there's this post that I've been seeing making the rounds about saki and. I fundamentally disagree with the point of it. saki doesn't suffer from hiding her emotions, or not being blatant about her misery at all, nor is she keeping a happy facade for leoni's sake.

onto the first point, about saki "hiding her emotions". this is the girl who says out of pocket gay stuff on the regular. she has virtually next to no filter. girl what are you waffling about (affectionate)

the only reason why it seems like she never told anyone about her misery in her middle school years is that she straight up forgot. while shiho remembers every bit of her torment nexus in middle school, saki didn't even remember it at all until she rediscovered her own journal in no seek no find. and even then, she didn't try to hide the feelings she felt back then. she expressed them through her music, and had ichika look at the diary for references for her lyrics.

next point about her being happy for leoni's sake. they would know and pick up on it so easily. next.

ok ok that aside, if we look at the flashback in nsnf, not once does saki mention hating her friends at all for not visiting her more. the only thing she really hated was her illness. if it weren't for her illness, she wouldn't be in the hospital in the first place, and wouldn't be such a burden on her family. if it weren't for her illness, she would be at miyajou with the others and creating memories with them.

either way, just like how it is with the rest of leoni, they all care about each other so much that they would rather blame THEMSELVES for what went wrong as opposed to blaming the others

🚨 Students at Harvard University launched an encampment in support of Gaza in Harvard Yard moments ago, calling for an end to Harvard's moral and material complicity in the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people.

Harvard has invested over $200 million of its over $51 billion endowment in companies with ties to zionist settlements in the West Bank, while most of its investments to the zionist entity are kept secret.

The students are demanding financial transparency regarding investments related to the zionist entity, as well as genocide and occupation in Palestine; divestment from these investments and reinvestment in Palestine; and dropping all charges against student activists.

The University has suppressed student voices in support of Palestine time and time again, suspending the Palestine Solidarity Committee just this week on baseless grounds. They have also enabled attacks on pro-Palestinian students from the media and politicians. Today, the students say enough is enough, and that they will no longer tolerate their institution's support for genocide.

This brings the number of ongoing encampments to 19, with more to come.
