#ive been rewatching episode 7 like its the only thing on youtube and made note of many things #first off. the solver can only have one host. nori mentions skyn wants to kill off all the other solver hosts (with the dds) and disregards #the idea of both uzi and doll being its current host when they get chased #plus the main solver possessions only occur when skyn is out of the picture (the fightt in ep 7 is only after n decapitates “tessa”)#solver uzi is possible too but i dont count her cause she doesn't have the yellow #personal theory is that its more an instinctual response to overheating or something and not full on possession #second off nori calls the solver cyn. how does she know that name #cyn was on earth and only showed up to copper 9 recently and i presume nori's been here her whole life #it probably wasn't the other dds cause none of them made it down and they're all more savage beasts #since cyn specifies n's team retained their personalities and that makes me think the other teams didnt #also also we should've immediately questioned tessa arriving in the same type of pod as the mds when they were revealed to not be sent by j #im running out of characters also the people who dont like when i use tags like this can bite me #murder drones #murder drones nori #artori? that sounds cool #ill probably just stick with nori though #i have so many solver heart refs now #art #episode 7 #murder drones episode 7 #murder drones episode 7 spoilers #using the same black for shadows as my lineart doesn't work when i have to draw thin things over it #murder drones spoilers

Okay if you haven't yet, and you have Netflix/Paramount+, consider giving "School Spirits" a chance.

It looks like a silly little cheesy teenage ghosts show, I put it on for background noise, and then got totally engrossed in the mystery. It's VERY well written, very well filmed, the mystery was GREAT and the payoff at the end is also great.

One of the things majorly lacking in shows I've recently tried to watch is that they try to do a twist/reveal at the end that comes out of nowhere. They don't want you to guess what they're doing. This show doesn't do that. This show wants you to guess. They give you seven different mysteries and enough clues to guess (most of) what is going on, so that when you get the final puzzle piece to any given mystery, it feels GREAT.

The story premise is this: a teenager in hs wakes up as a ghost in the hs, and doesn't remember how she died, and with the help of the other ghosts, tries to solve the mystery of her own death.

Simple premise. BEAUTIFULLY executed. Not all of the questions that arise get answered, but the main one (what she doesn't remember) gets solved by the end of the season, leaving the "why/how and what comes next" to be carried to the next season. It does a cliffhanger RIGHT. But now I desperately want to see the second season (which I believe has been approved, so it's a matter of waiting).

So pretty please, if you're looking for something to do and a great, engaging lil mystery to watch, consider! School Spirits!!

#school spirits #there is so much in this show #Spike and I finished watching it today #her for the first time me for the second #and the second time through it was even better because I was picking up the right threads #the first time through there are SO MANY CLUES #but there are also SO MANY MYSTERIES that you aren't sure which clues belong to which mystery #and then the last half of the last ep hits #and dumps out all the final puzzle pieces to several mysteries #and we spent like an hour digging through thoughts afterword #pulling out themes and clues #and there are some potentially REALLY CLEVER things done #and actually they 100% followed through on the things they set forth and paid off so far #so I feel pretty confident some of the things we pieced together actually belong to the puzzle #and aren't just mistakes #or coincidences #and it's been so long since I got to see actually good writing STAY good writing through #I'm so stoked for this series

cant stop thinking about the 5-star promotions and how they treated a full album like it was an ep with no b-side promos and the s-class music show promos lasted barely two weeks.. and how they didn’t even let the album marinate at all and just announced the jpn ep and the dome tour like damn why are we in such a hurry

#and they were so excited about this cb even when they were promoting maxident #it’s like they just brushed the album under the carpet and immediately jumper to the next thing #jumped*#like i just feel like we should’ve gotten more out of this album #also i really dont understand the timing of this jpn ep like since they already put out the sound earlier this year #it’s probably gonna be like this in the future too #they’ll release the second album that was mentioned in step out after that jpn tour is done #and they’ll give it the same treatment and announce a world tour #we had it so good before with them having showcases and promoting bsides for their releases 💔

Why must a twitter post make me choose who has the worst parnets between Horrid Henry, Doofenshmirtz, Priya from Total Drama Island and Sora from Lego Ninjago??? They all got shit parents in different ways, there's no contest between them.

