So in @novalizinpeace’s poppy playtime au, specifically in the cartoon portion, the critters have these magic pendants that give them certain abilities. This isn’t limited to the gang, and all sorts of different pendants exist for different characters, but there’s a catch.
In this post, they talk about how if the magic in the pendant overwhelms a critter, it can transform them into a myth, a magical, monstrous being with incredible power, but can sometimes be incredibly dangerous to the people around them.
So I decided to take the 8 main critters and turn them into horrible little beasties for my amusement, and now I wish to show you guys the fruits of my labor.

Dogday - Sol
This is the only ‘canon’ myth critter that exists in the au. Every time Dogday is pushed past his limit and gets too angry with something he transforms into sol, who is a mindless flaming warrior with no logic or regard for their surroundings. This leads to them being pretty dangerous to be around, but Sol isn’t evil, they just want to protect their user from any harm, and if left to their own devices, would probably self-isolate to protect themselves (and others) from harm.
2. Hoppy Hopscotch - Notus
The first of my original designs. Notus is the transformed version of Hoppy, and has the same weather manipulation powers, just to a much larger degree. Although she mostly uses it to make her storms larger. Notus’s mental state is much more stable than Sol (relatively), specifically in that she can remember her past life, but not specific people, so friends and even family are hardly whispers in her mind, if even that. She is quite competitive, viewing her storms as a contest to see how big she can make them, and will never back down from a challenge, doing everything in her power to win, but she is also a graceful loser, and hates cheaters. Her name comes from the Greek god of south winds, who is associated with wetness and the coming of rains.
3. Bubba bubbaphant - Ganesha
This guy’s name comes from the Hindu deity of new beginnings and the patron of the sciences and arts, who is also represented by a man with an elephant’s head and four arms. His mental state is similar to that of Notus, in that he can remember specific events from his past, but not people. He has become incredibly intelligent, being able to solve complex equations and understand lots of different subjects, but his already prevalent neuroticism has been turned up to eleven, with even the slightest infraction driving him to a rage, which can make him incredibly dangerous to deal with, but also rewarding, as his intellect allows him to answer many questions. He can also spin webs, because spider.
4. Bobby Bearhug - Callisto
Callisto is a little different from the other myths. She can remember her name, and her past, and the people around her, but only sometimes. You see, her pendant’s natural power is to absorb the excess emotion around her, and it still does that, but if she absorbs to much, then it leads to her transformation into a massive bear like monster with one goal, to make the excess stop by any means necessary. This has led to her voluntary exile in order to stop herself from hurting the people around her, which causes Bobby a great deal of pain, but it’s better than letting herself hurt the people she cares about the most. Her name comes from a nymph who was transformed into (what else) a bear by a furious Hera.
5. Pickypiggy - Limos
Unlike most of the others, Limos can hardly remember who she once was, much less the people in her life or what they mean to her. Instead she is driven by her one deepest instinct: to care and provide for the people around her. She works tirelessly to cook and prepare extravagant meals for anyone who might need it, leading to her neglecting her own health and her living environment. She also has to deal with a ravenous hunger that pains her every moment, and often leads her to devouring her dishes as soon as she finished, causing even further distress. Her name comes from the Greek goddess of starvation, which i don’t think is a very good comparison, but I can’t think of anything better, so eh.
6. KickinChicken - The Roc
Kickin’s transformed state is probably the least actively dangerous to be around. He’s a large, powerful bird capable of flying incredibly fast, as well as being incredibly loud and aggressive, but never actively harmful. His mental state is kind of the opposite of Notus and Ganesha, in that he can remember specific people and places, but not his past nor his name, and goes out of his way to try and help others. The key word being ‘try’, as his loud and aggressive demeanor often end up causing more damage than assistance. His name comes from an Arabian creature that is described as a bird of prey large enough to carry an elephant, which I thought was a good choice, and I couldn’t find any mythological chickens that really fit him.
7. Craftycorn - Apophis
Her name comes from an Egyptian monster that is said to be the embodiment of chaos and disorder, although Crafty is significantly less malevolent than her mythological counterpart. The main effect of her presence is the chaotic shifting of her environment, colors swapping and shapes changing into maelstrom of chaos around her, with the effect getting stronger the closer you get towards her, and any critter who does so has the very real risk of being torn apart. Apophis herself isn’t doing much better, with her entire body constantly melting into multicolored goop that has a consistency similar to that of candle wax. Not much is known about her mental state, as no one is brave enough to get close to her for risk of being killed, but there has to be something left of her as her maelstrom very much has the capacity to expand over the entire world and destroy it, the only reason it hasn’t is because Crafty appears to be holding it back through sheer force of willpower.
8. Catnap - Ouranos
Ouranos is probably the one who’s the most ‘in there’, besides Callisto in her non murder mode. He can remember his past life quite clearly and the people in them. In fact the only difference between him and normal Catnap is that Ouranos is slightly more apathetic towards outside events. He’s floated off into space and now observes to world from the heavens, watching as everything drifts by, because he can’t exactly leave. He can, however, see his friends suffering, and wishes he had the capability to help them in any way he could.

Critter Power: Can heat up and cool down anything. Can only do it to one object or critter at a time. Can fly thanks to his wings.
Power Tag: Thermometer
Appearance: A orange and blue colored dragon with wing's and a long tail. Has two horns that zigzag backwards. Has a ridge line of blue fur that goes from the top of his head, to the tip of his tail.
Personality: You won't find anyone more confident or competitive than this dragon in town! North Heat is always up for a fun and exciting game. Especially with his two "friends", Hoppy Hopscotch and Kickin Chicken. While he does act like a jock, he is far from a jerk. Willing to help anyone that asks for it. He doesn't like cheaters and will never cheat in a game. Tries to take losses fairly.

okay, time to talk about the cartoon critters
I finally finished the scripts of the first 10 episodes of the Smiling Critters Series, this batch called ''Spring Season''.
What they're about? Come find out, there's something important at the end!
List of episodes
1-Sunny pancakes and Bitter coffee
Synopsis: The day just started in Orion Town, and Dogday is ready to start with it!
2-A magical world
Synopsis: Is game night in Crafty’s house, and the unicorn had decided to introduce Dogday and Catnap in her crusade.
3-A sad sunflower
Synopsis: Bubba is keeping his garden on point, but there one plant of his that is worrying him: His beloved Sunflower.
4-Flower Boy
Synopsis: Picky is looking for the perfect theme for her room during spring, but her thought process are disturbed by the flower shop owner.
5-The Soul Snatcher
Synopsis: While looking for berries in the forest Dogday find a injured critter, but his good intentions could put all town in a big trouble.
6-Cool delivery
Synopsis: Kickin work is to deliver the Piggy’s orders to all the critters in town, a work more easy to say that make.
7-Sweet little tooth
Synopsis: Bobby loose her first tooth, and while the other critters are excited for her, she’s not really happy of the idea of giving her tooth to the tooth fairy.
8-Plant a wish
Synopsis: A day helping Bubba with his garden end up with some problems for the critters after mistaking the regular seed with some magics seed from crafty.
9-Sleepy sounds
Synopsis: Catnap wake up in the middle of the night by a strong, annoying sound. Say sound came from no other that Dogday, that had started to snore.
10-Underground race
Synopsis: Hoppy had finally finish her underground maze, and had dare all her friends to see who can get to the center first.

In my Au (aka in the game universe), this first 10 episodes worked as a season test for Play.Co to see if the critters could be a good money cow for them, and the results? Really positive! So they asked the marketing area (that was the one that communicate with the company that made the cartoon) for a full season of 44 episodes (incluying this ones) that where divided in Spring-Summer-Autumn-Winter, with 10 normal episodes for each season and 1 special episode.
The special episode for Spring is the Flower festival, but it was released as a season finale in hope to restart the seasons with new 44 episodes, but by then Play.Co didn't wanted more episodes, so the story was left with a cliffhander...
BUT, let not think so ahead, theres now 10 episodes available, but what to see first?
'm really indecisive in what episode draw first, so 'm going to let you all choose wich one would you like to see.

Once Upon a Time
There were 5 kingdoms, living in harmony.
People said that the land was always the same, but the kingdoms emerged at their own time, when the critters in the land started to become less of individuals, and more of a family.
The first one, was the Thermis Kingdom.
The Queen of this land, Queen Tera, user of the eternal pendant, had live more that her own land, having a child per year, all her kingdom call her ''the true mother''. Due her age and wisdom, she was choosed as the judge between kingdoms. Till this day, she's waiting for her rightful succesor, that insect critter able to control the inmense power in her pendant.
Then we have the Oceanus Kingdom
Full of marine diversity, this underground kingdom is known for been the center of all music create in this world, each intruments around the kingdoms had been made by people in this kingdom, and the royalty, the hippocampus, are users of the shell pendant, a pendant able to use sound to manipulate the minds of others, been able to calm a whole battlefield, or on the contrary, start a whole war.
After that it came the Theia Kingdom
Critters of the sky, the kingdom start at the bottom of a mountain till the mere clouds, were the high class of this kingdom, dragons, live peacefully. The rainbow pendant, used only by the royal family, is the one that allow the other weather pendants to work, without this pendant, there wouldn't be rains or snow, no a breeze or a season, the world would be numb.
Later came the Hyperion Kingdom
People said that this kingdom is actually the oldest, since the astral pendant was supposed to be one of the first in existence to keep the magic of the sun and the moon going, but it seems the first users didn't became rulers till much later that the other kingdoms, living along their people like normal critters, the last generations had been lions, but around history the astral pendant had been in a lot of different hands before, but all of them with the heart to keep their people safe. While amazing, this came with consecuences; unlike the other kingdoms, the rulers of this kingdom aren't as powerful with their magic, and some kingdoms judge this mere fact.
Like the last kingdom, Kronos.
Everybody in this kingdom are as powerful as they can possibly be, and their whole economy get around the use of magic, been by the manipulation/reparation/elimination of pendants, and the royalty, the alicorns, are users of the creation pendant, a pendant just has powerful as the eternal pendant, and their rulers take a lot of pride in their power.
There had never been conflict in this lands, at least no, till one ruler decided to put his pride over the peace, when someone had the guts to tell them no.

No, his original name wasn't Bravehowl, it always had been Braveheart (i have my scripts to confirm it, and his own pendant to leave it more clear), it was midnight for me when i did that post, so my mind wasn't really working.

here, to give you all a ''reference'' of how 'm writting the critters in my cartoon idea, this is a graphic explanation of my process: Basically, i took MLP characters and mix them in a blender.
This is not a literal explanation, there's especific thing i took from each pony to work with the critters, Rarity's traits i took for Picky aren't the same i took for Catnap, but this is the most easy way to explain my character's interpretation.
There's also the trait i created for the critters that don't came from MLP, like Dogday's clumsiness, but that is going more indeep of them, and i would like to leave said part for when i release the episodes.

Genuine question, since Bobby was raised by wilds and she and catnap have a child did they have a baby via the stork or the…Traditional method? 
Sorry if this is an uncomfortable question, but it popped into my head while I was in the shower and now I need answers 
Charlie was all ready to work a mini lore there with Bobby explaining why she got pregnant, the surprise in all the critters due this unnusual event, why their baby is a lil' different from the rest due this, the man was inspired-
-But Alba has to be a lil' shit and then make him embarassed, so no, Bobby and Catnap's baby came from the stork.
