Just putting this here for my own reference, but! I came up with some prompts for a self-made screencap meme. A lot of these are based on cinematography techniques (I dug out my Bordwell and Thompson for this, you guys).

Screencap Meme for Myself (or Other Cinematography Nerds): 1. Pull Focus (two caps of the same shot, with different focuses) 2. Enjoy the View (shots of scenery, with few to no characters visible) 3. Camera Obscura (shots where a character's face is obscured by an object or another character) 4. Crane Up (overhead shots where a crane might have been used) 5. Make It Wide (wide shots where the characters' entire bodies are visible) 6. E/CU (shots of close-ups or extreme close-ups on objects or characters) 7. Props Master (shots of objects, with few to no characters visible) 8. Rule of Thirds (shots whose composition uses the Rule of Thirds) 9. Angles High, Angles Low (shots taken at a high angle or low angle; for bonus points, do a set of just canted angles!) 10. Cinematographic Magic (freebie prompt: do what you like, just include shots you adore!)
