Ello! It's me again I want to thank you again for doing my Hantengu request, I wanted to come by again to request the ror x akaza reader
Where Akaza reader is fighting against an god and they give off a good fight so it makes reader get excited for this fight giving everything that she's got, ending it in an tie since they have big wounds and they end up getting romantical with each other possibly leading to something
You can choose the pairing :>
Tumblr media
Akaza Reader
-When offered, you took the chance to enter Ragnarok, hearing that you could fight some strong opponents. That’s all you wanted, you wanted a fight- a real one.
-You enjoyed watching the fights, seeing all of the strong opponents in both gods and humans that came before you, a grin on your face as your eyes seemed to sparkle, hoping your fight was going to be just as intense!
-You nearly sprinted to the field when you were told it was your turn, you felt almost like a kid again, antsy and vibrating with anticipated excitement!
-Your opponent looked strong, but you had faced so many in your past that looked strong and you beat them within moments, so you held back in your excitement for a fight, just until he was able to prove himself.
-He was able to take your punches and kicks with no real problems, blocking them pretty easily and when you blocked his first return blow, one that had you skidding back in the field, a bright grin appeared on your face, “So you are strong! Let’s have the best fight ever!!”
-Your opponent seemed amused by your enthusiasm and you both treated the crowds to one of the most exciting fights of the tournament, trading blows back and forth, you had gotten pretty badly injured, and so did he, but a little bit of pain did little to deter your joy.
-Your opponent had never seen someone so excited to fight before, especially a woman, but he didn’t see you as a woman in that moment, he saw you as a warrior.
-You awoke in the infirmary, not really remembering what had happened, confused as you mumbled out, “Did I lose?” a chuckle to the bed next to you had you looking over, seeing (Love) there, “It was a tie, we knocked each other out with that last attack.”
-You pouted lightly, your gaze returning to the roof before you sighed softly before turning to him with a grin, “Wanna have a rematch?”
-Raiden- He boomed with laughter, finding your enthusiasm to fight refreshing, flexing the one arm you didn’t break, “Sure thing! But let’s get healed up first and get some food first. My treat!” you were surprised before grinning yourself, “Is that how you ask all women out, fighting them then asking them to dinner?” he laughed again, giving you a boyish grin, “Only the ones who can kick my ass, which so far is only you.” You then flirted back, chuckling, “Good, then I’ll keep you all to myself then! I’m not losing the one person that I can go all out on.” The two of you went back and forth and by the time you were both discharged you were already holding hands and discussing battle techniques.
-Buddha- He grinned warmly, removing the lollipop from his mouth, “Never met someone so hungry for a fight before.” You sent him a grin, your eyes sparkling, “It’s hard to find people that I can go all out on and they can face me with equal strength.” Buddha smiled over at you, tossing you a lollipop of your own which surprised you, but you didn’t eat it, instead asking him about his prayer wheel weapon, curious about how it worked, because the way he made it seem was that it was almost sentient, and you wanted to know more so you have an even better battle. Buddha smirked over at you, “So is this how you flirt with men, by talking about fighting?” you froze and he couldn’t help but grin, watching your whole face flush red, as you hadn’t meant it in a flirting way, but he was quickly laughing, telling you that he was teasing you. Your cheeks puffed up in a pout which made you look even cuter before he grinned, sending you a wink, “Don’t stop now, Y/N, you’re making me fall for you.” He laughed even harder when you whole head seemed to be bright red, but you were opposed to the idea.
-Hajun- He immediately agreed, “Once we’re both out of here we can go and have as many rematches as you want, little demon.” You pouted at the nickname, but he saw your elation at his agreement to fighting again, “Maybe I’ll win this time, big demon.” He flinched lightly at your sass before snorting softly with laughter, realizing what you had done, “Careful now, beautiful one, I might have to discipline you.” You stuck your tongue out at him, giving him a playful wink, “Is that a threat or a promise~” he was stunned at your flirting, you were so bold and confident, but he couldn’t help but like it, chuckling as his voice seemed to drop, eyes piercing into your own, “I can assure you- it’s a promise.” Brunnhilde whacked you both on the head, leaving steaming lumps, telling you to stop flirting and there was to be no fighting until you were both completely healed.

Maka vs Crona episode 20-21
When writing fiction, there are many points that can end up becoming the defining moment where a story peaks as a tale.
The final climax is ideally when this happens, and the amount of times when that is the case aren't exactly rare.
