what shaders are those? or lighting mod? im not sure which it is, but what cc are you using to get such beautiful lighting?
Aw, ty nonie! ♡ (/v\*) I am no gatekeeper, and I wish it was just shaders and in-game lighting. That would make things so easy on me! But alas, these photos were taken with my kinda lame personal gshade preset and then edited with a little free app called 'Meitu'.
Example: just my shader on the left, edited on the right.
Then I use the free app 'Picsart' for all the sparkles✨️
Now it passes the vibe check and looks exactly how I imagined it! 🙌
I do use @lotharihoe 'out of the dark' lighting mod, tho.
I know this is kinda disappointing, If someone had a gshade that actually made my game look like that, I'd be all over it! But everything I've tried just doesn't. But I'm open to suggestions, everybody♡ (づ_ど)

hi! I just wanted to let you know that the last patch broke your minimalist wrench mod. I took all my cc out so there was no conflictions with anything and it fuzzed up icons in cas still. sorry🙈

Oh nooo!
This is strange, though, because I've been using it since the last update and it's been working just fine for me. ^^; I also haven't had any other reports of it being broken, or of any other CC wrench replacements breaking with this patch.
Can you try re-downloading the file and see if that fixes it? It's possible the update might have corrupted the file in your mods folder. Also confirm you have the latest version.
If that doesn't work, let me know! Also, anyone else having any issues…?? I'd like to figure this out if I can! 😊

do you have any recommended gshade presets?
Almost all Reshade presets work with Gshade too! a little tip, with gshade you don't really need to worry about downloading anyone's recommended shaders, Gshade already has everything one needs in it. also if your game doesn't look like the reference photo's it's likely they edited them so don't let yourself get too frustrated. Any who, here are a couple of suggestions:

Hi! I was just wondering if you’re following an actual SDV challenge or if you’re just basing it on the game/timeline of events? I love your SDV characters sm!
I really appreciate you saying that, Thank you so much!💖 At first, when I saw @citrlet making her SDV OC as a sim, it seemed like a fun idea to create my own SDV OC as a sim and maybe even try making some of the other characters. But as I kept going, I couldn't resist recreating some of the events in the game that happened to me personally and the scenarios I had envisioned in my head. I figured since I already made the Sims, why not? It also worked as a way to gush over my new hyper fixation and stay active on simblr without hopefully annoying anybody too much. (๑﹏๑//)
So yeah, I'm just doing things that make me happy to sum it up.
I did find this sdv challenge By @hemlocksims if you were interested in one. I might consider it myself.

sorry to bother but do you have a guide to using gshade? and is it still considered dangerous? i've been trying to look it up but all i've gotten is warnings about it having malware
downloading gshade from gshade's website directly is currently safe. There is no malware there for windows, I redownloaded just now and scanned my pc just in case. Direct link <-
But if you're feeling iffy about it, go for reshade!

The only thing I did differently was when it came to locating my game. Instead of selecting browse, I right-clicked on sims 4. find 'open file location' click it. Find 'TS4_x64' right-click, then select 'copy as path'. Then paste that into the target game slot.
I did a little clip just incase :)

Of course I'm gonna talk about jazzi! Lol!
Jazzi was supposed to go to college, but she failed to get into the one she wanted (Brightchester), so she decided to use her college money to try supporting herself as a freelancer. It was a really scary decision for her to make, though we didn't get to see that happen.
We haven't met Jazzi's big city friend 'Cherish' yet, but they met when she was vacationing in Tartosa with her fiancé. Jazzi helped them take cover when a big storm hit (and they helped her carry her easel & art supplies inside in turn).
Jazzi is multicultural, her mother is Tartosan, and her father is komorebin (from grandma's side) & Tomarangian (from grandfather's side).
I said she was a landscape painter, so in game, I only let her paint landscape paintings (they're $100 to make) for gameplay effect.
Jazzi struggles at cooking, so she gets tense when forced to prepare food, lol!
