can we please destroy the idea that kageyama is a sex-obsessed animal who can't control himself?? like c'mon this boy is just,,,
he's just confused all the time??? he's just as clueless as the rest of the one-brain cell squad
and he's just so??? adorable??? this is the boy who tries his hardest to be the setter his team trusts and needs cos he's scared of the incident that happened in middle school and left him with lasting trauma
he even tries to communicate with tsukki!!
he really admires hinata's trust in him??? he wants that trust. yes he's human and he makes mistakes and he's not perfect but i don't see him doing anything to break hinata's trust
if anything, when he starts dating hinata, i feel like kageyama would be doting af. he's really awkward and socially inept (i really think he is autistic) but that's not a reason to turn him into an animal who's driven by desire?? he'd try his best to be respectful and mindful of hinata's boundaries. like yes maybe he'd mess up at first, but everyone messes up sometimes, it takes communication!!
yes he does a lot of roughhousing with hinata but the art style changes to show that it's for comedic effect. haikyuu is classified as a comedy slice-of-life. he's not physically abusive and he doesn't force himself into situations.
he even tries to talk to kenma!! and when kenma runs away he leaves him alone, he's just confused cos he doesn't know how talk to people.
in conclusion:
i'm definitely not hating on nsfw content, it's ok for that content to exist!!! absolutely!!! but i hate that a lot of ppl depict kageyama as this sex-crazed beast when he's really just a socially awkward cinnamon roll bean who, deep down, is touched by hinata's trust in him. karasuno has to teach him how to high-five. he's canonically the youngest on the team, including yachi. there's no way he'd know how to do a bunch of sexual stuff, esp not as a teen?? if hinata said to stop, he would. he wants trust. he wants good relationships. he tries really hard to develop them at karasuno. he's definitely not an animal. :( he's just doing his best.

so i know in canon jinwoo makes a lot of food comments and i think he cooks a whole variety of foods when their mom wakes up from her coma but i like to hc that neither him nor jinah are very good at cooking 😂
like. lots of microwaved meals, convenience foods, instant ramen. and then when he makes more money as he climbs the ranks, so much take-out.
maybe i've played too much tears of the kingdom but imagine if the way to impress jinwoo is thru his stomach?? like. no, jinho, he's not going to this event with other hunters, nope. never.
...what's that?? there's food?? he's already there. oh and who made these cookies, they're delicious, can he take some of this home for his sister please?? he's usually so reserved but he prbly gets so happy over a meal, just munchin away.

ofc it's ok!! there's a blog with that same username, but i'm really shy and i don't want to tag it in case they're not the same person who sent the ask, esp cos this is my first request!!! <3 but i will tag @hnkgkghn cos she mentioned that she'd love a kagehina version. anyway, as promised:
kageyama & hinata are totally demi for each other
for all the mindless bickering, kageyama is such a doting bf and tsukki & yamaguchi tease him endlessly for it (yachi thinks it's adorable)
this doesn't mean he stops being doting af
kageyama gets jealous easily but doesn't do much abt it cos "ofc hinata would attract attention, it's in his personality/he's the greatest decoy"
hinata also gets jealous easily and he's a little more vocal abt it and this leads to a heart-to-heart between them where they both assure each other that they're each other's only in their own ways <333
kageyama's love language is quality time
hinata's love language is physical touch
kageyama is touched-starved and doesn't know how to ask for physical affection
hinata realises this before kageyama does, but he doesn't mention it out loud. he does, however, amp up the physical affection
hinata is the main person who introduces kageyama to other hobbies besides volleyball (i.e. anime/manga, video games, social media, etc.)
even when/if they're dating, they don't call each other by their given names until they're at least out of high school (cos they're awkward beans)
when it finally happens it's like a shoujo moment: kageyama does it on accident/impulse and hinata is so flustered that he doesn't know how to respond and once kageyama realises he's done it, he's equally flustered

he prbly doesn't do it again for a long time but hinata won't forget it so eventually he brings up and shyly requests that kageyama continue to do it cos he likes it
kageyama and hinata adopt a cat together post-time skip and her name is sunshine
kageyama is the one who picked her name (she reminds him of hinata—she's a bright spot in his life and cuddly)
they celebrate kageyama's grandfather's birthday every single year and have done that since their second year of high school
kageyama gets all of romantic advice from a cluster of people: asahi, suga, yamaguchi, iwaizumi, and oikawa (and maybe atsumu)
hinata gets all of his romantic advice from a cluster of people: asahi, noya, suga, tanaka, yachi, kogane, and yamaguchi

i want a social media au where everything’s kinda the same (maybe they could be a bit older, like college age??) except hinata gains a bit of a following on social media (like, for vb, and maybe he does silly tik tok dance trends with noya, and other shenanigans that he sort of drags the rest of karasuno and other hq characters/teams into) but then there's this teeny space of his acct where his followers are like "did u ask out the setter yet?" or "is that your bf?"
and hinata is like??? huh?? and then ppl are sending him karasuno art and art with him and kageyama (ofc, leading to the ship name kagehina) and he's like, oh. oh. and then he blows up massively cos of his and kageyama's not-relationship and kageyama has no idea but hinata knows, and suddenly it becomes hinata trying to figure out how to get kageyama's attention as he realises his feelings haha
like imagine multiple ppl from multiple teams follow him cos he's karasuno's sunshine number 10 and who doesn't love him and they watch as he descends into this... chaotic pining madness and kageyama is so oblivious cos he's kageyama
