so fun to track the specter of patriarchy thru homestuck. i mean it's exactly the same as tracking cal/LE but it's still fun. humans & cherubs & trolls twisting themselves in knots to litigate social classes. caliborn radicalized into extreme misogyny by the story he spends the rest of his life bringing into existence. you can't remove LE from the structure of sburb & its strict functional roles; you have to leave the game entirely

Homestuck reads to me like the work of someone who is very disillusioned with the dominant (white, capitalist, patriarchal) ideology of USAmerican society, but also doesn't necessarily have any better ideas on what to do about it

@dudesrock makes the good observation that, in contrast to the healthy pond around Jade's temple, Kanaya's desertified locale provides another pretty good reason why she might have had a hard time locating a frog anywhere near where she lived. as @mmmmalo rightly points out, the surrounding "HEINOUS BROODS OF THE UNDEAD" also suggest a post-apocalyptic setting; i've discussed Alternia as an apocalyptic planet before, but it certainly warrants re-analysis as more than just prepping the trolls for an apocalyptic game.
Scratch is an obvious culprit, which makes me think back on an interesting Scratch tidbit I've never really taken anywhere until now; despite our obvious view of Scratch as a doctor of precise, surgical manipulations, the first chronological appearance of his cue ball is as a bomb. Scratch is, in essence, built from a bomb Caliborn found: and despite his image, he continues to influence the narrative in this way.
so if Scratch's seeds are also bombs, it stands to reason that his manner of laying claim to a world involves bombing it? making the land uninhabitable to all but the hardiest warriors in the process...
(though we learn in this exchange that Scratch has been watching over Kanaya since her youth, we're never explicitly told what that actually meant. Scratch's enigmatic comment that "a dutiful girl raised in the daylight was protected by a bulb-headed guardian, and learned to glow in the dark after death" seems to imply he had a hand in her transformation, just as he had a hand in Rose's, but again, there's little indication as to how these two things are related.
Kanaya's Land of Rays, though, seems to draw a connection between rays of light and the radiation prevalent on Jade's planet. so is Kanaya's undead glow, then, supposed to tell us that she, too, is irradiated? a product of nuclear zombification?)

Hmmm... I should attempt at the Bard Class.
Classes and aspects that aren't with any of the human kids is difficult because we don't follow their stories as closely, and sadly for me, I can't get a very good idea of how their Medium world contrasts their home. I do feel like I have a good idea on the story of a Bard though, so let's give it a shot.
There are two phases in a Bard's story. Let's follow Gamzee Makara, a Bard of Rage, for this. The first phase is where the Bard will act completely inverse to their aspect. Gamzee was more aligned with the hope aspect. He was kind, believed in Juggalos, and he wasn't murdering everyone he saw.
In the second phase, Gamzee has a breaking point due so the nightmares from inadequate sleep and goes on rage-induced murder spree where he kills Nepeta Leijon and Equius Zahhak.
Consulting the wiki (give me a break it's been a while 😭) it seems Cronus Ampora has had similar phases. One where he follows a prophecy where he is destined to kill Lord English, and a second phase where he does not.
While Cronus when we see him is acting more within the hope aspect by believing he has rizz, I wonder if this is more of a default subdued state. After all, in Homestuck 2, Gamzee was not on a rampage before he was murdered. Then again, what would a hope-rampage look like? I have no clue. Thinking Cronus have a chance with any woman he sees feels like mania to me, I suppose. It is important to consider that the alpha trolls' stories were cut off before the game could end and emotional arcs might not have been concluded.
In Homestuck 2, whichever of the kids is a Bard will be leaning heavily into an aspect that has already been used (life, breath, heart, or hope).

