Twilight
“In hindsight, I probably should have known what it meant,” Alex groans, bringing both hands up to cover her face. “I made sure that I only hung up the posters that had Kristen Stewart on them.”
Kara remembers all those posters, the too pale boys possessively flanking the movies’ main female character. She’d always wondered why Alex was so into the Twilight series; they were all just…so bad. Now it made more sense.
“Aw, babe,” Kelly teases, “let me know if you want me to reenact any of your teenage dreams about biting. I’m game.”
Alex groans again, but this time it’s accompanied by a bright blush.
Laughter fills the room. They’ve been sharing stories about their first significant celebrity crushes for the last few minutes, the board game temporarily abandoned in front of them.
Kara has learned that Nia had a thing for Keanu Reeves after watching that bomb on a bus movie one too many times, but that she also “wouldn’t have kicked Sandra Bullock off her bed”, as she put it.
Brainy mentioned that he went through a rather intense phase of trying to learn more about Earth culture, specifically American pop culture, and that he got stuck on the OG Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter, for a while. Not a bad choice, Kara thinks while Nia jokes that she’d be more than happy to tie him up with a lasso.
Kelly then rattles off a few actors that Kara thinks were on the L Word, with a particular emphasis on Jennifer Beals. Kara half expects Alex to make a joke about Flashdance, but instead, Alex simply leans into Kelly and presses a soft kiss to her cheek.
When they get to Kara, she has to disappoint.
“I don’t think I have anything to offer here. Not really.”
Alex hums. “The posters on your walls were all images from the Hubble telescope. I mean, I know you liked NSYNC for their music, but I don’t think you ever swooned over any of them. Not really. There was definitely a mental love affair with Lilo and Stitch, though.”
When Alex mentions the Hubble images, Kara feels a cool pale hand slip into hers to give it a short squeeze. It’s brief, a quick show of support, but it means everything to Kara. She turns to Lena and smiles gratefully. At the same time, the attention of the rest of their friend group shifts to Lena as well.
But Lena just shrugs. “I definitely wasn’t allowed to hang up any posters in the Luthor mansion.”
“Yeah, but what about boarding school? Come on, Luthor,” Alex probes, “you can’t tell me there wasn’t a ton of celebrity gossip going around at an all-girls school.”
“Oh there was gossip alright. I can’t say I ever really knew what it was about, though. I didn’t really watch movies or TV growing up, so most of the names the girls were talking about meant nothing to me.”
This time, it’s Kara who squeezes Lena’s hand. She knows that Lena doesn’t like to talk about what growing up was like for her. She doesn’t like the pitying looks, or the constant assumptions that just because her family was rich, Lena must have had everything she ever wanted. But before the mood in the room turns too gloomy, Lena sits up a little, a small smirk on her face.
“So maybe I was a bit of a late bloomer that way. I would say I had my first real celebrity crush in my early 20s.”
That gets everyone’s attention.
“Oh really? Who was it?” Nia asks gleefully.
“Well, I was still in Metropolis at the time. But I had watched them on TV, followed their budding celebrity status.”
Lena pauses for a moment before she turns to face Kara more fully.
“And then I gave Jack Spheer an impassioned speech about why I had to move to National City, about how important it was to me to be the Luthor living in the same city as Supergirl. I believe I even said I wanted to share my home with her.”
There’s a stunned silence in the room for a few seconds before Alex barks out a laugh.
“Really? Your celebrity crush was Supergirl?”
And Kara considers if she should intervene, tell Alex to lay off on the heavy teasing she knows is going to happen now, but Lena is looking at her and she’s still smiling, calm and confident, and Kara simply smiles right back.
Lena chuckles, her eyes never leaving Kara’s. “Of course it was. I mean, have you seen that skintight suit and very, very short skirt she was in at the time?”
“Ugh,” Alex huffs, “I didn’t need to hear that. That’s my sister you’re talking about.”
Lena shrugs again. “You asked, I answered.”
