Your hands were shaking so badly that you couldn't wrap your own wrists. There was no going back after this. You couldn't go running back to your family for help after tonight. Going to work for AEW had been a risky move, one that Stephanie and Hunter warned you would get you "excommunicated" by your parents. Stephanie and Hunter had called you to tell you that they were proud of you, no matter how your match went, but your parents hadn't done the same. Since your release from WWE and then your signing with AEW, both of your parents had cut off all contact with you. Shane hadn't spoken to you in almost two years, but he had never really liked you. Stephanie hadn't been overly fond of you growing up, but once you grew up things sort of changed. Tonight might push that relationship back a few steps, especially with the video package that Tony had decided to release.
"Here, let me," Rhea said as she pulled your hands towards her. "It's going to be okay."
"Steph's gonna kill me for what I said," you whispered. Rhea was pretty sure that your sister wouldn't kill you for revealing certain family secrets, but she'd definitely be mad at you.
"If they never want to talk to you again, that's their loss. You don't need them anyways, you've got a whole new group of people who can be your family if you let them," Rhea told you. You swallowed back some of the tears that had been caught in your throat all day as you tried to relax. "I mean, I'm looking at the next TBS Champion. This is only the beginning, you're gonna get everything you ever wanted and more. It'll just be on your terms, not theirs."
"Y/n, 10 minutes," a PA said as she poked her head into the locker room. Rhea finished wrapping up your hands and leaned down to kiss them.
"Let go, pretend that it's all for you when you're out there. You get to decide who's along for the ride from here on out," Rhea told you. You wrapped your arms around the back of Rhea's neck as you hugged her. Rhea held you tightly and pressed a kiss to your cheek before she let go of you. You were still nervous, but you knew what had to be done. The video package started rolling on the monitor and you made your way over to where Jade was already waiting. WWE had been your home for years, the kingdom that your father had built, and as you saw some of your former peers, you realized that not all of them would leave you just because you had left them.

Mami's Breakthrough!
Chapter 1
Part 1
Pairing: Rhea Ripley x Fem reader
Description: Rhea was getting tired of Finn and Damian fighting so when she arrived at the hotel she decided to take a walk when she came across this wrestling show and she met the diva who runs it and wrestles in it.
A/N: This is the for the first chapter of my fanfic Mami's Breakthrough! Enjoy.
Word Count: 662 for Part 1 (The total of the whole first chapter is 2663)
Rhea's POV: "Let's go to the hotel. I'm tired of you guys fighting." I said as I grew more pissed at Finn and Damian. The ride to the hotel was full of silence and once we arrived at the hotel the arguments started back up.
"Why is JD in Judgement Day business? It's only allowed to be Judgement members." Damian said to Finn. "JD is my friend. We've been friends forever. Plus you don't hear me complaining about you talking to Bad Bunny after you said that you would end his career at Backlash in Puerto Rico and you lost." I stopped in my tracks and grabbed my jacket, my phone, the room key, and my purse. I texted Liv Morgan and it went like this.
Rhea😈: Hey Liv. I’m going for a walk out on the town. Do you want to come? I need to get out here before I kill Finn and Damian.
Liv💙: Yeah sure. I heard that there’s this wrestling show going on right now and Trinity (Naomi) apparently knows the girl who runs it. Do you want me to invite Trin?
Rhea😈: Yeah bring her along. I could use the girl time right now.
Liv💙: Ok. Meet us downstairs.
Rhea😈: Ok. Bring your room keys and your purses. I’m heading downstairs right now.
Once I was done texting Liv I looked at Dominik, Finn, and Damian. I said “I’m heading out before we have to go out with WWE. Finn and Damian if you don’t get your shit together we’re gonna have problems.” I walked out of the room and I walked to the elevator and went to the first floor. While down on the first floor I saw Stephanie and Hunter and I said “Hey me, Liv and Naomi are going for a walk out on the town we’ll meet you at the bar. Is that ok?” Stephanie said “Yea don’t worry about it, Rhea. I’ll have someone text you, Liv, or Naomi when we’re at the bar and you 3 can just meet there.” I said “Ok. Thank you.” They walked off and I heard the elevator ding. I see Naomi, Liv, Jimmy, and Jey all get off the elevator. I said “Hey girls. Sup twins.” Jimmy and Jey waved. Naomi said, “I tried to tell them that it was a girl’s night for you and you wanted us to come so you can breathe and get your mind right but they told me that they are not going to let me go alone only cause of the creepy guys who are out so I just told them that they could come.” I nodded and said “That’s fine with me. I just need to get out and blow off steam before I kill Damian and Finn.”
We all left the hotel and we walked into this place that had like at least 137,379 people in it and this beautiful, gorgeous, astonishing woman walked out and said “Welcome to Eastern Oustanding Amazing Entertainment Pro Wrestling aka EOAEPW where everyone is accepted. Even though I’m the owner I will be wrestling for you tonight. My name is Gretchen Foster but my full name is Gretchen Wilhelmina Janene Dodie Foster but in the ring, I’m known as “The Nightmare Demolisher” Eliora “Evie” King. I’m glad that you’re here. Let’s get the show started. The first match scheduled for one fall is for the Demon’s Championship Belt. Introducing the champion weighing in at 6’6”, 272 lbs from Ogdensburg, New Jersey, Nathan “Quickdraw” Bernard, and introducing the challenger weighing in at 6’3”, 160lbs from Streetsboro, Ohio, Shane "Big Boy" Stone.” We sat and watched the match. Shane put up a good fight, but in the end, Nathan was able to secure the victory and retain his championship belt. After the match, Nathan celebrated with the crowd, as Shane accepted defeat with a humble nod. Nathan and Shane embraced each other and the crowd cheered in appreciation. Nathan then thanked the crowd for their support and Shane did the same.

