hey👋, I was wondering what your oc's would be like without trauma? I was reading some of your asks and I just thought of that trend of drawing your characters without trauma and I was wondering how they would be? Of course you don't have to draw it😅 Would be silly of me to ask you to draw all that. If you feel like it, I'd love to hear what would be different with them❣
What can I really say, except they'd be exceptionally boring? "Trauma" is what shapes them as actually worthwhile characters to me.
Breg would be in bumblefuck nowhere, living in the wild in a tribe of breeders, having no attraction to humans and no real drive beyond providing as well as possible to his community given his superb physique.
Fasma could have been a famous sort of TV personality if he leaned into his charm early on, was more humble about things, didn't trail down skeevy paths.
Grimbly and Catalina would have been together, perhaps even with Rinx! Or maybe Catalina and Rinx wouldn't have met at all and Grimbly didn't exist.
Santi would... Well, I don't doubt he'd still be a fairly successful incubus, but he wouldn't be a romantic. In fact, he'd probably be an ass? No idea.
Patches would be dead. Nebul likewise. Undeads require some form of deep trauma, physical or emotional/of the soul, to be born.
Krulu would have been made a Father when his creations were found, and disappeared with the rest of siadar.
Miara would not wear her hood.
Hudd's body would be complete, his form wouldn't require him to project facial features, but he wouldn't be a remarkable historian at all. Just a wallflower.
Fank-e would remain unaware and non-sentinet as a service unit.
Vinnel would be a functional slime, and he'd work as a very normal and wholesome circus performer.
We could go on and on about this, but the gist of it is most would lose any sort of... Appeal.

this blog treats pokémon like animals ( that just so happen to have supernatural capabilties and are also able to understand human speech ) , since they're essentially the animals of this world despite having a penchant for battling and being — y'know , pokémon ! pokémon are also commonly eaten here on this blog ^_^💧
interactions with eebydeebies and sapient / sentinet mons are verrry dependent and selective , so i apologize in advance !! </3
i also hc that domesticated pokémon are trained to have their moves be less lethal in battles than if they were to give it their all like they were fighting for survival , for obvious ethical reasons . this is why pokémon simply faint in battle instead of just dying from the attacks and how their trainers don't get caught up in the crossfire . 'mons that have fainted aren't necessarily unconscious , but merely don't have the energy , ability , etc to continue battling , which is shown in the anime . battles aren't supposed to be deadly , but can definitely shift that way if not careful
( + ) " revivals " are temporary solutions for when a 'mon faints , but a trainer should always check in to the nearest pokémon center after a battle regardless
levels aren't really a thing on the blog and aren't needed in order for pokémon to evolve ! i don't consider " HP " to really be a thing either , other than just a marker to determine how close your mon is to fainting :P natures and characteristics mean nothing to me >:3c
i’m aware that the pokémon universe and rotomblr have this sort of — weird space time continuum and multiverse , so !!! 0_0 my blog won’t have too many weird timeline hijinks for the most part other than a few brief mentions / incidents , since i just assume everyone lives in the same universe - ish !! if i interact with two different blogs that just so happen to rp the same character , i wont mention any past rps that they werent apart of since !! different portrayal !!! since diwata is my sona , he'll still age with me ^_^

I'm a fan of Sentinet AU and of JTTA
While playing the festival my mind started drifting and-
What if Sentient AU, with older IK? I don't think IK would play it for the otome part (picks all the friendly but neutral options) but I can maybe see IK getting the game to try and fit in with her peers? Older IK with no elder demon brothers in a school with next to no/no friends at all, her father working near 24/7 seemingly, and she herself getting a part time job... basically very lonely IK hears her group project members talking about a nee otome game that was currently the craze in their friend group, and they start to badger IK to get it (or IK gets it herself to try and bond with them...?) The other kids get bored of it really quick but IK decides to try and stubborn out the story because she was genuinely enjoying the brothers' interaction with one another. "I wish I could have brothers like that..."
Then they start to become sentient (possibly in order of pact, though their sentience isn't gained automatically after the pact with in-game mc is made, just in order). Either other characters become sentient afterwards or they never do.
Weird family bonding between a lonely girl and her 7 sentient demon brothers from an otome game.
ooo interesting concept!! i wonder what all this is like to the brothers once they become self aware? does their world persist when the game is turned off, or are they only 'awake' for as long as it's open? are they restricted to whatever space ik has open in the app at the time?
i feel like each brother 'hears' something that snaps them into sentience. i like the idea of them being in pact order! maybe it happens once ik herself feels connected to their character, and upon 'waking up', the character remembers everything that's happened since the game began. maybe they do exist in a sort of other world in-game, and they only became aware of its nature upon becoming self aware
it's probably kind of a harrowing experience, realising that their personalities and experiences were all fabricated and pre-written, but ik likes to 'talk' to them while she's playing the game, and the semblance of normalcy + the fact that ik seems to think they're pretty great despite their coded nature is comforting
over time the brothers start being able to manipulate the dialogue boxes to say what they WANT to say, rather than what's been programmed... ik probably doesn't even notice at first since she doesn't really engage in the fandom, so she just kinda assumes the game is adjusting to the fact that she never picks the romance options. she only starts getting suspicious once the the story itself seems to start going off on another path entirely
realisation comes when one of the brothers calls her by name (having overheard it from her father) when she doesn't use it for her in-game character. it's bound to be bizarre as hell but having a bunch of friends in her phone is probably a lifesaver for this poor kid, especially as the brothers gain more and more control over the game