And then she leans in and kisses Kara and Kara makes a mental note to figure out how to send a message to Winn into the future to thank him for his incredibly “male gaze” costume design for her first Supersuit.
(She does very much prefer the pants these days, though.)

“you bring out the best of me”
Warnings: none as usual, just floofy fluff
Summary: Chris finally wins the Oscar he has always deserved and he dedicates his win to you and mentions you in his acceptance speech
Word Count: 1.5k
Pairing: Chris Evans x Reader
⭐︎ ashleigh’s masterlist ⭐︎ | ☾ ashleigh’s taglist ☽
*:·゚✧*:·゚✧
Chris was nervous, there was no doubt about it as you watched him button up his crisp white shirt in the mirror, his hands trembled lightly as they reaches for the next button. It wasn’t uncommon for him to be nervous on award show nights, but tonight was more intense than every. It was the Oscar’s and Chris was nominated for the first time, and he was a favourite to win for his role in the latest drama he was the male lead in. His anxiety had been building over the last couple of weeks on the build up of tonight and you had tried your best to help calm him, but you could clearly see how it was affecting him as he was getting ready in the hotel room you had for the night.
You carefully stand up from the chair you was sat on, making sure that you didn’t stand on the elegant dress you was wearing, walking over to your nervous wreck of a boyfriend. You rest your hand on his shoulder lightly, not wanting to scare him as it was clear that he didn’t notice you approach him, the thoughts in his head overpowering everything else. He looks at you and tries to smile at you, tight on his lips, you smile back gently. You have never seen him this nervous before and it struck at your heart because he was sweetest man you have ever met and he didn’t deserve to feel like this.
“You are going to be fine, I will be there right beside you the entire evening…” You say, finishing with the buttons on Chris’ shirt and helping with tucking it into his black slacks and then with his bow tie. Once you have finished you straighten the collar of his shirt and press a kiss to his cheek.
“There we go…” You step back lightly, looking Chris up and down slowly, smiling to yourself before looking at him. “If you aren’t the sexiest man in the world, then pigs can fly…” You say, earning a laugh from Chris for the first time since you had both started getting ready for the award ceremony.
*:·゚✧*:·゚✧
The red carpet went better than you imagined, Chris kept you close the entire time. Either an arm round your waist, hand on the small of your back or hand-in-hand. Like he was scared you were going to go back against what you told him in the hotel room while you were getting ready. Now you were sat in your seats, your hand resting against Chris’ thigh as he spoke to James Corden who was sat to his left about their plans for the next year or so. You were just taking in the occasion, smiling to yourself when the light hit your engagement ring just right for it to glimmer and catch your eye. In the plans that Chris was talking about was your upcoming wedding, or as the press was calling it ‘The Wedding of the Year.’
You were brought out of your little daydream when Chris’ hand came to wrap round yours gently, covering your ring lightly. You smile up at him softly and raises your eyebrows as he smiles back at you, leaning over and kissing your cheek softly. You lean into the touch, a small flush coming to your cheeks. 10 years together and you still acted like you have only been together for a few months, this is the affect he had on you and you never wanted this feeling to stop. You were completely in love with this man and you knew you both would do anything to keep each other happy.
“You okay?” He asks, looking at you, a smile touching at his lips. Far from the anxiety riddled Chris that you had in the hotel room, you smile and nods, squeezing his fingers with yours to let him know you are happy.
“Yeah, just taking everything in…” You chuckle before leaning into Chris, striking up your own conversation with him till the ceremony started.
*:·゚✧*:·゚✧
As the ceremony went on, you could feel the nerves radiate off of Chris as his category came closer. You reach over and rest your hand on his knee, smiling at him lightly when he eventually catches your eye with his. He sighs a little, smiling nervously before taking your hand in his, bringing it up to his lips for press a kiss to your knuckles.
You look over to the stage when Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Lawrence are announced to present the Best Actor award. You smile lightly at Chris and squeeze his hand gently, keeping a hold of it so he has a grounding point over the next couple of minutes. Whether he won or lost you knew you would be exceptionally proud of him and what he has achieved.
