i hateeee jokes about arab parents only wanting sons and not wanting daughters because 1- when it's like that, that's an awful thing and not something to be joked about and 2- it spits on the face of every arab parent who consistently has to put their middle finger up to the world and say fuck you my daughter is my greatest treasure and i'd rather have her than a thousand sons and i won't hear a word against her!! because in my experience these are the most loving parents to be found in the whole wide world

A sleepy letter for my sweetheart.

Cheesy as it is, candid it is too. It's Tumblr, so my pride won't take its tomb. A day so young it was, in as many chapters so far of our story explored. Immaturity or fun, it made its mark galore. Somehow, in teenage bliss all shames and shys left, to my own devices i was kept. Boldness perhaps, or a heart filled with blood the colour red of a rose. But, back then I said the words, and a reply I got to shake my world, I said, "I was wrong.. we Do fit in each other's lives.. through the cracks though, like our bodies when we hug." and I heard, "Through the cracks. Like how your hands fits in mine." I like to believe so, darling, because much like our hands and bodies so do the bracelets we crafted, resting comfortably on each other's wrists, a reminder..