idk if this is a foolish question, but you're like one of the only hs analysis blogs i follow and you seem to be interested in the mechanics of sburb so i thought i'd pose it here. what would happen if someone tried to prototype their kernelsprite with their cruxite artifact, like they prototyped the sprite once and then chucked their cruxite artifact into the kernelsprite to prototype it again?
Hello, Anon! Not a dumb question at all, don’t even worry about it.
Kernelsprites seem to prefer objects with some kind of coherent anatomical form to them, rather than just any old item laying on the ground. It improves functionality, considering the role they’re intended to play, and it’s also… Easier for the artist to design, lol. This is why John could prototype the Harlequin Doll, but couldn’t prototype the Book.
You probably wouldn’t be able to prototype cruxite on its own, in the same way you wouldn’t be able to prototype a weapon on its own. That said, you could probably get cruxite into a sprites prototyping if it’s combined with some other, easily prototypable object, such as a stuffed animal, or a corpse. Or a stuffed corpse. Think how Dave was only able to get a sword- which is a random item- in his sprite because it was already stabbed through a bird- an easily prototyped corpse.
What exactly this would add to the sprite itself… Remains to be seen. That’s up to your own personal execution.

I'm gonna reveal that I'm the one who requested about the Rogue of Heart. Ty for the links you mentioned there!
Now, first of, what would LOCAI/Land of Crowns and Inertia (belonging to an impatient Thief of Time; he competes a lot), Land of Glow and Unicorns (belonging to a DnDer and enthusiastic Sylph of Life), and Land of Scans and Frogs (belonging to an aspiring astronaut Mage of Space who also likes cats)?
Also, in terms of sessions, casting aside the fact the SBURB copy is heavily modded, what shenanigans could ensue with two teams consisting of (Team A->) Knight of Blood (M), Bard of Doom (M), Heir of Hope (F), Seer of Breath (FtM but mistaken for F), and Thief of Time (M) then (Team B->) Rogue of Heart (M), Sylph of Life (F), Mage of Space (F), Prince of Light (M) and Maid of Void (Bigender, MF)?
All I have so far are failed politic shenanigans, some far-off moments (specifically Thief of Time shenanigans), and certain people trying to perform game tactics like literal speedrunning their planets.
Sorry if these are too many...hehe...
Allie Light, Page of Life, out! *leaves for goodnight*
Quest for the Thief of Time:
On the Land of Crowns and Inertia, the consorts will be negatively affected by their player's inverse, the Page of Space. Perhaps they waste all their time waiting for a new king, such as the Thief of Time, to appear and begin ruling their planet. The consorts spend all day making art of their hypothetical king and writing stories about what they imagine he will be like. They have become entirely passive and are no longer able to make decisions for themselves. Additionally, time on the planet has begun to literally slow down due to the consorts no longer maintaining the magical clockwork mechanisms that keep it running. The planet is littered with ancient ruins filled with imposing statues of past consort kings and queens wearing tall crowns. The time mechanisms can be found within these ruins alongside tablets of old laws and customs. Unfortunately, the consorts have become too focused on writing fanfiction about the Thief of Time to go into the ruins and study their own history.
The Thief of Time must push the consorts into action by threatening to destroy the ruins if they do not use the history and machines within for themselves. The Thief will be able to convert the statues' crowns into grist. Some of this grist can be kept, but the rest of it must be used to help the consorts restart time's gears. Instead of becoming the new ruler, the Thief must put aside their pride and motivate the consorts to take charge of their destinies themselves, using their historical texts as a starting point.
Quest for the Sylph of Life:
On the Land of Glow and Unicorns, the consorts will be negatively affected by their player's inverse, the Prince of Doom. Perhaps the society of this planet has become one of criminal excess. Long ago, the consorts discovered unicorns in hidden corners of the planet that would grant you any wish if you found them. Large swathes of the sky on this planet glow, but the brightest parts are where unicorns are located. At first the consorts had great respect for the unicorns, and only asked for wishes when granted. However, a plague spread through their community and left the planet covered in ghost towns. The few consorts who remain have taken to kidnapping unicorns and forcing them to grant them money and power, out of a fear of not having the resources to overcome another plague.
The Sylph of Life must use their powers to free and heal the unicorns. Afterwards, they must teach the consorts how to be kind to each other and how to prosper again by rebuilding their communities. The Sylph must aid the consorts in setting up hospitals and regrowing their crops, so that they can once again have a peaceful, thriving society.
Quest for the Mage of Space:
On the Land of Scans and Frogs, the consorts will be negatively affected by their player's inverse, the Heir of Time. As it is on a Space planet, the focus of the quest will be to breed the Genesis Frog. Perhaps the frogs on this planet, whose DNA is needed to create the Genesis Frog, are all hidden in networks of buildings that can only be accessed by scanning codes hidden throughout the planet. Even an Appearifier is not able to view the inside of these buildings. The consorts of the planet have decided that it is their destiny to break into these buildings, and as quickly as possible. For generations, they have zipped about at top speed trying to come up with new ways to hack at and bust open the mechanical gates of these buildings. When they do succeed in opening the buildings, they cause so much destruction that it kills the frogs inside.
It is up to the Mage of Space to understand where patience is necessary. They must methodically scour their planet for the buildings' codes, using their creativity to find clues hidden in artwork and poems throughout their planet. This art was created by the consorts; they themselves have long since discarded it as a waste of time.
Session analysis will be in a separate post.
Hope this helps!