“Wow, tonight has been fantastic, with some worthy winners…” Sandra says as Jennifer smiles and nods along with her.
“And we have 6 outstanding actors lined up for this next award, Best Male” Jennifer says into the microphone on the podium before introducing the nominees. “The nominees for Best Male Actor are, Joaquin Phoenix for Joker, Antonio Banderas for Pain and Glory, Chris Evans for Life of the Party, Leonardo DiCaprio for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Adam Driver for Marriage Story and Johnathon Pryce for The Two Popes.”
“And the winner is…” Sandra says as she starts to open the envelope, looking down and reading the winner before looking to the crowd and leaning to the microphone. “Chris Evans for Life of the Party.”
Cheers erupt around you and Chris as you look at each other happily, pride emanating off you as you kiss him briefly, standing up to hug him as James Corden claps him on the back in congratulations. You are sure you hear Robert Downey Jr. a few rows back shout “Go on Capsicle!” But it is drowned out by the cheers and clapping for your fiancé.
There was now a permanent smile on your face as you watched Chris walk up the steps of the stage to accept his well deserved Oscar trophy. All his handwork had paid off and you could not be more proud of him.
The clapping finally died down as he stood at the podium to give his acceptance speech, after receiving the award from Jennifer and hugging both her and Sandra, he nervously chuckled before catching your eye in the crowd. You smile at him and give him an encouraging thumbs up, tearing up a little at the sight of him accepting the most prestigious award of his life.
“Wow…I can’t believe this…thank you…” He starts off, still in utter shock that he has won and that he is holding an Oscar that will have his name engraved on it by the end of the night. “I’d just like to thank everyone on the production of Life of the Party, especially Rian Johnson our director, this wouldn’t be happening right now if it wasn’t for you and your brilliant job at directing. Also, my parents and siblings, they have been so supportive throughout my entire career and I would never have started acting if you didn’t give me the courage to do so.” He takes a deep breath before he turns slightly in your direction and smiles softly, like he is now only talking to you, ignoring the hundreds of people in the theatre and the TV cameras that are broadcasting the ceremony live across the world. “And finally I would like to give the biggest thanks to my wife-to-be, my soulmate and my everything. She’s been with me ever since before I was casted as Captain America, Steve Rogers as you will, and she has been my rock ever since. I couldn’t have done this without you, and sometimes I am shocked at how you handle everything that comes with myself and this life. I know it is crazy and overwhelming at times but I love you and in everything I do, you bring out the best of me, I love you so much darling. This award is for you.”
You couldn’t help the tears fall down your cheeks as Chris spoke about you, in front of millions of people watching in the theatre but also at home. He never shied away from declaring his love for you or showing the world how in love he was with you. When he finally arrived back to his seat during the next, and final, ad break you hug him ever so tightly, even more in love with him than you were moments ago before he won the award if that was possible. You were extremely excited to marry and spend the rest of your life with Chris, and hopefully the news in the form of a small baby onesie sporting the “My Daddy is an Oscar Winner” on the front that you had printed for tonight, not that you knew he definitely would win, would seal both your happiness for years to come as you gave it to him the next morning after spending the night celebrating with each other in the hotel room you started the evening in getting ready than out at the Vanity Fair Party.

Cannes Film Festival 2019
Set amongst the stunning backdrop of the South of France, the 72nd Cannes Film Festival was hosted over eleven long and lavish days in the month of May.
Exclusive actors, socialites and models alike gathered daily for an array of premieres showcasing unreleased movies. Join me as I review the most memorable looks that graced the red carpet over the course of the festival...