However it is just as common for stories to peak early.
Goku versus Freeza on Namek is generally considered far, far better than Goku's many, many following bouts, Tolkiens battles of Helm's Deep and the Pellenor fields, climaxing with Aragon's sudden appearance with the rest of the Southern Gondor Forces is generally remembered far more than the battle at the black gate or the scouring of the shire, while One Piece has tried, and failed consistently to recapture the glory that was Water 7 and Enies Lobby that together formed the absolute best story in Shonen.
As for Soul Eater, wheter looking at the Anime, or the Manga, it is not exactly a controversial statement that neither qualifies as it's absolute best. The manga ended on a terrible note, while the Anime while sticking true to it's themes, didnt quite hit the landing as good as it could have.
What both have in common though, is the moment where their tales peaked.
Tumblr media
The Rematch between Crona Gorgon and Maka Albarn beneath the halls of the school leading up to the ressurection of Kishin Asura.
Rematches are always a fun thing in fiction, for a variety of reasons.
The most obvious is simply seeing how characters have grown or regressed since last time they brawled, but the simple fact is that rematches are baked into stories where there is conflict.
The Hero suffering an early loss, then facing their earlier foe only to emerge thriumphant is baked into the Storytelling DNA of the Human race. It's one of the most important parts of the Hero's journey for a reason, and you will find COUNTLESS examples of it, especially in shonen, which thrives on conflict and battles between individuals.
Ichigo vs Byakuya, Luffy vs Crocodile/Lucci/Katakuri/Kizaru/etc, team 7 vs Zabuza, and so on.
In the case of Soul Eater's rematch, on paper, and how it's set upon it's start, this battle is very much set up as a classic revenge rematch. Crona and Ragnarok obliterated Maka and Soul the last time they met, and now it's time to turn the tables.
Tumblr media
It starts off with a kickass action scene where Maka has learned from her mistakes in the earlier fight, and so uses Crona as a punching bag rather than something to cut...
It event has both combatants trash talking the other... Everything is set up for a good grudge match.
The funny thing is though, that this could not be further from what this fight is actually about.
Tumblr media
Because after that exciting action opening, that is meant to contrast with the first one sided fight, it almost immediatly switch gears to what it is actually about.
Maka and Crona as people, their flaws, their strenght, how both of them act as foils and mirrors, and brings out sides from the other that the story has not shown us before.
The first such moment is a follow-up to something Crona said in their first match.
"I don't know how to handle pretty girls"
That was a compliment, though obviously not meant as direct flirting, and this new line isnt either.
"S-stop. I can't look directly at people with big, strong eyes."
Crona looks at Maka as, in her own way someone to be admired... Because Maka has something Crona does not, and wants. Confidence, strenght, beauty.
Crona is both terrified of Maka... But also admires her at the same time.
The trash talk has nothing to do with bravery, or even looking down on Maka... Instead it's an attempt at putting up a brave front so the problem at hand will go away... But the moment Maka refuses to do so, and instead stares Crona down, Crona immediatly begins to crumble and instictively back down in front of Maka's cool and confident gaze.
Tumblr media
Also while the fight goes on, a lot things happens concurrently. Not much of it is important for the Fight, but the other big battle taking place, is. Medusa vs Stein and Spirit.
This fight has two purposes, in regards to Maka vs Crona. The first is to give us Medusa's opinion and testimony regarding how she raised Crona, and thus we, the audience does not need Crona to make a long monologue about their past while talking to Maka.
Tumblr media
The Second is contrast.
Spirit is absolutely certain that his little girl will win this fight. He has the bravery to trust in her, and her capacities, even after what happened the last time she fought Crona.
Tumblr media
By contrast Medusa believes Crona will win because of logic, and calls spirit's faith in Maka "Blind Parental Love."
The funny thing is, they are both right.
Crona IS stronger than Maka... Yet Maka will ulimately win.
Their conversation also serves to contrast both of their children, and how they grew up. Medusa raised Crona as a weapon that is desperate for her approval and love. This will in turn be hammered in by Crona's own rather depressing flashback.
Meanwhile Maka was raised with love and care. It was not a perfect home by any stretch, brought down by adultery, abandonment and the blame game as everyone blames someone else, rather than accept the bigger picture(Maka blames her dad for everything rather than fully accept that her mother abandoned her, Spirit blames himself for his weakness rather than lay any blame at his exwife for abandoning his daughter and running off rather than take the parental responsibility she took claim too by fighting for Maka's custody, while mrs Albarn used her husband's infidelity as an excuse/justification to in turn abandon her own child).
