam is very tempted 2 just push them together so they're all close by (th distance btwn th beds isn't tht big to begin with, but it's the principle of th thing). mostly tho, until they go to bed, they're pretty much just all stretched out Everywhere. Adam is only discouraged frm jumping across th divide btwn th beds bc Art breaks out his Lawyer Voice, despite trying rly hard not to laugh, to say Yr Going To Hurt Yrself, Don't Do That. he grumbles n whines abt it but Adam knows he's right jdhjks (th way he sees it is like. he can b silly sometimes. he's Earned It, but he also trusts Art + wasn't super serious abt tht idea). eventually tho Eric can hardly keep his eyes open n Mallick is just straight up asleep while he's still sitting up so tht's when they all go to bed after making sure every1 is comfortable. they leave a lamp on.

fifth day they pack everything up again n stop 2 walk th trails of this lil park b4 they head home! there's a lil shop near th parking lot so they spend a lil bit of time looking around in there first. they probably pick up a few lil things, souvenirs, n Adam walks around 2 get some pictures. he gets this rly cool one while they're on a bridge, th sun peeking thru the clouds a lil bit n shining down on th water. he's super excited to develop tht one (but he's excited to develop All of them, bc this is his family!!!) + he n Art discuss whether or not they're gonna need another cork board lol. eventually tho they round back to th parking lot n on th way home, they stop at another lil hole-in-th-wall kind of place, but it's just as nice as the first one they'd been to. after tht Eric switches spots w Art n he drives them home!!

they're all exhausted when they get back but they have room to crash w each other while they nap so tht's what they do. they fall asleep all tangled together, Art stretched out w Eric's head on his chest, Adam curled against Eric's back, n Mallick w his head on Art's stomach. there r arms n legs everywhere n tht is okay. they're happy. they love each other. they had a lot of fun on their trip n they're tired, but they're comfortable!! tht's what it's all abt!!! it's just such a good n relaxing experience fr them after all th shit they've been thru.

if i’m going to be a bitch and just get plain coffee, i’m gonna get it black bc otherwise i’ll just have a white mocha or a cappuccino or something (the ppl at the campus coffeeshop know who i am. they know my order. “one sin-ful latte coming up!” thank u for fueling my Addition.) i take my tea with milk and sugar if it’s black tea ((earl gray)) or with honey if it’s green tea. if it’s white tea i’ll sometimes have it with sugar, and if it’s something like peppermint or lavender or chamomile i’ll just have it plain. my friend and i were driving around evERYWHRE basically, we went from pasadena/san marino to like. hollywood all the way to beverly hills and back and it was wonderful, we stopped 3 times to chase stray cats, take shitty pictures, go to iHop, and almost died several times bc hE SNAPS AND DRIVES at NIGHT on LA FREEWAYS

bunny the stuffed bunny! she’s pretty large, like as long as my torso! she’s white fabric with colored fluffy bits and very floppy, loose ears. she has green button eyes that i had my grandma sew on bc otherwise she actually scared me a bit when i was a kid, but i loved her anyway bc my great-grandmother sewed her for me in the first place. bunny still lives on my bed at home!

yeeeeeeS i have several! the bistro, which is on campus: it’s so comfortable, it has couches everywhere and board games and so many books and zines and the walls are half chalkboard so there’s always art or snark everywhere. the music is super eclectic (it was lorde yesterday, today when i went in it was old-school 90s rap), plus it’s student run so the coffee and pastries and food are SO GOOD. the archive, which is downtown, is really boujee as fuck but it’s SO COOL. it’s so fucking aesthetic, with brown leather stools and uncomfortable booths and vintage books and stuff everywhere. for half the day, it’s a coffeeshop, and after 7, it becomes a bar. then back home, of course, coffee bean and tea leaf is the classic

my girlfriend is so sweet she’s so delighted by small and unique and odd things. she’s like a birds nest high up in a tree she’s very daydreamy in the clouds, made of bits of yarn and curls and twigs and paper. her art is so nice and feels alive and i can always see her little smirk and goofy laugh when she draws the faces. she likes when i do the dumbest things and it makes me feel safer to be as dumb as i want i think when she dies her spirit will live in some sort of outdoor flea market with trees and you can hear her cackling kindly and see a phantom finger drawing faces in the dirt i feel so safe and cared for in this relationship i’ve never felt that aspect ,, it reminds me to care more and be gentler and softer with her and it’s worked its way into my everyday feelings and interactions i love the feeling of having someone who will treat me very carefully if i need and i can return the gentleness without fear of vulnerability. very few people seem to like and accept all my facets but she pulls it off,, we talk abt pussy and titty and wrapping up in blankets and taking baths and poking and being so dumb n goofy it makes my teeth hurt sometimes my chest hurts so much from thinking about us there’s something fate-y about her and me and i know i know i know nothing is for sure nobody knows that better than i do ,,, but it’s good to have fun anyway and thats what our entire relationship has been based on: having fun even tho we don’t know how it’ll turn out bc neither of us are very good at being sure but , even without the certainty im happy. it’s all about why not if she makes me so happy then why not be with her even though there’s distance issues basically: good outweighs the bad. good is pictures of her and her art and the way she tags pictures of animals and the nicknames she gives me and her voice that i couldn’t stop thinking about once i heard it the first time when we said we would just be friends i sent her a snap with the text very very small i needed to tell her “i never would’ve guessed how lovely your voice is before i heard it” she’s so full of warmth and fun and she gets sad and i just want to hold her in my palms like a very small mouse and rub her head

Sleepless and lonely.

