thoughts on the new Watcher news? I’m not mad about it at all, it seems very logical to me when they’ve always been focused on being able to control their content and they need a more lucrative way to do that. and it’s about as much as a patreon tier would be. but I also get that people are upset about possibly losing access to stuff they previously had access to.

Honestly, I hope Shoutfactory releases more Rider digitally without also providing blurays and stuff immediately. It would probably make getting actual seasons of Kamen Rider much faster, as Shout Factory just has to get digital streaming rights for seasons, and just sub them.

I like the Blurays, but there's also just a genuine problem with how Kamen Rider is being distributed right now, especially with how patchwork the series being subbed are. It would be nice if we could have the 2 series the only Movie War movie we have officially subbed focuses on. I feel like there should be just more seasons being subbed before we get the blurays.

btw i seriously recommend for everyone to watch kamen rider kuuga at some point in their life, completely independent of me recommending kamen rider to people as a franchise - kuuga really is just a masterpiece and a work of art and one of the greatest pieces of superhero media ever made. there is really nothing else like it. there is so much to chew on with the cinematography and fight choreography and of course the themes and symbolism, i think anyone who is a Film Enjoyer would get a lot of out of it. and anyone who is a homoeroticism enjoyer as well, it must be said. so yeah watch kamen rider kuuga it’s free and legal on shoutfactory in the us and if you’re not in the us it’s free and rather less legal on a bunch of other sites

And even beyond that, one of the fields is misaligned.
