Nothing Matters Robert Lloyd and The New Four Seasons (In Tape) (released in 1988)
The second EP that Robert Lloyd and The New Four Seasons delivered in 1988 was this piece of pure 80's pop. It doesn't run nine minutes long like Something Nice but it does run almost seven minutes and it is another pop jewel. When I bought this, I bought it from the same dealer who was offering up Something Nice. I figured since I was ordering this from the UK, I might as well make shipping worth my while. He had a second Robert Lloyd 12 inch and I opted for both of them. (He also had a seven inch in picture sleeve of one of my all time favorite songs, Shatter by Shelleyan Orphan, but it throw the cost to outrageous figures. I was already dropping over $40 for both these 12 inches and I could not justify another $20 for a seven inch.
Another reason to buy this Robert Lloyd EP is because on both the cover and the back of the album he is using stills from one of my favorite directors: Luis Buñuel and his debut short film 1929 masterpiece: Un Chien Andalou (a film so "repulsive" that audiences ripped the seats out of the theatre and threw them at the screen). Imagine! So, of curse, above you see the album cover and the back of the jacket. Below, you get to see both sides of the record label.