What's your thoughts on the Page of Doom? I really ike your blog so far :)
woohoo my first request on this blog !!
so lets start breaking everything down :
page : one who is exploited by or through their aspect
doom : decay , rules , control & sacrifice
so how do these mix ?
actually not that badly ! basically a page of doom would be VERY passive , , because itd all lead to a very , , doom bound person , , particularly so !! so basically theyd be very with the flow in how they act ; very much a helper ( which is in my opinion the best role for a doom player ) , someone who wouldnt have much control over what happens to them to their dismay , , say , they would have a particular lack of rules & control which would be very detrimental to them in the session in the beginning of course as is customary for pages , , but again as a page they would grow through their aspect .
theyd be , , to put it lightly , , not very stable , , and would probably be scared of their aspect because they would not understand the great power that it could imply , , but of course they wouldnt ! its hard to grasp how powerful a fully realised page and thats fair , , itd be a spectacle to behold !! but for now theyre a complete pushover and not particularly responsible , , opting to just , , ignore their aspect due to thinking theyd fail if they tried .
being such a troubled classpect , i think they would just do everything in their power to be someone they are not , , having an idealized version of themself that theyd try pretty hard to live up to , , id joke about it being doom guy but itd actually work pretty well as to how a page of doom would want to be like , , being recklessly destructive and tearing through everything that stands on their way blinded by their wrath , , but eventually coming to terms with their way of being and even embracing it !
powers :
again , , no flashy names sorry not sorry
well , , itd be hard to say honestly , , but based on jake ( the page of hope ) theyd be stupid powerful !
id say theyd be able to be engulf everyone in a specific radius in doom , , making them either decay slowly , , like some fucked up poison effect in pokemon , , or making them be more prone to sacrifice , , say maybe to the pages advantage ?
although thatd be on a higher level , , onto the easier stuff :
theyd be more than a healer a support , , being able to give great advice on what to do , , overall being able to lead surprisingly well when they allow themselves to
theyd also be able to break things without meaning to , , id say theyd be clumsily powerful in the beginning , , then later on making it more intentional as they realize all the power they have
overall thoughts :
they would be a great member in any session , , as tends to happen with pages !! just be patient and dont lose hope , , , , id even go to saying that this classpect is powerful in a way so magnificent it is hard to properly understand , , mainly due to how unexplored the doom aspect is in canon , ,

i have more
witch of blood (derse+prospit)
prince of rage (prospit)
thief of doom (derse)
lord of heart (prospit)
shortly they are alpha version of others, they are tighter and godtier in the same list, from top to bottom where top first.
godtier analysis and session analysis (maybe? please? i hope i dont worry you too much or overwhelm you. i apologize for doing both of those things and if your uncomfortable just tell me)

