Tf2 Rothena!! Original & redesign!! She became my tf2 si after(under the cut):
I made a whole au where she was on a warp pad & some enemy activated it or destroyed it when she was trying to activate it to help, and she got transported to the tf2 universe (more game and non-story-comics-based one) and gradually gave less shits until she gave up(once she realized there was no way back home) on way more morals than dan vs or tf2 mae, and after busting out of jail one too many times, she accepts a job from the Administrator's corporation for protection of her & some one-sided(on her side)friends, and her fate is cemented there. Also she has the same default scars as tf2 & danvs Mae but i didn't draw them in bc i was focused on getting the new damn 'render' done. Less scars in general tho bc of her unique half-gem-full-human nature, it was easier to incorporate her into the respawn system.
Their team role is officially The Understudy, but she calls herself Cannon Fodder, Expendable, other self-deprecating terms that the team members she didn't gel with went along with(Soldier, Spy, Scout occasionally, Medic bc he thinks it's as funny as she does, same for Sniper) at the beginning. She usually picks or is assigned to(read: the rest of the team draw straws or fight w rock-paper-scissors to determine) one team member throughout the match, assisting them in their job as backup or cannon fodder/actual scouting (its okay bc she respawns & is gets good at not dying eventually).

Rothena joins red team starting out being completely herself: adhd, gen z suicide jokes, talking abt how much she loves women, etc, unlike how she usually acts when meeting new people. She figures "it's the 1960s, if i'm gonna get like hate crimed i better do it before i get attached, put all my quirks out in the open" & being so open abt herself actually endears some of the mercs to her (& makes others think she's nuts/has to self-preservation which. true lol)
However this makes soldier her worst enemy bc she keeps talking abt how much she hates america. Despite being american

rothena: no, i just don't want to pay 10,000 dollars bc some rando got me sick & i needed to be hospitalized
eventually they settle the fighting with "america could be improved but it's our home & we should stand for it & support it to improvement" but before then, HOO boy

Rothena does godawful at her first day on the field--she's only worked with sitting-duck or inexperienced targets w miss pauling, & the team dismisses her as a liability, so she does her best to stay out of the way bc she thinks so too (and tbh she kind of is, it's like if a casual/beginner jumped into a competitive match in tf2). But heavy takes pity on her and takes her under his wing, having her practice when he has free time he's willing to sacrifice, and having her shadow him during battles!!
And the team sees her become more useful and eventually more of them start asking her to shadow them, earning her first positive class-based nickname, (Little) Shadow!
Maybe medic sees her potential to learn and observe when she picks up a stray medigun and uses it on him without ever being taught how to!! And from there the trust builds!!

kana suggested siffrin's timeloop ability be incorporated so he FOR SURE gets divine pulse+ bcuz it's the exact same principle (reroll attacks to hit after missing via jmplied rewinding of time)
and since odile's gimmick is that she has effective damage against all enemies, right, so i'd imagine her rock/paper/scissors spells get translated into the three types of anima magic (since she's the spellcaster analogy and her weapon is a book)
to keep the "effective against EVERYBODY" gimmick her spells would work on tellius logic, fire = beast/cavalry, thunder = dragons, wind = fliers
I'd also imagine that some skills need to be translated into engage weapons. it's really convenient for me that everybody already has special attacks since that makes engage attacks vry easy
mechanically odile is the most baked cuz. well she's neat!
her super skill is Craft Break alpha, which makes an enemy weak to ALL craft types for three turns, so i'd imagine in terms of engage mechanics it means the enemy will be broken by all attacks for a single turn. situational esp cuz single target, but MAN you could wreck bosses with this
Isabeau's super skill WE WILL WIN!!! gives all party members an omniboost, so i'd imagine it's essentially army wide rally all for a turn
Mirabelle's Holy Care Shield makes all party members invincible for a turn, so you can keep that but nerf it to just adjacent allies
Siffrin just does Big Damage. King does Big AOE damage.
[here i lament that i can't talk about euphie and loop because SPOILERS]
King in addition to Big AOE Damage would also just keep the ability to freeze enemies, like Corrin's. I don't know what the english name is. Fearful Aura. smth that prevents movement on hit
he can also cast Slow (as can Odile), so maybe both of them can do speed debuffs?
In addition to her Rapier (this is why Mirabelle is a FE lord) she'd also have staff access cuz of her many healing skills
...maybe euphie gets lances cuz nobody else does? at least daggers are separate weapon type, so mira and sif don't overlap
isa and the king do, though. they both just smash shit with their firsts. rock type moment
maybe loop can have bows. just bcuz nobody else does.

aini would get jealous a bit more. mainly bc she sees oso as her close friend secretly... hahahahahahah...sad face. they....wouldnt sleep together...too well. prob only when theyre drunk, and they happen to be at aini's place. maybe then they'll sleep in the same bed. usually its just them becoming self aware after 5 mins of laying down, still wearing their office attire and their shoes scattered on the bed. then they freak out, but theyre drunk so theyll prob start lazily punching each other with pillows until they pass out. aini clings onto oso asap, he kicks in his sleep obv...its just a very awkward battle in their sleep until they stop. and they look peaceful...until they wake up with a hangover. screaming in the morning. then telling each other to shut up.

mutual knowledge abt each other. the little things. ig like their fav things. theyre not gonna admit that. (theyd buy each other stuff after work, suprising the other. like omg how did u know??) oso likes to put his arm around aini a lot (then messes her hair up or gets rough, then they start lunging at each other) i think theres like a 4-5 inch height dif...sobs. aini praises him well he does well at work, then insults him after to not sound too...happy. tching and stuff. (whatever u still suck ass, idiot) woahh. they buy each other lunch when its breaktime..they know each other's fav orders and stuff. they eat together everyday (ew) , usually oso comes back with aini's order missing smth (he ate it, she snatches his drink and starts chugging. now its fair !)