1. Camila Morrone in Custom Miu Miu
Showcasing timeless elegance, the actress and model opted for an ethereal look to support her beau Leonardo DiCaprio at the premiere of his new film. The simply stunning chiffon gown boasted a train embellished by marabù detail and its strapless design allowed for the dazzling display of her diamond Bulgari choker. Her hair was swept back into a ballerina bun for the evening and her makeup consisted of soft peachy hues to complete her delicate appeal.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood premiere on May 21. styled by Micah Schifman, makeup by Ash Kholm, hair by Jennifer Yepez, jewellery by Bulgari.
2. Madison Headrick in Ashi Studio Couture
Old school Hollywood glamour with a modern twist, the model donned a dramatic fuchsia creation for her first attendance at the festival. The asymmetric design boasted a puffed sleeve one shoulder design and full skirt with a side train for additional drama. Her hair was tightly slicked back and her makeup look barely there, allowing her eye-catching diamond earrings to frame her face.
La Belle Epoque premiere May 20. styled by Sandra Amador, jewellery by Pomellato.
3. Priyanka Chopra in Georges Hobeika
The actress and newlywed wore a breathtaking white tulle dress that had been designed as a bridal gown but became a red carpet look for the occasion. The pluming tulle detail on her strapless design and sweptback ponytail accentuated her incredible diamond Chopard choker and earring set. Her makeup included a smoked out brown eye and nude lip, which complemented her dark features.
Les Plus Belles Annees D’une Vie premiere on May 22. styled by Mimi Cuttrell, makeup by Pati Dubroff, hair by Danielle Priano, jewellery by Chopard.
4. Jasmine Tookes in Zuhair Murad Couture
The Victoria’s Secret Angel looked regal in her sky blue dress embossed with sequins and crystals. The plunging neckline added a sultry twist to the classic structure of the design. Adding to her elegant appeal, her raven locks were swept back in an updo with symmetrical tousled waves framing her face. Impressively doing her own makeup for the occasion, her radiant complexion included a brown smokey eye, peachy cheeks and a nude lip.
The Traitor premiere on May 23. styled by Cary Robinson, makeup by Jasmine Tookes, hair by Glen Coco, jewellery by de Grisogono.
5. Elsa Hosk in Custom Alberta Ferreti
Becoming renowned for her enviable style, the Victoria’s Secret Angel floated along the red carpet in a violet strapless high-low gown that cascaded with feathers. Her hair was swept back and décolletage left bare to enhance her mesmerising aesthetic. Her beauty look focused on a dewy complexion, with champagne eyes and a raspberry red lip to add a pop of colour and dimension to the look.
Sibyl premiere May 24. styled by Elizabeth Sulcer, makeup by Nikki Makeup, hair by Beniot Moeyaert, jewellery by Nigora Tabayer.
6. Neelam Gill in Nicole + Felicia Couture
The model wore a two-piece set that offered a contemporary take on a red carpet look. The silk bandeau top and its matching skirt was designed with two panels to make a full skirt effect, which then cascaded behind her into the most stunning train, offering a bridal appeal. Her dark locks were swept back for the occasion into a detailed updo whilst glowing décolletage accentuated her bejewelled fan earrings. The beauty look offered a flawless base, fluttery lashes and a muted rose pink lip, which completed her elegant aesthetic.
La Belle Epoque premiere May 20. styled by Calvin Opaleye, makeup by Maria Asadi, hair by Virginie Carmen, jewellery by de Grisogono.
7. Alina Baikova in Zuhair Murad Couture
Making a statement on the red carpet in an abundance of tulle, the model opted for a high-low ombre dress in shades of sea blue. Complementing her sun-kissed blonde tresses that were swept back into a striking ponytail for the evening, the look offered a sultry appeal. Her makeup included rosey hues around her eyes, cheeks and lips and most notably her radiant and dewy glow, which highlighted her oval drop diamond earrings.
A Hidden Life premiere May 19. styled by Amarsana Gendunova, makeup and hair by Anastasiia Grinyuka, jewellery by de Grisogono.