yes!!! okay, so
a witch of blood manipulated obligations and relationships. they would be a VERY interesting team leader. could be quite manipulative.... when i think of witch of blood, i kind of think of makima from chainsaw man.
Prince of Rage is VERY interesting to think about. I'd say they lean heavily towards toxic positivity, since they destroy rage and chaos while ghosting hope.
Thief of Doom is going to a matyr. They're gonna be aaaaall doom and gloom. Tries to shoulder on all the team difficulties. You think YOUR problem is bad? Well theirs is worse!!
Lord of Heart is going to be CRAZY. They ARE emotion. They ARE impulses. They have nothing that holds rhem back. Definitely might be a problem child of the group.

Y’know, with Homestuck denizens and all, I keep seeing people attempt to tie them to a specific aspect, and with some denizens it might make sense for them to be tied to a specific aspect.
But from my perspective, I personally believe that yes, denizens can be tied to certain aspects, but at the end of the day, it really depends on the player.
Take Yaldabaoth for example. It’s said that Yaldabaoth is designated specifically for gifted warriors, and has been the denizen of both Caliborn and Dirk, which shows that Yaldabaoth isn’t tied to any specific aspect.
In summary, I think Sburb chooses your denizen depending on which of the denizens would be best suited for you, and not depending on your aspect. Some of them can be more common for people with certain aspects, but it still likely depends on the player rather than the class or aspect.

What’s Godzilla’s classpect?
Hello request from July 20th, 2020. Hope I didn't keep you waiting!
Godzilla
Godzilla has a long running history and has changed a lot as it has passed between the hands of different writers. To be most consistent I think I will specify that I'm talking about Godzilla as he was in the original conception: Godzilla (1954)
Tumblr media
So a quick recap, the original incarnation of Godzilla was a big monster at the bottom of the ocean, whose slumber was disturbed by the nuclear bombs dropped on Japan in WW2. The whole radioactive part of the monster is just a side effect of the bombs in the first place. He was something of a manifestation/personification of the fear of nuclear weapons.
So with that out of the way, what is he? Well how about.....
Muse Of Doom
One who is dominated by [Doom]
That's right bitches, I actually am using Muse despite the many previous bashing. Basically, I think I've finally settled on a definition- For both Lord and Muse, really. A quick tangent that I can expand upon later if anyone is curious; maybe I'll just update that part of the FAQ.
Lord: One who dominates [Aspect]
Muse: One who is dominated by [Aspect]
Caliborn/Lord English dominates every timeline, removing every other influence other than himself including even ghosts.
Space players are duty bound with the creation of the new universe typically, but Calliope doesn't get that opportunity. Calliope-Prime makes space in the body for Caliborn in every timeline (save for one), dying in the process. The one that doesn't happens to be in a doomed timeline and literally just sits there and waits, her sole purpose being bringing the end of Lord English and preserving existence.
Back to Godzilla.
Tumblr media
Godzilla is, well, not human. Pretty obvious but I'm just making sure we're all on the same page. He doesn't have some grand motivation or really even a concrete goal. He's an animal. He was sleeping at the bottom of the ocean. He got disturbed by the nuke and doused in radiation. So far, I don't think we can really call him anything other than a victim. Even when he starts to rampage I don't think we can really classify him as a villain.
He's a lizard. If you hit an alligator bit you after you hit it in the head with a hammer a villain? No. It's a fucking lizard. To really analyze this we have to focus largely on what it represents: Fear of nuclear devastation and the trauma associated with being nuked. Doom as an aspect represents death, endings, failure, cycles, and acceptance. And the whole concept of Godzilla was really just a way for the Japanese people at the time to process their trauma.
I think that's mostly it for this one. Hope you enjoyed!