Ultimately what this fight is all about, is both of these children finally beginning their journey to healing from the wounds left behind by their childhoods.
It also shows the values both Medusa and Spirit passed on to their children. Medusa twisted her child by instilling values like not killing... Then deliberatly forced her child to either break those values, or lose her affection, speciffically to emotionally break Crona down into an obedient weapon.
By contrast, Spirit, upon hearing Crona's backstory reacts with compassion, empathy, and understanding. And as the fight between Maka and Crona rages on, Maka will make it clear, that despite all of her protestantions to the contrary, she is her father's child.
The fight that follows between the next generation is a nice spectacle, but the next important development comes as both of the two meisters soul ressonance with their weapons, with Maka betting it all on her Witch Hunter, her strongest move...
Tumblr media
And Crona completely blocks it with no problems, with a simple armguard, breaking the technique.
This moment is important for two reasons.
The first is the way it hammers in the point and themes that will later be repeated beat for beat during the climax of the series where Asura does this exact same thing to Maka's strongest technique in terms of raw power in either the manga or the anime, the Kishin Hunter, the same move that Shinigami used to beat and batter Asura around with ease.
Strength and Power will NOT beat madness and fear.
You cannot defeat fear, lonliness and depression by strength of arms, no matter how strong you are.
That is why ultimately Black Star and Kid will all ultimately fail to defeat Asura, and why Shinigami at his prime ultimately could not do it either, being forced to simply seal Asura away instead. Because every one of them faced this problem of trying to conquer their fears by using overwhelming force.
And they failed. Just like Maka fails here.
To defeat it you need something more, something completely different than might and power.
The second thing, and why this specific moment is what prompts Crona into going into a flashback right now, is that upon blocking Maka's best attack with ease, Crona suddenly has a spike of confidence, and lashes out, and brings Maka to her knees.
Tumblr media
And it brings us into the next section of the fight, as we explore another aspect of fear, madness, and bravery.
"Weakness can imitate strength if bound properly, just as cowardice can imitate heroism if given nowhere to flee."
This is not a quote from Soul Eater, instead being from the Stormlight Archives, but it encapsulates the Theme of the next section of the fight perfectly.
Crona is not brave. The sudden burst of confidence did not lead to a turn around where Crona confidently and bravely defeated Maka in combat.
It was the lashing out of a scared child with nowhere to run, who HAS to win this fight, even if Crona does not want to be here at all. That one moment simply gave Crona the push to unleash an overwhelming assault of power that Maka could not match.
Weakness can masquarade as strength, and Cowardice can pretend to be bravery if it has nowhere to flee.
Which is why this in turn leads Crona compares Maka to the first creature Medusa forced Crona to kill.
The Fact is Crona has no idea how to interact with Maka, either as an enemy, a rival, someone who Crona finds Attractive and cool, or just a human being in general... So it sorta just jumbles together into a mess.
But Crona has not had the option of running away from either of their two fights, and so has been forced to actually interact with Maka, and so is completely all over the map in how to deal with her. Sometimes it sounds like Crona is hitting on her, cause she's an attractive girl as far as Crona is concerned, sometimes Crona puts up a brave face, sometimes tries to decisively kill her, and so on.
Which is why this in turn leads Crona compares Maka to the first creature Medusa forced Crona to kill.
Tumblr media
We don't really know exactly how Medusa raised Crona before this point, but there are several important points to note here.
Crona understands at some level here that killing is, fundamentally wrong. When Medusa tells Crona to murder this thing, Crona does not want to do it, nor how to actually muster the will to actually kill.
That tells us 2. things.
1. is that Medusa deliberately raised Crona to be unprepared for this task. As Crona's mother, it would have been incredibly easy for her to raise her child with a far, far more viscious and brutal attitude against killing other living things.
But that is not what Medusa wanted. She wanted a broken and obedient weapon, an experiment she wanted to test and prod to see the reactions out of.
She WANTS Crona to not go through with it, and to be reluctant to do it at all, in order for the subsequent "Lesson" regarding obeying her speciffically no matter what, would hit as hard as it possibly could.
Tumblr media
Upon little Crona's refusal to go through with it, she then locks Crona in a dark room with no food or water for days, alone with Ragnarok that bullies and beats Crona up for failing at the "task".
