was very confused to see miles discourse regarding The Clip from his most recent reel so i'll give my two cents unprovoked
idk how to say this without sounding like a complete prick but some of the comments i've seen seem like pure projection. i understand and respect anyone that has dealt with religious trauma and therefore dislikes / has a distrust of the church, religious ppl, etc etc. i also completely understand anyone that dislikes religion because of the ways its been used to justify awful things. that being said, i don't think its fair in the slightest to give someone the side eye for doing something inherently religious. yes YOU may have had a terrible experience but your story is not the same as anyone else's. miles choosing to say a prayer for friends, family, fans etc doesn't mean a damn thing. he's just going out of his way to wish good things for the people he cares about. i understand being surprised he did something like that BUT it becomes a very different story when surprise turns into "why is he doing that" or any other comment with malicious undertones
