ATEEZ Scorpio Analysis

Hello and welcome to quite possibly the silliest post I’ve made to date! I’ve spoken at length about Ateez and the relationship with their Scorpio placements, but for whatever reason, I wish to rank them and find the chiefest Scorpio amongst them. So without further ado, let’s get into it!

Disclaimer: As per usual, traditional astrology and rulership applies. This post especially is just for fun. If you think I’m wrong, feel free to argue in the askbox.

Pre-Game:

So first, I’ll explain the how of the game. We’re going to be measuring the dominance of the three major components the rulership of Scorpio: Planet (Mars), Element (Water), and Modality (Fixed). We’ll be using the very convenient Dominants tab from the Natal Charts available on astro-seek to get our base numbers and weight them accordingly. I did my best to find a “fair” way to account for everything, but there’s a reason they say “lies, damn lies, and statistics”.

Here’s what the table I’m working with looks like, using Ateez’s group natal chart as an example:

I’ve generated one for each of the members, but they're not included with this post so as to not clog up the view. The website itself explains each column and how they come up with the numbers, but in short, significance is given to each planet based on where it is, if it’s being ruled by a sign of rulership/exaltation/etc, whether its in a house of corresponding rulership… we will be ignoring aspects for this, as some of the birth times we have are approximations, which can lead to incorrect aspect degrees..

For scoring, planets will be weighted at 40% of the total, with element and modality each being worth 30%.

As a refresher for those who don’t keep this information in their brains, here are the Scorpio placements between members:

Hongjoong: Sun and Venus

Yunho: Mars and Rising

San and Mingi: Mars

Wooyoung: Mercury

Jongho: Mercury and Venus

Yeosang and Seonghwa have none, but they have quite a bit of Mars and Water influence, so don’t write them off just yet!

**I am operating this under the assumption that Jongho is a Taurus Rising. I’ll address it more at the end, but ultimately, there wasn’t a huge difference between my top 3 guesses and his final score, so I just ran this with the one.

Round 1: Planets

Who has the most outright Mars influence? Well, this one should come as no shocker:

Yunho and Seonghwa are very close point total wise, but for Yunho, his Scorpio Mars in the first house is his strongest placement by a margin of 4 points (his Taurus Venus coming in second at 10 points), Despite all of his Aries Mars influence clocking 13 points, Seonghwa’s Aries Sun and Cancer Moon are also weighty factors in his totals at 12 points apiece, bumping his point total up, but his percentage down.. San’s Scorpio Mars is actually tied for influence with his Leo Mercury, since it’s ruling his ascendant.

Mingi’s Scorpio Mars is tied for second in his dominant planets with his Leo Sun, but both are overshadowed by his Cancer moon by a mere point. Wooyoung actually has all of 9 points, but as it turns out, his Venus in Libra in the first weighs in at a whopping 18 points (the most points of any member, causing his Mars to only rank 3rd in his dominant planets. Hongjoong’s Jupiter in Pisces is actually doing a lot of the heavy lifting in his influence, but his Scorpio Sun and Mars in Virgo help keep him from falling into last. Finally, Yeosang is bringing up the rear with 6 points being carried by his Aries Ascendant placement

All in all, every member of Ateez has Mars as no less than their 3rd place influencing planet, which is honestly quite impressive.

Round 2: Elements

Water placements! We’re looking at Scorpio, Pisces, and Cancer. No crazy weighing this time, we’re just checking to see who has the most water in their chart.

Most of these rankings are being carried by the plethora of Cancer Moons (Mingi, Seonghwa, and Yeosang), with Hongjoong getting a chance to shine by virtue of his Scorpio Sun/Venus and Pisces Jupiter. Almost everyone actually has water as their top element or is tied for top, with San and Wooyoung being Earth/Water and Air/Water

... except Seonghwa, who despite getting second place, is strictly fire dominant.

(And now I’m laughing because a whole bunch of water dominants debuted with a pirate concept 😂)

Round 3: Modality

Easy peasy, we’re looking for fixed signs in the natal placements + ascendant. For a refresher, these are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.

San’s Leo and Taurus placements clench the win for San in this category, with 5 placements out of 8 being fixed, compared to Yunho and Mingi’s four, though all 3 are fixed dominant. Meanwhile, this is where Seonghwa finally gets penalized for all of his Aries/Cancer energy, as his only fixed placement is his Aquarius Venus. Hongjoong and Jongho both have predominantly Mutable placements, while Wooyoung, Yeosang, and Seonghwa have significant Cardinal energy.

A note on Signature Signs:

If you take the natal 7 plus ascendant and calculate the most modalities and elements (not the same way as the Round 2), some people will end up with a signature sign. Of the Ateez members, 5/6 out of 8 (Jongho being a maybe) actually manage to snag one:

Hongjoong has a Pisces Signature (3 Water + 4 Mutable)

Seonghwa and Yeosang both have Aries Signatures (4 Fire+5 Cardinal and 3 Fire+5 Cardinal respectively).