And when Crona still doesnt immidiatly go through with it, she throws Crona right back in, and blames it on her own kid again, hammering in the "lesson" that this Crona's own fault for being a "Bad kid".
this is all brutal, but it leads us into the second point to take from the way she raised Crona before this.
Crona WANTS affection from other people... But Medusa only gives it on a conditional basis, but also very deliberatly isolates Crona from ANYONE ELSE to the point where Crona doesnt even have contact with animals.
In the end, this does lead to Crona finally going through with it.
There is a very deliberate difference at this point between Manga and Anime though.
In the Manga, the animal that Medusa wanted Crona to kill was a defenseless, cute bunny, to further hammer in just how defenceless it is. The anime though, probably for censorship reasons was forced to drop this imagery... So they did something better instead, that connects it to what Maka and Soul are about to do.
Tumblr media
in the anime, the animal is a small, dragon, unicorn thing that breathes fire, and upon first meeting it, Crona is for obvious reasons terrified of this thing, flinching away as it unleashes a jet of flame.
But after being starved, denied water, and physically abused by Ragnarok, Crona is let out from the room a third time. And this time, the reality that if Crona does not murder this thing, it will be right back to the room has set in... So when the dragon thing breathes fire right at Crona's face again, Crona doesnt even Flinch.
The fear is not gone though. it's just that with nowhere to flee, Crona mimics bravery, by embraces madness in order to not have to deal with the very real fear at facing the fire.
Tumblr media
Crona is able to pretend to be both strong, and brave, by giving all in to madness.
The funny thing is though... Maka and Soul do the EXACT same thing.
Tumblr media
Upon their tactic of just throw themselves in to the fight and hope to crush Crona with overwhelming force and power doesnt work, they instead decide to try to beat Crona and Ragnarok at their own game, by giving all in to the power of the black blood that makes Crona so powerful, with no heed of the dangers of embracing madness.
Tumblr media
This moment, and the subsequent beatdown that Maka delivers is probably the single most iconic moment in the soul eater franchise.
Maka going completely nuts, completely unheeding of danger or any sense of tactics or morality, as she kicks Crona's ass, is Soul Eater's best action scene as it not only is visually stunning and entertaining to watch... but PERFECTLY encapsulates the stories Themes.
Maka wants to win this fight, and so she throws herself into a course of action that at first glance might seem to be brave... Giving up your sanity for power to win.
If Soul Eater was a story about people sacrificing themselves for the greater good, this might work, but it's not.
Soul Eater is ultimately a story about bravery, and bonds. About how it's people coming together despite all their differences, that makes life so worth living.
Sacrificing yourself... or others, is the cowards way out. It solves nothing.
Maka is not brave as she faces Crona withouth a hint of fear. Just like Crona prentended to be brave in order to have the capacity to kill that dragon thing, so Maka pretends to be brave by throwing away all her fears and sanity for power.
Tumblr media
And in the end, embracing Madness only leads to Maka munching and gnawing on Crona's skull, having completely lost her marbles.
It's a different kind of defeat, but it still harkens back to her previous failure.
You cannot defeat fear by removing it, and pretending it isn't there... no more than you can do it with power.
Tumblr media
Having completely lost herself to madness at this point, the only possibility left for Maka at this point, is to reassess her surroundings, and pull herself back from the edge.
And so, pulling on her speciality as a meister, her ability to sense and read souls, she begins that journey by reconnecting to her own soul, noting how it's such a small and fragile thing... surrounded by madness, it's so easy to fall in... And that's withouth jumping head first like she and Soul did.
And of course, being directly connected to her through the black blood currently steeping her very being, she also feels the soul of her best friend and partner Soul Eater Evans, a twisted, yet great guy who is always willing to listen to her, even when she's being selfish.
Tumblr media
It is then though that Maka is drawn to another soul, one that fascinates her far more than either her own, or Soul Eater's soul.
Tumblr media
Now the anime doesnt fully make it clear why Maka is immediatly so facinated by this soul... Crona's soul, but it's very clear that she is immediatly drawn to seek it out.
Tumblr media
The manga however, makes the reasoning abundantly clear. She finds the soul beautiful for reasons she probably doesnt fully understand herself.
Regardless, she bonds with it, embracing it, and what it holds inside just like she did with her own soul, craddling it to her heart as she delves into it's mysteries.
Tumblr media
It's mysteries is a beach with no water, an unatural thing, where there should be beauty and life, and yet is as as devoid of both as the desert it so resembles.