last song i listened to: nick cave’s performance of a rainy night in soho at shane macgowan’s funeral
last movie i watched: the talented mr. ripley - what a picture! for some reason i didn’t think i would like it at first, on some level i am suspicious of matt damon even though by now i’ve really liked him in a few things. and i was totally wrong, very cool movie. in a way…. we are all the talented mr. ripley #godbless
currently watching: six feet under with my mom, we always have some network tv show we’re working on, usually one she wants to revisit that i’ve never seen before. this one isn’t really my thing but that’s life. frances conroy slays though & my late uncle plays a homophobic deacon in a couple episodes, i always love seeing him pop up in things :)
other things i’ve watched this year: oh god, so much. as far as tv goes, my favorites have been peep show, veep, succession season 4 (the prior two are both succession writers’ projects as well lol) and a rewatch of (most of) search party. vis à vis movies… oh man. i’ll do an end of year list soon (the year is ending soon????) because there have been so many i’ve absolutely loved
currently reading: well. not much. :/ though for some reason the past few years i’ve found that i’m able to focus on reading better when i’m away from this house (who knows what’s going on there) so hopefully i can get a book or two in when i’m dog sitting in a couple weeks, fingers crossed!
currently listening to: i have been in screamales mode since the breakup a couple days ago
currently working on: a final paper about nēhiyawēwin, the Plains Cree language, which has been very interesting to learn about
current obsession: an end to western hegemony within our lifetime

So John Cena. How did he meet Shawn and the Undertaker? What is age difference between him and the kids? I have an idea for a fic ...
Give me your fictional family history for Shawn and the Undertaker.
So I did do a single dad au for shawn in which he was a teen dad that ended up with John after the mothers parents bascially said she has more of a future than you so you have to have the kid. Then obviously taker and shawn meet in the wwe and Leon and cassie come along. In that au there would be a 18 year gap between Leon and John. As Leon is born in 2000, cassie 2005 and John 1982. So yeah, it is a big age gap but taker and shawn only get serious after shawn gets clean and well Leon comes along.
But obviously I'm down to hear your idea because in literally any other au I have never thought about how John fits in at all.