8. Alessandra Ambrosio in Ralph & Russo Couture
The retired Victoria’s Secret Angel showed she still can look heavenly after gracing the red carpet wearing a white silk chiffon draped gown with an asymmetric neckline and thigh high slit, embellished with crystals, sequins and devoré ostrich feathers. Complementing the elegant movement of the dress, her brunette locks were left loose to fall behind her in a half up half down hairstyle and showcased her dazzling drop earrings. Her beauty look included a boldly lined eye, bronzed cheeks and baby pink gloss on the lips.
The Dead Don’t Die premiere on May 14. styled by Inge Fonteyne, makeup by Patrick Ta, hair by Beniot Moeyaert, jewellery by Boucheron.
9. Lorena Rae in Rami Kadi Couture
Nothing exudes red carpet glamour like a bright fuchsia dress with a sequin body and floor sweeping overskirt. The gown’s unique silhouette appeared to combine two dresses into one; offering a sequinned fitted mini dress that had been adorned in ruffles of silk taffeta to make it a one-sleeved design with a mesmerising train. The model’s dark blonde tresses were waved to one side complementing her asymmetric dress and revealing her sparkling diamond drop earring. Her beauty look included a deep pink smokey eye, bold highlight and muted pink lip.
Oh Mercy! premiere on 22 May. styled by Danni Stylist, jewellery by Messika.
10. Sara Sampaio in Georges Hobeika Couture
The Victoria’s Secret Angel’s heavily lined eyes and vintage Boucheron earrings and necklace set were reminiscent of a tribal aesthetic. The statement salmon voluminous tulle gown complemented her olive complexion and dark locks, which were kept behind her ears and loosely curled for the occasion. Her bold beauty look married together her captivating aesthetic.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood premiere on May 21. styled by Mimi Cuttrell, makeup by Ismael Blanco, hair by Vasco Freitas, jewellery by Boucheron.
This concludes my top 10 best dressed from the Cannes Film Festival 2019. Let the next red carpet occasion commence...

Celebrity Crush
(After my first movie was out, I was deemed a decent actress by my peers, and the scripts were flowing in. I got the call that Ellen wanted me to come on her show. So, of course I said yes. This is what happened.)
“Well, hello, Emma.” Ellen said.
“Well, hello Ellen.” I said back.
“So, your new movie was a huge success. Now, the public wants to know more about you. So, I have a few questions, ready?” She said, tapping her cards on her arm rest.
“Absolutely. Hit me with your best shot.” I smiled. I glanced out at the audience, my mother, and my two best friends, Sam and Lily, were sitting nearby. Lily had a mischievous grin on her face.
“Ok, why acting?” Ellen asked.
“I have always loved the movies, and my mom can attest to this, I have always had a talent for drama.” I said laughing, everyone followed with laughter.
“Me too.” Ellen commented, “Ok, next one, who is your favorite actor or actress?” she asked.
“Oh, good one. I actually have to categorize them, otherwise the list would never end.” I replied.
“Ok, so let’s start with actresses…who?” she quickly replied.
“I really love Kate Winslet, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Thompson, Emma Watson, Anne Hathaway and Sandra Bullock. Those are my top ladies. For men, well, Jared Leto, Karl Urban, Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, Hugh Jackman, Orlando Bloom, and Tom Felton are my top men. Any of those actors or actresses would get me into the theater.” I said.
“I love Jared, he is such a nice guy. Have you met him yet?” she asked.
“I haven’t. I haven’t met a lot of my favorites, I think, actually, the only two I have met are Karl and Colin.” I chuckled.
“Ok new genre for questions, who is your favorite bands or what style do you listen to?” Ellen asked.
“Well, I listen to just about everything, Thirty seconds to mars is my favorite. I actually have tattoos for that band.” I said, but before I could continue Ellen cut me off saying, “is that were you first heard of Jared Leto?”
“Actually no, my mom and I watched, Panic Room. Then I saw Highway, then Switchback, Suicide Squad, Requiem for a Dream, and then Alexander. As, I said earlier, now if a movie came out with him in it, I was at the theater.” I could feel the blush in my cheeks.