ough...wow. yeah, they wouldnt call it a date. they went to a bar and nervously drank 1 drink, thats it. then they kept stuttering over their words, insulting each other a little bit. gave each other one compliment before breaking down. (horrifyingly red faces, sweating buckets, sweaty hands, cant even look each other in the eyes) they agreed not to call it a date, then they went to mcdonalds and stared at each other. they couldnt think of an order at 12:30 am. rock paper scissors, loser pays. mood lightens up a lot, they forgot it was a date. oops! maybe next time!

shrinky dink earring tutorial ^_^
finally posting this as @purplequay requested, sorry this took so long lol
ok so basically shrinky dinks aka shrink art are these sheets of plastic that can be heated so that they shrink and become thicker and more durable, you can buy them at craft stores like micheals tho i believe target has them as well. no clue if they can be found outside the usa tho :/
so first youd want to take whatever design you want and draw it on paper, then trace said design onto the shrinky dink sheet. you can technically just draw directly onto the shrinky dink but i prefer to do it on paper first cus its easier to erase
the plastic shrinks to abt 1/3 of its original size so make sure ur design is larger enough for whatever u wanna do
if you have the kind that has a rough side you can use pretty much any medium on it as far as i know. but if you have the kind thats smooth on both sides id recommend using some kind of alcohol-based ink like permanent marker or dry erase marker
also if youre using yours to make earrings or jewelry id recommend leaving some space at the top to punch a hole thru
after that you can go ahead and cut that thang out w/ scissors or what-have you. id recommend getting a hole punch to cut out any holes you might need but tbh you could just use a needle or something. BUT make sure that hole is big enough cus itll shrink after you heat it
ok i dont have any pics for the next step but you can just put ur dink on a flat surface like a cookie sheet and pop that thing in the oven at 325 F for like 3-5 min depending on the size
your dink might curl but dw itll flatten out while baking. if it doesnt you can quickly flatten it w/ a spatula or smth before it cools. unless you have the off-brand kind which cant bend after baking in my experience
then BOOM. you have two little bits of plastic you can use to make jewelry or charms or whatever your heart desires. im making earrings outta these two
id also recommend adding a layer of resin or mod podge dimensional magic (cheaper but less durable than resin) to help protect the dink and make it look more glassy
the whole process is pretty easy and i believe that most packs come with instructions but lmk if u need me to clarify anything 👍

evidence gathered! now, friendos, allow me to introduce my semi-embarrassed writing of the following topic:
"rock paper scissors, to me somehow has very agere coded protagonists and i'm asking you to hear me out - coming from a person who's only ever seen one person in the main tag agere posting"
don't mind paper. he's a bit awkward about it
(mentioned episodes i got info from came from a google drive! i'm happy to dm the link for anyone interested, anxious abt posting it out in public very sorry)
anywho, let me begin
Getting basics out of the way:
- The show's about the aforementioned protagonists (Rock, Paper + Scissors) who're all roommates also i think they're in a poly relationship but that's another story
- They get up to whatever chaos they can, and things always seem to take a chaotic twist. Be that through overconfidence or insecurities
- All in all it's a fun time, even if some stuff could be seen as flaws to other people
now let's get into the fun stuff! why i think they're all small
EXHIBIT A: ROCK
- He actively calls himself whimsical ("I wanted a hot air balloon because I'm whimsical!" or smth close to that)
- Described often as "like a child" - friendly fellow, naive at times. They say that and I hear "regressor who's comfortable enough with his peers to regress openly"
- ⬆️ Related-ish, often seen going off on his own adventures and having his own form of fun (not that he isn't keen on his friends' view of fun)
- Described as a mediator who can understand who his roommates are deep down and explain why they're doing stuff that they do. very experienced in the smallness business
- All in all very small fellow! Wants to have fun and have his friends get along even if his emotions get a bit outta control sometimes
EXHIBIT B: PAPER
- BUDDY. HE'S SMALL.
- He really wants to be smart (since his family is apparently all high-achieving) but struggles with it. such stress calls for smallness methinks!
- He gets frustrated a lot, see the above point
- Does at least seemingly relax and have some form of downtime with his pals when he's not all stressed out
- absolutely a "small when stressed / tired" guy. trust me on this
- THIS WHOLE SCENE IN THE WEEKEND STORY (+ the buildup)
- I'M SORRY BUT THAT'S ➡️➡️➡️⬆️ A SMALL GUY i mean they both are but stilll
- I think he mentioned in some episode that he got bullied when he was younger?
- Overall Paper is a guy who's doing his best but it's hard and he just gets stressed out and angry and it boils over into smallness
EXHIBIT C: SCISSORS
- canonical dad issues and it makes sense he might want to have another chance of a childhood. poor lad
- always tries to be cool but is just pretty insecure deep down even when Rock + Paper have their own "things". like paper, such stress calls for smallness
- Seems like a little who's proud and chaotic at his core, but he shuts down quick if he thinks he's messed up even a bit. fortunately his roommates are far better father figures than what his likely was
- also probably the last to willingly admit his own smallness? I imagine Rock admitted it naturally which then prompted Paper to accidentally slip a few days afterwards (making him open up), and then Scissors finally decided to be open too when it clicked that his pals would get it
- I'm sorry i have less points for him
In conclusion! Small roommates. my god i feel so embarrassed writing this but i'm willing to let people hear me out on this if they wish