Yunho has a Scorpio Signature (3 Water+4 Fixed),

San has a Taurus Signature (3 Earth + 5 Fixed)

Jongho (w/ an assumed Taurus Rising,) is a Gemini Signature (3 Air + 3 Mutable).

Mingi and Wooyoung both have ties in their elements, with a 3/3 split on Earth/Water for Mingi, and 2/2/2/2 for Wooyoung across all elements.

I couldn’t figure out how to weigh Yunho's bonus Scorpio Signature into this contest, but in the end it didn’t matter…Because the grand Scorpio of Ateez is still Yunho

Final Scores:

Yunho was the only member to get Top 3 in all 3 rounds of scoring, and really his Mars strength from round 1 could not be surpassed. In my attempt to make this fair, I tried different ways of weighing this (33% even, 50/30/20, etc.) and Yunho comes out on top every time. But once again, Scorpio Rising ruled by a Scorpio in Mars- was there ever any doubt?

By this weighting, Mingi and San tie, but if you switch to 50/30/20 Mingi squeaks out above San, while 50/25/25 has San edge out Mingi. Ultimately I’m fine with the weighting I landed at, as I think it’s pretty clear that these 3 are leagues ahead of the rest. Hongjoong and Seonghwa will actually tie in 50/30/20, but for the most part Hongjoong sits above Seonghwa. Meanwhile Wooyoung never clears last place, with Jongho and Yeosang sitting somewhere above him.

Final Tidbits:

-Now, as previously stated, a Taurus Rising for Jongho is just a guess, but with the exception of a Scorpio Rising (which I ranked at 5/12 for likelihood), the top 3 rising options sit at about the same place in the chart, so I went ahead and kept Jongho on here. I have all 4 on my master document that I will post at the end

-If you run Ateez’s group natal chart against all the members, it often will rank even higher than Yunho, depending on the weighting.

-I’ve included my own Scorpio ranking in the master document. Do with that as you will.

An Analysis of Raskolnikov's Natal Chart Placements (Part 1)

this is in continuation of my post re: raskolnikov's birth chart, as i did say i would make another discussing his major placements. before we begin, here are some things i wanna mention:

under the replies of that post i linked above, i used rostov/rostov-on-don as rodya's birthplace, but as user vintageshits pointed out, there is also textual evidence that suggests rodya hails from zaraysk. i tried using that too, and it more or less gives the same placements that rodya might have if his hometown was rostov.

i am not a professional astrologer, and most of what i have deduced from rodya's chart is merely an accumulation of my own observations/learnings over the past seven years of studying astrology. there will always be different interpretations for each aspect/placement; you are more than welcome to add on to the discussion if you wish to do so in the replies! :^)

also, this is a LONG read. maybe have some snacks / drinks ready XD spoilers about the book too

ARIES RISING, PLUTO in 1H

Gives off commanding, individualistic vibes; Rodya often prefers to be left alone and has grown accustomed to being alone (although I’d say that this is also due to his personality/way of living); he likes to be given his space and he is not above demanding it.

RESTING BITCH FACE!!! Every Aries rising I know has a signature RBF and they can’t hide it even if they tried. Couple this with the fact that Rodya also has Pluto in the 1st house; it’s very easy for him to come off as intimidating and sullen, and may also be critical of how he looks. remember that scene when somebody pointed out his worn out hat in chapter 1 and he started grumbling about it? yep. exactly.

BUT — never forget that what is intimidating may also be weirdly charming in the eyes of others! makes absolute sense why Dostoevsky wrote Rodya to be “exceptionally handsome… with beautiful dark eyes and dark brown (translation is debatable but i’m a dark brown-haired rodya truther) hair”; i had a classmate who was an aries rising and they had the most defined, alluring eyes ever — it was like they could see right through my physical body lol

Another applicable description that matches these placements is the passage: “...there was a sort of haughty pride and reserve about him, as though he were keeping something to himself.”

This one, I think, comes off as more of a result of having an Aries ASC square Saturn and Jupiter: “He seemed to some of his comrades to look down upon them all as children, as though he were superior in development, knowledge, and convictions, as though their interests were beneath him.”

Saturn touching the Ascendant often makes one come off as standoffish, cold, and reserved; people with this (undeveloped) aspect may seem as though they’re “above you” and act like they “know better than you” when really they just have a stick up their ass (this is a self-drag, I have Saturn in my 1st house and I used to act like this). Jupiter contacting the ASC may also have a hand in the passage above, especially the “haughty” part. Rodya acts as if he’s more “enlightened” (Jupiter) than his peers when really… he’s having delusions of grandeur due to not having eaten/drunk anything for days 💀

On a more physical perspective, these two aspects may contribute to Rodya’s “above average” height! Jupiter is the planet of expansion, and Saturn “elongates” what it touches (though, some may also say that having these touch one’s ASC may make them short/stout bc Saturn is also about limitations and Jupiter also “expands”, but ig in Rodya’s case we can interpret them in the former way.)