BIOGRAPHY:
Trash. That’s what everyone in the town of Asheville said about the Van Sant family. The family of seven lived in a cramped, falling to pieces house on the outskirts of town. Ripley was the middle child of their family. They grew up entirely too poor and Ripley’s father kept two jobs in order to keep the family afloat while their mother worked her own odd jobs when she could. Which basically left Ripley and their four other siblings adultless most of the time, especially since their nearest neighbor was at least six miles away. What the Van Sant family lacked in money, they gained in being a close knit family. Ripley’s mother told them bedtime stories and when their dad was home, he would play catch with his children.
There were rumors about the family being drug pushers. Ripley’s father was said to be a drug lord and did all his business out of the shed in the back yard. Their mother was said to sell on the side, since she didn’t have another job. The rumors were all over the place from a comment here and there, to there being actual conspiracy theories about it. Ripley can’t count the number of times the police showed up at their door, expecting to finally find evidence of their father’s crimes. But the rumors weren’t true. They were just a below average American family with nothing but each other.
Life was okay with Ripley until they turned six and their parents got a divorce. It didn’t surprise anyone — they’d been having problems for a while and with little money saved up, tensions in the house had grown high. Ripley was too young to understand what was going on, but suddenly their father was gone, leaving only one parent in the house. It didn’t bother them because honestly it wasn’t much different than before, except Etta wasn’t around as much, babysitting near by kids.
Almost six months went by before Ripley said their father again. In that time, their mom had started dating someone new, her childhood sweetheart. Ripley’s father was appalled that she had the never to be in a relationship after such a short amount of time after their divorce, and to someone they’d both been friends with in high school. But Ripley didn’t understand the problem, Leslie was a very nice women and they liked her very much. Their father ran out of the house and swore never to return, which is a promise he kept.
Eventually their momma married Leslie and they moved into a slightly bigger and better house. The seven year old had no idea what was happening, but suddenly, they had a room they only had to share with one sibling, not three. And instead of having a mom and a dad, they had two moms and no dad. It was an adjustment, but they really did love their new mom.
Things started to change for Ripley when they entered high school. The kids around them started paying more attention to clothing and shoes, things that they knew they could never afford. Despite living in better conditions than before, their parents still didn’t have extra money to buy fancy things for their children, especially when it wasn’t one pair of Converse, it was five. Which Ripley didn’t mind at first. Then other children started making fun of them for their handed down clothing and ripped shoes. They were already younger than everyone there, having skipped two grades. Something in them snapped. They were better than them, even if they didn’t have what everyone else around them had. At first it was little things that Ripley did that got themself into trouble; fights with other students, talking back to teachers, and snapping at anyone that tried to help. When that stopped satisfying them, Ripley sought out other ways to be a little more defiant — stealing, lying, going to parties, getting drunk.
It wasn’t long before they fell in with the wrong crowd, where they started dealing and doing drugs. Ripley’s teachers all tried to get more involved with their life and keep them away from the groups of people they’d gotten in with, but the more they tried, the more Ripley pushed them away, refusing help from everyone, including their own family. With a steady income from the drugs they was dealing, Ripley could get anything they wanted. Those people that made fun of their plain clothing, boring sneakers, and handed down cell phone, watched as they suddenly owned the best they were willing to buy. They rose to the top, surrounding themself with the people that used to make fun of them — if only to prove that they had the ambition to do what it took to prove everyone wrong.
All good things must come to an end however, and things feel fast for Ripley. Senior year of high school, Ripley overdosed on some prescription drugs they’d taken before class — a mix of things they didn’t even know what they were. Rushed to the hospital, the doctors managed to save their life and they were sent to rehab for the rest of their senior year. None of those friends they made visited them.
When they were released, Ripley ended up redoing their senior year, but rather than finish school off in Asheville, his parents relocated to Blowing Rock, North Carolina, a smaller town, where no one would know what happened to them. And luckily, it helped with the healing process. They managed to get through their senior year with little effort and without doing a single drug, even with temptations at parties. They graduated the top of their class and at seventeen, they had the pick of college. But they did something unexpected: they stayed for two years at community college in a year and a half before transferring to a four year university in Chicago.
They graduated from the Illinois Tech with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and Applied Physics before going to graduate school at the same school for a master’s degree from the same college. School has always been something important to them and their goal: space exploration.
Eight years later, Ripley is getting their PhD in Aerospace Engineering. But it’s their side business that’s what’s gotten them put on the map. Cryptids and Crime is their popular web show they started in their free time when they moved. The show focuses on different crimes and cryptid stories throughout the world, though their main focus is on the supernatural. Space and the unusual have always been a big part of their life, especially after their older brother Pip got them obsessed with the X Files at a young age.

Does it pass the Bechdel test? Yes
Basic Plot:
Set in 1719, a female warrior of the Comanche Nation fights a Predator
Overall thoughts:
Prey is an exciting and immersive film. The acting, story, themes and special effects are all of a high quality. Unlike the problematic Predator film directed by Shane Black, there is no ableism or inappropriate casting. Ironically, Prey has a lot more in common with Alien and Aliens than the other Predator films. For instance, Naru, Amber Midthunder’s character, is a lot like Ellen Ripley since they are both strong and smart women who are underestimated by their enemies and most of their peers. Still, there are references in Prey to the first two Predator films. The Predator in this film is unlike previous depictions of its species with its unique head design as well as true use of weapons with Western and indigenous American styles. The main lesson of Prey is that people should only hunt to live (like the Comanche) instead of living to hunt (like the Predators). Furthermore, Prey highlights the cruelty of some European colonists as well as the disastrous ecological problems they created in the North American continent. Ultimately, Prey is the most insightful member of the Predator franchise.
Overall rating: 4.9 out of 5 stars.
