Words you didn’t know are related: gold, yellow, cholera, arsenic, yolk, and more!
The Proto-Indo-European language (the hypothesized original ancestor language of most modern languages in Europe and South Asia, hereafter abbreviated “PIE”) had a root *ǵʰelh₃- ‘yellow, green’. Aside: How can this word refer to both ‘yellow’ and ‘green’? Historically, color terms in the world’s languages referred to a broader range of colors than they do today, and focused more on the texture…

Asherah, the original mother goddess of the early Semitic mythos. She was the wife of the supreme god El. Asherah birthed the Canaanite pantheon, from Baal and Astarte to Yam and Mot, all of them were born from her union with El. Asherah’s origins are unknown, however it’s believed that she was the feminine aspect of El. In one of the few surviving myths, Asherah is shown as Yam’s biggest supporter for the throne of the chief god. Her epithet of ‘Asherah of the sea’ illustrates just how important their relationship was. Despite her support, Yam ultimately loses to Baal for the throne. Asherah in modern abrahamic faiths was reduced to a false idol, with her ‘poles’ being targeted and destroyed.
Asherah is the earliest depiction of the Mother Goddess trope, with her role in Canaan being so influential it affected the religious landscape. The Mother Goddesses became a ubiquitous feature among polytheistic religions, to the point where the absence of one is something to note. Though her name was demonized in modern times, her essence still lives on in her descendants faiths. As Eve from the garden of Eden is proposed to be derived of Asherah. As El was the predecessor of the Abrahamic God, Asherah’s relationship to the omnipotent deity has become a focal point for her. Her legacy may even live on in the feminine aspect of modern god: Shekinah, and the gnostic Aeon: Sophia.

What modern-day ethnic groups have the most Semitic ancestry?
There is no such thing on Earth as Semitic ancestry. This is a common misnomer and one of the oldest and most ignorant of our century.
Semitic is about LANGUAGE, not ethnicity just like Bantu is about language not ethnicity.
Ethnicities who have native Semitic languages are
Arabs many Ethiopians and Native Hebrew speakers. The continent with the most number of Semitic languages is Africa! The greatest number of speakers of Semitic languages is Arabic.

Note
Because we speak out against what Israel is doing to Palestine, and has been doing to them for 75 years, we are labelled as anti-semitic.//
That just shows how uneducated they are. Because being Semitic means relating to the peoples who speak Semitic languages, especially Hebrew and Arabic.
And guess which language Palestinians speak?
That’s right, Arabic.
Great point.
And why are we being called out for being anti-semitic when they're not being called out for being islamophobic?
Either way, it's discriminating against people different from you or with a different religion.
And that is not only wrong, it is also illegal.
I don't support discrimination of any kind.
Free Palestine.
Free every oppressed person in the world.
Take down the patriarchy.
Maybe then the world would finally heal.

The Semitic term goes back to Sam, son of Prophet Noah, peace be upon him - This term was used in regards to a group of peoples who lived in the Middle East, specifically in the Levant, the Arabian Peninsula, and Mesopotamia. This name does not indicate that the Semites are a combined nation with one state and one common entity.
But what unites these peoples is their closeness in language, as it can be said that these peoples once had one language, and many dialects branched out from it. Then these dialects developed with time, turning into languages, and these multiple languages remained sharing one linguistic features.
I don’t want anyone to call arabs/middle easterns anti-semitic, when they themselves are semitic.
The anti-semitic concept has been used to counter argue with pro palestine supporters especially middle easterns and arabs.
It’s very invalid given the origin of the word. People who call arabs / middle easterns anti-semitic are nothing but ignorant and uneducated.

Temple of Zeus Hypsistos
Thelsea (Al-Dumayr, Syria)
94 CE (?)
The temple in Dumeir was a tetrastyle flat-façade temple with Semitic corner Towers. The temple was rededicated several times-  one inscription mentions the not well-known deity Aeichala and another inscription, now in the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris, documents that in the year 94, construction work took place. In this text, the deity is identified as Ba'al Šamem, the "lord of heavens". Later, the god was called Zeus Hypsistos, the Greek name of Ba'al Šamem.
Some modern scholars identify the group, or groups worshipping Hypsistos, with God-fearers mentioned in the Acts of the Apostles, gentile (non-Jewish) sympathizers with Second Temple Judaism.
The unusual building itself, essentially a monument with two gates, is perfectly preserved. It must have started as an enclosure surrounding a well.
While its construction date is unknown, it was probably a Nabatean building, likely converted to a temple around the 2nd century
In its present state, with walls standing seventeen meter high, the monument dates to the reign of Philip the Arab (r.244-249), who was born in the nearby Hauran region. Corner towers and staircases prove that rituals were performed on the roof, as was customary in Syria. In the Arab period, the building was converted to a fort, the gates being filled with stones.

An interesting altar, now in the Louvre in Paris, offers a lot of information about the people. Its hexagonal shape betrays Roman influence, but the inscription is in Nabataean, a language related to Arabic. It informs us that the local mayor was called "general" and that family relations were quite complex: the altar is erected by one Hani'u, freedman of a lady named Gadilu, daughter of Bagrat and mother of two sons, who were adopted by her second husband, Abdmaniku the General. One these sons, Adramu, became General as well. (The other son was called Nakidu.) Interestingly, the Seleucid Era is called the Roman Era and equated to the regnal years of king Rabbel II of Petra, indicating the double identity of the people of Thelsae.

When the 10 tribes crossed the Caucasus Mountain ranges, the people of the west referred to them as "Caucasians". This was a generic term and has nothing to do with race and nothing to do with White people. As they moved across Europe, they were called the “Sons of Isaac”. This term later became pronounced “Isaac’s Sons,” and later as "Saxons". Therefore, the so-called “Anglo-Saxon” races are part Semitic. Hence, the idiocy of the white Anglo-Saxon Protestants, when they proclaim themselves to be, whatever it is that they proclaim themselves to be. Also the idiocy of the Zionist factions, and Jewish zealots, when they accuse Gentiles and Anglo-Saxons of being “Anti-Semitic”, should one or more of their number stand up and point out Jewish crimes against humanity. The Semitic Race is the largest on the planet. The Phoenicians, Egyptians, Babylonians, Canaanites, Assyrians, Celts, Africans, Arabs, Slavs and the British peoples are largely Semitic.
Moreover, Anti-semitic is NOT being anti-Jewish…it means you’re against a whole bloodline of people.

This is just sad. Idk how can someone brag about such conduct?!?!! How can someone sleep at night? and the emphasis on “kids,” and children is heart breaking. Killing the most innocent and full of life creatures ever, is just sad, cruel and upsetting. With no shame, they say we killed this number as if killing is a normal thing to do.