May be quite restless too; they often come off as agitated or always “on the move”; this was probably one of the reasons why Rodya hated his small room so much — there wasn’t enough space for him to be able to literally move around and draw out all that pent up energy inside him. This can also be explained by his chart ruler (Mars) being in Virgo, which is commonly known for its very nervous Mercurial energy.

His ASC also squares his moon, which I think also adds to the whole jitteriness he has; and his overall moody demeanor. The Capricorn moon in him wants him to suppress his emotional reactions, but his Aries rising wants it to be on display! Not anymore surprised as to why it was so easy for him to threaten Luzhin that he was going to throw him down the stairs LMAO (and more fittingly, because he didn’t want another word about his mother [the Moon, in astrology] coming out of Luzhin’s mouth). He can also be quite sensitive about the topic of his family, though may also be distant when he’s actually with them. There’s a lot of struggle with accepting his needs, as well, and this is also in connection with his Virgo Mars, again.

It makes sense too, that Rodya has a disconnect with his innermost thoughts/emotions and the things he does. Remember, when Razumikhin described him to Pulcheria and Dunya, he said that Rodya “...does not like showing his feelings and would rather do a cruel thing than open his heart freely.”

Also irritable, due to that Martian influence. My previous roommate had this placement; it was really easy to excite her / rile her up, be it for a positive or a negative reason. Acting out of instinct is also a main characteristic of Aries Risings. They always do the first thing that comes to their mind — in Rodya’s case it’s to help people (financially), which he ends up regretting afterwards because he’s already so broke XD — which may or may not always work in their favor.

Maybe it's just an observation on my part, but I find that Aries Risings always have to be the first in everything…? Or at least, they always want to do something that makes them stand out or confirms their suspicion/thoughts about an unknown thing that no one else has dared to do before. Perhaps that explains why Rodya was so hellbent on testing that theory (which he ended up not actually believing LMAO)

Another note on Rodya’s propensity to help others; his chart ruler is also in the 6th house, which is the house of service, routines and health — part of what he frequently does is quite literally go around helping people.

SCORPIO SUN in 8H

Quite possibly the most fitting adjectives in the book that can sum up Rodya are “...morose, gloomy, proud and haughty”; “suspicious and fanciful”; and “...fearfully reserved” (thank you, Razumikhin). These words capture what Plutonic energy is, in some of its rawest forms.

Being a Scorpio Sun myself (though I have mine in the 5th house), Rodya mirrors a lot of who I was when I was younger: heavily secretive, paranoid(as in, always feeling like everyone is out to get them); prideful and conceited at times. Rodya knows he’s intelligent, that’s why he can’t help but feel as though he’s the smartest in the room, but his propensity to detach and isolate himself from others renders him unable to realize how he and his ideas relate to others, and this leaves his identity and worldviews/perspectives unchecked. He’s just stuck in his own little world; inside his echo chamber where he repeats his ideologies to himself over and over again, convincing himself that he’s “enlightened” above others. All that talk about wanting to prove whether he was a trembling creature or if he “had the right” ties in with this.

The catch is, this makes him so terribly lonely. Part of what I have learned from astrology is that the house opposite where one’s Sun is the area of our life which we have to learn to “exist in”. For me, this was the 11th house. My methods of self-expression were always just limited to the purpose of “putting on a show” (5th house) for others, but as I grew older, I learned how to use my talents for more humanitarian causes (11th house). Going back to Rodya, his manner of experiencing life (Sun) is stuck behind the private screens of the 8H, which hides it away from the grounding reality of the 2H, ruled by Taurus. Another way to look at this 2H-8H juxtaposition is that Rodya's ego is on some obscure, nonphysical place (8H) instead of being grounded in real life (2H). He lives only for his mind, and forgoes his physical state. Well, we all know how he wouldn't eat for days and that his sleeping habit is shit. Dude's probably rank too. Oh Rodya.

I guess the best and most redeeming quality of Rodya being a Scorpio Sun is his capacity for rebirth and transformation. We get a glimpse of the initial stages of this while he’s serving his sentence in Siberia. His old self slowly begins a path of renewal towards his transformation into this “new self” that will have shed all what used to be who he was when he was twenty-three.