This is Crona's soulscape, the defining mental landscape of the young Demon swordmaster's psyche, as defining for Crona as Soul's jazz and piano room is for him.
Tumblr media
It is here that we meet Crona's inner self, a young child, who deliberately draws a circle to be separate from the world... And yet so, so badly wants there to be someone, ANYONE else there.
And yet, when a companion appears, Crona's own shadow, Crona rejects it in a sad, yet resigned way, refusing to answer questions, passing on every one of them, until finally driving the shadow away as it becomes frustrated.
Now the questions are important in how Crona feels, but the actual takeaway isnt the answers, but how Crona refuses to respond to any of them, even completely obvious ones.
Tumblr media
Crona does not know how to do so. Medusa's parenting and deliberate isolating her own child from any form of interactions besides her has completely and totally stunted Crona's growth, hence why here, inside Crona's own head it's back to the childhood self, not the teenage years Crona has entered into.
Which brings us to Crona's relationship with Maka. As bizarre as it might seem, Crona's interactions with Maka is the closest thing to actual socialization with another human being besides Medusa that Crona has ever had.
Because Maka by virtue of opposing Crona and refusing to back down has forced Crona out of that figurative sand circle, and actually had to interact with someone else. It was all over the place, but it was real, genuine, human interaction.
Hence why Crona thinks back to Maka in this moment as the shadow leaves, yet another lost opportunity that Crona let slip for interaction.
Tumblr media
it's at this point that Maka, having now fully connected to Crona's soul, makes her appearance, in the form of her younger self with an adorable, lion's roar, scaring Crona, who protests that nobody else can be here, that this is where Crona is supposed to be alone from anyone else.
Maka does not care, and instead, upon being told of the circle's supposed purpose, destroys it by literarily stamping it out.
This completely destabilzes Crona's entire soul.
And upon returning to the physical plane, having left behind the Black blood and it's madness, Maka is face to face to a Crona who is having a form of seizure. All the methaphysical and psycological barriers that Crona has put up against the world have now been broken by Maka's actions, and is currently taking the form of the black blood inside of Crona's body shooting out everywhere in the form of spikes.
Tumblr media
From a tactical perspective, this is a great development. Crona is wide open and immobilized, so now is either the perfect time to take another shot with Witch Hunter, or to just leave Crona behind to go join Kid and Black Star.
However, things have changed.
Tumblr media
instead of doing either of those, Maka leaves Soul behind(much to his suprise and confusion), and withouth a weapon, completely calmly, walks up towards Crona, while talking in a kind, calm tone... The kind one does to someone who is freaking out and needs help.
And she keeps going forwards, despite the spikes that keep shooting forward almost impaling her every time.
Tumblr media
In many ways, it resembles the kind of just abandoning fear to try to overcome it that she just tried to use to win this fight... But it's not.
Maka UNDERSTANDS Crona now. She knows what drives Crona to the core... And so she believes that Crona does not want to hurt her.
She doesnt know this. She fully understands that Crona might just kill her on accident... But she does it anyway.
She takes the risk that comes with this march forward, because she WANTS to connect further with Crona. Crona needs help, and maka wants to give that help.
That is bravery. True bravery, not the kind of bravado that drove her to take Crona on to begin with because she wanted to avenge her previous loss.
It is also insane. Pure madness... And yet it works.
Tumblr media
Once more, she connects her soul to Crona, but this time, it's the opposite way, instead of delving into Crona's soul, she instead opens her own heart to Crona, to show that she understands.
Crona in response completely calms down, and after Maka lays out that she finally understands how Crona has never had anyone reach out and offer human contact before, Crona is... suprisingly at peace.
Crona still thinks that Medusa will now move and and that the time has come for mom to make good on her promises that Crona is expendable... And yet it somehow doesnt matter anymore.
Crona long ago gave up hope for physical, and emotional human contact with anyone, and now that someone finally has given Crona just that... That's enough.
It's time for Crona to just dissapear into the ether... To which Maka, very softly, but firmly delivers one of her book chops to get Crona's attention and out of the ending it all mindset.
Tumblr media
Rather than let Crona continue on in this suicidal mindset, Maka instead takes the next step, and offers Crona the one thing that surpasses even the low, low bar of basic human contact and compassion. Her hand in friendship.
An offer that brings Crona to total tears of happiness and joy, and as the two of them grabs the others hands, they once more bare their souls to the other, while Soul Eater Evans looks on, and addmits to himself that Crona's great fear, of contact with other people is a fear that he too shares.
