I can't lose when I'm with you

If you were to ask her siblings, Y/N was never to be disturbed while she was sleeping. It was like signing a death warrant to wake her. Her beauty and skincare routine required at least ten hours of sleep. However, the one person she would break the routine for was Roy Harper.

There was something about him that made Y/N crave more. They had spent hours on hours just talking. She didn't care about how late they stayed up or what they talked about but she loved spending every moment possible with him.

How can I snooze and miss the moment?

"Do you ever think it's kind of funny how we ended up together?" Roy asked as he and Y/N lay on their bed. It was particularly late and Roy had just gotten back from a mission. He rested his head on Y/N's shoulder and hugged her closely.

"What do you mean?" Y/N responded, not fully grasping the question.

"I mean you're like a model, socialite, billionaire heiress and I'm recovering drug addict vigilante with a kid," Their relationship had made Roy insecure several times. He knew that she loved him and that should've been enough but sometimes it felt like he was competing with the world.

"Technically, that makes you a DILF," Y/N joked while nudging Roy's head with her shoulder.

"Very funny," Roy replied.

"On a serious note, I wouldn't trade you or Lian for the world," She said leaning in for a kiss.

"Y/N?" Bruce asked as Y/N was packing up her childhood room in the manor. Sure the bedspread, rug, and curtains were still there but everything that had made it Y/N's room was gone now.

"Yeah, Dad," She responded while looking through an old photo album.

"I just want to know how serious this thing with you and Roy is. I figured that you two crushes on each other as kids but I didn't know that..." If there was an award for being bad about conversing with your own children, Bruce would be the defending champion.

"We'd actually start dating?" Y/N tried to fill in the blanks in the conversation.

"Yes but not in a bad way," Bruce really should come with subtitles of what he means to say when he speaks. Perhaps, then he would be able to converse with his children without hurting their feelings.

"I've dated my fair share of people. Like a lot of people, it's what the tabloids say we have in common, but Roy is the one person I keep coming back to and I don't know why." Y/N explained to the best of her ability.

"You love him," Bruce realized.

"I do,"

Nobody do body like you do

Roy had Y/N pinned against the door as he kissed her neck. Y/N was sure that she would combust at any moment. Roy knew exactly where to touch, where to kiss, and what to say to get her excited.

"You gotta be quiet, I just put Lian down for a nap," Roy whispered as Y/N let out a particularly loud moan.

"It's hard to be quiet when you do that," She whined as they moved to the bed with Roy on top. His hair fell just over his eyes but even then, Y/N could feel his gaze on her.

"I know, that's the best part," Roy Harper was nothing, if not a tease. Roy smirked as he headed further south. Kissing her hips and waist, Roy made Y/N feel loved. He knew plenty of people wanted her for the physical but he wanted her to feel cherished in the intimates with him.

"Are you gonna leave me?" Y/N asked. She hated getting attached to those that she dated because when they broke up, she was always the problem.

"Why would you think that?" Roy asked walking out of the bathroom with his toothbrush still in hand.

"I'm a lot. I'm spoiled, high maintenance, a bit of a hoe, and my brothers want to kill you when we hold hands in public," She listed out a few of the reasons why people broke up with her before.

"Yeah, but I knew what loving you was signing me up for," Roy said with a dopey smile and Y/N could only hug him in response.

I can't just snooze and miss the

moment

"I like us like this," Y/N whispered as they watched Brandy's Cinderella with Lian. Lian sat in between them on the couch while holding the popcorn.

"Like what?" Roy whispered back, his eyes leaving the TV screen.

"You, me, Lian. Our little family," Y/N responded with a smile.

"Hushhhhhh," Lian through popcorn at the both of them.

"Oh, I'm sorry," Y/N said eating some of the popcorn that was thrown at her.

"We should get married," Y/N spoke randomly on one Friday afternoon. They weren't doing anything special. Roy was making them sandwiches for lunch and she thought at that moment there was nowhere that she would rather be than with him.

"Yeah, I brought the ring already," Roy said nonchalantly while looking for potato chips.

"Wait, are you serious?" Y/N asked while taking a bite of her sandwich.

"Asked your dad and stuff, too. I even got advice from Oliver which was a bad idea because he suggested I propose to strippers but Dinah told me to find a perfect moment," Roy was glad after a certain age he stopped listening to Oliver's advice. He swore as he got older the advice got more and more unhinged.

"Let's go, right now," Y/N said as she finished her sandwich.

"Like right now, right now?" Roy asked.

"Yeah, we'll pick up Lian from school. I'll call my siblings, Bruce and Alfred. You'll call Oliver and Dinah. The Titans, too," Y/N said picking up her phone.

"I thought you wanted a really big wedding with a ballroom gown and everything," Roy had been following her wedding Pinterest board and promised that every detail would be perfect.

"That's back when I thought I'd never get married for love. I don't care how it happens. I just want it to be you," She kissed his cheek before looking for her car keys.