Sun Sextile Saturn: This reinforces even more that super serious and uptight nature of his (to a degree that is almost comical, like bro would it kill you if you stopped taking yourself so seriously??) Sun aspecting Saturn also denotes heavy responsibility as a young child, or having thrust into the role of a parent at an early age. We aren’t exactly given an age for Rodya when Roman Raskolnikov died, but we can assume that it happened pretty early. This heavy responsibility to fill in his father’s shoes is one of the reasons why Rodya feels so, so burdened by the fact that he’s not going anywhere with his education in St. Petersburg, knowing that Pulcheria and Dunya are also counting on him to get a job so he could support them, being the remaining man in the family; this may also be another reason why his pride couldn’t take it when he learned Dunya was getting married to a rich asshole like Luzhin, so she could contribute significantly to the family — he should be doing that, not his younger sister.

Sun Square Neptune: Did somebody say LIGHTWEIGHT? One of the possible interpretations of this placement is a heightened sensitivity to alcohol and other substances. I fucking cackled when I saw this aspect (I, unfortunately, have this as well), and it brings me back to that scene in Part 1 Chapter 5 where Rodya was absolutely zonked out because he drank a “wineglassful” of vodka 😭 On a more serious note, this placement also points to an absent father figure, or at least having experienced the loss of a father. The person’s sense of self also tends to fluctuate. Ever wondered why Rodya is so prone to switching between his god complex and crippling depression? This is one of the reasons why.

Little astro tidbit about having 8th house placements: these natives are often the types who’ll just randomly have people involve them or tell them about the wildest shit in their lives, like unprovoked. For example, they’d be just chilling then suddenly a random ass stranger or somebody they don’t really know well starts telling them about their personal business. This was the same thing that happened to Rodya when Marmeladov suddenly approached him in the tavern and started narrating his life story to him 😭 and the entire time Rodya just,,, took it all in XD

CAPRICORN MOON in 10H

Just when we thought Rodya could not be more service-oriented (that is, when he’s not busy being an asshole), he’s also given a Capricorn moon to top it all off! Most Cap moons I know go out of their way to make sure the ones they care for are alright; they spend much time and effort on that sort of thing. Will they let you take care of them though? No LOL they’d rather be caught dead in a ditch than admit that they want to be taken care of

All that pushback Razumikhin got when he helped Rodya out makes so much more sense. Rodya could not fathom why Razumikhin would himself go out of his way to learn about his trifles despite the fact that they don’t really talk much (like,, Rodya doesn’t even say ‘hi’ to him at all out in the street) and aren’t close; although, Rodya is aware that Razumikhin is kind, and he even tells him this when he dropped by his place

When a Cap moon does care, they will put others’ needs first and foremost, esp if they can see that the person really needs help and is in a more dire situation than they are. Not above setting themselves back just so they could help.

Another one of those moon signs who come off as really serious, cold, and calculating; but they’re really softies (and drama queens) deep down, especially when they have water placements. Might also like to keep themselves busy with other things so they won’t have to experience an Emotion™️. I always like to say that Capricorns are just Scorpios in suits lol

I also noticed that with Moon in 10H, it can indicate a tendency of your parents to baby you?? idk but i definitely feel those vibes from Rodya and Pulcheria, esp when she first sees him, his room ("this isn't a room, this is a coffin"), and when he visits her for the last time. or maybe this manifests even as becoming "softer" when you're with your parents?? there's something so sadly endearing abt how Rodya talks in this scene:

"Here you are!" she began, faltering with joy. "Don't be angry with me, Rodya, for welcoming you so foolishly with tears. [...] Sit down dear boy, you must be tired; I see you are. Ah, how muddy you are." "I was in the rain yesterday, mother..." Raskolnikov began.

They might also have a thing for needing something to hold onto when they’re feeling upset/unwell? Capricorn’s cardinal energy mixed with a fixed Scorpio sun further points to being “twitchy” bc they can’t sit still (all that Mars influence,,) — cue “where’s my sock!! give me my sock!!!”

Another placement that points to Rodya's want of gaining some sort of "power" or "control" — and he has the capacity to do so, too (how he goes about obtaining it though, is another conversation). He can be (could have been) really successful if he wills himself to. Moon in 10H natives have this air to them of being well-established in whatever field they choose to dedicate their efforts in.

Feels emotions really deeply when they do allow themselves to (or when faced with the inevitable fate of experiencing them lol). I find that Saturnians are also kind of like Plutonians when it comes to feelings. When they invest in an emotion, you best believe they will feel it to its fullest; which is why I believe that underneath Rodya’s prideful and cold exterior is a heart that is capable of feeling love in the deepest, most profound way. What he said in Part 6 Chapter 7: “But why are they so fond of me if I don’t deserve it? Oh, if only I were alone and no one loved me, and I too had never loved anyone! Nothing of all this would have happened.” (Constance Garnett translation) — really broke my heart knowing Rodya fought against the desire to jump into the Neva because he knew he was loved despite his wrongdoings and all his rough edges; this consciousness was very strong that he felt regretful about being so loved by the people around him. He’s so,, :^(((( I just want to give him a hug :^(( he’ll probably cuss me out but whatever :<

Pig-headed, and will not stop until they get to do what they want to do. My partner is a Capricorn sun and it’s more or less the same — the moment Capricorns set their mind on something, they will see to it that they get it done, no matter what. Pair that with a really driven Aries rising and a Scorpio sun, and you have an unstoppable force.