Late nights, early mornings, and an inability to fsking sleep. I got some new yarns recently. Lots of soft, fluffy delicate textures I'm looking forward to rolling, similar colours, and multiples of the same colours. Tentative weekend plans! I'm laying in bed, staring at my ceiling, phone, and hands, admiring one thumb, because, frankly, its the nicest nail I've ever had, professional manicures notwithstanding, and I just... I'm still so tired. I'm trying to make it all work. Bills, pets, hobbies, sleep, work, friends, relationship, and I feel like all the balls ive got floating around are all gonna sink, or float away because I'm just barely treading water. Someone told me today, that what I'm feeling, and how I'm feeling are legitimate, and that its ok to feel the way I do. They didnt push the way i felt aside, or minimise it, though, they were relentlessly positive. I'm still moving forward, even if I perceive myself to be weighted down by all the things I think are failures, and thats ok too. At least I tried. They were proud of me for even looking for a second job, much less applying for one. But, I kind of feel like I shouldn't need a second job, that I should have chosen better with the first job I've had here. Ive worked for almost a full year, come September, and, I'm still down to about 1.85$usd before every paycheck comes. I save, clearly, because emergencies sneak up on you and blindside you on a Tuesday out of the blue, but... It still doesn't feel like its enough. I'm worried, because I'm going to miss out on a lot of my sons life, just trying to keep a roof overhead.

I worry a lot about my cats. One keeps trying to eat plastic, and coughing when he does get into the trash, im scared my lil black melon cat is going to resent me bc I keep shutting her out of the bathroom when I go, and I'm not home enough to play, and i dont have the energy to play, properly, with any of them, and my other cat barely comes out of the closet to get petted, and im worried shes not getting enough food bc of the fat garbage kitty who likes to eat plastic. Theyre not shedding much, but, it may be bc I brushed them 2 days ago. I want to get them a new water fountain and a new tower, maybe another lil hidey spot I can put in the closet for my hide-a-cat. None of these cats will lay and just snuggle with me like I want. Just another reminder, I guess, that if I had the ability to share immortality with anyone, I would have shared it with my previous cat. You know, getting another pet, was sold to me as a sort of cure for the loss of a pet, but, I dont think ive really processed his loss yet. I spent, like half my current life with him, and he was my best friend, and most treasured person, and I miss him, every day. Maybe i just need to set down, with some tea, a box of good tissues, and a soft blanket and a nicer pillow, and just have a good cry and let it all out. God theres so much to let out tho.

Id much rather sleep than cry. At least when im asleep, sometimes I have interesting dreams. Most of those dreams make me wildly unhappy when I wake up, because I think, my brain is trying to create a feeling I dont really get when I'm awake, but when I'm asleep, I'm happy. Like, peacefully, warmly content. I smile more in my dreams than I do while awake. I dont know how I'm going to fit sleep in if I get a second job. Thats honestly like, top 3 concerns. My kid, sleep, and, would be able to keep that job long enough to make it out of grunt/drone status? I dont like feeling like I'm not good enough at my job that id get fired at any minute. 90% of the jobs I can get are at will employment. Meaning they dont need a reason, not really, to fire me. I'm scared my managers think I'm annoying, because the big manager, seems to be frustrated with me a lot, and i cant figute out if its because I'm obnoxious, or its because I cant live up to the impossible standards corporate sets, even though I'm literally running through the store like my ass is on fire, taking care of a half dozen things, all at once. I want to do a good job, at my job, because, I honestly like what I do. Its interesting, just enough variety I'm not likely to be truly bored, and just enough stability that if i wanted, I could literally work in the same store, doing the same thing, for the next decade. But, I dont want to do the exact same thing for the foreseeable future. I mean, yeah I don't wanna quit, and id like to move up to management, but, yet again, feeling like a failure creeps in, and smacks me upside the head and yells "if you cant do this, what the shit makes you thing you could do management???" Several people tho, at work, have told me, they would like me to be management, because they think id be good at it. I might. I can handle a lotta shit, all at once, ive had to figure out how to manage 15 things at the same time because, wouldnt you know it, thats how my brain operates. Still cant find the tab with the music on though, id really like to change the song.

Wow, ive been typing for a solid half hour. I think, thats enough word vomit into the void. I'm kind of tired after all that. No resolution yet, because, you cant really resolve anything at like 3 am. But, I will take my friends suggestion, and keep going, making note of where ive been, and trying, really, really hard to keep where id like to be, in mind.