“Ok we are going to take a quick break.” Ellen announced.
“I’m so glad you came on the show, it’s been very nice to meet you. Who did you bring with you?” Ellen asked. I pointed out my mom, Sam, and Lily. Ellen pointed at Lily and said, “hey, you helped me out with a couple things earlier.” Before I could ask, we were back on.
“Well, I have a game, we could play if you want. It’s Never have I Ever.” Ellen said.
“You gonna play with me Ellen? That game is always better with more people.” I remarked.
“yes, but I also have a special guest here, who is also going to play along with us. He’s on your list too. Please welcome Jared Leto!” Ellen said, getting louder.
OMG!!!!!!! I looked over at Lily, she had a shit-eating grin on her face. You are so dead. Now I know why you wanted me to wear this dress. My dress was black, with a scooped back, long sleeves, and reached about an inch above my knees. It was my favorite dress, I always felt like a million bucks in this dress. Not to mention the 3 inch heels I had on. I felt great.
“oh Jeez…. Ellen!” I exclaimed. As I turned, there he was in all his glory.
Jared came around the end of the couch, gave Ellen a hug and a kiss on her cheek. Then he faced me, “It’s so nice to meet you! Colin wouldn’t stop talking about you.” He said, giving me a hug, and quick peck to my cheek.
I moved so he could reach Ellen, so he was sitting closer to her. After we all were seated, Ellen said, “Now, Jared, you know how to play this game.”
“That I do, but I got into a little trouble the last time.” He said smiling.
“Well I don’t make the questions. I just ask them.” Ellen said, handing us our signs.
“Well, hopefully, Emma and I can stay out of trouble.” Jared said as he repositioned himself a little closer to me.
I heard someone cough. Lily I will kill you.
“Ok first one, ‘Never have I ever met my celebrity crush’ that’s a good one.” Ellen said, holding up her ‘I have’ sign.
I chuckled, and gave a look to Lily and Sam. I too, held up my ‘I have’ sign. Jared did as well.
“Emma, who is yours?” Ellen inquired.
“That wasn’t the question, Ellen.” I said laughing. She gave me a knowing look, Jared was looking at his lap, when Ellen motioned to the audience with her sign, and mouthed, ‘It’s him.’
The audience chuckled.
I looked over at Lily, she was dying. Seriously, you are so dead!
“See, now you’ve got me curious.” Jared said.
“No, I’m not telling.” I replied smiling at him.
“Ok next question, ‘Never have I ever kissed my celebrity crush.’ I’m sensing a pattern here.” Ellen said.
“You noticed that too?” Jared said. “How about you, Emma, you notice something here.”
“Yeah, I have a feeling I know, who we have to thank for this.” I said as I stared at Lily and Sam.
I could feel the blush up my neck, into my cheeks.
“Well, let me help you answer some of these.” Jared said. I turned to look at him.
Before I knew what was happening, he had slid to my end of the couch, and had wrapped his hands around my neck and was kissing me.
I knew the audience was going crazy, but I couldn’t hear them. He broke the kiss and whispered, “There now we both have kissed a celebrity crush.”

A rough design of Sandy for my SpongeBob Musical Depression Era AU.
Ref: [x]
(I know this fashion is actually from the 40′s but I like the style so much, excuse my historical inaccuracy)
I’ll prolly post the rest of the designs reaallly slowly.
So I’ve been meaning to do this for quite some time now, but what usually happens with all my ideas, I’m too lazy to actually do them, and so they never get beyond the basic concept. But I’m eager to post these designs and my ideas. A long time ago, I watched this 1930’s movie on TCM called Ladies They Talk About, a pre-code era film about a female bank robber who is sent to a women’s correction facility. After I watched the film, I had a dream that same night about The SpongeBob Musical, but instead of an environmental disaster, the stock market crashes, prompting SpongeBob and his gang (consisting of Sandy and Patrick) to rob banks instead of saving their town. So...’’Public Enemy No. 1 is my Middle Name’’?