Moon Conjunct Jupiter: drama queen placement wbk; i made a post about how i always associate Rodya draping himself over his couch like a D*sney princess would XD we just feel emotions deeply and we tend to get pretty extra about expressing it too, esp in front of people we trust,, or idk anyone who's willing to listen really. Though in Rodya's case, his Moon is also conjunct his Saturn, which means he limits his expression of emotions; or that he hides it from others — bro would rather choke than be direct with what he actually feels

Moon Square Pluto: another limiting aspect on his expression of emotions, though this aspect gives his capability to feel more depth and dimension. so when Rodya gets into his feelings, he really plunges into it. at the same time, the obscure yet volatile energy of Pluto also adds another layer to his Aries rising's impulsivity. Additionally, his Moon coming into contact with his Pluto in a square may also indicate pain that stems from the family / the mother. all that this placement reminds me of is that last conversation he had with Pulcheria. the most gut-wrenching shit i've ever read/watched.

WHEW. That's only like half of his big 6 placements. I'm currently working on the others (Mercury, Venus, Mars), but I might not be able to finish/get the post up any time soon because I'll be starting the last semester of my undergrad next week, and I'll no doubt be very busy again 😔

RIIZE Solar Return Transit Chart Really Short Analysis

I decided to open up RIIZE’s Solar Return X Natal Transit Chart!! Andd here we go!

RIIZE has their SR Libra Lilith and Venus transiting to RIIZE’s NC in the 11th house, and this makes sense because the news/drama going around is about Eunseok dating the infamous HSH’s best friend.

Mercury Leo in the 9th house, this is making a lot of noise on social media, and has even reached intl. fans asking SM to protect their idols from their scandals/rumors being spread.

Aespa's natal chart analysis

I am not professional astrologist. It's just for fun^^ There may be some mistakes in the interpretation. Source: my own knowledge and understanding + internet

It's my first time doing analysis for a group. It was very hard and took me a lot of time.

Aespa is a girlsband from South Korea. The members of this gg is: Karina, Giselle, Winter and Ningning.

What I see at first glance: capricorn stellium and cardinal quality.

Capricorn stellium in 9h suggests hard-working, down-to-earth group focused on foregin market.

Cardinal quality stands for change bringers, trendsetters, bringing new instead of following others.

Sun in Scorpio. Sun represents ego, core identity, the leader figures for the group, the mission of the group. Scorpio is very private sign that likes control. It also is connected with transformation. In 6h it may mean they look for a way that transforms. Also there may be some obsessive tendencies in the group and a high need for individuality. Aespa doesn't want to rely on others. They don't want anyone to interupt their work on a daily basis.

Sun in Scorpio trine Neptune in Pisces. Aespa has a lot of creative potential. They have a charm. Through they work they can express this intuitive feeling and atmosphere that strikes the heart of their community.

Moon in Sagittarius. The Moon symbolizes emotions, instincts, and the subconscious. In this context, the Moon can indicate the group’s emotional connection with fans, its internal dynamics, and the members’ involvement in the group. It is the planet that governs the group’s public image and its internal culture. The Sagittarius is a warm-hearted zodiac sign with adventurous spirit. As a fire sign, it's passionate. Placed in a 7h suggests long-term relationships are valued by the group and by group memebers. The emotional connection with fans is fun and light-hearted, very friendly for sure.

Moon in Sagittarius sextile Venus in Libra. Good aspect in domestic and partnership matters. Brings harmony and well-being.

Moon in Sagittarius square Neptune in Pisces. This aspect may mean that the vision of the group/company is different from reality, what the members truly wants as a group. It may suggest forced public image. Or the community is forcing certain images on the group that doesn't necessary are close to what a group truly is.

Mercury in Scorpio. "Mercury represents communication, intellect, sales and services. Its placement in a group’s chart can highlight the group’s communication strategies, its analytical strengths coming from the senior management, and its dissemination of information, health and environmental concerns of the work force, company books, secretaries and clerical staff, telephone operators, software, advertising, print and publishing media, training facilities, food products and supply services, veterinary, doctors, trade, commerce and short trips. It’s the planet of ideas and exchanges." It's honestly not a good placement to have. Scorpio is a very private sign + it's water sign. 6h helps a little, suggesting communcation is going through on a daily basis, but... It's not very outspoken sign. When the communication have place it's propably very sharp, intuitive, emotional, obsessive.