#doof's parents wont even there for BIRTH #let alone treated him like shit in comparison to his brother #to the point of neglect basically and shit #while priya was literally born to go onto total drama to the point while still attached to her cord after being born #she had to do bungee jumping #and her parents just spent her whole life preparing her for the show #sora's parents support a holy shit kingdom while not caring for her or her hobby unless they could have her use it to support the holy shit #kingdom and when she didnt want to they actively took away her hobby saying to get another if she won't use first one to support #the holy shit kingdom #and they actively shit even when in present with her #she literally ran away to get away from them and as she put it shes found a better family with the ninja #horrid henry basically can breath and his mom will be like 'DONT BE HORRID HENRY-' and send him to his room #to the point apparently in newer eps he just misses breakfast cause he was sent to his room instantly #like more then once should add #like they had second kid and that was it first kid became the kid that gets all the shit from parents #mainly the mom as the dad sometimes is chill #but the mom really does seem to wish she didnt have henry #since she applauded henry being made disappear by a birthday magician #which got even henry's arch rival giving her a wtf look #like they all equally bad parents here dammit

Omg I actually enjoyed this episode quite a bit!!!

#It wasn't... Particularly extraordinary but it still felt almost meeting the season 4 standard #Things are still going super super fast 😭😭#Like it may be that I'm just... Slow to process info but I seriously feel like I can't keep up with what they say #I can't believe at this point they've basically caught up with the manga 😭😭#In the next ep they'll reach the moment when *I* caught up with the manga when I read bsd for the first time which is just insane to me.#Like my brain can't conceive it #It's such a shame to think that means we aren't getting another bsd anime season for another five years... My heart cries #Even more since at this point it's probably going to stop right before sskk meet again and it's going to be so frustrating for me #But the Aya / Bram scenes were so cute!!! In them I felt like the pace was actually okay for the first time since forever.#It may be that they weren't very information packed so they kind of flew smoothly but I thought the pace was enjoyable–#and the animation too was pretty good!!!#There's always a black shadow wrapping my heart tight whenever I notice the animation gets better–#because I can't help but mourn what the sskk fight could have been and can't stop the resentment...#But in the end I'm happy if the budget goes to a little girl that's what she deserves :')#In the next episode we're probably going to get a little Atsushi screentime too!!!!#Man I'm so starved for Atsushi screentime every time he appears on screen for 0.06 seconds there's a whole crowd cheering in my head #random rambles

ive watched 3 seasons of 911 in a week. and yeah i also watched the last two s7 eps that came out. yes ive seen spoilers for like the whole show and im still having fun. and hey, the next ep doesnt come out till may so i have time to catch up! (i dont think itll take me three weeks to watch three more seasons)

You see, the problem with Benjamin Park is I consistently love characters who

A) Betray people (Good to bad, bad to good, double crossing, triple crossing, are betrayed themselves as well, emotionally/morally conflicted but go through with it anyway, was planning to betray them all along but caught feelings, was planning to betray them all along and did not catch feelings, forced/manipulated into the betrayal, have some crucial crisis of character for better or worse and choose to betray their side in a snap, I need to stop listing variations but all of it is A+ stuff)

and

B) Are played by Curt Mega

So you can see how this is something of a perfect storm for me.

#my mind is an odd place #listen I blame my love of traitors for me latching on to Warp and Edmund when I was a kid #anyway I really hope he shows up in future Pulp Musicals because even though the story's grown in scope since ep 1 I wanna hear him again #also wanna hear more Curt singing opposite Curt like we got for a few seconds in Great Moon Hoax because I love that kinda stuff #there was some of this in ep 3 which I also loved basically I really like one person singing at themself