Read below for more details.
I actually lost the notes I wrote about it, so I don’t remember all the details (after the school semester I clean off all the papers on my desk so I might’ve accidentally recycled it or misplaced it). If I ever find it, I’ll update the details. But from what I remember:
· SpongeBob as Bob ‘’The Barber’’ Pretty Pants: He’s the son of Jewish immigrants who own a sewing business (hence the surname). Due to how poor his family is, he has to drop out of school to work at a diner as a waiter. After the Wall Street Crash of 1929, he gives up his job for a life of crime. In order to dissuade the law, he dyes his natural red hair a platinum blonde (hence the FBI’s nickname for him: Bob ‘’The Barber’’ Pretty Pants). He’s the Most Wanted leader of the Bubble Buddies Gang.
· Patrick as Patrick ‘’Smiley’’ Star: He’s born into an impoverished farming family in Texas, and aspires to become a Big Band Swing Era musician, but he doesn’t have the money for new instruments, so he joins Bob the Barber and his gang to rob banks and buy himself a new trombone. The FBI’s nickname for him is ‘’Smiley’’, because ‘’he gives the hellest smile when he’s pissed’’.
· Sandy as Sandra Jennifer ‘’Blue Eyes’’ Cheek: Sandy is also from the slums of Texas, and an immigrant of African and Anglo-French descent. She earns a reputation as an outspoken straight A student, but like Bob, she must drop out of school and becomes employed as a maid working for a rich family. Longing to save up enough money to relocate to Harlem, she joins Bob and Smiley’s crime spree. But she’s no hanger-on or gun moll. She becomes known as the notorious ‘’Blue Eyes Bandit’’, not because she sports blue eyes, but due to her displaying illegal blue police sirens on top of her vehicle in order to pull over unsuspecting drivers and rob them of their valuables.
· Squidward as Edward ‘’Eddy’’ Early: A Busby Berkeley knock-off, Eddy is a big Broadway musical choreographer and producer who (instead of organizing a charity concert) tries to put on the biggest 42nd Street-style show the Great White Way has ever seen in order to provide an escape for the public who are distraught by the Great Depression. (Also, this would provide jobs to hundreds of starving artists, but all he really cares about is having his name in lights on Broadway, ‘’in yellow and black and no fine print’’.)
· Mr. Krabs (I don’t remember him having a different name in my dream): Mr. Krabs is one of those billionaires who doesn’t lose his money in the stock market crash, because being the penny pincher that he is, he doesn’t invest in stock bonds and he doesn’t trust the banks, so he stashes all his money in jars under the bed. His Wall Street career begins before the crash, so instead of losing his fortune, he actually doubles his money during the Depression with his risky but mega successful business of ‘’short-selling’’ his shares, and profiting from the falls, rather than the rise in price. He hopes to groom his daughter, Pearl, to succeed him one day and inherit his billion dollar estate.
· Pearl Krabs: Mr. K’s teenage daughter, Pearl dreams of becoming a big Broadway star, and isn’t at all interested in the stock market, in which her father dapples in. She obsesses over Eddy Early’s musicals and steals some of her father’s money to run away to New York City where she hopes Eddy will train her into becoming a great stage actress.
· Plankton as Sheldon J. Proudfoot: Sheldon doesn’t fare as well as his Wall Street rival, Mr. Krabs, and loses his fortune in the crash. He obsesses over obtaining Mr. K’s secret to his success. He’s unhappily married and has an affair with his secretary, Karen.
· Karen Yoon: Karen is not married to Sheldon in the AU. Instead, she’s his secretary who later becomes his mistress. She hopes Sheldon will leave his wife one day and ask her to marry him.
· The Mayor as G. Marjorie Hooper: J. Edgar Hoover knock-off. Rather than the Mayor of their town, ‘’the Mayor’’ or Margie is now director of the FBI, trying to bring down the Bubble Buddies Gang.
