I dunno if anyone has said this but i have an idea for Otterslip’s death.

It’s a natural death. Whenever he’s found it’s natural. Not even desecrated by wild animals. Just quiet and dead. His death wouldn’t be long or painful but it was lonely. No one was there in his final moments, he never was allowed any final words or catharsis and he may never find it if he ends up in the Place of No Stars.

And for the Fallenclan cats the death would be almost empty. He’s gone but there’s no catharsis. Not even a bloody display of cruelty that they could say was done by Star Clan’s fury. Just nothing. He wouldn’t even be buried. None of the many cats who had been stewing in plans to kill Otterslip would get that catharsis instead stuck with the idea that if they committed to it earlier and if they found him first then maybe his death would have meaning but they’d never know…

Mine thoughts on snakes… methinks snakes are a fantastic creature, which writhes upon the ground like to caterpillars. I myself have freed many a hognose and garter snake from the fence of my garden, after they ate the pests ravaging my carrots and potatoes. I believe we have quite a mutually beneficial arrangement.

Overall, I would be delighted to find the name of another such enthusiast on this topic!

I like to think Lee chooses to reincarnate into the clan out of curiousity and fondness

He enjoyed the clan more than he thought he would when he chose it as a place to retire and rest. Even though his ‘rest’ was a comedic quantity of deaths that he pushed through due to being unsatisfied with them.

Maybe in the fire he decided to let this body die and see what it is like to truly live in this clan (for him) clan. Spend a few moons(once again to him) with the clan before allowing chance to lead him to his next life.

I like the idea of an immortal/constantly reincarnating cat who takes a fondness to a group of cats and decides to be reborn in their group even though the time they’d spend there would be relatively brief from the perspective of an immortal.
