a hair for @profesionalpartyguest: @vittleruniverse's rih bun & dreads with pearl pins converted from the sims 4 to the sims 2! this is less a hair, and more of a hair set, consisting of the hair itself alongside accessory pearl pins and matching baby hairs! 🌼
both the hair and the pearl pins are around 4k polys each; the baby hairs can be found under the facepaint category. the hair, which has both a base and dreads version, and the baby hairs come in @antoninko's afterglow hair system, while the pearl pins have 5 swatches. i hope to convert more 'alpha' hairs soon...

Downtown revamp: Lucky Shack Cards and Drink
Everyone assumed the "cards" at Lucky's was the old video poker machine collecting dust in the corner, until they got invited to a private game in the back.
floor plan and more:
I wanted to make the casino pub into a local dive bar with a risque gambling option. So I used a bunch of posters and photos to give it a more homey feel, with more humble furniture.

The Halloween memory path is completely done, and the kitchen has been cleared and redecorated for the birthday fiasco path.
I still have no idea what the plan is to trigger one path over the other, but at least they'll both be ready when I do figure it out.

a 'little' request that i fulfilled over on the simscord! @cinnamonsims' vera dress converted from ts4 to ts2, and paired with @trillyke's labyrinth stockings + @jius-sims' canvas platform sneakers! a beautiful dress for you to style your sims with 🥰
the outfit's entire polycount was close to 30k (criminal...), but i managed to cut it down to just 7346 polys. there's still some black spots remaining (largely visible on the shoes and straps in bodyshop, but otherwise i'm super proud of how everything came out! the dress is for tf-af only, tf is repo'd to af, and all morphs are included! it's categorised as everyday/formalwear.

THINGS TO NOTE
every single part of the body is a separate group. i did this because i wanted it to be easier to make recolors, but if that annoys you as a creator it should (theoretically) be possible to combine the dress, shoes, and socks groups together and layer the textures on one another, since they use the ts4 uv map.
expect some clipping/unclipping issues with the legs while walking. i did my best and it's not as visible as it used to be, but the legs can and will pop out from under the skirt.

Nervous Subject headcanon:
Its not his birthname, Ophelia named him something normal (or normal enough for a lady called Ophelia Spector), but when the Beakers got ahold of him as a child they only called him Subject, and once he got major trauma and anxiety from their treatment they referred to him as 'being Nervous' and he mistook it as a name, so when he met Pascal he said his name was Nervous Subject. Pascal later helped him find a new name, once the Beakers had been jailed.

One thing I've noticed while playing the Sims 2 in storymode.
Is that with any other Sim I never get back from work earlier if they get demoted or fired, yet I only see this happening to Mary-Sue Pleasant
Considering you can actually play the household in a specific order to build the story, imagine if by following this, Mary-Sue began to suspect Ned Fulmer Daniel since the fiasco at Cassandra's house.
Mary-Sue witnessed that Dina, Nina and Kaylynn were involved with Don, who ran away from the wedding. She couldn't get out of her head that Kaylynn, her maid, was involved with an engaged man.
Her gut telling her something is wrong is what makes her either get demoted or fired from her work since she can't focus at all, with a heartbroken best friend, the maid involved in the drama with taken men, she confirms her suspictions when she comes back and caughts Daniel in the act.
