Really awesome article was published today (April 30th, 2023) about gay rodeo!!!
Please give it a read, and if anyone wants information on how to get involved: where to go watch, or even competing- just let me know. Gay rodeo has been going on since the 60s and has chapters in several states in the US, as well as in Canada. But only has a fraction of the numbers it used to, and very few younger folks.

I have 3d printed some very special dice
It's a D1. It only has one possibility.
For when things are certain.
Although, thinking about it, usually 1 is the number people don't want to get, what they want is a 20.
So I also made this

#joke dice#3d printing#3d printing adventures#dice#this was based on the one advertised on curiosity box which are all out of stock and i didn't want to wait#hand painted and a bit rough but they work#my machine is an fdm printer which is less suitable for the smaller end of things and i wanded these to be small#so they could blend in with other dice#i carefully adjusted the number size and position for balance and clarity#but imperfections in my printing means a little cleaning up was still needed#i kinda want to try more weird dice shapes#this was part of a present for a friend so this has been scheduled for after the party in the odd chance that she visits Tumblr before then#the only practical use i think is for expressing certainty (with perhaps just a bit of sarcasm).#'for that i need you to roll a D1'#'I'm going to roll D1 to see if they attack you'#etc

#fave spotting#roger delgado#the master#quatermass#doctor who#classic doctor who#delgado!master#quatermass ii#quatermass 2#images are rough i know‚ but that reflects the quality of the material to a degree#that we have complete copies of Quatermass II is a small miracle and to be celebrated#but as a bbc series from 1955 it is understandably in rather poor form as regards picture and sound quality#at least compared to contemporaneous shows from itc or america (largely shot on film)#anyway. what a delight to see young Rog! he's only in this one episode (although he can be seen briefly in the recap at the start of ep 5#and thus sometimes is credited with both) but he's playing a great character‚ a fleet street wonder that Quatermass brings in to try#and spread word about the conspiracy at the heart of the series. it allows Rog to play quite a different figure to the villains and foreign#dignitaries that became his stock in trade later on; he's a wily‚ astute but sceptical figure‚ who wants proof of Quatermass' claims and as#such is exposed to the alien horrors at work (allowing SPOILER for some very good 'battling possession' acting that leads into a truly#great cliffhanger). the serial almost feels like it has a guest of the week‚ with a significant character turning up for one ep only in#most installments‚ including Rupert Davies in the previous episode‚ but i think it's just the way the serial was formatted (and it's not#like Delgado or even Davies were particularly well known actors at this point in their careers)#still it's been fun to revisit. highly recommended for fans of dark and doomy sci fi horror

also fci=/=tkc and while tkc is square and conservative in many ways, fci member clubs may be less. so when commenters say things like smooth and rough collies used to be interbred but aren't anymore, this is true for the UK but not necessarily for neighbouring clubs - which deals with the same stock.

it’s been a while since I’ve given some news on my current writing status, but I can confidently tell ya that the word count for Ch27 of In Your Dreams will be at least 10k+ words! No set update time yet as I’m still chipping away at it bit by bit, but thank you all for your lasting support nonetheless, and stay tuned!

i'm going thru a lot of growth and transformation at the moment (maybe) but unfortunately i can only really express it thru agricultural and ecological metaphors
#U know when you've been overgrazing the field that is your life#So your life sward is really tightly cropped and has no resilience against metaphorical droughts and floods#and u might even experience spiritual soil loss#So u have to change ur management. For the good of the ecosystem#But it's rough because that involves having other pastures to draw on. U might not have that#u might have to lower ur stocking rate. Which is scary for anyone to contemplate!#But you have to! A little intense grazing is really helpful especially when the grass is growing strong#But part of making it grow strong includes leaving it time to rest#And cause this is all metaphorical u have to figure out what is grazing and what is sunshine and rain#Life hack real sunshine and real rain deffo count#Me Fein
