I mentioned I was going to make a post with the six songs I maladaptive daydream about akashi to- this is that post. this will be broken down in sections bc there is general and then there is wips

smoke by willyecho - god that drop... i have a very specific image in my head at that drop and its bone chilling. the first four lines are fucking perfect (if you know this fic’s au and if you know akashi, you know exactly what these lines are in reference to), the ‘talk to me god’ i drive myself insane with my own brain- i’ll just say akashi has a bodyworship kink thats all onwards, and lastly the fucking chorus too perfect for my au

midas by skott - in my head this is furihata about akashi............... ugh man they make me ache

russian soul by skott - again this is furihata about them. it’s really about the core of their ship dynamic so thus it applies to my wip but there is a specific line that just gets me “We are only water and a lot of coal, Are you telling me we're meant to be?”

we have it all by pim stones - and then this song is a response to the two above songs- i have this wip broken in three parts- the dawn (the beginning/the origin), the day (the middle/their true relationship), and the night (the end/the destruction) the above two songs take place in the day, this takes place in the night. it’s a song about apologies but as the lyrics say “Diamonds are forever” it just- echoes the lyric from russian soul so beautifully

let me think about it by ida corr & fedde le grand - now this gives akashi being a badass and sneaking around the house with a gun, finding furi, coming across his family, them trying to convince him to turn sides, “let me think about it” [shoots gun]

hhhhhhng i have like a 4 hr long levihan playlist called abnormal entanglement. i tried to pick one but obviously i failed

primarily:

Wingspan by Prinze George in the whole angst of being connected to another human and that being fallible (it's a sad one) (like none of these songs are 'happy') plus the wingspan/ Wings of Freedom imagery

Russian Soul by Skott particularly the lyrics of "When it's you and me / we become each other" and how the Wings of Freedom imagery can be applied to "Love the wings we stole"

We Have It All by Pim Stones is my ch.132 dedicate-your-heart song - not all the lyrics fit, and it references a con man – “He cut our thumbs and placed a feather in our hands / Told us we would see all our dreams and plans unfold” (ring any bells? Erwin?? feathers??? wings of freedom?????) – but the lyrics that fit REALLY fit:
