Max Verstappen
Tumblr media
You sighed as you sat down to have your morning tea as usual, trying to pretend that nothing was wrong. As if you hadn't spent all night long getting your phone spammed with calls that you were ignoring.
After mindlessly roaming around for a bit, you eventually decided to crash at your best friend’s place. You lazily waved at her as she frantically got ready to leave for work. However, you were on your tiptoe as soon as the door opened.
A body that was possibly sleeping while leaning against the door fell inside and you heard curses that you were quite too familiar with. Your heart clenched at the sight of your boyfriend - or perhaps now, your ex-boyfriend - on his knees, nursing the wound on his head. The ache of seeing him in pain reignited the anguish you thought you had left behind.
“Okay,” you heard your friend murmur. “I'm gonna let you guys get to it.” She was out the door a second later.
You looked at the closed door instead of the man who was desperately trying to make eye contact with you.
“How long have you…” You trailed off before deciding that you didn't want to know.
“As soon as you turned your phone off, Y/N! I've been here since last night.” "Why?" you choked out, the words barely escaping your lips as tears threatened to overflow. His brows furrowed before he ran his hands over his face and got up to sit right next to you. You saw his hand itching toward yours and instinctively pulled it towards your body. "Because I needed to see you in person, to talk." He took another deep breath and you later realized that he was trying to stop himself from crying. “I realize I messed up, baby. I.. I never should have let you walk out.” But his attempt to mend the shattered pieces of your relationship only served to reopen the wounds, your walls instinctively rising in defense,"Talk? You think a talk is going to fix everything?" Max's eyes were filled with a mix of regret and desperation as he reached out for your hand, his fingers trembling slightly. "No, I don't think a talk will magically fix everything," he admitted, his voice raw with emotion.
"But it's a start. I need you to know that I'm truly sorry for what happened. I hate myself for hurting you, for making you doubt how much you mean to me."
You couldn't bring yourself to meet his gaze, the pain of the previous night still too fresh in your mind.
“How can I trust you again, Max? How can I be sure that this won't happen again?" Your voice was barely a whisper, filled with the ache of betrayal.
Max's grip on your hand tightened, his eyes pleading for understanding. "I know I've messed up, Y/N. But I'm willing to do whatever it takes to earn back your trust. I'll work on my temper, I’ll be better to you, I'll do anything you ask of me. I just need you to give me another chance." “You know you’ve always been the best to me, right? I just can’t believe that instead of talking it out yesterday, you straight up skipped to breaking up wit-” Fresh tears started falling down your cheeks. Max immediately leaned forward to hold you in his arms and you let him because you needed him. But how could you trust him again? How could you be sure that history wouldn't repeat itself? That he won’t throw away your whole relationship just because the anger got a hold of him? As Max held you close, you felt a wave of conflicting emotions wash over you. Part of you wanted to push him away, to scream and shout at him for causing you so much pain. But another part of you craved his warmth, his touch, his presence.
"I'm sorry, Y/N," Max whispered, his voice thick with emotion. "I know I messed up, and I hate myself for it. I never meant to hurt you, I swear."
You buried your face in his chest, the tears soaking through his shirt as you struggled to make sense of your feelings.
“I just don't know if I can do this anymore, Max," you admitted, your voice muffled against him. Max tightened his embrace, his arms wrapping around you protectively. "I understand," he murmured, his voice gentle. His admission eased your thumping heart a bit, you were glad to have him back. The storm within you finding a momentary calm.
"I made you feel like our relationship was disposable, like breaking up was no big deal. But that couldn't be further from the truth. You're the most important person in my life, baby and the thought of losing you terrifies me. I'll do whatever it takes to make things right between us, to show you just how much you mean to me. I'll do whatever it takes to earn back your trust if you still want me."
Lewis Hamilton
Tumblr media
The weight of Lewis's words hung heavy in the air, suffocating you as you retreated into the sanctuary of your bedroom. Tears streamed down your cheeks unchecked, your heart aching with a pain you couldn't quite comprehend. How had a day that started with such a promise turned into this? You buried your face in your hands, the sting of Lewis's words feeling like acid running through your veins.
Outside the door, the silence was deafening, broken only by the muffled sound of your sobs. Lewis stood frozen in place, his mind racing as he replayed the exchange in his head.
He couldn't believe the words that had escaped his lips, couldn't fathom how he had allowed his frustration to morph into such hurtful remarks.
Minutes stretched into eternity as Lewis grappled with the weight of his actions, the gravity of his words settling like a lead weight in his chest.
He wanted to reach out to you, to apologize and make things right, but his feet remained rooted to the spot, paralyzed by the magnitude of his mistake.
Inside the bedroom, you were consumed by a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. Anger, hurt, betrayal - they all swirled together into an ugly monster, threatening to engulf you whole.
How could the man you loved, the man who had always been your rock, turn on you with such venom?
But beneath the anger and hurt, there was a flicker of doubt, a gnawing fear that maybe Lewis's words held a grain of truth. Maybe you were too insecure, too needy, too demanding. Maybe you were asking for too much, expecting him to be there for you when he had his own priorities and responsibilities. Maybe-
The sound of a soft knock on the door snapped you out of your thoughts, and you looked up to see Lewis standing there, his expression wrought with regret and guilt. For a moment, neither of you spoke, the weight of the unspoken apology hanging heavy in the air. Looking at him distraught made your chest feel worse. How could he make you feel ten fold worse than this and not feel a thing?
"I'm sorry," Lewis finally whispered, his voice barely audible. "I didn't mean what I said. I was out of line, and I know I hurt you. Please, let me make it right." He rushed through the words.
His words pierced through the haze of your pain, and you felt a bit of heaviness leaving your body. He crossed the room in a few strides, dropping to his knees in front of you, his eyes pleading for forgiveness.
"I don't know what came over me," he admitted, his voice thick with emotion before your boyfriend took your hand away from your face and kissed your cheeks. "I was so caught up in my own frustrations that I lashed out at you, and I hate myself for it. You don't deserve to be treated that way, especially not by me."
You studied his face, searching for any sign of insincerity, but all you saw was genuine remorse and regret. And despite the pain still raw in your chest, you couldn't deny the love you felt for him, the longing to mend what had been broken between you. “You hurt me,” you whispered but didn’t push him away as he laid down with you, holding you close to his chest. Some of your resolve wavering when you felt his fast heartbeat. “I wanted you there so much.” He nodded as he shushed you, his own eyes dropping tears. “I’m so so sorry, baby. I can't even begin to express how deeply I regret the way I acted the whole day, I know you deserve so much more but-” You shifted slightly, knowing all that you wanted right now was comfort, you didn't want to forgive him or minimize the weight of his actions. "I don't know if I can right now," you replied, your voice trembling with the weight of your emotions.
Lewis's eyes brimmed with tears as he whispered, "Please don't shut me out. I can't bear the thought of losing you."
You felt a pang of guilt at the pain evident in his voice. "I just need some time to process everything," you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper.
"I understand," Lewis replied, his tone filled with sorrow. "But please know that I'm here whenever you're ready to talk."
You nodded, silently acknowledging his words as you allowed yourself to be enveloped in his comforting embrace.
"I promise to make it up to you," Lewis vowed earnestly, his voice laced with determination. "I'll do whatever it takes to earn back your trust."
"I want to believe you," you admitted quietly, your heart heavy with uncertainty. Everything was a little too raw right now and your emotions were all over the place.
"I'll spend every moment proving it to you," Lewis declared, his eyes locking with yours in a silent vow.
“I was thoughtless and cruel today, and I never should have let those words leave my lips. You are not insecure, you are strong and resilient, baby. You deserve so much better than the hurtful words I spoke. Please know that I can’t lose you, Y/N. I will work tirelessly to regain your trust and rebuild what I have so carelessly shattered. You mean the world to me, and I will spend every moment striving to be worthy of your love.”
Carlos Sainz
Tumblr media
As you sat nervously in your childhood home, the familiar sights and sounds providing little comfort, your mind raced with thoughts of disappointment and hurt.
For the third time, Carlos had failed to join you in meeting your parents, leaving you to face their questioning looks and unspoken concerns alone. You had rehearsed what you would say to them, how you would explain his absence, but each time, the words caught in your throat, choked by a mixture of frustration and sadness. For the past few days since you walked out of your apartment, you had been ignoring Carlos’ attempts to reconcile with you. The calls and texts he spammed you with were ignored and curses left your mouth as soon as your mind went back to the day of the argument, bringing unwanted tears to your eyes.
In the passing, you saw a Ferrari conference being conducted and as much as you wanted to reach out and talk it out with him, your heart did flips that you were sure you should have visited a doctor for.
Your parents, ever perceptive, noticed your unease as you fidgeted with the napkin in your lap, casting worried glances in your direction. You tried to muster a reassuring smile, but it faltered, betraying the turmoil within you.
How could you explain to them that the man you loved couldn't find the time to meet them, despite his promises and assurances? "What's wrong, sweetie?" your mom asked, concern evident in her voice.
You sighed, hesitating for a moment before replying, "It's Carlos... He like…"
Your dad's brow furrowed. "Is everything okay?"
You tried to muster a reassuring smile. "Yeah, he said that he got caught up with work. You know how busy he is with his racing and all..." Your dad’s brows furrowed when you trailed off, about to ask you what exactly you meant but just as you were steeling yourself to broach the subject, the doorbell rang, startling you from your thoughts.
Your heart sank as you realized it was likely a neighbor stopping by to meet you since you don’t visit that often, you stood up to go greet them. But then, to your disbelief, you heard his voice drifting through the door, before you saw your boyfriend standing right behind it. Your head titled in confusion and you drew a breath that took most of the stress from the previous days away from your body.
"Sorry I'm late," he said, his tone apologetic yet determined. Carlos took your hand and kissed it lightly,"Traffic was a nightmare." “What about the conference that you-” “You’re the most important person in my life, Y/N.” He cut you off before pulling you in and walking to the dining room that was in his vision. As if that was the answer to your question.
You turned to face him, your eyes wide with surprise and a flicker of hope. There he was, looking slightly disheveled but undeniably earnest, his gaze that locked on yours was as if it was seeking forgiveness. You could see the sincerity in his eyes, the regret etched in the lines of his face.
Your parents exchanged a glance, their expressions softening as they took in the sight of Carlos standing before them.
Despite their reservations about his repeated absences, they couldn't deny the genuine affection that Carlos held in his eyes when he looked at you.
Before you could find the words to respond, Carlos took a step forward, his hand reaching out tentatively. "I'm really sorry, both of you," he said, addressing your parents directly.
"I know how important this is to you, and I should have made more of an effort to be here on time."
His words hung in the air, a silent acknowledgment of his shortcomings and a pledge to do better. You felt a surge of emotion welling up inside you, a mixture of relief, gratitude, and a glimmer of renewed faith in your relationship. "Well, we're just glad you could make it," your dad said, offering Carlos a handshake.
"Thank you for coming, Carlos," your mother said, her voice warm yet cautious. "We understand that life gets busy, but it's important to make time for the people who matter most."
Carlos nodded, his expression earnest as he met her gaze. "I couldn't agree more. Family means putting in effort, I promise to make it up to all of you."
As you sat down to dinner, the atmosphere was tinged with a sense of reconciliation and hope. Your hand still intertwined with his as you saw him charm your family. Despite the rocky start, Carlos's presence brought a newfound sense of unity and understanding to the table. And as you shared stories and laughter, you couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to mend what had seemed irreparably broken.
In that moment, you realized that love wasn't just about grand gestures or sweeping declarations—it was about the everyday moments of connection and compromise, the willingness to forgive and grow together.
And as you looked at Carlos, his eyes filled with determination and affection, you knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, you would face them together, hand in hand.
Charles Leclerc
Tumblr media
Charles had apologized right after he had said those words and though you had both fallen back into routine, the underlying bitterness and resentment was still present. You weren’t the one initiating any kind of affection from your side and every time Charles was initiating anything, you half assed your way out of it. Was it childish? Probably. But you were still not comfortable with how easily you had forgiven Charles, burying your hurt just to avoid conflict once again despite knowing deep down that he has hurt you probably more than anyone else ever has. These thoughts were running through your head as you sat beside Charles, your heart still heavy with the weight, you couldn't shake the feeling of unease that lingered in the air. Especially because Charles seemed distant, his mind preoccupied with thoughts, that you couldn't help but wonder what exactly they were. Why had he even asked to go on a date today? To break up with you? Suddenly, Pippa appeared, her presence causing the knot to form in your stomach to get tighter. She approached with a confident stride, a charming smile gracing her lips as she greeted Charles with a hug.
"Hey, Charlie!" Pippa exclaimed, her eyes flickering briefly in your direction before returning to Charles. "Long time no see!"
Charles returned her hug, though his embrace seemed somewhat forced. "Hey, Pippa. Yeah, it's been a while."
You observed their interaction closely, your unease growing with each passing moment. Pippa's presence always seemed to unsettle you, and you couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to their friendship than met the eye. Was he gonna break up with you in public and confess his years long feelings for Pippa? Charles glanced at you, his expression softening as he reached for your hand, intertwining his fingers with yours. "I was just out with Y/N today."
You couldn't help but feel a rush of warmth at his actions, his affectionate gesture soothing some of the tension that had been building between you.
"Nice to meet you, Y/N," Pippa said, offering you a friendly smile. "Sorry I didn’t see you next to Charlie."
You returned her smile, though it didn't quite reach your eyes and managed to reply without gagging. "Nice to meet you, Pippa." Charles tightened his grip on your hand, silently reassuring you of his presence and support. "We were just grabbing a coffee," he explained, his gaze flickering between you and Pippa. "Care to join us?"
Pippa hesitated for a moment, her eyes narrowing slightly as she glanced at you before turning back to Charles. "Actually, I was hoping we could catch up alone, if that's okay."
You felt a pang of anxiety at her words, a sense of foreboding settling in the pit of your stomach. Despite your reservations, you nodded, forcing a smile as you released Charles's hand. It was better to walk away yourself than to have Charles dismiss you.
"Of course," you said, though your voice sounded strained even to your own ears. "I'll wait for you outside."
Charles shot you an alarmed look as you stood up,”I’ll see you in a few.” Charles’ hand lingered on yours for a moment longer before you reluctantly let go and made your way to the door.
You leaned against your car and enjoyed the wind for a second. You couldn’t help but catch a glimpse of the exchange between your boyfriend and his best friend sitting inside.
You were half scared to find them kissing or something but, instead a sense of confusion washed over you as you watched the way Pippa was angrily point a finger at Charles and scream at him.
It was a second later when she stormed out before making her way towards you.
"Is he doing this because of you?!" Pippa's accusatory tone sent a shiver down your spine, her words hitting too close to home.
Before you could even process what was happening, Charles emerged from the cafe, his expression determined as he approached you and Pippa.
"Go home, Pippa," he said firmly, his voice leaving no room for argument as he intertwined his hand with yours.
Pippa's eyes blazed with anger, her fists clenched at her sides as she glared at Charles. "You will regret this, Charles!" she spat before storming off, leaving you both standing there in stunned silence.
Once Pippa was out of sight, you turned to Charles, your heart pounding in your chest. "What was that all about?" you asked, your voice trembling slightly.
Charles sighed, running a hand through his hair as he looked at you with apologetic eyes. "I'm sorry you had to witness that, Y/N. Pippa has been... difficult lately."
You frowned, your mind reeling with confusion and frustration. "Difficult how?"
Charles hesitated for a moment, his gaze searching yours as if trying to find the right words. "She's been pushing boundaries, trying to come between us. But I won't let her."
"Hey," he continued, taking your hand in his. "I told Pippa that I wouldn't be spending time with her alone anymore. If she can't accept you, then it's better for us to not be friends at all."
You blinked in surprise, a rush of gratitude flooding through you at his words. "Really?"
Charles nodded, squeezing your hand gently. "Really. You're the most important person in my life, and I won't let anyone come between us."
Tears welled up in your eyes as you wrapped your arms around him, holding him close. "Thank you, Charles. I appreciate you standing up for us."
He smiled softly, squeezing your hand reassuringly. "I'll always stand up for us, Y/N. You mean everything to me."
Tears welled up in your eyes as you threw your arms around him, holding him close. Despite the lingering bitterness and resentment, you couldn't deny the overwhelming love you felt for him in that moment.
Lando Norris
Tumblr media
As you stepped out of the taxi, the cool night air enveloped you, offering a moment of respite from the whirlwind of emotions that had engulfed you throughout the evening.
Your heart still felt heavy with the weight of Lando's hurtful words, but beneath the pain, a numbness resided- knowing deep down that you might’ve just broken up with your boyfriend.
Before you could take another step, you heard the sound of hurried footsteps approaching from behind. Turning around, you saw Lando rushing towards you, his eyes filled with remorse and his expression wrought with sorrow. Your hand instinctively went to your chest, trying to calm the rapid beating of your heart.
"Y/N, please wait," he called out, his voice pleading as he reached your side, breathless from his haste.
You pulled your face to meet his eyes, uncertainty and wariness etched into your features as you met his gaze. Part of you yearned to turn away, to shield yourself from the pain of his words, but another part couldn't help but hope that maybe, just maybe, he was sincere in his apology.
"Lando," you said softly, your voice tinged with a mixture of hurt and apprehension. You wanted to say more but the damn ball in your throat stopped you doing so.
He took a deep breath, his eyes never leaving yours as he searched for the right words to express the depth of his regret. "I know I messed up, Y/N. I hurt you, and I can't even begin to tell you how sorry I am for that."
His words washed over you like a soothing balm, offering a sliver of comfort. But still, you couldn't bring yourself to let go of the hurt that lingered in your heart.
"I should have been there for you tonight, supporting you and showing you how much you mean to me," Lando continued, his voice filled with genuine remorse. "Instead, I let my own selfishness and insecurities get in the way, and for that, I am truly sorry."
Tears welled up in your eyes as you listened to him, the sincerity in his voice echoing the ache in your own heart. You were sure you’ll regret letting go of this amazing relationship without at least attempting to work on it.
Despite the pain he had caused you, you couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe, there was still a chance to rebuild what had been broken.
"I don't expect you to forgive me right away, Y/N," Lando said softly, his hands shaking and showcasing the intensity of his vulnerability.
"I know I have a lot of work to do to earn back your trust and your love. But please, just give me a chance to make things right. I promise to do whatever it takes to show you how much you mean to me, every single day for the rest of my life."
His words hung in the air, heavy with sincerity and remorse, leaving you torn between the desire to hold onto the pain of the past and the hope for a brighter future. As you gazed into his eyes, searching for any hint of insincerity or deceit, all you found was raw honesty and unwavering devotion.
With a heavy heart and a flicker of hope, you reached out to take his hand, intertwining your fingers with his. "I don't know if I'm ready to forgive you just yet, Lando," you whispered, your voice trembling with uncertainty.
Lando takes a step closer, gently cupping your face in his hands. "I'll spend every moment proving I'm worthy of your love, Y/N. Let me show you how much you mean to me, starting from this moment. I'll do whatever it takes to earn back your trust, even if it means giving you the space you need. Just know that I'm here for you, whenever you're ready."

Taking care of his girls (part 1)
Pairing: Carlos Sainz x reader (y/n)
Warnings: none
a/n: another girl dad Carlos because I just can't get enough
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Y/N's pov
The newborn stage is extremely challenging. Sleep deprivation caused by countless sleepless nights, lack of energy, baby crying even though she ate half an hour ago, trying to figure out the cause of her crying, colic, baby not latching, painful feedings or lack of milk production - all that and much more comes when you step into motherhood. Trust me, it is exhausting both physically and mentally and anyone who says otherwise is lying!
However, not much is talked about how demanding and tiring and difficult it is when you are burning with a fever and can barely stand on your feet, and you have a two-year-old daughter who also has a flu and who, in addition to all of that, is a very stubborn daddy's little girl and doesn't really like to listen to anyone except her dad. That two-year-old is our little girl Bea. Bea is a very stubborn and smart girl who is very attached to her dad and loves spending time with him. She is completely enchanted by him and whenever Carlos returns home from the race, she does not separate from him.
We've only recently started taking her to the races, but since she tends to run around the paddock and starts screaming when it's time for Carlos to get in the car, we've decided that we won't be able to follow Carlos everywhere he goes.
This time we could not attend the Grand Prix in Italy for another reason, and that reason was because I caught a flu, which almost knocked me off my feet, and two days later Bea was burning with a fever as well.
Being alone with her while I was sick, doing all the housework, cooking and taking care of her was very difficult and exhausting. I was very worried about her because she had a high temperature, she was very weak, she didn't want to eat much, she was crying all the time and she just wanted me to hold her in my arms and cuddle her.
Carlos returned from Italy to our home in Madrid yesterday and we both couldn't wait to see him. When he came back I could finally breathe a little, sit down and rest because he decided to take care of both of us.
It was the same today, even though I felt a little better, Bea was still coughing a lot and her nose was blocked, so I decided to go to the pharmacy to get a children's inhaler. Carlos decided to stay with her and fulfill all her wishes, and today the wish was cuddling and watching cartoons in the living room.
It took me quite a long time to get to the pharmacy, make the purchase and get back home, so I only returned after 45 minutes. The sight that greeted me when I entered the living room brought tears to my eyes, but happy tears full of gratitude.
Bea was lying curled up on Carlos' chest, his arms wrapped around her as his head fell back against the back of the couch his lips slightly parted as both of them were fast asleep while Dora the explorer begged for help in the background. Carlos tied her hair into a small ponytail on top of her head while her baby hairs were messily sticking out. For a moment I just stood next to the couch and watched them smiling and thinking how did I get so lucky?
"Babe" I approach Carlos from the back of the couch and whisper into his ear. "Babe, wake up." It took him a minute to realize they had fallen asleep and to wake up.
"Ay dios mío.." You could also hear the tiredness in his voice because he didn't sleep at all last night. He demanded that I rest and that he would look after Bea overnight.
"Let's take her to bed okay?" I say quietly trying not to wake her up.
"What time is it?" He asks.
"It's only 7 p.m. I'll take care of her tonight, you get some sleep okay?" I say caressing his cheek.
"No, no I'll do it You still haven't fully recovered amor and I want you to." He says leaving a kiss on my thumb. Just as Carlos slowly straightened up from a semi-lying position on the couch, Bea startled and started crying.
"Shh cariño, no llores." (shh darling don't cry) Carlos immediately began gently shushing her and rubbing her back as I sat next to them.
"Do you want to go sleep in mommy and daddy's bed baby?" I asked her placing a kiss on her hand. She doesn't usually sleep with us, but when she is sick we always let her.
"No" She rubbed her eyes nervously, still crying and burrying her head into the crook of Carlos neck. "Papa, mama" She whined extending her little hand towards me, but not wanting to leave Carlos' embrace.
"Está bien mi amor, mamá y papá están aquí, no te preocupes." Carlos said tightening his grip around her with one arm and with the other pulling me closer to them.
We quickly gave up on trying to talk her into going to bed because we realized it would only upset her even more so we both decided to curl up to Carlos.
"Mis princesas." I leaned my head against his shoulder wrapping my arm around our little bean as Carlos kissed both of our foreheads.

Mini TK
Tumblr media
Sunday, January 9, 2022, is when TK Strand became the sole legal guardian of his 4-year-old baby girl, Y/N Dakota Strand.
Everything in the firehouse was going pretty smoothly. Not many calls had been made for the firetruck but the ambulance was getting called out every few minutes, meaning TK was out more often. So he wasn't there when Fiona Harte walked into the 126 with 4-year-old Y/N in hand. Judd was the first one to spot them and walked over to them.
"May I help you ma'am?" Judd asked her curious as to what she was doing here.
"I'm looking for TK Strand." Fiona said looking around and not at Judd. Owen having been downstairs away from his office perked up when he heard his son's and their last name.
"I'm sorry he's not here at the moment, he's on call. Do you want to leave a message?" Judd asked her and as she was beginning to speak Owen appeared. He saw the little girl but didn't want to say anything.
"I'll take it from here Judd." Owen said to his teammate. Judd left but stayed close by in case Owen needed something. "I'm TK's father, Owen Strand. What can I do for you?" He asked his arms crossed and a little standoffish since this unknown woman came into his firehouse wanting his son. He also took note of the little one that looked exactly like TK. By now everyone had gathered around but still doing their work. He also noticed the bag she was carrying.
"I'm Fiona Harte and this is Y/N... Strand. She's TK's daughter." Fiona said and the entire firehouse went silent. Owen was silent Fiona didn't say anything he looked at the little now known as Y/N, she was looking at Owen curiously.
"Why don't we go to my office and talk about this?" Owen questioned her and turned to show her the way. Fiona walked the way she was shown while Owen lingered back and motioned for Judd and he came to his Captain.
"What's up Cap?" Judd asked him and stood with his arms crossed. Owen looked to where Fiona and Y/N were making sure they were in the office before he started to speak and then looked to Judd.
"I trust you wholeheartedly to be in there when we have this conversation. I'm also going to need you to take Y/N and distract her, I don't care how, but she doesn't need to be in there. I have a feeling some choice words are gonna be said." Owen told him and Judd nodded.
"Of course Cap anything for you." Judd replied and Owen nodded and both men headed up the stairs. When they reached the office they both walked in. Owen walked to his desk and sat down and Judd stayed in the back next to the couch where Y/N was sitting and squatted down and began playing with the little girl, while Fiona was in the chair in front of the desk. It was silent for a few minutes except for Judd speaking softly to Y/N and her laughing, he had to admit she did look exactly like TK.
"How do you know she is TK's daughter?" Owen asked her getting straight to the point. Fiona sighed knowing she would get this question.
"TK and I met in 2017 and while we were both high and possibly intoxicated we slept together. He left the next day. I didn't think of anything until I was late. I went and got a pregnancy test and it came back positive. I didn't have the heart for me to get rid of the baby so I kept it." Fiona explained and Owen was silent he didn't know if he could believe her or not. He looked passed her and over at Judd who was listening and watching, he nodded to Judd and tilted his head to motion him out.
Judd turned to Y/N and quietly asked her "Hey do you want to go see a firetruck?" She perked up and nodded and Judd smiled. "Ok let's go." He picked her up and the smell of drugs and alcohol immediately hit him but just faintly. He knew that she wasn't doing anything but he knew that she had been around it. He could smell it on the mother when he was talking to her. Y/N clung to Judd as he walked downstairs her shirt dropped a little bit and he could see the bruising he really hoped this child wasn't abused but he had a bad feeling. When they got to the bottom of the stairs he sat her down and texted own.
Bruising on her shoulder and part of her neck. It's faint but there.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Owen waited for the door to close and was about to speak when his phone buzzed, he looked at it and instantly tensed up. He didn't respond just sat his phone down and began talking.
"Y/N's gone, you can drop the act." Owen said.
"What act? I'm not acting." Fiona said but knew she had been caught when Owen gave her a look and she sighed "Fine. It was true I didn't have the heart to abort her and she really is TK's daughter. I didn't sleep with anyone before or after him."
"Why bring her now and not when you had her?" Owen said getting defensive.
"I couldn't find TK anywhere and had no way to contact him until I saw him on the news. When I found out he was in Texas well I packed the little shit up and brought her here." Fiona said and each word, she said made Owen madder.
"You could've given her up to your parents or a foster system. Why keep her in a dangerous situation?" He asked her pissed.
"My parents and I aren't speaking and I could've given her up but it kept slipping my mind. Half the time I forgot she was there." Fiona said.
"4 years is too long to have been in that situation. She should've been given up the second you knew you couldn't care for her." Owen said. "When I met you down there I could smell the alcohol and the drugs on you. Y/N will be staying here with TK, his boyfriend Carlos, and me. You will no longer be able to see her." Owen finished and got up.
"Fine by me. I don't want the little shit anymore. She was a cockblock anyways. Guys find out about her and run the other way. I'm in desperate need of a fuck and can't do that while she's around even though that didn’t stop me before but now I can do it anywhere and not care her seeing." Fiona said and got up and walked over to the bag and grabbed a stack of papers. "This is the papers for TK to have sole guardianship. I've already signed them. A note that explains everything." She finished while slapping the stack onto her desk and the note on top, and she left the office.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Judd was with Y/N in the firetruck showing her around when the upstairs office door slammed and she flinched. Judd took notice of this and got out of the truck with her in tow. He got down on her level "Y/N honey, does your mom hurt you or yell at you?" Judd asked her and she was quiet.
"Sometimes. She would have guys over all the time and they leave in the morning. The house always smelt funny. Mommy and the men always hit me when I asked something or spoke." Y/N said in a quiet voice.
"Did they try to touch you?" He asked her not wanting to know the answer.
"They tried but I always ran away and hid." She said honestly and looked down with her hands in front of her.
"Hey, you did the right thing." Judd told her and lifted her head gently and then hugged and she reluctantly hugged him back, not being used to affection of love much less from a man. He let go of her when Owen and Fiona walked down the stairs. Fiona walked out of the firehouse not even saying goodbye to her daughter which confused Y/N. Owen walked over to her once he knew Fiona was gone.
"Hey, Y/N. I'm Owen. I'm your grandpa." He said getting down to her level, she did something that surprised him and Judd she hugged him.
"Hi, Grandpa." She said in a quiet voice. It wasn't much longer until the doors were opening and the ambulance was rolling in and Owen went to stand by it. TK opened the door and saw his dad there.
"Hey, Dad. What's up?" TK asked his father. He didn't say anything. Tommy and Nancy walked up.
"Everything ok Owen?" Tommy asked getting worried.
"TK I need to speak to you in the office." Owen said and TK nodded he looked at his two other teammates and shrugged his shoulders. As TK and Owen were walking, TK noticed the little girl but didn't say anything until they got to the office. Tommy and Nancy noticed her too and went over to her. Judd explained the situation.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Owen and TK got walked into the office and TK saw the papers. "Dad, what's this? Who was that little girl?" He said pointing to the papers and note and then in the general direction of the girl. Owen sighed.
"That's what I wanted to talk to you about. That little girl is your daughter, a woman of the name Fiona Harte came and dropped her off. These," He waved the stack of papers and the note "are for you to sign so you will have sole guardianship of her. She also left a note explaining everything." Owen finished and TK fell into the chair a million questions running through his head, Owen could see this "Fiona said you both hooked up in 2017 while high and possibly intoxicated. TK, son, Y/N doesn't come from a very good place." TK took the note and read through and after. a few moments he said and finally, TK says something.
"I don't know if I'm ready for a kid. I mean things are just now going great with Carlos, I don't want to mess anything up." TK said, "But I also don't want her growing up somewhere that she doesn't know and a possibly abusive household." He finished looking up at his father from the note.
"You don't have to make a decision right this moment. Go meet her and spend some time with her. Carlos loves you and would follow you to the ends of thr earth, he's going to love this little girl because he loves you." Owen told his son who nodded. They both headed downstairs.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When they get downstairs they see Judd, Tommy, Nancy, Mateo, Marjan, and the others surrounding the little girl. They get there just in time for Mateo to say "She looks like a Mini TK!" And they all laugh not knowing that that name would become her nickname for the rest of her life.
TK walks over and Y/N looked up and smiled at TK and Owen. Everyone parted to let them through. TK bent down to her level and she looked at him and it felt like he was looking right in the mirror. "Hi, Y/N. I'm TK. I'm your father." He said when she smiled he had decided to keep her she walked up to him and hugged him.
"Hi, Daddy." Y/N whispered to him and he picked her up and hugged her, yup he definitely knew he was going to keep her. No doubt about it. Now he just needed to tell Carlos and have him meet her.
Speaking of Carlos he had just walked into the firehouse coming to see TK when he saw him hugging a child. He walked over to them smiling, TK always wanted kids and he did too but didn't know when the right time was. Seeing TK with kids always made him smile. "Hey, babe." Carlos said to him and that made TK turn around with Y/N in his arms and smiled as Y/N lifted up and looked at Carlos.
"Hey, baby!" TK said and gave Carlos a kiss which he returned.
"Who is this?" Carlos asked.
"This is Y/N. My daughter." TK said Carlos was speechless but still smiling. "Come on I'll explain." He said passing Y/N off to Owen who was glad to take his granddaughter.
"Use my office." Owen says knowing the papers were in there, TK nodded and grabbed Carlos' hand, and led him up to the office.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once they're in the office TK closes the door and they go sit on the couch. Carlos can see the papers sitting on Owen's desk. TK wasn't smiling and neither was Carlos but not because he was mad but because TK wasn't. He was nervous and Carlos could tell. He decided to listen to what TK had to say.
"So the little girl is my daughter. Back in 2017 when I was severely messed up I got high and drunk and slept with a girl, her name is Fiona Harte, Y/N's mother. Mom came and got me the next morning after I left Fiona. Fiona left a note explaining everything." TK said and paused Carlos could see how hard this was for him and reach over and grabbed his hands in his and coaxed him to go on. "You can read the note if you want. I want her and I'm going to sign the papers." He said and took his hands from Carlos' and grabbed the note from his back pocket and handed it to Carlos who read it.
Dear, TK
This letter explains everything about the little girl that is yours. Her name is Y/N Dakota Strand she is 4. Her birthday is May 1, 2018. I don't know what she likes and dislikes when it comes to TV shows, food, or toys. I do know that her favorite colors are blue and red.
She was conceived on August 1, 2017, the night when we were both high and intoxicated. Now I know you're probably thinking that she isn't yours but she is. But, I hadn't slept with anyone before you or after and I was late so I went and got a pregnancy test and it was positive. I didn't have the heart to terminate it.
She is 100% yours. I'm sorry it took a while for her to meet you and come into your guardianship, I couldn't find you until I saw you on the news and saw you were in Texas. So, I packed the little shit up and came here.
I no longer want her, I don't want to look after her, and I want my freedom back. I don't want anything to do with her. I have already signed my name to give up my parental rights to you, all you need to do is sign and the little shit is all yours.
Sincerely, Fiona Harte
Carlos was mad that a mother could do this and put a child in this situation. He knew she was TK's when he laid eyes on her she was the exact copy of him. "TK, I'll be with you for whatever decision you make. I know how much you wanted kids and I do too. She looks so sweet. I love her already because she's an exact copy of you and I know she'll be sweet because you are." TK started to cry he was so glad to have a supportive boyfriend. TK got his phone out and texted his father to bring up Y/N and a minute later he did.
"I love you baby." TK said to Carlos and hugged him.
"I love you too." Carlos replied hugging back and letting go when Owen opened the door.
Owen walked in and sat Y/N down and walked her over to the two men. Carlos and TK smiling. "Hi, Y/N. I'm Carlos your daddy's boyfriend and hopefully your other father someday." She smiled and looked at him.
"Hi, Papa." She said and hugged him and all of their hearts melted. TK got up and walked over to where the papers sat and started signing his name after Owen read through it. As he was doing that Carlos was with Y/N and her shirt fell off of her shoulder. He saw the faint bruising on her and instantly got mad.
"Y/N, baby. Who did this to you?" Carlos asked which got TK's attention, who was now done signing the papers and walked over along with Owen, seeing the bruising.
"Mommy and her boyfriends. She would have guys over all the time and they leave in the morning. The house always smelt funny. Mommy and the men always hit me when I asked something or spoke. They tried to touch me but I ran away and hid." Y/N told them what she told Judd. She was looking down expecting to get in trouble.
"Oh, honey. You're safe with us now nothing or nobody is going to hurt anymore. You're not in trouble." TK said and picked her up and hugged her. Y/N was shocked that she wasn't in trouble she usually got in trouble or hit more when she spoke up about her situation.
"Your daddy is right. We're here for you and will protect you." Owen said coming to stand next to TK and rubbed her back.
"You're always safe with us. You won't have to go back to that awful place or person anymore." Carlos said and came up to his family and wrapped his arm around TK. What they didn't know was that Maeto was up there and taking a picture of them being a family and smiling.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
TK didn't know if he wanted to keep her at first but after getting to know her in a short amount of time, seeing her with Carlos, and having both his and Owen's support he knew she wasn't going anywhere. He knew that she couldn't go back to Fiona not after what Y/N said.
Y/N is right where she should be, with her Dad, Papa, Grandpa, and her 126 family. She's going to be one protected little girl.

Carlos Sainz Jr (Scuderia Ferrari) - Blind Date
Requested: on wattpad
Prompt: Seemingly, Carlos has his blind date not show up, but it's okay because he's found his replacement.
Warnings: nope
Tumblr media
Y/n sat fiddling with her thumbs in her seat awaiting for her blind date to come along. Her friend had sorted out the date for her to get to know someone and she was absolutely fine with it but she didn't even know who this man would be. She kind of just hoped he was a decent human being. The door of the coffee shop opened up and in walked a good looking foreign man. He looked around and spotted Y/n sitting alone. He smiled to himself as he figured he'd basically hit the jackpot before realising that wasn't his date. His date wasn't even at that coffee shop. She cancelled. So much for trusting his friends to set him up with people. Carlos ordered a coffee and looked back to the miserable looking woman. She looked so lonely, maybe she would like some company. "Excuse me, could you actually make that two please?" he asked the barista. He didn't know if she liked coffee or not but atc this point he was just going with it.
He thanked the barista for his order and went over to talk to her. "Excuse me? Do you mind if I sit here?" The woman looked up to him with a warm smile on her face. "Why not? Go ahead." Carlos sat down and slipped a coffee over to her. "I got you a coffee just in case I was bothering you." he explained. "You aren't bothering me at all. Thank you for the coffee." she said sipping it. "I'm Carlos." he said stretching his hand out. "Y/n." she replied. "What a beautiful name." he remarked, causing a bit of a blush to creep onto her cheeks. "So why are you here alone?" he asked. "Oh, my date cancelled so here I am."
"What a coincidence. My date cancelled too." Y/n and Carlos just smiled at each other. They had more in common than the other thought.
Carlos and Y/n continued talking for a good hour or so. They learned so much about the other but Carlos wanted to know her a little bit better, so he grabbed his coat before he asked her to go elsewhere. "How about we go to the park or something?" he asked her. Y/n thought for a moment and nodded in agreement. "Sure. There's a lovely park around here." Y/n replied also getting her coat. The pair walked out, happily chatting amongst themselves before a very familiar car drove around the corner and rolled the window down to reveal the person they both figured it would be. "Charles, what are you doing here?" Y/n asked walking up to the car. Carlos was a bit confused as to why Y/n knew who Charles was. "I thought I'd come to pick you up but it seems like you have good company." Charles grinned. "It seems that way." Y/n chucked. Charles looked over to Carlos and waved. "Hey Carlos."
Y/n took her turn in confusion now. "You know him?" she asked. Carlos nodded in response. "Yes. I'm his new teammate." Carlos said. "So I take it myy plan worked since you ended up meeting." The pair were both very confused which Charles picked up on and decided to explain himself. "I didn't get you seperate dates, you were each others dates. I decided to cancel though just to prove a point and it appears that it has worked." Charles mused. Y/n bit her lip. Was she really that predictable? "And how did you know it would work then?" Carlos asked folding his arms. "Simple. Carlos, you are basically a lady magnet. You would see her alone and think you could be her friend of sorts." Charles smiled before turning to his other friend. "And my dear Y/n, you would be too shy to tell him to leave you alone. I basically just predicted how both of you would react to seeing each other and go with that."
"Then why did you come to pick me up?" Y/n asked. "I'm going to be honest, I just wanted to know whether or not you two had managed to go on a date together." Charles replied. "Well, I should get going but have fun you two." he said turning his car on. "And don't forget to use protection!"
"Charles!"
"I'm kidding! I know you both like going to a dinner first." And with that he drove away, leaving Y/n and Carlos in a bit of an awkward silence. "So...where do we go from here?" Carlos asked, stuffing his hands into his pockets. Y/n smiled softly and took out a pen. "Show me your hand." Carlos knotted his eyebrows and obided by her before she wrote a few numbers, presumably her phone number, ont to his hand. "Here's my number. I have to go now unfortunately but I would really like to see you again Carlos." Lucky him, because he wanted to see her again too. "Well I'll see you on the second date then, yes?" Carlos asked. "Absolutely." Y/n pulled Carlos in and pecked his cheek before they shared their goodbyes and went seperate ways, but will undoubtedly cross paths again...

Red Lights, Racing Hearts: Chapter 7- Apologies and Hoodies
The moon cast an ethereal glow on the deserted racetrack. Lando sat alone in the cockpit of his car, engine off, eyes lost in the vast tapestry of stars that stretched across the sky. The day's events replayed in his mind, a tangled mess of adrenaline, regret, and an unsettling ache in his chest he couldn't quite place.
Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows, walking slowly towards him. As she drew closer, bathed in the moon's soft light, Lando's breath hitched. It was Y/N, her hair flowing like a dark river in the cool night air, her face serene, devoid of the fiery spirit he typically associated with her. She wore an oversized hoodie and sweatpants, a look so casual it bordered on angelic.
Y/N stopped near his car, a small smile playing on her lips. She seemed surprised to see him, but the surprise quickly melted into a comfortable silence. For a moment, they just sat there, bathed in the moonlight, sharing the quiet magic of the night.
Finally, Lando cleared his throat, the silence pressing down on him. "I just wanted to… apologize," he started, his voice rough with sincerity.
Y/N cut him off, her voice quiet but firm. "No, Lando. I'm sorry. I overreacted. You were trying to help, and I pushed you away. I.. I really didn't mean to. It's just... sometimes, it's hard to believe that people actually care."
Her words hit him like a punch to the gut. He understood. The constant pressure, the scrutiny, the loneliness that came with being in the spotlight – it could make you question everything, even the most genuine kindness.
Their conversation flowed easily from there, a quiet dialogue under the blanket of stars. "Why is it hard for you to trust people Y/N?" Lando asked hesitantly. "Well, I guess its because of my father. He never approved of my passions and he couldn't bear it when I lost. He used to push me and push me until I broke. I just.., i find it hard to believe that people aren't out to get me." Y/N responded with tears in her eyes. They talked about their fears, their dreams, the things that kept them awake at night. Y/N confessed her insecurity about not fitting in, about feeling like an imposter in this world of fast cars and glamorous people. Lando, in turn, shared his struggles with anger, with always feeling like he had to prove himself.
As they talked, Lando noticed the hoodie she wore. It was red and way too big on her, hanging loosely off her frame, the sleeves reaching past her fingertips. "Doesn't that get in the way?" he asked, amusement tinging his voice.
Y/N glanced down at the oversized garment. "Nah, it's comfy. Carlos lent it to me."
Lando's eyes narrowed. A flicker of jealousy sparked within him, hot and unwelcome. Carlos, always hovering around her, always making her laugh. He tried to ignore it, focusing on the conversation, but the feeling lingered, a thorn in his side. Y/N smirked slightly upon seeing his suddenly frozen frame.
Finally, as the first rays of dawn painted the sky with streaks of pink and orange, they decided to call it a night. Y/N stood up, the oversized hoodie swallowing her even more.
"Thanks for listening Norris. You, you aren't the bad guy i made you out to be," she said, her voice soft.
He nodded, unable to meet her gaze. "Anytime Y/N."
As she walked away, he found himself calling after her, his voice barely a whisper. "Hey, just so you know, mine are more comfy."
Y/N glanced back, a playful smile dancing on her lips. "I'll keep that in mind, Pretty Boy."
With that, she disappeared into the shadows, leaving Lando alone with the lingering scent of her apple shampoo and the unsettling heat of jealousy burning in his chest. He stared after her, a new emotion blooming within him, one he couldn't quite name. But as the sun rose, casting a warm glow on the racetrack, one thing was clear: his rivalry with Y/N had taken an unexpected turn, and the road ahead, like the sky above, stretched out vast and uncertain, filled with both promise and peril.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------- (because i love you all i wrote a little lando special part)
She was a walking contradiction, that L/N. Fierce on the track, a storm of fire and ambition, yet beneath it all, a quiet vulnerability that tugged at his heartstrings. He should hate her, despise her for the way she challenged him, pushed him to his limits. But instead, he found himself drawn to her, captivated by the way her eyes crinkled at the corners when she smiled, the way her hair danced in the moonlight like a raven's wing.
As she walked away, the oversized hoodie swallowing her small frame, a pang of something sharp and unfamiliar twisted in his gut. Jealousy, he realized with a jolt. Jealousy of Carlos, of the casual ease with which she wore his hoodie, of the shared laughter that echoed in the paddock. He hated the feeling, the way it clawed at him, possessive and primal. But he couldn't deny it. He was falling for Y/N L/N, the girl who made him want to be better, the girl who saw through his bravado and touched something deep within him. And the road ahead, like the rising sun painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, was both exhilarating and terrifying. He was in uncharted territory, and the only compass he had was the pounding of his own heart.
incase you missed the previous part ^^^

curtwen prompt!! you brought it up in the last curtwen fever prompt so now I’d actually love to see reluctant post-banana sick fic care (going either way, but owen having to take care of the man he thinks he hates lives a little rent free in my head) if you’d want to write that :)
Funny you should mention that, actually 👀 because I literally got asked this not half an hour later:
Tumblr media
Same brain, huh? At this point, it's too much of a coincidence not to write, so the two of you can have your way with this reluctant caretaking
Tumblr media
"Come on, Curt, we don't have the time to stay here!" Tatiana made sure to keep her tone a mix of insistent and well meaning. It was her fault that Curt had ended up in this mess. Since finding out that he was arriving in Monte Carlo, the Deadliest Man had requested that they make things a little interesting, that they should manage to get agent Mega alone for even a moment.
Now, Curt was at a level rather closer to death than she would've hoped, and she was glad that she'd arrived now instead of a minute later, otherwise she was sure that she'd have found him in a much worse state.
Curt stumbled to his feet, shooting a glare over his shoulder that spoke of all the betrayal he felt. Near enough all the energy he had left was being used on trying to keep himself upright, but he could always spare a little on making sure she knew how offended he was that she'd essentially left him to die.
"What, you expect me to trust you, after that?" He snapped, glancing back towards the Deadliest Man, who was still trying to recover from that blow to the head he'd been dealt.
"I don't care if you do or not, we have to go!"
She reached out. Instinct took over, and Curt reached out too. When her hand clasped around his forearm, his breath caught in his throat. There was a light set of footsteps across the room that he was absolutely sure that nobody else would hear. Every instinct within was telling him not to look, this wasn't the time for-
"Owen..?"
Despite everything, he looked up anyway, across the room, straight into the colourless, blank stare of Owen, who was leaning against the wall by the door. The bastard even had the audacity to lift a hand and wave, like he was fully aware that Curt couldn't take his eyes off him. This was the Owen that resided in his head. He had been at once familiar and entirely unwelcome, like finding out that a stowaway on board a vessel was actually your closest friend, and having to choose between selling them out or leaving them to a potentially worse fate by not saying a word. Part of him really didn't want to see Owen there at all, he was nothing more than a reminder of his fate, and what he could've done better.
The other part of him knew that his mind was just making up an image of Owen that was so unfailingly unscathed, because he simply couldn't handle the idea of him being marred in any way. It hurt to try and imagine what kind of injuries he must have accrued during the fall. During the explosion. During the moments before he took his final breath…
He was so caught up in the moment that he barely registered Tatiana drop her arm and start running out of the door, under the impression that he was hot on her heels. The more space they put between themselves and the likes of the Deadliest Man, the less likely they were to be traced, she knew that. So when she'd told Curt to get going, she'd really meant it.
But that did mean that she missed the Deadliest Man— missed Agent Owen Carvour— take a gun from the holster at his side and offload, striking Curt just above the hip. She missed Curt bite down a cry of pain, whirling around just in time to see the assassin rising to his feet. And the way that Curt looked down on himself to examine the wound. And the fact that his fingertips came back bloody, the way his eyes went wide, and the way he hit the floor within moments of registering the dark red substance that coated his hand.
Tatiana may have missed that, but Owen didn't.
Curt collapsed, and it took a long moment before he worked out the reason why. Of course. That bastard was terrified of the sight of his own blood. Of all the things for a man to be afraid of…
Of course, that wasn't the only injury he'd managed to sustain. The last few minutes had been a rather interesting ride, and Tatiana had come dangerously close to not finding Curt Mega alive at all. If he had his own way, he would've made sure he kept that arrogant son of a bitch alive for months, right on the delicate cusp between being alive and being dead. To watch him suffer, to see him experience something even close to the level of pain he himself had endured over those few painful months… Those months he had spent stupidly wishing Curt would come back for him, where he would hold himself strong, forcing himself to remember there was something on the other side worth surviving for… It hurt like hell, and he wasn't going to pretend to ignore any of the scars it had given him. He would never be the same, so why should Curt be?
All the same, whether he was able to get his own way or not, the truth of the matter lay in the here and now. Curt— supposedly the best spy this side of the Atlantic— had just passed out on first sight of his own blood. And Tatiana was gone. Of course, it was only a matter of time before she realised Curt wasn't actually behind her— even in the bustle of the casino hotel. Then, she'd make her return, no doubt. Until then, though, Owen had a bleeding Curt on the ground, and a certain idea in his head that he would rather not see him dead, actually. Maybe some other time he could get into the making him beg for death part… He deserved as much.
He sighed deeply. "God, Mega, you really need to work on that fuckin' issue of yours…" He muttered stiffly as he crouched and began rifling through the bag under the bed for his own supplies. Those kind of things were always needed in an emergency, sure, but he didn't expect this emergency to involve the patching up of the man he hated with such a fiery passion…
That was a matter for another moment. Curt couldn't work on his issues, because he wasn't conscious. He couldn't call him out for caring even slightly, because he wasn't conscious. He couldn't even figure out that the man behind the mask— the one that had been promptly removed and discarded on the bed— was the man he'd been searching for, because he wasn't conscious.
And that was the issue that needed dealing with right now.
Owen reminded himself that he couldn't care less what happened to Curt, so long as it happened by his hand. And by his hand, this had happened, so there was always that. As he pulled Curt's tuxedo jacket from his shoulders enough to be able to lift his shirt and start working on the bullet wound now causing blossoms of red against the fabric, he wondered to himself just what was making him do this. He didn't care. Especially not about Curt. He'd been told one too many times that he was cold, and callous, and all of those things they wanted a perfect operative-slash-weapon to be. If all of that was true, then there was no way that he could possibly have any room left for caring about Curt.
But, on the other hand, four years was a long time to be missing what was essentially a piece of himself.
And now here he was. Right there, at his disposal. Missing a tooth, clearly missing some brain matter, and missing a fair bit of blood that just… Would not stop coming.
The bullet hadn't even lodged in, it was a surface wound at best. And yet, Curt bled and bled and bled. Something wasn't entirely right here…
Owen decided not to think about that. He applied the first layer of gauze, and started to wrap the bandage around Curt's midriff. Periodically, he kept looking up at the door, to make sure he wasn't going to be spotted or caught in this position. He imagined it looked rather strange— a man with a knife at one side of his belt and a machete at the other, kneeling by the side of another and applying layers of bandages to a bullet wound. By all accounts, it didn't make sense, and thinking about it brought the slightest of smiles to his face.
"Look at you…" He hummed. Filling the silence was the best bet here, otherwise he'd start thinking about the few times he could remember doing this before… The moments he'd spent in the dead of night on the floor of some shitty motel room, making sure Curt stayed alive. And he really didn't want to think about that. The tenderly spoken words, the way their hands brushed against one another, the meaningless teasing about how he should've been more careful…
God, he missed the old times.
"… You're an absolute mess, Curt. It's absolutely fine for you to play the damsel in distress, though, isn't it? When you need saving, look at how there's always someone there to pick up your slack, and look how often it has to be me… Where the hell were you when I needed you, though?" He asked quietly, shaking his head. He wasn't so deterred by the sight of blood at his fingertips, but ironically, it had disturbed some inner part of him for exactly the same reason that it had disturbed Curt.
Because… Well, because it was Curt's.
And there was some inner part of him— that same man he'd spent the last four years trying to push down within himself— that was concerned. Concerned about the fact that the blood wouldn't stop. Concerned about what would've happened if he wasn't stopped. He didn't care about the aching in his own head left over from the blunt end of the pistol… That didn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. Apparently, what really mattered was this stupid, selfish— loving, grounding, gorgeous— American agent spreading blood all over the hardwood floors.
What would've happened if he wasn't stopped? Would he have actually dared to go so far as to kill Mega? Would he have gone that far, here in this hotel room, only to pack his bag and leave immediately after like he didn't just leave the body of his partner in the room?
Curt is not your partner. Not anymore.
He sighed to himself. "Where were you when I was calling your name with all the energy I had left?" His hand pressed down against the wound, just above the primary source of pain. He reached for another layer of bandages.
"Where were you when I was bleeding out on the floor of a cell, sparing a thought to the last hope I had that you might come back?" He watched the blossom of red seep in through the bandages and bit his lip, letting his apprehension show for a fraction of a second. He had no right to be nervous right now. He had every right to be pissed.
"Where were you when your shadow sat at the other side of the room, huh? All the time I spent wishing that was really you, even if you'd come to do nothing but observe while I made sure I lived to see tomorrow… You weren't there. You never were. This…" This life he had been given. This life he knew he should be grateful for, because at the end of the day, it wasn't his to have and never was…This had all come from that fall, the last time he trusted Curt to have his back. "This is your fault."
And yet, he kept winding bandages around his waist, administering all of the care that he knew he could muster, especially towards Curt. On one hand, this was his fault. He had walked away when Owen needed him the most, and yet… He didn't really have a choice, did he? There was a good chance that he would've died as well…
But he'd never come back. He'd never bothered to check whether Owen was alive. Because he would've found nothing, and he would've known something was wrong, because nobody's body just disappeared…
The only time Owen stopped working was the brief moment he reached up to scrub a furious tear from his eye, as if Curt deserved the satisfaction of knowing that he was close to breaking over just the thought of him. He left in his wake a smear of red that he didn't think twice about. Like he hadn't felt the chill of blood against his face before… As if he'd never had to wonder if a particularly bad round would leave a stain to his cheeks.
He'd been lucky so far, but it was only a matter of time, he supposed.
"Y'know, this isn't so fun when you're not around to listen…" He whispered, leaning in close. Another check of the door. Another show that nobody was there waiting for him. Another sigh. "I never wanted to kill you, Curt, you should know that. And I know, that's absolutely nothing when it comes down to it, but I digress…"
He made a final check to ensure that the bandage was tight enough, that it would hold if and when Curt got on his feet again, then stood up, towering over the unconscious form of the man who used to hold the title of partner… Of lover.
"I guess you'll never know what really happened here tonight. And I know you can hear me, but I know you're just like me. You always have been. You've been hearing me for the last four years…" A dry, humourless chuckle left him, the only barrier against the floodgates opening. "And that's someone else's song, I'm afraid… This? This is one of those. Think of it as someone else's song, it'll make things a lot easier when I do what I have to do… For both of us, I think."
When Tatiana found Curt, he was barely conscious, trying to button up the shirt that someone had left wide open, and trying to make himself look in the least bit presentable. He had pretty much stopped bleeding, but it didn't take a genius to notice that someone had bothered to patch him up with a few layers of fresh bandage. He could feel it against his skin, taut and securing. A professional's job— or at least, someone who really knew what they were doing.
His memory held onto the ghost of a voice. Chiding him. Telling him that it was all his fault. Telling him that he wasn't there. That voice had a name, and that name belonged to a ghost. He knew it. The ghost knew it too, it seemed.
But there was no trace of him.

Do I wanna know if you’re falling in love with me?
a Carlos x y/n fic loosely based on Do I Wanna Know and Falling In Love With You. This is my first fic ever written, so be prepared. Maybe some spelling errors.
Word count: 2269
inspo from here
Tumblr media
There he was. Once again. Just you and him. Together. It was all too good to be true…
“Carlos!!! Mijo, hurry. Time to wake up!”
Of course. Defeated, he decides to get out of bed. When he does, he realizes his hand is gripping on to something.
“Dios Mio”
It was the little bear he has had since he was a kid. A little maroon bear with buttons for eyes and his initials CM on its feet. Every time he dreams of you, the bear is held tight.
Once he puts the bear down and gets ready for the day (obvi making his hair cover his eye), he heads downstairs for breakfast.
“ Hola Tia,” he said while walking into the kitchen. “Ay Carlos, that’s the fifth time you’ve slept in this week,” Julieta said while cleaning the kitchen. “I know” “Another dream?” his Tia questioned as he went over to pour himself a cup of juice. “Si,” he responded before taking a sip.
His tia was one of the people he trusted. She knows about his little crush. How lately he’s been waking up late cause of his dreams.
“Why don't you say something?” she peaked up. Carlos shrugged his shoulders while taking a bite of an empanada that was sitting on the counter. “Mmm, this is really good. Did you try a new filling?” he questioned with food in his mouth, so good he kept going for another bite.
“Si! y/n gave me the idea, actually.” Upon hearing our name, a blush instantly appeared on his face. Of course, it didn’t help for him to think that you were getting along with his tia, someone he loves very much.
“Carlos? Que Pasa?” “nada,” he quickly denied anything. “Then what’s that color in your cheeks?” she says teasingly to the poor flustered boy. “I have to go now! Adios Tisa!” he said, quickly exiting the kitchen before it could get any worse. Watching the sight of her nephew leave in a fluster made her laugh to herself.
Tumblr media
In all fairness, Carlos really had nowhere to go. So he just decided to take a walk. Everywhere he passed, people were afraid. Oh, how he hated it. He hated it because he didn’t want you to as well. But according to his fears, he can't change how people see him, just like he can't shift the tide. It was something he couldn’t get rid of, like something in his teeth.
He was then snapped out of it when he heard a laugh. Not just anyone, though, yours. That damn laugh that made his knees weak. How he wanted to be the one to make you laugh, be right beside you and make you smile so big.
“That sounds crazy y/n,” Mirable said in between laughs, “I wish I could go with you.”
“...go?” Carlos mumbled under his breath. No, you can't go. You just came a few months ago. You can't just leave after coming into his life. It would make him sad to see you go. He was sort of hoping you’d stay in this little town he calls home, even if it wasn’t your first home.
Ever since you came into town, something inside him hasn't been the same. Ever since the Encanto mountains broke, people have been coming in (ofc after Abuela approved). Carlos didn’t mind the new people as long as they didn't bother him. They were also new prank victims, so that was a plus. But he couldn't do that to you. It’s like whenever he tries, his body stops him. A feeling you can't fight.
After learning about his defeat, he thought it was better to just go back home. The whole way back home, he dragged his feet and held his head low. Even when he arrived, Casita could see his mood and quietly opened its doors.
Tumblr media
As he trenched up the stairs and down the hall, he got stopped by a voice he knew all too well, almost like the little voice in the back of his head.
“Have you got the guts?” a hushed voice questioned. “ Que?” “When are you gonna tell them?” his sister kept questioning him. “Tell who what?” he kept denying. “Tell y/n that you are in love with them,” she finally said. “Love is a bit strong,” Carlos rebutted. “Dios Mio, you have no idea that you’re in deep,” she said dramatically; she couldn’t believe him. With this, Carlos gives Dolores a puzzled face. “You’re deeply head over heels for them,” she exclaimed. “You’re far from the truth,” he denied. “Then why did your heart start racing then,” she said with a little smirk, now seeing the color in his cheeks return.
Once he snapped back to it, his face turned upside down again. “ You overheard y/n and Mirabel, didn’t you?” With silence as her answer, she felt terrible for her Hermano.
After a while of no words exchanged, Carlos finally peaked up “...when do they leave?” “next week…you know-” “do I wanna know?” Carlos interrupts her. “Que?” she questioned, confused. “ Do I really wanna know if this feeling flows both ways?” he said, rolling his eyes in exaggeration and crossing his arms. “Talk to them then,” Dolores suggested. “When?” “Tonight,” she exclaimed before she started walking away. Then she stopped for a sec and turned her head towards him. “After all, the nights are mainly for saying what you can’t say tomorrow.” And with this, she continued walking away.
Tumblr media
Well, he was screwed. It was tonight. Now or never. After months of being in love having a crush, he was finally gonna confess. He was pacing around his room, stressing. He didn’t have a clue about what to do. NONE! As he defeatedly throws himself into his desk chair, he places his elbows on his desk and runs his hands through his hair (showing both his eyes).
Maybe he can come up with a plan! He grabs his notebook and pencil and starts writing ideas. Stargazing? No. Picnic? No. Tear after tear after tear. Each one ending up with a crumble, then being tossed. With agony, he bangs his head on the desk, clueless. When he turns his head, he catches a glance at his bookshelf. With the sunset peeking through his window, a ray of sun illuminated the books. A certain one caught his attention tho.
A brown leather-covered book with Spanish-styled details edged in gold. And on the cover, a heart with angel wings. “Of course!” The answer was in front of him all along. How could he be so stupid? Now all he needed was his guitar and a quick trip to the town square.
Tumblr media
His first step, get you to come. He transforms into a little red bird, and with his beak, he picks up a letter that he wrote.  As he started approaching your house, his nerves started to work up again. He was doing this. He was actually doing this. What if it didn't work? What if it was too stupid? What if he got rejected? What if you were already dating someone?! He was so busy questioning that he didn’t realize he had made it to your house and almost flew into it. But there he was, now flying right in front of your window.
“Tap tap..tap..” Getting up from your desk, you go to see what could possibly be making that annoying noise. When you go to open your curtains, you’re shocked to see a little red bird with a letter in between its beak. You quickly open your window to let the little bird in and see what it wants. The moment you peek open your window, he swiftly flies in, drops the letter on your desk, and leaves. He was so quick that you didn’t have time to process it, let alone blink. With curiosity, you walk back to your desk to see a red letter written in black cursive,
Dear y/n:
Tonight, follow this bird. It will be waiting for you at 12 am.
See you then, Hermosa ❤️
“Her-Hermosa,” you say, surprised. The color in your cheeks was rising. You were over the moon, though!
Tumblr media
You made sure to eat your dinner faster tonight and get ready for bed quicker. Welllll, technically you weren’t going to bed, but your family didn’t know that.
After checking yourself in the mirror for the 20th time, you checked the time and saw it was 11:55 pm. “Here goes nothing,” you say to yourself, preparing for whatever may happen soon. You quietly open your bedroom door, making sure you woke no one up. As you creep down the stairs and to the front door, you didn't know you had stopped breathing until you made it outside.
It was a bit cold, not gonna lie. Waiting there, tapping your foot, you checked your watch. “12:01”. “Where is this bird?” you mumbled under your breath. You were getting a bit impatient since it was getting colder by the minute, only making you want to go inside more. Just when you say this, the bird lands on your shoulder, startling you. Then, with little chirps, the bird started flying away.
You start chasing after the bird as it begins to head farther from the town. You didn’t even realize you were running in the direction of the famous Madrigals house.
Running up a tiny hill nearby, you attempted to catch your breath once you reached the top. Hands on your knees, when you look up, you realize that you have lost the bird. “mierda,” you say breathlessly.
Suddenly, you feel a pair of cold hands wrap around your eyes. “You didn’t lose me, Hermosa,” a low, raspy voice whispered in your ear, so close you could feel his breath tickle your skin. “Keep your eyes closed, trust me.”
Well, it was too late now if you were being kidnapped. So you did as you were told and kept them closed.
Carlos couldn’t believe he was doing this. While he slowly removed his hands from your eyes, he cautiously started walking in front of you. Once standing face to face with you, he couldn’t help but just freeze for a second. How bad he just wanted to grab your face and feel your lips collide with his. But he knew he couldn’t. So he gently grabbed your hands as he started walking backward, guiding you to a little clearing.
Your mind was racing with millions of thoughts. Do I know that voice? Where is he taking me? Why did I agree to do this? Where even am I? All of a sudden, you felt him let go of your hands.
You stood there with your eyes still closed, patiently waiting for him to tell you what to do next. Then, out of nowhere, you start hearing a guitar strumming. Curiously, you peeked open your eyes. When you did, you were awestruck.
“ Wise men say only fools rush in.”
Carlos sang while looking down at his guitar. Around him was a circle of candles. Dimly lit up, allowing you to only see a figure of the stranger.
“But I can't help falling in love with you.”
He sang while slowly approaching toward you.
“No, I can't help falling in love with you.”
He lastly sang while now standing right in front of you, looking you in the eye.
As you two stood there, you were shocked. Now finally, being able to place a face on the mysterious admirer, you couldn’t believe it. Did thee Carlos Madrigal just say in song he loved you? You couldn't even mutter a single word.
“Look, y/n, I know we’ve barely known each other, but I’ve just been wondering lately if your heart's still open. Cause we can be together if you wanted to, regardless of whether you are gonna leave soon,” he rambled. He was so nervous, why weren't you saying anything?! He could barely even comprehend what he was even saying.
This was so much for you to process right now.
“I-i,” you tried to form words, but before you could even get them out, you were interrupted. “-Look, I get it if you don't want-” “Carlos!” you interrupted him. This shocked him and made him shut up. “I’ve had a crush on you for a while, too” “...really?” “yes, really,” you replied. He couldn’t believe it, you had just said you liked him back! His heart was now racing. Internally he was jumping up and down in joy.
“So we can be together then?” he said with excitement entangled in his tone. “Of course,” you answered. But then it hit him, “but aren’t you leaving soon? How would we make this work?”
You were confused. You never told him anything about leaving; how would he-oh. “Ay, the chisme of this town,” you groaned under your breath while pinching the bridge of your nose.
Well, you couldn’t have confused the poor boy any more than he already was.
“ I only leave for two weeks, you know that, right?”
He didn’t respond; all he could think of was how stupid he was. Is that what Dolores was trying to tell him earlier? Is this what he gets when he doesn’t listen to people fully?
When he didn’t respond and just stood there with his mouth opened a little, you couldn’t help but giggle.
“Aww, pobrecito,” you said between giggles before giving him a kiss on the cheek.
With that, Carlos shut his mouth and regained his stiff posture.
Guess this feeling really did flow both ways after all ❤️…

Resident Evil 3 Remake
THE PRICE OF LIFE: Nikolai Zinoviev/Nicholai Ginovaef x fem!reader
Tumblr media
Summary: Nicholai was too interesting to not care about. He was too interesting to be left behind - maybe she cares a bit too much.
Notes: English isn't my first language. I apologize for any mistake I made while I wrote this short story.
My Russian isn't the best, I only know a few words in that language so I used Google translator to help me. If something isn't correct and/or something is used in the wrong context, please tell me so I can learn and improve :)
Warnings: mentioned wounds, referenced manipulation (only vaguely, you have to decide what it really is), slightly unhealthy relationship tropes
•••
Nicholai was a very calculated man.
She was very well aware of that fact as soon as she first saw him and talked to him. He knew what to expect from her, when to expect it and how to use that knowledge in his favor. She knew that it was a very useful skill to have, especially in a situation like theirs.
That was until she figured out another thing about him.
Nicholai was also a man mostly driven by greed and power.
And greed mixed with the ability to deduce someone's next move and worth was a pretty dangerous skill.
He may have been greedy, but he was also too interesting to not care about. She liked to listen to him talk and then understand the meaning of those words, because even if money was clearly the main motivator, he was right. He was a great survivalist who understood the very basic rule of life: no one else's life matters, but your own.
He wasn't an ordinary man she'd meet around every corner and that led to her being too interested in him to leave him alone. Even if Jill didn't trust him, even if he made her leave her friend behind to save her own life - she knew he was right and she was glad she decided to stick with him.
If anyone can make it out of the city alive, it was Nicholai - and perhaps, if she isn't too annoying and boring - she can leave with him too.
It was because of these facts she had managed to know about him that she became scared, doubtful and a bit disappointed. There he was, the man she decided to trust, the man she decided to believe - and he was wounded.
He was wounded, defeated - destroyed because of his own ego. He thought he was clever, he thought he knew Jill Valentine, yet he underestimated her.
She shot him to save her own life - she learned that from Nicholai himself.
"There's a price tag for everything. Even letting the world burn."
Once again, he was right. Even if it wasn't a thing she'd do, it was something others are definitely doing right in that same moment somewhere else.
"Who are you working for?"
Carlos was on his way towards the helicopter and he tilted his head, trying to make a silent sign so she'll get moving and help him. She shook her head and looked at Jill - I can't: that's what her movements said, but I don't want to was what she really wanted to say.
Carlos nodded, seemingly understanding - or misunderstanding - what she meant to say. He thought she tried to look out for Jill, when in reality it was another person she tried to look out for.
"I'll tell you if you get me out of here." that first line was for Jill, she was sure of it, but then his eyes found hers as he continued: "I'll pay you whatever you want."
As Carlos climbed into the helicopter leaving no one to look directly at her, she tilted her head with a small smile.
You'll pay, huh?
She did her best to look inside herself and find her main motivator what followed her throughout the whole night. It was the want and need to survive. And she survived - she was here and Jill will for sure take her out of the city. They were friends and Jill won't rub anything into her face or scream at her saying: 'What did you do to save yourself?' No, she loves her too much for that.
But money? She doesn't want the money. She doesn't need it at all. She won't be able to spend it, knowing at which part of her life she had gotten it.
Respect on the other hand...
"You're a fool. You're a fool!" Jill turned away and walked up to the chopper, she followed her letting Nicholai shout all he wanted - it wasn't the right moment. For a second she couldn't decide who he shouted at, but then realized it was for Jill - it was the performance for Jill. Nicholai would never beg. "If I die you'll never find out the truth."
There it was - the effect he had on her and on her whole being from the first second they've met. She liked him. She respected him. She could love him.
She didn't want him to die. Sure, he'd deserve a punch or two, but not death.
As Jill helped her climb into the chopper she realized that Nicholai knows that. He knows she likes him and respects him and that a part of her wants him in ways she shouldn't. He knew from the first talk they've had that he won't die here - no, because she will be the right escape plan.
"I don't mind a little detective work."
Jill climbed in - she didn't. She sat down, letting her legs dangle. Jill disappeared behind her, deciding to talk to Carlos.
She kept her gaze on Nicholai, who kept pressure on the wound. Their eyes met.
She tried to make herself unreadable, something new and uncertain - she wanted to shock him, surprise him even if she knew nothing can really come as a shock to a man like Nicholai Ginovaef.
She kept her mouth in a straight line, pressured her muscles to keep herself from smiling. But her eyes told him everything he needed to know.
Nicholai smiled and let out a laugh. She didn't laugh with him.
"Did you learn?" the question came as a shock.
Did she?
She learned the basics. She knew what her own life meant and what a good accomplice meant. She learned to survive...
... yet she's about to do something what could kill her.
The answer is no. She didn't learn. Her wants and pure needs were greater than the voice inside her head saying: Go with Jill and repair the friendship as long as it can be repaired.
She didn't want to go with Jill - or Carlos.
The propeller started to move and then the helicopter started to ascend.
Half a meter - for a moment she saw something new on Nicholai's face.
One meter - it looked like pure betrayal.
"Hey, Jill!" she shouted through the sound of the propeller.
"Yeah?"
One and a half meters - she has to make sure they'll go without her.
"Go on a vacation after this!"
"You'll come with me, right?"
Right? She left her when the Nemesis attacked them in the subway. She felt sorry she did that, but she didn't regret it one bit.
She smiled at her friend.
Two meters.
"Go somewhere calm and sunny."
Jill's smile faded. "What do you mean?"
"It was nice to meet you Carlos." she looked at their temporary pilot and then back at her friend. "Have a great life Jill."
"What--"
Two and a half meters. She jumped.
She jumped and she heard Jill scream after her. She jumped and saw as the chopper stopped in the air for a few seconds.
She heard Carlos' voice through the noise, probably explaining that they don't have much time left. They knew that - everyone knew that: Carlos, Jill, Nicholai, herself. She calculated it perfectly.
She landed perfectly with a small, quiet puff.
"You didn't learn at all, did you?"
She made sure the chopper moved away and only then did she start to walk towards Nicholai.
"Sure thing I did." she started, trying to not grin. "You said it yourself, there's a price tag for everything."
Nicholai chuckeled, he understood the reference.
"And I really hope you'll pay me well enough."
She stretched out her arm, letting him grab her hand so she can pull him up.
"What makes you think I will? I could kill you, we could both die here."
She looked up at him when his grip on her hand changed. His hand moved up until it had a firm hold on her wrist.
"We won't die here. I'm pretty sure you have the keys for that other chopper right there." she tilted her head towards it. "You're too calculating to just wait for your own death."
"Why did you jump? You could've escaped with your friends. You have no further use of me just like I have no further use of you."
She looked up at him as if this would be the first time she really looked at him, examining his features, his eyes, his grin. She looked at him and for the first time she really saw what he tried to hide. She saw that he fell into the same trap she did.
"I did it for the same reason you didn't kill me." she started, swallowing, getting herself ready to say the next words: "You like me. And I like you too."
His gaze was cold. It explored her whole being, all the small cuts she had on her face and shoulders.
And he smiled. He smiled like he knows something she doesn't.
"Ty vazhen dlya menya. Ya nenavizhu eto." she didn't understand a word he said even if her heart fluttered at the sudden Russian. "Malen'kiy vyzhivshiy." he grinned.
"So," she began as she swallowed down the softness and hope she felt when he spoke up in Russian - it was pretty attractive just like his accent. "let's get out of here, no?"
His grip tightened even more and for a second she was afraid there'll be an ugly purple mark left behind. Her heartbeat quickened. God he had such a hold on her, on her whole being, he could control her in ways no one else could.
"What'll happen if you're wrong?" he leaned in, she was able to feel his breath on her face and he kept the eyecontact no matter where she looked. "What'll happen then, zólotse? You'll get nothing out of it, no? No money, no man, no life. Nichego."
She didn't hide away. She didn't take a step back. Nicholai wouldn't like that.
No, he wants her to answer, to say something, to prove what she is: is she worthy of survival or is she too shy and meaningless? He wouldn't leave her. It'd hurt him a bit too much, but she'd get a place in his book, a term.
She put one of her hands on his shoulder, her fingertips getting lower, closer to the wound. He took a deep breath - it must've hurt like Hell.
"But I am right. So it doesn't matter, does it?" she watched as her fingertips became red. "And let's be honest if I'd die tonight your money wouldn't be able to buy me back. I'm too interesting to play with, no?"
He liked that. He liked that short challenge. He liked that she didn't back down.
Her hand traveled lower until it reached a pocket. She kept the eyecontact even as she reached in to grab the keys she had suspected were there.
"Let's get going so we won't have to figure out what happens if we both die." she said after she held the keys in her hand.
She took a step back, but he stopped her. Even if he was wounded, he was still strong - stronger than her at least. He pulled her close, much closer than before. He only stopped when they were so close their noses almost touched.
She felt her eyelids get heavy. Her stomach fluttered, her heartbeat quickened. Every instinct in her, every piece of her body told her to get comfortable and get ready. Everything inside her told her to lean closer and kiss him.
But she didn't. And Nicholai didn't move either.
He just smirked and then whispered: "Malen'kaya ved'ma." It sounded like he teased her.
"You really want to die tonight, don't you?" she whispered too. "We should hurry up."
"Fine." he let go of her and then continued to press his hand on his wound.
They walked toward the other chopper and just as they got in, he continued to talk: "Ty mne nravish'sya."
She didn't know what it meant, but it sounded honest and soft - and Nicholai was a pretty rough man. He smiled and so did she.
No one was left behind that night. No one died and no one got paid. Because she didn't want to leave him and he didn't want to let her go.
Nicholai was a man driven by greed. If he found something he liked, he kept it. And he didn't like to share.

Hi! can you write something about; reader are in a relationship with Lando and through Carlos, his best friend, she meet Charles, with whom she become very close. Charles becomes her best friend, but Lando starts to feel jealous and afraid that her might leave him for Charles ?
Lando was looking at you, he was trying to push those thoughts away, he didn't want them. He trusted you, he loved you and knew you loved him. You had a strong relationship. But the way you were leaning against Charles side, laughing at him and joking about the stuff he was showing you on his phone... It made his stomach turn.
Carlos had already kicked him under the table. He had texted him a stop looking at then like that, cabrón message. He knew his friend was right. But he also knew he wasn't all wrong. Charles was Charles fucking Leclerc. He was pretty. He drove for Ferrari. He lived in Monaco. Well, technically so did he, but Charles was from Monaco so it was different. There where many things about Charles that were better than him. Why wouldn't you want Charles?
The dinner was long and tedious.
"I think I'm going back to the hotel" He muttered when you guys started talking about this place to go and have some drinks.
"Lando, babe. Are you okay?" You said taking his hand on yours. You even checked his temperature by pressing a hand to his forehead.
"Yeah, just a little headache. But you go and have fun with them." He kissed your forehead as a sign of goodbye.
But you didn't let go, you grabbed his arm and pulled him closer. "I'm going with you. I'm all worried now, Lando"
That's how you end up going back to the hotel soon. But you were suspicious. He surely didn't have a headache.
"What's wrong?" You said when you were already on your pijamas.
He was laying in bed and scrolling down his phone. He had an arm behind his head and he looked perfect. Like a sad puppy but perfect.
"My head is just..."
"Bullshit" You climbed on his lap and he dropped his phone. "What's really bothering you?" You said cupping his cheeks.
He swallowed. He knew you well enough. There was no scape from this. "Charles"
"Charles?"
He nodded and picked the cord from your sweats to distract himself.
"What's has Charles done to bother you? He is my friend but I can easily fight him"
A little smile formed on Lando's lips. But it was a sad smile.
"Everything"
"I'm confused, Lando" You whispered.
"You would be better with him" He muttered and tried to push you of his body. But you wrapped yourself around him and didn't let go. You both fell on your sides on the bed.
"Lando" You made him stop fighting you. "I don't want to be with Charles. Charles is not what I want and need"
"Charles is perfect" Lando sourly said. "He is much better than..."
You stopped him with a long and deep kiss.
"Charles is no way much better than you, my love. Charles is Charles and you are you. And I don't know what is going around this big head of yours but... I will always chose you over Charles. There is nothing he can give me that could make me happier than I'm right now with you"
Lando felt week. He wanted to cry. These feeling about Charles and you had been going on for the longest time and he was exhausted. So he dropped himself on your chest and let you hug him.
"I love you so much, Lando. I only want you. No Charles, Carlos or Leonardo Dicaprio."
"You are probably too old to catch Leo's eye" He joked. But you heard his voice and you know he was tired and probably wanted to cry.
"You are mean" You whispered and kissed all over his face. "I love you, Lando. Only you and for as long as you want me"
He cuddled closer to you and kissed your neck. "I love you too, babe"
"Sleep, okay? I'll be right here when yoy wake up"
Lando closed his eyes and focused on your hands moving on his hair. He believed you. He always believed you.

Chapter Two: Shock
Tumblr media
Carlos Sainz x Rosa Romero
-> A trip to the doctor brings up memories from Monaco as well as shocking news that Rosa didn't see coming.
word count: 2.1k
warnings: mentions of sex, throwing up, rough upbringing, doctor's visit, blood work, pregnancy
a/n: ok but Carlos at the end makes me cry he's so sweet
Present Day
“Congratulations, it appears as though you are pregnant!” the woman in the white coat said to Rosa, her voice filled with so much joy, you would’ve thought she was the pregnant one. “Your bloodwork looked excellent, the baby seems to be about four weeks old based on your hCg levels shown on page two of this packet” she said with a beaming smile before handing over the small five page packet to Rosa. “I’ve included a list of all the best OBGYN’s in the Madrid area. I highly recommend choosing from this list, though it is just a suggestion of course”
Rosa looked up at the brown haired woman standing in front of her, a blank expression on her face as you tried to wrap your mind around everything she had just said to you in the past 30 seconds.
Pregnant. Four weeks.
As the doctor continued to run through the blood work with Rosa, your mind wandered elsewhere, tuning her voice out as you thought back to exactly what happened four weeks ago.
Monaco. By far one of the richest places Rosa has ever been to. Beyond that, it was one of the races on the F1 calendar that your best friend, Carlos Sainz, had wanted to win the most.
Monaco was a historical place in Formula 1- all the best drivers had won there. Lauda, Prost, Senna, Schumacher, Hamilton, you name any of the greats of Formula 1 and that track was probably one they had succeeded at.
Carlos always wanted to be on that winning list alongside all of his childhood heroes and that weekend four weeks ago, he had finally done just that.
The race had started out wet, the conditions almost undriveable. Rosa stood in the garage, too nervous to sit as she watched Carlos round each corner of the race track, never making any mistake despite how slippery the track surface was.
When he crossed the finish line as the checkered flag flew above him, Rosa couldn't help but find herself getting a bit emotional.
Rosa had met Carlos during high school, shortly before he had entered Formula 3. She had a rough home life, so she typically tried to spend as little time as possible at home, which Carlos had noticed when she started following him to the go-kart track after school everyday.
At first, Carlos didn’t question it- it wasn’t uncommon for people to sit in the stands and watch as he and a few other local karting drivers practiced in the late afternoon on weekdays.
However when he noticed that she wouldn’t leave when he did, that’s when his questions started to arise.
The two of them had become pretty close over a short period of time- mainly due to the fact that after each practice, he would invite her to grab a quick bite to eat or to see a movie with him before he headed home for the night.
Carlos had become Rosa’s best friend and the person she trusted most in this world- after all, he was still the only person to this day who knew how horrible her family was to her. He was the one who would save Rosa from them day in and day out, especially when her dad tried to make an appearance back into her life during graduation.
After high school, Rosa and Carlos had bought a house together. Rosa needed to get out of her mothers house as quickly as possible, and Carlos wanted his own place to stay after traveling around the world week after week, so it all worked out in the end.
Fast forward ten years later, Carlos was driving for Ferrari, the two of them remained best friends, and still lived in that house they had bought fresh out of high school.
After embracing Carlos in a hug and congratulating him on such a big achievement, Carlos had mentioned a party at a local Monaco club called Jimmyz. Never saying no to a good after party, Rosa went back to the hotel and got ready for what you knew was going to be a long night out.
A long night out it was indeed.
The night had started out with several shots of tequila with Carlos and a few members from his team as well as his teammate, Charles- probably way too many tequila shots, but after a race like that, who wouldn’t want to get drunk off tequila?
As the night progressed, Rosa and Carlos had separated in the bar- he went off to drink some beers with his competitors while she went to the dance floor, hoping to dance away the pounding headache she had from all that tequila that had been consumed so early in the night.
Before Rosa knew it though, she was in the arms of a stranger. Looking back on it now, she couldn’t even remember what the man looked like, let alone his name or the sound of his voice.
One thing led to another and she found herself having a one night stand with the mystery man from Jimmyz just before her flight left at 5am.
“Any questions?” the doctor asked, a smile still shining across her face, her voice still filled with joy and excitement.
Rosa looked up at her and shook her head, Rosa’s grip on the papers in her hand becoming a bit tighter as she tried to hold back her tears. “No, thank you. Can I head home now?”
The girl nodded, handing Rosa a small little card. “This is my email if you or your OBGYN have any questions about this appointment or any of the blood work, ok?”
Rosa nodded a little, taking the small rectangle piece of paper out of the doctor’s hand and slipping it into her purse before giving her a faint smile. “Thank you, have a nice day” she said quietly before walking out of the room, needing to get out of the small space and breathe some fresh air.
As Rosa walked outside, she was met with the hot and humid air that engulfed all of madrid- nothing too uncommon for the month of July. The sun was beaming down on her, making it feel ten times hotter out than it actually was.
When she climbed into her car, she immediately turned the air conditioning on, hoping that it would cool her off in some way before she had to make the drive home.
As Rosa started making the drive home- one that was about ten minutes long- she couldn’t help but let her mind travel as she turned her car left and right, navigating through the roads of Madrid.
She thought about how Carlos would react to the news.
Would he ask her to leave, insisting that a child in his home would be too much of a distraction?
Would he be ashamed of her for making such a stupid mistake?
What would his family think when they found out… After all, they were like family to her now, the last thing she would want is for them to be disappointed in her.
She couldn’t help but think about what horrible upbringing she had. Her dad walking out on her when she was eight, her mother becoming an alcoholic, and her sister completely forgetting about her the minute she turned 18, leaving Rosa alone in the horrible hands of her mother, wishing for an escape.
Rosa thought about how the child growing inside of her would also grow up without a father- something she had always promised herself she would never let your children go through.
Rosa felt like a failure already- like she was the worst mother to walk the face of the earth, despite only learning she was a mother nearly twenty minutes ago.
Rosa hit one of her hands against the steering wheel out of frustration, feeling angry with herself for making such poor decisions four weeks ago.
As she approached the gates to her driveway, she rolled the window down, feeling the warm air trying to suffocate her as she entered the 5 digit pin, watching as the gates opened, allowing her to drive through.
She pulled into your garage stall, turning the car off before grabbing her purse and wiping her damp cheeks with the back of her hands.
As she got out of the car, Rosa took a deep breath, hoping Carlos wouldn’t sense anything was wrong, though she knew he would, he could read her like the back of his hand.
When she finally made it inside, she hung her purse and keys up on the hooks by the door before slipping out of her tennis shoes and walking into the kitchen to grab herself a glass of water.
After grabbing the glass of water as well as a granola bar, Rosa made her way up the stairs and to her bedroom, which just so happened to be located right next to Carlos’ office.
As Rosa approached her room, she heard Carlos talking, almost as if he was on the phone. When she walked past his office door, she was thankful to see that he was in a zoom meeting with his team, which meant he would be distracted for a little while, allowing her some time alone to process the day's events.
Rosa set her water and granola bar onto her nightstand before climbing into bed, a deep sigh of relief falling from her lips as her back hit the mattress, allowing her very tense body to relax a bit.
Rosa’s relaxation didn’t last very long, though. After just about five minutes of silence, Carlos had knocked on her door.
“Cariño, can I come in please?” he whispered, unsure if she was asleep or not.
At first, Rosa remained silent, hoping that maybe he would walk away if she didn’t answer, but she knew better than that. Carlos would come in and kiss her forehead goodnight if he thought she was asleep- it's what he’s always done. “Come in” she finally said, sitting up against her headboard as she watched the handle turn slowly.
“Sorry, I’m sure you want space right now, but I just had to see with my own two eyes that you were ok” he admitted, sitting on the edge of the bed as he looked up at her. He could tell that Rosa was far from ok, though he knew she had no desire to talk about it right now.
“I’m ok, Carlos. Don’t worry about me” Rosa whispered, her hand reaching out to touch his, almost as a thank you for checking up on her.
“It’s my job to worry about you, hermosa. You’re my best friend, I always worry. Especially after how much you threw up this morning…”
Rosa laughed a little, giving his hand a squeeze. “We can talk about this a bit later once I'm feeling better, ok? I’ll go through the paperwork the doctor gave me.. For now, I could really use a good Carlos cuddle while watching a movie… what do you say?”
Carlos smiled and climbed under the covers, holding his arms out to her. “You know that I never turn down a movie night”
“But it’s daytime,” Rosa said, a small laugh escaping her.
Carlos jokingly rolled his eyes. “My bad, madam. I never turn down a good movie afternoon”
Rosa laughed and cuddled into him, her arms wrapping tightly around his torso as she rested her head on his chest.
Carlos wrapped his arms around her and turned on a random movie that was on their netflix suggested before pulling the covers up over the two of them. “Let me know if you need anything, ok?” he whispered before placing a kiss to the top of her head.
Rosa gave Carlos a gentle nod. “I will, Carlos. I will.” she whispered, closing her eyes as she had finally relaxed in the comfort of Carlos' arms. For just a slight moment, she had forgotten all about the events earlier in the day.
She had forgotten about Carlos catching her hunched over the toilet at 6am.
She had forgotten about Carlos encouraging her to visit the doctor.
She had forgotten about her trip to the doctors office, the blood work, the waiting for answers, and the pure shock that washed over her when the word's "you're pregnant" echoed through the small room.
For just a moment she had forgotten all about her Monaco mistakes, from the tequila to the bathroom sex.
For just a moment she had forgotten about her worries of the future, one that would include her child growing up without a father, her fear of being anything like her mother, and the struggles of raising a child alone.
The moment however, didn't last long. Guilt had suddenly washed over her as she laid in Carlos' arms. Carlos had been her best friend for nearly 12 years, yet she couldn't bear to tell him the news she had received an hour prior to this very moment. She couldn't hide this from him, it wasn't fair to him. He deserved to know what was going on, even if it meant that he saw her differently than he had all of these years.
"I'm pregnant with a stranger's baby" Rosa finally whispered, guilt persuading her to expose her secret.

In all honesty, Y/N never liked fighting with her parents, especially TK. TK was her lifeline and even though he hadn't been there when she was born or with her in her early years, he was certainly making up for it. So when they fight it breaks them and Carlos. Carlos may have never wanted kids, or at least not yet, but when he met TK's little girl everything changed. Y/N is both of their's whole world even if she doesn't know it.
Y/N didn't like keeping things from her parents but for some reason, she thought this had to be kept from them, what a mistake that was. She wanted to go to a party that her boyfriend, Max, was throwing and attending. Her dads never really liked this boyfriend of hers and thought he was a bad influence. After some persuasion from her and she promised not to fall for his traps they let her date him. The party was on a Saturday and it was a Friday night so now she had to persuade them to let her go and if they said no then she was going to sneak out.