I’ve been getting into homestuck recently and stumbled across classpects as a concept awhile ago. I got curious and went to see if any Wildbow protagonists had been given classpects in crossover speculation. I was only able to find any for Taylor, probably because fans of both like to compare her to Vriska from what I’ve seen, with arguments for Taylor being a Page of Rage, Witch of Doom, or Bard of Heart.
I’d like to go over each protagonist personally, but it’s been too long since I read Worm, Ward, or Pact and reading those I was still all in on how the narrator sees things and bad at reading into the narration instead of just reading it, so those 3 all kind of blend together in my head too much for me to try them. I might do Sy, but I haven’t thought him much yet for it.
What I want to do right now is give classpects to Verona, Lucy, and Avery, based on my understanding of the classes and aspects I’ve been able to pick up.
Verona I would say is probably a Mage of Heart. Her arc has been more less about getting her to find a good place for her Self. She couldn’t really be herself with Brett always being nearby ready to whine to her about some bullshit or another, treating her as daughter and wife at the same time despite her age, and never appreciating any of the work she actually did until she just stopped doing it all together. Now she has her demesne that allows her to have her own home as she wants it, it’s become a hangout spot for all her closest friends, and she doesn’t have to worry about invaders doing any sort of harm to her, emotionally like Brett or even physically in most cases. Not to mention she can also easily interpret and communicate with nonverbal Others like Tashlit. But that’s just why I see her as Heart. For Mage it was more or less just that loves learning about her interests so much. She’s turning her demesne into a bookstore for books that were never written, she’s easily the most well-rounded in terms of understanding practices of the 3 Kennet Witches, and she’s even experimented with different things both mundane and magical to see how she likes them, such as that friends with benefits relationship she had with Jeremy for awhile or trying out Hosting, alchemy, enchantment, among other practices. I had also considered Void for Verona on account of how easy it is for her to play around with the truth without lying outright to confuse people, but ultimately her arc is more about getting from where she hated her life and circumstances so much she wanted to give up her humanity and become virtually anything else to getting where she’s perfectly comfortable being herself and flourishing under her own power, which to me reads with the idea that Heart is about the Inner Self.
Avery was probably the easiest of the trio. Maid of Blood. It’s my understanding that Blood is supposed to be about relationships and connections, and Avery has become something of an embodiment of networking with how many friends and contacts she’s built up over the course of Pale, and that’s all starting from a point where she could go months at a time without anybody noticing she hadn’t said a thing because of how disconnected she was. My understanding of a Maid is someone that takes care of, creates, and maintains their aspect, and boy howdy if Avery doesn’t do that. She literally goes to the edges of reality itself via the Paths to find contacts who’d otherwise be unable to contact anyone in a meaningful way in the form of Lost, who would all otherwise be to conceptually close to the ideas associated with Breath to get anywhere in their continued existences. Avery’s also the one of the trio most likely to allow an antagonist to redeem themself for similar reasons.
Lucy was the hardest one for me to get. I’d definitely peg her as a Knight, but I can’t decide if she fits better as a Knight of Hope or a Knight of Rage. I could see her as Hope because Hope players are described as “driven first and foremost by their convictions. They do right for right's sake, and are quick to come to the aid of anyone they deem to be experiencing injustice.” That sounds extremely Lucy, but Hope as a concept also seems to be connected to the use of positive emotions to empower and accomplish where as Lucy is not someone I would describe as being emotionally positive. She is almost always on guard in some way or another, always prepared to be ‘bullet-proof’ in as many ways as possible because she’s anticipating some asshole coming up and challenging her on some arbitrary thing. Even her Sight allows her to see specifically negative emotions and pain in the form of watercolor-esc stains. This is where interpreting her as less Hopey and more Ragey comes in. She’s very tired of the way the world is. She fights tooth and nail in arguments, in magic, in duels, and in Law to gain just a bit of ground even if it isn’t as much ground as she had wanted. Training under Guilherme and Bubbleyum does seem to have taught her to be coolheaded enough not to suppress her anger but to channel it for all those sorts of fights I mentioned. Rage at the injustices of the world and especially those right in front of her that she can do something about, is what fuels her. As for why I’d put her as a Knight, that’s because Knight is the closest to how she normally operates. She doesn’t seek the knowledge the way a Mage or Seer does, she doesn’t really fit homestuck’s idea of an Heir or (ironically) Witch, she doesn’t generate or heal like a Maid or Sylph, and she isn’t destructive of any aspect like a Prince or Bard, she isn’t taking to deprive from others like a Thief or Rogue, and she certainly isn’t as selfish as she could be with her defense of what she cares about like a Page. The idea that she serves Hope for the future or exploits her own Rage or whatever it is Knights are supposed to one-worded to, Knight fits the best of the classes.
Bonus bit, going purely based off vibes I’d say Verona and Lucy are both derse dreamers while Avery would be prospit.
I’d like to do the other protagonists too but like I mentioned above it’s been too long since I read Worm, Pact, or Ward for me to do Taylor, Blake, or Victoria. I still can and might do Sy, I only recently finished Twig so he’s still fresh enough on my mind I think I could, just not now. In the meantime I’d like seeing some other people try at any or all of them. Get some speculation going for wildbow protags other than Taylor.

