(An oldie but goodie to mark an old tradition! Thank you, @absolut--kurant, for introducing me to Иван Купала many months ago 🥰)
-------------------
(Ay, little hare, ay, little grey one,)
(Ay, little hare, you small white tail,)
(And to the big city he leapt,)
(Grabbed a piece of sugar,)
(His trousers torn and lean,)
(And his legs crooked and thin.)
(Kolyada, beautiful one,)
(Kolyada, red-haired girlie,)
(Kolyada, don’t sit so near,)
(Kolyada, near to the road,)
(Kolyada, they will take you,)
(Kolyada, they will bring you,)
(Kolyada, they will sell you,)
(Kolyada, Kolyada.)
(Ay, little hare, that river there is deep,)
(But how, to that steep river,)
Едет миленький на палке;
(Does the little one with a stick go;)
(His trousers torn and lean,)
(And his legs crooked and thin,)

(Kolyada, they will sell you,)
(Kolyada, Kolyada.)
(Kolyada, they will travel,)
(Kolyada, merchants and boyars,)
(Kolyada, they’ll lock you up,)
(Kolyada, in a green carriage,)
(Kolyada, they will sell you,)
(Kolyada, for a hundred rubles,)
(Kolyada, Kolyada,)
(Tomorrow they’ll have meat!)

Three of my favourite scenes from Soviet Holmes...
The carriage ride. Of course. Seldom was there a more caring Holmes. And there's no actual reason for Watson to lean against Holmes like that. Other than for them to look adorable.
Watson gets angry at Milverton and Holmes can calm him with just a touch of their hands. And the way he instinctively grabs his hand.
And the third one is them reuniting after being apart during HOUN and it really depicts them being close. They miss each other and they're delighted to see each other.
This Holmes and this Watson are probably closer than any other pair.