Mercury in Scorpio opposite to Uranus in Taurus. Through what is represented by those placements in opposition... I think there's a very restless energy that may somwhow disrupt the flow. It can make sudden changes, innovations harder to grasp, because the concept came out differently than physical version.

Venus in Libra. "Venus embodies harmony, relationships, assets and values. In a group chart, Venus can indicate the group’s approach to partnerships, its brand appeal, and its financial health. It’s the planet of beauty, balance, and resources. A well-placed Venus (as in this case) indicates a pleasant work environment with pleasing aesthetics and pleasure perks. It also signifies possible merger, or the public’s approval of its products and services." Libra in Venus here is in home. Natal Chart Analysis : Chamber

First of all this is headcanon of mine and im not an expert in analyzing birth charts, i only know little about this so i got some help from my acquiantances. I compared his chart qualities with his lore , his personality and his voice lines in this article. The comparison can be irrelevant on some parts because of my lack of knowledge in English. Please respect even if this doesnt meet with your expectations i have put a lot of effort in this. This is hell of a long article. I have written with some a lot of details and i cut it short, otherwise it would be hell of a long article than it already is. I had to think about general species of the zodiac signs and i found Scorpio as the most suitable zodiac sign to him. I went from his release date (16 November) as reference, and for his birth year all i knew was he is between 25-30 years old. So i calculated every year between 1993-1998. As his birthplace (i dont know if RIOT gave this type of information about this) i went with Paris because i have no idea where he can be born in France. In the end i came to the conclusion that his birthdate and birthplace may be : 13 November 1993 07.10 pm Paris/France

THE SUN IN SCORPIO

There might be some/a lot of information on the chart that doesnt fit him, but its hard to make a whole chart fit to defined character (since all the calculations are already hard to find to fit his personality).

ABOUT ME

I am 22. I live in Ontario, but am moving to Alberta at the end of the summer. You can expect to hear me talk about this a lot, as the mountains are home to me and I am extremely excited about this move. My ex-partner, whom I currently live with, will not be coming with me. John Spenkelink was a convicted murderer who was sentenced to death. He was the 2nd person in the United States to be sentenced to death after the death penelty was reintroduced in 1976. He was killed by electric chair in May 1979 at 30 years old.

Mini Analysis: Mako Komuro

Here's our surprise focus for, I guess, my first semi-formal breakdown on a former public figure? Yay! I was going through my main blog and came across the semi-old post regarding her and her husband and I went to go check up on them and fell down a rabbit hole lmao, so here I am!

Introduction

If you are familiar with the British royals and engage in all of that drama, then you might've caught wind of something similar around 2017 in regards to the Japanese imperial family. If you didn't, I'll try and summarize. She was the eldest of her family and it was pretty much a done deal that she was to marry her childhood love/friend, and the imperial family will move as always. However, during her time at University, she met her now husband and they both made the announcement that they were going to be getting married instead, and if you're familiar with royal families and breaking tradition, then yeah. There is a lot more to be said about it, and I'll reference some pieces as I go on, but I encourage you to read up it yourself!

Natal Chart

Mako, formerly known as 'Princess Mako of Akishino', was born on October 23rd 1991. Making her a Libra Sun, Taurus Moon, and Leo Rising!

There is a lot to look at within her chart but I'll try and keep it short. Her chart ruler being Libra in the third house points to both elegance but also keeping up appearances. By that I mean communication, family ties, fairness, governing over close community and making sure everyone is cared for, the energy of overseeing with a gentle fist. Her sun is at a critical degree, teetering between one house and the other -- there will be some leakage from the fourth here. However at the same time, there's a heaviness that you have to make sure everyone likes you -- or at least sees your best side most of the time. Always saying the right thing. Her moon being in Taurus would usually help balance the struggle there, but it's opposing her Sun. Her Taurus moon sitting in the tenth is going to tell everyone that she's always gentle, generous, motherly, stable, reliable -- like the perfect archetype since the moon is exalted here. So what does that really mean for her:

It's slightly suffocating in a way. In private, she can probably work through these issues and come to a solution. In public there is a lot of give and not much take. Long time followers know how I feel about Libra. So you have moon in a sign that is pleasant but it also doesn't put up with much. Then you have her ego in a sign that will be diplomatic but it's also Air, Cardinal, and Masculine. If they want to tell you something they will, and the signs that influence that are usually Fire signs, Scorpio, and maybe Gemini. Guess what she has? Scorpio Stellium. Her Sun conjuncts her Mars, and that Mars opposes her Moon as well. So her ego works well with her ethic and if she gets a little heated, they're friends. Both of those elements are not too compatible with how she works with her emotions or that landscape. There can be frustrations with the ego not getting the emotional needs in order, and not properly handling their feelings -- but I'd say it's more like containing everything because we also have a Moon square Saturn which we'll touch later. But that gives us a??!!! T-SQUARE!! THAT'S RIGHT!! This causes a lot of friction and emotional bubbling. We have a tenth Moon going against that cluster of aggression within the fourth, and then the T-Square. This can always point to struggles or issues while growing up but I'm not going to get into that since it seems personal and it was hinted at anyway.