In retrospect I really can’t hold against Collector his... a bit murderous intentions(either he is fully aware of them or not).
I mean. Eda made her vegetables alive to order them to kill themselves for her food.
King made his toys sentient to make them serve him and treate them like trash. And later murder them after they rebelled from this treatment.
I guess it’s just how you treat sentinet life that is below you.

Solomus trudges painfully out of Rung's room, following trickles of light. Adaptus greets him outside, leaning against a wall.
"Ooh, he's got it bad." The smaller jet croons, taking a drag of his pen. "He'll do this for a week straight before crashing. Hope that new body is just about ready. He usually burns through whatever he has on."
Solomus, bleary, watches their Maker frantically transfigurating every boulder he can find into sentinet metallico.
"Can he be... stopped?" Solomus asks. Trees also fall into sapient-ready metal ooze.
"Unless you want him to break your dick more than he already has, no." Adaptus replies, jerking his pen out of Primus' reach as it runs over and tries to grab it. "Hey, go get your own nuclear waste. I have dibs on this."
Solomus, carefully, plucks their Creator up. It squirms but, eventually, settles into clampering into position. Uncomfortable, that.
Come along, back to your room. Maybe he can hold you off ruining the building for a little longer.

for that 'fact exchange' meme.... I jokingly have taken to calling Yvair a 'Disney princess' because he has a way of connecting with / communicating with animals (in one of the da games, there's actually a class that essentially can do this and i consider this a subclass of his). It's just something he's always been good at and whenever someone is surprised by it he usually is confused for a moment because he forgets for some people it's just not a normal talent to have.
Tell me a fact about your oc and I will respond with a semi-related fact about mine!
Due to Ziv having a natural strong mindshield, she can not build up telepathic bounds with animals as it is usual for Jedi interacting with non-sentient animallife. However, considering the Tynnans inner life, it is better this way as when her inner life and feelings are shared with an animal this could very easily lead to disaster and maybe lead to the animal wildly attacking bystanders.
However, Ziv had always been more a scientist than anything else, so she is able to anylse and expect a animals behaviour and use their natural instincts for herself. Due to her species way of communicating (Pheromone signals mainly), she can easily read most alien-faunas moods and expect and predict their reactions that she then can use for herself. Her vocalchords also allowe her more easily copying those animals sounds, so she can even call easier for them. Thats why some animals actually seek her out when she is working outside on fields.
In general Ziv is a little irked out by animallife that most people precieve as cute because most of their features are similar to hers and seeing those features on a non-sentinet lifeform gives her a uncanny valley effect that makes her very uncomfortable (She is horrible uncomfortable with friends and lovers having pets like tookas or Boglings becaus those alienanimals have features similar to hers and she thinks the only reason her friends/lovers interact wih her is because her features remainds them of their pets).
Thats why she prefers interacting with animals with lizardlike, snakelike or apmphibianlike looks as they are far away from her own features. Zivs favorite animals are snakes.

Click (splatoon oc) is so funny to me. He's a 20 something year old scientist who invented an Ai, didn't realise that ai was sentinet, Uploaded his memories to that ai so it could help whatever came after humans because he realised that there was no chance of surviving (this is. Post Alterna falling apart), Said Ai looks through his memories and realises "Oh my god he never got to see the sun" and works its non-existant ass off to get him to see the sun, even willing to destroy itself so that he can have a good life. They steal several bodies, mutilate said bodies and eventually are able to create a vessel for him and when he finally wakes up, for like. Two years he just. Studies and doesn't leave where he woke up. His only company is a Santised Inkling who was a pro turf war player once.
There's more to his lore but I think this enough for now. He's just. So silly to me

Also apparently Engie's teleporter had the ability to make bread sentinet.
To be fair it was less that the bread ITSELF was sentient and more like an unexpected consequence of the teleporter was producing a strange and hostile life form that mainly exists within an environment of wheat. (I mean the bread still mutates into an angry monster so perhaps the tumor-like phase is a larval stage. Engineer made a whole dang new form of life and he wasn't even trying to do that.)
At least he was responsible about it, studied it, and spent what he thought was his last few days trying to find a way to fix it and save his coworkers! CAn you IMAGINE if Aperture or Black Mesa got ahold of the same technology??
...Okay I know 'more responsible and ethical than Aperture' is not exactly an accomplishment but in the TF2 world it SHOULD BE
