there's a little bit of magic falling in love with lyney. every day he has a new trick to show you—a sprig of baby's breath miraculously tucked into your collar before you head out the door, an elegant watch magicked onto your wrist right before your disbelieving eyes. When you ask him what his secrets are, Lyney just laughs, like a bell in the light spring breeze, and kneels down to kiss your hand. "A magician has to keep some of his secrets, my love! After all, you already know a fair few of them." Oh, what a tease—just as silver tongued and charming as the first time you met. “Aw- please, Lyney, don’t you trust me with your truths?” You half smile and half pout, arranging your features into your best pleading expression, and you can see your great magician giving in. 

"Ah, alright," and he's tapping his chin in mock thought, eyes twinkling, "since you asked so nicely, I suppose I can show you a couple more tricks, as an apology for my insincerity." Lyney winks, his serious act dropping in a flash, and you laugh as he pulls you towards the plush velvet couch. After he’s sure you’re comfortable, Lyney grows serious again, and you know the real show has begun. He pulls chocolates out of prop cards, bouquets from his hat, and, at your request, promises to pluck the stars from the sky to decorate your dreams, as a reminder of his love. His breezy solemnity makes you laugh, but you wouldn’t doubt Lyney’s word. It’s so easy to love him, and almost as easy to believe his magician’s world of dazzling stunts and marvelous tricks. But underneath all his glamorous charm and beyond the brilliant light of his performances, the hand that holds yours is quite warm, quite solid, and quite real. So too is his quiet admiration when you talk excitedly about your passions, and his eagerness to learn about your world. When you're together, there are no facades obscuring his earnest fondness for you—it’s one of the few truths of Lyney’s life. He hasn’t yet told you many things, but you don’t seem to mind as much as he expected. Smart as you are, you’ve already guessed at some of his secrets, yet you still place in him all your faith, all of your affection. i keep going back and forth because on the one hand, i feel like gortash should be in his 40s. but on the other i keep noticing the text calling him young, so maybe he's supposed to be in his 30s? but then whenever he's called young it usually seems like it's in comparison to whoever he's with (a "younger man" than ketheric, a "young man" compared to gut, called "young gortash" by balthazar). according to karlach he also looks basically the same as he did 10 years ago so he could be in his 30s and just aged early or he could be in his 40s or older and just not changed much between then and now. hm

Her family has suspicions, they’ve always known there was something special about Wednesday, even for an Addams, but they’ve never thought to investigate too hard. After all, whatever it is will come out eventually, and they will love her just the same when it does. And if Fester recalls a section of a curious little book he read once upon a time, that’s stuck in his mind where all else has been forgotten, who can say why.

In the aftermath of Crackstone, Wednesday finds herself unsettled. There is a sense of wrongness, like a word on the tip of her tongue that never reveals itself, everything appears to have shifted slightly to the left, and nobody but her can tell. Wednesday hasn’t felt like herself since she stumbled from the school gates and was bowled over by a pink blur. Somehow, having Enid in her arms had felt right, and leaving them wrong.

Her world has turned upside down.

Wednesday has always been quiet, she thrives in the silence, but since she’s been home it remains just a little too quiet. It’s too easy to forget she’s home at all, her family finds. She no longer shies away from their contact, not from acceptance, oh no, she doesn’t even acknowledge it at all. Sometimes they will speak to her and it’s like she is a thousand miles away, unseeing, unhearing.

A rare moment of presentness has Morticia teasing her, perhaps her mind is with someone else, perhaps emotions are involved. No. Emotions are not the cause of this haunting in her mind, Wednesday knows. She had already come to terms with having developed feelings: chastisement for Xavier, protection for Eugene, respect for Bianca, and don’t even get her started on the affection for her roommate. No, Wednesday can recognise those, and has them locked away, so what is this consuming her?

i'm watching a new let's play of drv3 and god i need to emphasize how much i am Obsessed with the casino bonus scene and the insect meet and greet. the comedic timing in this game is perfect. they did the casino scene and then right to korekiyo's second free time event and then the bugs i'm having a good chortle over here

checked line play notices and saw its actually closing in february within EU :( i still think i would be able to get in somehow (maybe vpn) but i guess that will be it? its so weird now how theyre giving out stuff and putting up all past gachas when its not even worth getting stuff anymore. as for the new ones i believe those were planned so they will roll out new ones until the end... but it just feels sad seeing the stuff.. why give me so many free tickets when it doesnt matter in 2 weeks

nope lol i just did lunch with my parents. hung out a little bit with my roommate's friends at the end of the evening but i really avoided the actual party she'd had over this evening cause i was already worn out

i mean i'm seeing another orchestra concert and la boheme next friday but those aren't really grad related those are just generally for fun. just getting back to Real World Adult Things now (groceries. car stuff. library. trying to get a job. etc)

People put all their stuff in december. Christmas is in december. That's all I can handle!! Why is everything else Also in december????