They had just sat down for dinner when she thought it was a good time to bring it out. "Hey, a friend of mine is having a party this Saturday. Can I go?" She asked as she took a bite of her food. TK and Carlos looked at each other.
"Which friend?" Carlos asked after we swallowed and before he took a drink of his drink.
"Kathleen." Y/N said liking the way this was going. Even though that was a lie and Max was throwing the party.
"Are her parents going to be there?" TK asked and when Y/N didn't answer they knew the answer.
"If no parents are going to be there, then it's a hard no." Carlos said
"You guys never let me have fun. It's just one unsupervised party. Max is going to be there." She said getting angry.
"The answer is no especially since Max is going to be there." TK said and she huffed.
"Oh come on! You guys are never going to like him if you don't trust him." She exclaimed
"He doesn't give off very good vibes Cariño." Carlos said trying to stay calm.
"You said you were going to give him a chance." She said and they both sighed.
"We will but not when he's going to be at an unsupervised party with our daughter." TK said and she huffed. They finished their supper in silence, once she was done she stormed off upstairs.
It was a Friday night which meant that both of her parents had to work well into the night, well TK would be working a full 24 hours and Carlos an 12-hour shift. She smiled when she remembered that. They were both going in at 10 PM and it was just now 9:50 PM. Carlos and TK were getting ready and discussing if they really wanted to leave her alone, but they both came to the conclusion that she was a smart girl and that she would make wise decisions. They liked to think that they raised her right. As both the parents were done they walked to the bottom of the stairs. "Y/N, we're about to leave!" TK yelled out and she came downstairs even though she was mad at them she still loved them. When she got down they hugged each other and said their goodbyes and love yous to each other and they were off. Now she just had to wait until they were completely gone. The party started at midnight and would last well into the night and morning. She watched them leave and smiled to herself and waved when they waved at her.
Alright! They're gone! Wanna come over and get ready with me?
Kathleen: I'll be over soon!
Y/N smiled and threw her phone onto the bed and they began to get ready. The two girls talked and giggled. "How did you convince them to go?" Kathleen asked and Y/N shook her head.
"I didn't. They said no but Papa is working until 10 AM and Dad is working a full 24 hrs. I'm planning on staying with Max for the night." She said with a smirk.
"You sneaky little shit." Kathleen said and slightly slapped her on the arm as they both giggled. As 11:59 PM rolled around both of the girls were out the door and heading to Max's house, she noticed that it was colder than usual and wished that she would’ve worn warmer clothing. They got there right at midnight they walked into the house and Y/N greeted Max with a kiss and then a couple of minutes later the party was in full swing.
Around the 30-minute mark, Y/N lost track of Kathleen but she didn't care she was with Max and she had a couple of drinks in her. Her parents would be so upset with her but what they didn't know won't kill them. She was having a great time and nothing could stop it.
3 AM is when the party died down and officially ended at 4 AM. Max was there to make sure everyone was out and then it was just him, Y/N, and Kathleen. They all three looked at each other and then headed into the living room where they sat and talked. "This was probably the best party you've thrown." Kathleen said looking at Max and he smiled.
"I have to agree with that. I'm so glad you guys could come." Max said as he threw an arm over Y/N and she snuggled into him. Kathleen yawned and then they all laughed.
"Well, I better get home. Y/N you staying?" She asked and the other girl nodded.
"Let me know when you get home." Y/N said and Kathleen nodded and made her way out. Max and Y/N both decided that it was time to head to bed and Max would deal with the aftermath later. 10 minutes later she got a text from Kathleen that she was home and now she could sleep in peace.
★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★
Max and Y/N slept until their alarm went off at 9:30 AM. It was hard for them to get up neither wanting to leave each other's arms but she had to get home. She got up and put her shoes on and they both headed downstairs the house was trashed but neither of them cared and Max said he would take care of it later. She kissed him and then he was watching her be on her way. He hated that she had to leave but knew that she took a risk and came to the party.
When she stepped outside she shivered. When did it get so cold? She thought to herself as she made her trek back home. When she got to her driveway she saw Carlos' car in the driveway and froze, she would've stayed there much longer but the wind blew and sent a shiver up her spine. Maybe he was in bed and she could go through the front door but then he just got home so her bedroom window it was.
It was really starting to turn cold as she began climbing up the short distance to her second-story room. "Holy shit it's cold." She said to herself as she put one leg through her window that was thankfully unlocked and as she ducked to bring the rest of her body in she thought she was in the clear but she was in fact not.
"What do you think you are doing?" Carlos said and she froze she pulled her body into the room and looked at him.
"Just getting a fresh of breath air." She said and he frowned and crossed his arms.
"Did you go to the party that we said that you couldn't go to?" Carlos said and she didn't say anything "You know I'm going to have to tell your father about this." He said as he pulled out his phone and her mouth dropped.
"What? No. It was just one party and everyone was safe despite the alcohol being there." She said and they both froze.
"What did you just say?" He asked and she shook her head as her eyes widened. Just as one of them was about to speak the door opened.
"Guys! I'm home!" TK said and both of them were still silent. "Guys?" TK said as he walked up the stairs still in his uniform.
"What are you doing home?" Y/N asked TK as he took in the scene before him.
"Dad let me have some time off. Weather is coming in. What is going here?" He asked and she bent her head as Carlos answered.
"I just caught our daughter sneaking into her room after she snuck out to go to the party we told her not to go." Carlos said and TK's expression turned into one of rage and disappointment. "There was alcohol involved as well." He added and Y/N looked up.
"I didn't drink of it. After the party I stayed with Max and Kathleen went home. I wasn't going to walk back home in the dark." She said
"So not only did you lie to us about Kathleen throwing the party it was actually Max." TK said and she knew that she was defeated and when neither of them said anything they walked out and headed downstairs and she followed. When they got to the living room they turned to her.
"We are disappointed in you. We raised you better than this. We're grounding you." Carlos said and her jaw dropped.
"What? That is not fair! It was just one party and I learned from my mistakes." She said almost pleading.
"Not going to happen. You're grounded. End of story." TK said and she huffed and she stormed out of the living room and into the kitchen and they followed her. "Where are you going?" He added and she turned to them.
"I'm going to Max's house. I don't know when I'll be back." She said and stormed out of the house before her fathers could stop her. They looked at each other not knowing what to do but hopes she gets somewhere before the storm hit.
★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★
Y/N was in fact heading to Max's house but then it turned colder and it started to snow. This was not good. She had been walking clearing her head before she headed there that had been 6 hrs ago. She didn't even grab a jacket or anything to keep warm. Max lived several blocks away more into the country side of Texas. As she was walking to passed by another person that was walking trying to get out of the storm.
"Hey! I think we need to find shelter!" The male said and she nodded her head "I'm Nate Adams!" He shouted as the wind started to pick up.
"I'm Y/N Strand!" She shouted back the snow was falling faster and getting thicker. "Hey there is a cabin further up! It should be a good place to take shelter!" She said and they fought their way through the blizzard to the cabin. As they were climbing a steep bank of snow Y/N tripped and fell and into a puddle that hadn't quite frozen yet.
"Woah! Are you ok?" Nate asked as he helped her up.
"No, I'm freezing." She said a the wind died down but not for long. They made it to the cabin where they were luckily able to get in due to it being unlocked. By they time she got in her teeth were chattering. She sat down on the old couch as Nate looked around as she tried to warm up.
"There isn't any firewood and this place looks abandoned. I could go out but it would be a risk." He said and she shook her head as she shivered.
"Not worth the risk." She said as her teeth chattered.
"We need to find a way to get you warmed up." He said looking around once again. She really got a good look at him. He was tall about 6'0" and fit with some muscles. He had perfectly styled blonde hair that was cut short, but in a cute way, and some brunette was showing. He was handsome. Much cuter than Max if she had to be honest.
★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★
TK and Carlos were at home it had been 6 hrs since she had slipped out of the house and had ran off. They were getting nervous so what do they do? They call their fathers and let them know what is going and to keep a look out for the teenager. First they called Owen then they called Gabriel both letting them know that they would keep and eye out for her. Then they reluctantly called Max but he said that he hadn't seen her since this morning. Carlos came up behind TK and hugged him. "It's all my fault." He said and Carlos shook his head.
"No it's not. She has every right to be upset. We'll find her and she'll be just fine. She's a fighter after all. Look at who her dad is. She gets it from you." Carlos said and TK turned around kissed him. They both decided that they would go back to work that way they could help look for her and it would keep them from spiraling. They just hoped that she was ok not somewhere warm and safe.
★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★
It was now into the 14th hr and Y/N was doing worse. She didn't feel cold anymore and that scared her. Nate had given her his jacket hoping that would warm her up and it did but she was still in wet clothing which was defiantly not helping. She wanted to close her eyes but fought against it. She shakily grabbed her phone and found that it was nearly dead, she forgot to charge it last night. Everything felt numb and her phone didn't stay in her hands for long before it fumbled out of her hands. "I think I should go look for help." Nate said and she shook her head.
"No it's too dangerous." She said though it was coming out slurred.
"I promise I will be back." He got his phone "What is your number?" He asked and she gave it to him he saved it and sent a text and her phone dinged. "Now you have my number and can call me if I'm not back in 30 minutes." He said and she nodded and was going to give him his jacket but he shook his head. "Keep it. I'll be ok." He said and she got comfortable and he headed out. She hoped he would be back.
★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★
Carlos spent most of his time at the 126 that way he could be close to TK. Everyone was sitting around waiting for a call hoping they wouldn't get one and hoping they would at the same time. When they bells went off they took off and Carlos was right behind them. They had gotten a call about an unconscious teenager but they didn't get any other specifics. TK and Carlos along with everyone else hoped it was Y/N that way she would be safe with them but at the same time not because they didn't want her to be freezing. When they got to the destination they got to work. Everyone deflated when they saw it was a male and not a female. "What do we got?" Tommy asked as they got to work on him.
"16 year old male. Hypothermia. Unconscious." Nancy said as they began to move him and he started to wake up. "Sir, do you know where you are?" She asked.
"Y/N. Cabin." He said shivering TK and Carlos looked at each other.
"What about her? What's your name?" Carlos asked
"She's in the cabin about 20 minutes from here. Name is Nate." He said and then fell unconscious. Everyone looked at each other and seemed in agreement Nancy and Tommy would take him and the rest would head up to the cabin.
★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★
When 30 minutes came up she called Nate but before it could even ring her phone died and she groaned and put it in her pocket. She had gotten up from the couch and in the center of the living room. Why? She didn't know why, it just made sense in her head. The wind was howling and she could see the snow falling and had probably blocked the door. She was fighting so hard not to close her eyes but the darkness was inviting and it felt warm. She wanted to be warm. Before she could even begin to close her eyes there was shouting and banging on the door but she didn't have the strength to get up and open or make a sound. "Y/N if you can hear me, we're coming to get you." Carlos said but she didn't register it has being him everything was underwater and fuzzy. There was banging on the door and the windows and there was a crash and cold consumed her.
"Y/N!" TK hollered out and ran to her with Carlos right behind him. "Princess, you're ok." He said and when he laid hands on her he winced she was freezing cold and her clothing was like ice.
"Dad? Papa?" She said in a quiet voice and he pained them.
"We're here Cariño." Carlos said and bent down as both parents cradled her.
"So cold." She said and then fell into the more than welcomed darkness. This panicked them and everyone else in the room.
"Ok, everyone start making a clear path and Carlos you're going to drive her to the hospital." Owen said and everyone nodded and got to work. Carlos picked his and TK's daughter up and started to walk out of the cabin and straight to his car that had the heat blasting. He sat her down in the backseat and TK got in the back with her and hugged her trying to get heat to her and wake her but neither was working and that was scaring him. Carlos sped out of the country road and onto the main road with Owen and the rest of the crew behind them.
"How is she doing?" Carlos asked looking back in the review mirror and then back to the road.
"Not good. How close are we?" TK asked working on his daughter, something he never hoped he had to do.
"Here." Carlos said and threw the car in park and opened the back door for them both as TK grabbed her and they ran into the hospital. Owen had called ahead and warned the hospital and they were waiting for them. TK rattled off what was happening and they took off to begin the warming up process and hopefully the waking up process and hoping that they weren't too late.
★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★
3 hrs is how long the 126 had to wait for any news on Mini TK and they were a nervous wreck. If she was anything like her dad then tragedy and hospitals are going to be in her future.... a lot. They let Kathleen know what was going on and they let Max know too but only one responded. When her doctor came out they called out her name and the fathers and Owen walked up to her. "She very hypothermic and currently in ICU. Her body temperature was 89°F and we are getting it back up slowly. With her body temperature being low her body went into shock and sent her into a coma. We're currently monitoring her. We're only allowing two people to be with her at this time. Although people can stop in to see her only two people can stay the entire time." She said and they nodded.
"We're her fathers. We'll be staying with her." TK said and she nodded and lead them the way to her. When they got to her they felt their hearts dropped. She had been intubated and serval IV lines running to her. They took a seat beside her and waited. Everyone had left to finish out their shifts but they were right back at the hospital waiting on news.
Andrea, Gabriel, and Owen were the ones that stayed the most since they were Mini TK's grandparents. It was going into a week and nothing had changed. They did get information on Nate and he was awake and recovering. When he heard that she was in the hospital too he decided to pay her a visit. He asked the nurses where she was and they led him to her. Carlos and TK looked up when they heard a knock and they smiled and he returned it and walked into the room when they motioned him to come in. "Hey, you don't know me. I'm Nate Adams. You're daughter and I took shelter together." He said and both fathers agreed that they liked him better than they did Max.
"Thank you for getting our daughter to safety." Carlos said and Nate nodded. "How are you doing?" He asked.
"Better. I'm being released in a day or two." He said and they nodded and he sat down when they offered him a seat. They talked and got to know him and they really liked him. He eventually had to go back to his room but he promised to come and visit when he was able to and that made them smile.
★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★
It was during the night when she started showing signs of waking up. Both parents were asleep but woke up when they heard rustling and alarms blaring. Nurses rushed in and pushed them out of the way just as soon as Mini TK's eyes shot up and she began coughing. Orders were thrown out and they got her extubated and then once her doctor was happy with everything she left. Carlos and TK walked up to her and she smiled at them "I knew you guys would find me. I'm sorry for walking out and then getting caught in a snow storm." She said then her expression turned to one of seriousness "How's Nate?" She asked and they smiled.
"Hey, it's ok. We forgive you and we're both sorry." Carlos said.
"As for Nate. He's doing good. He came down to visit you earlier today. We really like him." TK said and she smiled and blushed. They talked for awhile and everyone came by to see her and bring her presents. They kept her in ICU for a few more hours when they were satisfied with her improvement they brought her to a regular room and wanted to keep her for at least two more days.
