So I was looking at the drawings in Sigma’s origin trailer again, and I remembered this part. 

I noticed a particular detail about it that I haven’t seen anybody talk about, and it’s this.

I have noticed that in-game, Sigma has this same device on his hand, except it seems it’s implanted rather than sitting on the outside of his hand.

Here’s a comparison between his Oracle and Rime skin, where it’s clearly implanted in the middle of his palm. It is present in most of his skins, albeit not all of them like the Maestro and Scuba skins. 

So, this raises the question of how many augmentations Sigma has in his body so he can control his hyperspheres and use his other abilities in battle, and who is responsible for giving him these augmentations. Do the implants in his hands somehow link to the skullcap on the back of his head and what’s possibly inside of it? There’s a lot of mystery around how Sigma is able to do what he does, even being able to float, much less how he does it. I know it’s wishful thinking when I say I hope they explain how he can use his powers, but I would really like to learn more about his augmentations.

Theory: Sloan has a transporter beacon implanted in his hand.

We know Starfleet officers typically use commbadges in order to initiate beam outs and to pinpoint their locations. From what's seen on screen, Sloan and his uniformed Section 31 cronies don't seem to have any visible equivalents. However, Sloan was still somehow able to initiate a quick, wordless beam out while leaving Julian's quarters in IAESL. It would also make sense from a safety and security standpoint to have an escape button for agents if things were to go wrong on a mission. A particular habit of Sloan's is that he likes to keep his hands folded or steepled, especially at the beginning of his encounters with Julian. After Julian captures him, he starts (seemingly anxiously) rubbing his hands together, and later balls a hand into a fist when he wakes up in the lab. Obviously, these could simply be a personal affectations, but what if it served another purpose? Should there be an implant under the skin of his hand, he might have been trying to beam out after Julian activated his security field. And by steepling his hands, it would have allowed quick access to the implant should Julian have ever called Security on him 🤔

I love how they made these two changes outfit that based on the eras where they get overhaul. Love the 1958's Loey and 1961's Neas because idk but I feel that kind of outfit gave classy but casual vibe.

Listen, LISTEN, what makes Kanej such a compelling and unique ship is that they IN FACT don’t need skin on skin contact to love each other. They don’t need what other couples have to feel how they feel or to show their affection for each other. They have so much trauma and issues they have to deal with but that does not stop them from being willing to try to be together despite their struggles. They can barely hold hands but that does not erase the yearning and the love and devotion they so clearly feel for the other.

Kaz is willing to try to put himself together for her. He shows he cares by giving her everything she ever wanted: her freedom and her parents and a ship to hunt slavers.

And Inej canonically states she doesn’t think she could ever have a normal relationship with anybody else, she doesn’t want that, she’s not made for that life. What she wants is Kaz being willing to try to open up for her. The “I will have you without armor” is not about her wanting him to remove his gloves for her and give her physical affection. SHE DOESN’T EVEN KNOW IF SHE COULD EVEN HANDLE THAT.

What she wants is Kaz being willing to try for her. If she was going to make herself vulnerable and open her heart to a relationship with him she needs him to meet her in the middle. She knows what she deserves and she was not going to try if Kaz was going to give her nothing but his usual emotionally repressed self.

That’s it. It’s not about skin on skin contact, it’s not about Inej needing a man without trauma to fulfill physical needs she cannot even handle just yet because she was the victim of human trafficking and repeated SA in the Menagerie. And I DESPISE the writers for completely erasing that aspect and daring to imply something between Inej and Tolya. Tolya who canonically states he has no interest in romance, who literally says his books and his poetry are more than enough! That one writer with their stupid IG post, I swear they don’t have even the most basic understanding of these characters and what make them so unique and special. LITERALLY NO ONE ASKED FOR A LOVE TRIANGLE WHERE ITS NOT NEEDED STOP THAT SHIT RIGHT THIS INSTANT!