A T-Square is when you have two planets opposing each other, and both of those planets will square another. If you head back to the chart and look at Moon, Mars, and Saturn: you'll notice it's making a tiny little red triangle. That's your T-Square.

I'm going to end her natal section with two more things. Her Scorpio influence along with an earth moon and Libra Sun? Yes there was a struggle growing up, but it was more like struggling for control over herself and if that struggle was worth the outcome. Both these elements are very protective over themselves but they don't like sacrificing those that they care for, and I don't doubt that she still loves or holds a special place for her family. Her Virgo Venus adds another layer to such a level of dutifulness, care, love, and sincerity that even if she wasn't born into this family, I think she'd naturally just hold that air to her.

Now I'm going to get into the love aspect of her chart because it's insanely cute and I'm merely in the clutches of my cancer venus okay

Seventh House

So everyone usually points to Aqua in the seventh as finding someone who is unusual a little quirky a little Out There, but her husband is just some cool guy who seems really sweet tbh. So now we have to remember the context, and of course all the headlines that popped up and like only recently disappeared once people moved on:

I'm not joking when this happened none of us knew his name he was just known as "Commoner Boyfriend". So considering she was born into an Imperial Family, and was expected to marry a certain person -- yeah the Aqua theme still fits because it's still unusual, and yes her Saturn sitting there fits perfectly with this, but we'll get into that

So her seventh house ruler is sitting. . .in the seventh! Which means meeting them through someone or making new connections, meeting in a formal setting, meeting through business, etc. Which, they did meet at university -- which yes yes is ninth house territory, but it's still a somewhat formal setting AND the University was for International students and those who wanted to go abroad. So that's meeting new people and painting this meeting with the qualities for Aquarius, which people need to remember that it's co-ruled by Saturn for a reason. Aquarius will not throw caution to the wind for no reason. It looks at what's in place and sees what needs to go, and what can stay. If something is no longer working for it, then it gets trashed. If things are fine, then they can stay. It utilizes Saturn in a less suffocating way.

Now, her Saturn Squares her Moon & Mars yes, but it also Squares her Sun. A ton of restriction and like. Rules when it comes to affection, love, or even expression. But they're self-inflicted in a way, like after being punished so much you understand you kinda have to do it this way. Her Saturn actually isn't making one soft aspect in her chart. Which brings me to this relationship bringing nothing but hardship and possibly being a late marriage (which leo can sometimes point to if there's enough to back it up, or at least delayed), but definitely a ton of obstacles to break through, but if you have dedication it can work. There was a moment of piece before the public had outcry against them, digging way deep into her spouse's family history for whatever 'dirt' they could find, the family was resistant to give them blessings, and they had to delay their wedding (which ironically took place during her saturn return, so...blessing?????) due to a financial dispute over the ex-fiance.

However if we look at her Juno next, it's in a really cute spot. Capricorn in the Sixth. She's looking for a soft stable relationship. Something with structure, someone she can come home to, help her forget about the stress of the world, and that's exactly what she said about him

her attention was captured by his "bright smile that seemed like the sun". If she'd ever questioned whether she'd marry, falling in love with Kei made it clear to her that what she truly wanted was to have "a warm and comfortable household" and "a family full of smiles".

"To me he is irreplaceable," she would tell the world. "Our marriage is a necessary step for us to be able to protect our hearts in a cherishing way. We, the two of us, will start our new life. I guess there will be different types of difficulties, but we want to live together by working together."

I was going to add a piece about her Saturn return in here, but this is already loooooooooooong so I won't lol. I'll just say there was a revelation about relationships, what she really wanted, and a major shift (which was, obvious now).

Another piece is that I think a soft trend with those bearing an Aqua Descendant that's working strong is that: a road to pursuing a spouse you want might not be easy. Depending on the aspects it's making and what else is happening; someone might have to give up a lot. That's not easy to ask. Mako gave up her title and moved to another country, but she's happy because she's with someone she loves, even if that upsets a shit ton of people. Depending on the other person, they might've had to do that in order to stay with the Aqua Desc native. It depends on the situation at hand, but this is no easy placement to have unless it's really being helped.

Right now they're living a happy life doing what they both want, and I'm super happy for them. No, Kei isn't some white dude from California, but he was more than enough to absolutely shake up a lot of things within the family and Japan itself. So her Aqua descendant is working just as it should. I'm wishing them the best and I'm glad everything worked out for them and I hope it continues to do so!!