During those two days she was fussed over by Carlos and TK and everyone else. Kathleen had came to visit and they gossiped about everything especially Nate. Max had yet to answer texts or calls or even show up. While TK and Carlos went to get something to eat after her telling them that she would be fine they reluctantly agreed and went down to the cafeteria. She was watching TV when she heard a knock on the door and her thinking it was one of them members of the 126 told them to come in and then she looked over and saw Nate. "Nate! How are you?" She asked.
"Better now that I know you're ok." He said sat down in the chair beside her. She blushed madly.
"I tried to call but my phone died when I hit call." She said and looked down and he smiled and took her hand.
"Hey, its ok." He said and she smiled.
"How did they find you and me?" She asked
"Apparently someone called 911 and when they found me I told them where you were." He said and she smiled "I lost consciousness soon after and woke up here." He said with a smile. They continued to talk and it was real easy to talk to him. They liked the same things and had the same hobbies. They had so many things in common more so than her and Max. She really liked Nate better than Max even after one day. After all they did survive a freak blizzard together.
★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★
Carlos and TK were walking back up from the cafeteria and when they reached her room they paused. Inside was Nate and Y/N talking and seeming like they were enjoying each others company. They decided to let the two teenagers talk and they would come back later. As they were walking they smiled for several reasons. 1. Their daughter was ok and would make a full recovery. 2. She found another friend and hopefully an even better boyfriend. They really liked the idea of him and her together despite them not wanting her to grow up but if its with someone they like and someone that would treat her right and save her from a blizzard.... then that is a win in their book.

warnings : none, maybe some mediocre writing but nothing really. BLACK READER !!!!
word ct : 1,143
author’s note : heyy bestiess !! i thought taking the holiday break i got at school
and putting to use with this story could bring back the audience and refresh my account!
ive been thinking of a btr fic that has multiple parts and i think this is it! I feel like the ending is rushed but its literally almost 7 am and i haven’t had a wink of sleep yet. I have so much to do but im glad i took the time to sit down and write this for you guys! thanks for sticking around, and ill get to re-writing this soon.
much love!!
PROLOGUE.
katie had grown, she was eleven now, and arguing with her mother about how she didn't need a babysitter, she was able to take care of herself. she could put out a fire if she wanted to, and that sentence alone made ms. knight call you up.
you arrive at apartment 2J from 6E and knock lightly, and almost immediately the door is opened and an average height guy opens the door. he has pale skin, but his short brown hair and eyes contrast. he's built, but not bulky. hes surprised but smiles warmly. “you’re the babysitter for katie?” you nod and smile awkwardly under his slightly intense gaze, you shift your bag to the middle of your body as you hold onto its white leather strap with both hands. He watches  “yep, that's me.” he shifts his body to the side.
 “im logan, not katie’s brother but a friend of his. come in, katie’s in her room sulking since she didn't want a babysitter.” he says and you snort. “glad to know i wasn't wanted.” your comment causes him to chuckle. katie emerges from her room, walking up to you and huffing. “i honestly don't even know why my mom called you. ill just give you your payment and you can leave, easy money!” she cracks a fake smile you see right through. you place your hands on your knees and get eye level with her. “katie, im gonna be here for the 4 hours your mother requested me to stay. you’re stuck with me, girlie. if it was that easy i would’ve taken your offer.” she sighs and walks to sit on the couch as you stand
as you straighten your back and walk past her to the kitchen it was then you see three other guys now by logan watching what had transpired between you and katie with hooded eyes and a daydream-like smile. You stare for a sec until you clear your throat. “um, fun question. who are you three?” they introduce themselves and you get acquainted as katie gets you to do things with her around the crib. the four guys follow you around like a puppy dog and act like they arent when you turn to them, distracting themselves with whatever is around them. you snicker, then hours go by and ms. knight calls you up. “there’s a hold up at the office, do you think you could stay for 2 or 3 more hours maybe ? ill pay you extra, just please? i cant trust those boys for the life of me.” you chuckle and agree. “sure ms. knight, i can stay for a couple more hours with katie. she a cool kid so its no prob.” she thanks you immensely and promises to call when she can make it back, to which you assure her its no problem and the call ends.
you turn to katie and she look almost excited. “you can really stay longer? dont mess with me y/n.” she says and you giggle. “yea katie, you're stuck with me for a little while longer.” she smiles and pulls you to the kitchen. “ i wanna make cookies, easy cookies. like sugar cookies.” she says, and you nod. “We can definitely do that.” and you both get to work under four sets of eyes. You look up and crack a half-smile“Do you boys like sugar cookies?” you ask and they all nod quickly, carlos chiming. “yea,yea! love em, they’re so sweet, and pretty- i-i mean! Pretty good, y’know cuz they’re cookies, not–not a person.” the other three look over to him and scrutinize him with their eyes and he slumps in his chair. Kendall gets an idea and walks around to the kitchen, right between you and katie. “Is there anything you need help with, y/n?” you give him the dry ingredients and a bowl. “add these to the bowl, grab the measuring cups and ill tell you how much of what ingredient, ‘kay?” he nods and starts with your assistance, the other burning a hole in kendall’s face.
 “Why the long face boys? Did you wanna help too?” they all nod and you give each of them a bowl with ingredients and give them an assignment. everyone was working on their own thing in silence and thirty minutes later there’s a hot plate of sugar cookies on the table and each one of you has one in your hand, snacking and complimenting each other on their assignment. logan snorts. “y/n im not gonna beat around the bush anymore,alright? do you wanna go on a date with me?” he said, almost like normal conversation and thats when all hell broke loose. james looks bewildered, snapping his neck towards logan. “I was gonna ask her out first! How dare you, logan, ask this fine lady in such a way??” he says, winking at you and having you even more confused. Now kendall and carlos are having a screaming fight and before anything escalates you put a stop to it.
“all four of you, quiet! how about this,” you think to yourself and have an idea. “ill go on a date with all four of you, ONE date each. whoever’s date goes well in my opinion ill go on a second date with and further on. logan’s first since he was confident enough to ask me out directly. James next, kendall, then carlos. Sound like a plan?” they all nod and re-adjust themselves. “Now, the rest of the week im free until i get a gig or babysitting call. If you’re free this week it can happen.” they all agree and ms. knight comes home. “im home guys! mm, it smells really good in here.” she walks up and grabs a cookie, eating it and asking questions to each one you answer truthfully and take your leave. “bye katie, bye boys. logan, ill see you tomorrow?” he nods and the door closes and you walk to your apartment.
what’ve you got yourself into? thinking you’re being proactive but in reality you set yourself up for failure with this decision. but, you cant stress yourself out. whats done is done.

NUMBER 15 BURGER KING-- [#15 for the prompts !!!] - Katya <3
“I’ll find you.”
"C'mon. This shit better work."
As he laid Jill back down on the cot, Carlos finally took a breath. He did it. He got the vaccine. She was gonna be OK. He shuddered to think about what would have happened if Caterina hadn't led him to the clock tower. Even with a bullet wound in her side, she still cared enough about Jill to try and save her for a second time. Their little trio had become pretty close knit, considering they hadn't known each other for long and the girls absolutely did not like nor trust him at first. The injuries of his allies had him on edge for a minute, but things were finally looking up. Now that Jill had been taken care of, he wanted to check on Caterina.
She wasn't in the room. He thought he'd find her sleeping in a corner or under a desk, like how she napped under the seats in the subway car prior, but there was no trace of her. No trace except a note left on the counter by the door. It put him at ease and set his senses on fire at the same time. She wasn't suddenly missing, but she still left in the middle of a damn zombie apocalypse.
Jill, Carlos,
I'm sorry for leaving you both. I'm sorry for abandoning you. You both helped me so much, and this is how I repay you. I left to find my brother. I know he's here to find me. I can't leave him alone. I can't let him do this. I don’t have anyone else, so I want to stick by him until the end. I hope you both make it, and that Leon and I make it too. I've left my email in case you ever want to speak to me again, assuming we all survive. I wouldn't blame you if you didn't. I'm sorry, but I need to do this.
-Rina
How long had she been gone? Could he catch up and find her? No, he couldn't leave Jill all alone in this state. He cursed himself. He wanted to protect her, to keep her by his side. All the other civilians had died. She was the only one left. The other two were dead set on getting her out of this alive, saving at least one person, but she slipped through the cracks. His stupid, boyish crush on her didn't help either. It just hurt him more. He should have known catching feelings on a rescue mission wouldn't end well, and he felt so damn stupid. He felt so afraid.
He pulled a chair up, facing the door, and hoped and wished and prayed. She was going to be OK. She was going to find her brother and they were going to get the hell out of the city. He and Jill were gonna get in contact with their new friend and everything would be OK in the end.
"We're gonna get out of here, and when we do," he whispered his promise to the air. "I'll find you."
He didn't know exactly when he fell asleep, but he was startled awake by Tyrell bursting through the door.

The boss's daughter | LH44
Tumblr media
Pairing: Lewis Hamilton x Wolff!Reader
Sumary: Where Sir. Lewis Hamilton sneaks out with his boss's daughter.
Warnings: English is not my first language !!! mention of accidents!!
--------------------------
Telling your dad that you're going out with a person is usually a difficult thing. Now imagine my situation…I'm going out with someone and that someone works with my dad, I think things get a little harder. We met several years ago, but we started officially dating just over 6 months ago. Let's say we had a hard time realizing what we were feeling and then making the decision to give it a title.
And now what was costing us even more was telling Dad that Lewis and I were coming out. It wasn't for lack of opportunities, of those we had several, but for the fact that we had some fear of how he was going to react, it's stupid, I know but… with how nice everything is going, i would not like to have to leave him, nor would i want him to be in an uncomfortable situation. L- You think if I climb the podium today, can we tell you?
Y/N- Are you sure? i don't want you to have problems with dad because of my fault. We were in his motorhome having a little moment alone, before the race at Silverstone. L- I know we were only officiating 6 months ago, but I want you to know that I'm willing to take the risk for more, just tell me how you feel and I'll act on that, if we can't wait a little longer. Y/N- Really?, you're serious?, I don't want you to ruin your career for me.
Looking at him looking for something that would tell me the opposite of what I was listening to, but instead I found myself with a safe look. L- More than sure, we have known each other for several years and I think I know how to handle your father's character, plus we can say that we have Sussie on our side.
Due to a carelessness we once had, Sussie saw us kissing outside of Lewis' motorhome, luckily promised to keep our secret and help if Dad got anything stubborn. She and Angela are the only people who know about us, one because she discovered us, the other because we knew we could trust her, so we told her right from the start. Y/N- That's right and we both know Sussie can't say no.
We kept quiet for a few minutes, until I decided to talk… Y/N- It's okay… let's do it, but with one condition. Lewis looked at me attentively. - you sir , today you have to give me a podium. L- I think being able to show you to your father and the world as my girlfriend is more than the motivation I need, and I can't present myself to my father-in-law empty-handed. Our moment was interrupted by a knock on the door.
A- I wish I didn't have to bother them but…it's time to go to the garage. L- That's okay Angie, we were out anyway. To not delay, we immediately left the place. Y/N- Good luck champion, though I know you don't need it. Kiss him quickly before letting him go. As my boy was preparing, I went looking for my father as he would see the race next to him. Y/N- Hi Dad!
T- Hi honey, where were you? Y/N- Just walking around, I saw Lewis go by so I came, you think he will come up again ? T- Let's hope so, it's your career at home , so let's hope it will give you some motivation. With everything ready, the lights went out and the race started, unfortunately after a few laps there were accidents which caused the red flag, fortunately all are fine, just being taken to the hospital for caution.
After a while the race resumed its course and could be finished. Leaving Carlos Sainz's first victory in F1, Checo in second place and in third for Mercedes another podium for Lewis. In addition to being happy, for Lewis' podium, I was somewhat nervous about what could happen in a while. And I think for the first time in my life, I have no idea how my dad might react to something like this.
After the podium ceremony and interviews, my boy returned to the garage and was cheered for everyone. Y/N- You succeeded. I hugged him when I had him in front of me, when I was going to drop me from his arms, he did not let me leave, he simply separated a little our faces and kissed me in front of all, wait…IN FRONT Of ALL!!!!! T-I'm missing something?. We hear Dad's voice behind us. Y/N- Daddy I… Lewis and I…
L- We're leaving, we planned to say it soon but… He was interrupted. T- I already knew it!!, for a while, in fact, I didn't say anything, because I wanted it to come out of you. Y/N- What, all this time sneak us for nothing? Sussie laughed at our faces by her side.
T- You don't have to worry, you just have to know that, if it does harm you will be in many problems. L-Believe me I don't plan to do it. Dad smiled at us and left with Sussie to continue with some work. - So now I can kiss you freely, without fear of losing my head? Y/N- I think so.
Believe me Lewis Hamilton's lips are the best in the world.

The news is that Piers and Jake are together (Tumblr version)
Synopsis: Just Leon saying that Piers and Jake are together
(only 459 words, not beta read)
Chris is sitting on the couch scrolling through his phone reading emails in silence, Claire is lying on the floor watching a cliché Christmas movie she put on and Jill on the other couch talking to Carlos over video call. The sound of the front door opening makes Chris look over, Leon enters with Helena carrying shopping bags behind him, she goes into the kitchen as Leon walks towards them in the living room.
“I bring good news and bad news.” Leon says in the middle of the room he got everyone's attention, Chris is already looking at him, Claire pauses the movie and Jill asks Carlos to wait.
“The good news is that Sherry and Jake are no longer together, they both agreed that it wasn't working and they've had an friendly breakup.” Everyone is shocked by the words spoken since, Sherry and Jake were together earlier in the morning, Claire chokes on her saliva trying to speak.
“When did this happen? How do you know this before me?” There is obvious surprise in Claire's voice.
“Trust me, I'm also shocked that she told me before she told you.” Leon sits next to Chris.
“Not that I don't like Jake, but at least he's not part of your family anymore.” Jill says, Leon points at her.
“Well, here's the bad news for you, he's not part of my family but he's still in Redfield family.” Everyone looks at Leon like he has three heads.
“What–
“Jake is with Piers now.”
The room is silent, a part of Chris is waiting for Leon to say it's a joke, but he's seen how Piers Jake exchanged glances the last few days and Sherry was together all the time and didn't seem to mind.
“I can't believe my nephew is dating Wesker's son.” Claire says breaking the silence. “Is that how you felt when Sherry was with him?”
Chris ignore her and Leon laughs sliding down on the couch, he looks at Chris. “They're in the front yard, they want to talk to you, Jake might want your blessing or something.”
“Ahem, I’ll give him my blessing.” Chris says it sarcastically but there's something soft in his voice.
Chris goes to the entrance at the same time that the front door opens because Sherry is entering, Claire quickly gets up from the floor to talk with her and Chris leaves the house, Leon and Jill are in the room in silence looking at each other until:
“Damn, Wesker Jr. really decided he's going to be a part of this family whatever it takes.”
Carlos' voice comes out of the cellphone startling Leon and causing Jill to laugh so loud that she nearly falls off the couch.
*******
I really needed to get this idea out of my head, it's a tumblr version cuz i'm thinking of making a fanfic (not just dialogues)