Okay I *think* I've begun figuring out the classpects for the Homestuck/Undertale AU?
Chara is definitely a Time player, and I'm leaning towards Heir of Time? Time is associated with death and decay, so they definitely are surrounded or consumed by their Aspect (being dead and forced to wait for their failed session to decay before being able to act and exploit (another Time trait) the rules of SBURB by acting as the Time player for the post-Scratch session), and the official description of Time-bound players having lives "often marked by struggle, not so much because fate has it in for them, but because they are fundamentally incapable of just accepting things as they come" and being "ruthless, defensive and impulsive" at their worst is,, accurate
Asriel/Flowey I can see as a Space player pretty well - they have a connection with life (particularly plants) and the colour green, and are described as "patient, masters of the art of 'wait-and-see', and are inclined to take things as they come". I have no clue what his class is though - as much as I'd love to have him be a Prince of Space (to tie into his royal heritage) I can't really make a case for him "destroying Space or destroying through Space" lmao
I'm gonna be honest Frisk as a Heart player is probably my weakest connection here - I needed a Heart player to help reset Flowey, though I was very tempted to also have Frisk be a Time player to continue the parallel between Frisk and Chara (and by extension their sessions and relationships with Flowey) Doesnt mean it isn't entirely inaccurate though - Heart is associated with the concept of self, feelings, emotions and intuitions, as well as potentially the motivation to do things which I feel fits pretty well with Pacifist!Frisk and the concept of Determination as a whole. Also Heart can also be considered 'Soul' and is associated with the colour red so it still fits i think. Still no clue what their class would be though