· Perch Perkins: This one’s pretty easy. He’s just a yellow journalist.
Like I said, I’ll post the designs for the other characters prolly much later. I’m just lazy (let’s be honest: I got a summer job and so I don’t really have the time and energy to work on art every day).

12 Tricks That Help Celebrities Look Stunning in Photos, and You Can Use Them Too
Each actress, model, and person in the public eye has their own tricks that allow them to look good in photos. And it’s not just their best side that they turn to the camera or a winning angle they might use. There are many less obvious tricks that often contribute to their very dashing image.
We at Bright Side discovered some tricks of posing for photos from celebrities that can easily be used by ordinary people too.
1. Blake Lively raises her tongue to the roof of her mouth so that she won’t have a double chin.
In order to not worry about a double chin, Blake uses this simple trick. It makes the neck muscles contract involuntarily and the chin line becomes more clearly defined.
2. Nicole Kidman strains her neck so that her face looks better.
The proud posture of this actress is another way to outline the chin line. Nicole puts her shoulders down and pulls her head up, thus, straining the neck. This trick eliminates any possible skin imperfections.
3. Monica Bellucci raises her head.
The Italian actress uses this widespread trick when posing for photos — she raises her head and pulls her neck, thus, tightening the area around her face. In order to make the pose look more natural, Monica tilts a little to the side. One should be careful with this trick — if the angle happens to be unflattering, you might end up looking arrogant.
4. Taylor Swift bites her cheeks a little in order to enhance her cheekbones.
The American singer has a special bite that she uses wisely. When posing for photos, she often shows her teeth and at the same time bites her cheeks a little. It helps her to enhance her cheekbones. This trick can be figured out by the distinctive folds around the chin.
5. Megan Fox shows her tongue to look sexier.
The signature facial expression of this American actresses’ face is a slightly opened mouth and a slightly stuck out tongue. Megan enhances her sexuality with the help of this simple trick. Sometimes though, the actress looks a little weird but this doesn’t affect her charisma or attractiveness.
6. Julia Roberts wide opens her eyes.
The famous Hollywood smile of this actress hides a little trick. When smiling widely, Julia doesn’t squint, but looks upward. It prevents the appearance of small wrinkles around the eyes, while the look itself stays wide-open and a bit naive.
7. Jennifer Lawrence raises her brow and doesn’t focus her eyes.
The actresses’ signature facial expression is a slightly lifted brow and an unfocused look. In order to get this effect, Jennifer looks to the direction of the camera but, at the same time, she unfocuses her eyes, getting the effect of looking inside herself. It helps her create a mysterious, pensive gaze.
8. Mila Kunis puts her upper eyelids slightly down to make her look more sensual.
Wide-open eyes are the actresses’ main feature, not to mention the fact that she has mild heterochromia — her right and left eyes have slightly different colors. In order to make the look more sensual, Mila lowers and relaxes her eyelids. This trick can be only used by girls who have naturally big eyes, otherwise there is a risk of making your eyes look like narrow slits.
9. Charlize Theron exhales through the mouth.
In order to get the effect of a living and breathing photo, the actress uses a simple trick — she exhales through the mouth. It makes her lips look more voluminous but without the vulgar duck effect.
10. Meghan Markle bends her head in order to get closer to her audience.
In order to always look friendly in photos, just like a princess should, Meghan uses a simple trick — she bends her head forward and to the side as if bending toward an audience. Together, her kind smile, wide open eyes, and wave, make this pose very attractive.
11. Sandra Bullock lifts her shoulders to enhance the best features of her body shape.
By slightly lifting her shoulders, the actress strains her clavicle, thus, focusing attention on her toned figure. Again, the main thing is to not overdo it, otherwise the neck might end up looking too short.
12. Kirsten Dunst smiles with half of her mouth.
This half-smile is her signature trick and can be noticed in almost every one of her photos.
Each of us can find a signature trick when posing for photos. The main thing is to not get too hung up on one thing and remember that variety is important.