♉︎ Baekhyun Birth Chart Analysis ♉︎

With Baekhyun now back from the military, I thought it would be a great time in doing a birth chart analysis. I found his birth time on a Twitter account called Kpop astrology archive.

Disclaimer: All these are for entertainment purposes only. DO take my words with a grain of salt.

Asteroids and astrological body that will be discussed in depth in this post are Ceres, Juno and Black Moon Lilith (BML) as they show up prominent in my research.

Most of the planets are in the southern hemisphere (yes, the upper half of the natal chart is called southern hemisphere). No wonder Baekhyun has an out going personality. He has no problem displaying who he is in the public sphere and socialise with others.

A T-square with Sun in 12th house in Taurus opposite Pluto in 6th house in Scorpio and Saturn being the apex in the 10th house in Aquarius: Damn, the amount of tension this astrological pattern brings... The way that Baekhyun natural tendency to just find a private place to chill is in direct conflict with his subconscious desire to work passionately with the additional struggle to build something unconventional but long-lasting in career sprinkled on top. I am afraid Baekhyun's soul won't get to rest before he has cemented himself as one of the greatest vocalists in the Kpop industry as the apex of T-square is often the outlet of this overwhelming tension a native experiences. (He is already a well-recognised vocalist, but there is certainly a next level for his career. He will get there, no worries.) Sun trines Uranus-Neptune conjunction in 8th house Capricorn: In short, this man is dreamy and quirky but in a dark, scorpionic way. This configuration reminds me of the Surrealist paintings that explores the subconscious. Sun squares BML in 9th house in Aquarius: This man struggles with being absolutely free and being his conservative self. He may feel a sense of fatal attraction from rebellious women. Not the type that he will naturally chase after in normal circumstances, but he will be tempted.

Moon in 1st house in Gemini: This man wears his heart on his sleeve. May periodically get puffy face as the moon wanes and waxes. Moon square Mars in 11th house in Aries: His interactions (in the worst case, competitions) with friends, his fans, especially netizens, affect his emotions greatly. He would like his social circles to keep up with him especially mentally and can get frustrated with that isn't the case. A minor grand trine with the Moon trining Saturn and Mercury as the apex in 11th house in Aries: Baekhyun has a talent for structurally communicating his feelings that makes sense to both the logics and emotions. That is what makes Baekhyun appealing to his social circles.

Mercury squares the Uranus-Neptune conjunction in 8th house: This man can have very kinky and dirty thoughts and he will say them. Mercury-Uranus natives don't have the best filter in the cosmo, especially when the aspect is in square. Mercury conjuncts Juno in 11th house in Aries: Future spouse is likely to embody Gemini or Virgo energy. I am leading more towards the Gemini archetype. Talkative, smart, petite, lightweight, almost feels like a fairy. Baekhyun will be friends with this future spouse of his first, friends to lovers trope. This future spouse will be very direct and have a cut-throat sense of humour.

Venus in 12th house in Taurus trines Jupiter in 4th house in Virgo: Judging by the natal chart, Baekhyun seems to have a happy childhood, at least around his family. And he loves this lighthearted feeling and wants to replicate it in his romantic relationships. But he will have his high standards in love as Jupiter in Virgo is known for their high standards and perfectionism. Combined with his Taurus Venus in 12th house, he enjoys keeping his romantic business hidden from the public and loves having physical touches with his romantic partners. He will most likely take his romantic partners to try out restaurants he deems has the best food in town. I mean, that is Taurus Venus for ya. Venus square Ceres in 9th house in Aquarius: This further exaggerates Baekhyun's tendency to take good care of his romantic partner as Ceres represents nourishment and support. Ceres in Aquarius means that Baekhyun's way of nourishing is more intellectual. For example, when his romantic partner is bothered by something, he will nourish his partner through being the voice of reason or providing ideas of solutions.

Mars Trines Pluto: Baekhyun has a deep reservoir of energy. He puts his energy in working. And as Pluto aspects Mars in the 11th house, Baekhyun put in efforts in expanding his social circles, especially he will actively cultivate connections that will be beneficial his work.

Ascendant in Gemini sextiles Mars and squares Jupiter: A very energetic and outgoing personality. Very talkative himself.

Midheaven conjuncts Saturn and BML: Very responsible for his career. A very good sign of succeeding in his chosen profession. But Saturn delays things. Baekhyun's career will most likely soar after his Saturn return which will be after his discharge from the military. (I know he is already a huge Kpop star, but he will be even better. The stars promise that.) And BML is support that. As much as how public hates the Lilithian archetype, they can't help but be drawn to natives with prominent BML as natives with prominent BML offers something different. (Think of Billie Eilish, she is also a singer with prominent Lilith. She is doing music that is drastically different from everybody else.)