Could you analyze page of life? Thank you and have a good day!
Haha, sorry for the long wait, life happened (haha, life). Uhm. Yeah I usually think up some sort of intro to the posts but now I’m just coming up blank, so, let’s just get to it?
Anyways, what do we know about the Page class, to begin with?
Pages are a class centered around self-growth. A lot of sburb/sgrub is based on allowing the players to grow more as people, but Pages have a lot to achieve in the span of the game, and as such we barely see a glimpse of what a fully realized Page can do in the source material at all, except that they are considered one of the most powerful classes out there.
Pages generally adapt traits of their Aspect into their personality, and grow more into themselves as they do so. There’s a lot of work in being a Page, and not everyone is built for it, because you need the ability to learn to look at yourself in a non-judgemental way and think of ways to improve yourself that are feasible and not just “I want to be better”. And that’s hard to do.
As Pages need to learn more about themselves and their aspect (and sometimes just the world at large), they’re very receptive to new ideas and concepts, and can have very flexible mindsets when it comes to certain things (and yet, unfortunately, usually not themselves). Pages can be very earnest and genuine people, which can lead them to accidentally learn things harmful to both themselves and the people around them, and they have to work very hard to unlearn such things on their journey.
So Pages need to learn to embrace their aspect in order to become the best versions of themselves they can be. What about the aspect, then?
Life is… an interesting aspect, in that all the Life players we meet in homestuck are members of the Peixes family. So all Life players are very confident in themselves, at least by the time we meet them at first. And also Life as an aspect tends to push people towards leadership positions? Like, Meenah didn’t particularly want to be an important princess and ran away over that. Feferi wants to take over Alternia and make the world a better place. And Jane is also a princess kinda. Idk Jane gives me a headache in terms of what exactly she’s considered an heir of. Too many timeline intersections to decide whether her being the heir to the crocker brand (or. whatever?) has any impact on how much power she actually holds. I’m so confused about that.
Anyways. Life players like to be in charge. They know their plans and listen to their teammates. A good Life player is someone to look up to and trust with ideas and plans, and a formidable enemy should you be the opponent instead of an ally. They might not be as heartfelt as Heart players or as creative as Space players, but a Life player on your side is pretty much always a good thing? Unless they’re a thief or a destroyer class, in which case. Maybe not so much.
Life players are usually very headstrong about stuff; they know a lot about the way the universe works, not in the way space and time players do, but simply in the way where they understand how some things can have some outcomes and sometimes refuse to hear otherwise, especially if it doesn’t fit with what they already decided upon.
So, with all that (very little rambling) in mind, what would a Page of Life be like?
There’s a lot to consider in this combination, which makes it feel very volatile. I think this is a classpect where lunar sway has a lot more importance than, say, a Sylph’s or a Heart player’s situation.
A Page of Life is someone who is both very confident in their choices, while also constantly doubting their positions as leaders. But it’s not like they can just choose to relegate, because nobody else would volunteer to pick up the role otherwise. In a session where someone else has more charm or energy for leadership, the Page might simply sit tight and watch the other leader learn nothing from their mistakes, but nobody would want them as the leader, not even them. They might grow in that quiet corner enough to stand up and say enough is enough and take charge anyways, but you can never be certain.
A Page of Life can also go the exact opposite direction, and be a person who really wants to lead but has no idea how. In which case they can simply lean away every time they make a mistake. This Page would need to learn that some times you fuck up, and that’s ok, but you should learn from it and admit you’re not perfect before your team gets sick of your blaming everyone else’s plans. Listen to the other members of your group, let them voice ideas, and don’t be hasty when pointing fingers.
Either way, a Page of Life needs to learn to learn from their mistakes. That’s how people grow, even if facing your fuck ups is usually the most mortifying thing to do. The Page won’t let go of their leadership position once they have it, even if they don’t like being a leader, because nobody else would step up, or at least nobody they would trust with these people.
I think a Drospit dreaming Page of Life would be too headstrong and would need to learn to listen to others on their team, learn to let go and also understand that pointing fingers won’t help anyone. They need to learn to be proud of their position on the team, even if they make mistakes, because then the others will see you as dependable and confident, which you absolutely can be.
Alternatively, a Derse dreaming Page would lean too far into “what-if”s, would focus on all that they haven’t done rather than what they did, and there would be their downfall. Focus on the future, learn from the past, and do your best to remember that the present is still the future’s past and you can always learn more, about your team and your goal and yourself.
A grown Page of Life can be a really good leader, someone who the group trusts and depends on and comes to with ideas and problems because they know you can solve it. Don’t let the past’s mistakes take your future away from you.
Anyways, sorry for the long wait (and also sorry to everyone else sending asks and getting ignored, I promise I’m working on it. Just. Very slowly) and also sorry this is not at all edited whatsoever, I don’t have energy to make sure I don’t repeat myself too often. Just. I hope this is coherent enough for you to learn something? Maybe? Or just to have fun, if that’s what you’re looking for…