Just like Crona... And just like Maka, he too ran away from that very thing... But as the Manga shows in his thoughts, despite running away from his brother, he managed to find the very thing he ran away here at this school, in the form of Maka, blair, black star, tsubaki, death the kid, liz and patty... just like Crona now found Maka.
It's an astonishingly strong and powerful fight that encapsulates absolutely every theme and idea about bravery, madness, human companionship that the story had, while utilizing it's cast to the fullest, while also making use of it's power system to forge one of the strongest bonds in Manga.
However, we still have one final thing to discuss before we're done.
Tumblr media
as we get as shot of Maka and Crona in Crona's soul scape once again, this time happy and smiling, hand in hand, the ocean finally begins, turning the desolate sands into beauty, washing over and then pulling back again, leaving the landscape actually alive, rather than the desolate, and lifeless void it was, and we end the episode on a special animation for the ending credit song.
That song is Soul Eater's second ending Theme, Style, and as we do a deep dive over Maka and Crona's development, we need to also go over it, and what it means, while also answering another question.
Why did Maka appear in the form of her kid self when she dove into Crona's soul scape?
the answer ties into why Maka and Crona made such incredible good foils and parallels for each other in this episode, and why both of them ultimately forged such a powerfull bond from these events.
Style you see, is a story told from the point of view of a child who is just making a new best friend by taking a risk and opening their door. It's about adults desperate to forge a "perfect future" like cogs in a machine, rather living in the moment, embracing everything as it comes, and asking god to make sure to record every one of the memories so they would be able to look back at these moments forever.
It is very much a soul eater styled song, but more importantly, it's a song that was very much chosen speciffically for Maka and Crona.
in a meta sense their relationship is DEFINED by this song, given how the episode ends with a special ending just for the two of them.
Maka and Crona's growth as people, are both defined by going forward... By going back and embracing their childhoods. More speciffically, what they both lost during it.
Crona lost both Childhood innocence, kindness and seemingly any chance to ever have friends and make normal, healthy human bond ever again.
Maka lost her ability to trust easily, became spiteful, hyperagressive, and lost her natural childhood kindness to others.
And both of them lost all of it, because of their parents. Crona lost it because of abuse, victim blaming, grooming and being treated as a weapon, rather than a child to be loved and nurtured.
Maka meanwhile lost all of the kinder, gentler, and trusting aspects of herself because of having to grow up and constantly see the dad she loved and looked up to cheat on her mother, and then subsequently being abandoned by that same mother, rather than have her serve as a source of strenght in her hour of need.
And through this newfound bond, both of them are able to regain all of it. That is the true beauty of Maka and Crona's relationship.
It's not as if all their problems go away, or their personalities go back to from before... the past, and how it has affected both of them is not ignored, or backtracked. but the path forward is a blend of what came before, and what they have become... while hopefully leaving behind the worst aspects of what they became at their worst.
Maka thinks Crona's soul is beautiful because deep down Crona is someone who wants to be kind and who thinks of others before themselves. all encapsulated by Crona's cute smile. That in turn brings out all of those feelings and emotions that Maka has tried so, so hard to bury to never be hurt again.
Crona thinks Maka is beautiful because she is a confident, brave, kind girl, who was willing to give even someone like Crona love, friendship, support and help even while being enemies. And in turn that makes Crona somehow reawaken the hopes, dreams and Values that Medusa cultivated just to deliberately murder for her own ends.
They both help the other to eventually get over their trauma in their own way and embrace their best selves... Despite the insane chance that Maka took to forge this relationship with someone she had no reason to even like, they were both so much stronger for it.
because they had the bravery, and madness to try.
Bravery and Madness, two sides to one coin.
And it all began here, over the course of two episodes.

love adore and delight in freya,  kratos,  and mimir travelling together after ragnarok in large part because they are the quintessential friend group with one brain cell the shenanigans must be insane
freya and mimir holding up literally any food they don’t recognize:  is this an olive
freya constantly challenging kratos to a rematch sometimes to settle an argument sometimes because she’s bored
kratos will ask a question obviously meant for freya and mimir will answer it guaranteed
once mimir was pissing kratos off so when they were buying dinner at a tavern kratos handed mimir over like payment and walked away and freya had to go and get him and whenever mimir acts up they’re like don’t make us spend u again
sometimes freya and kratos have to hunt or clear an area out and mimir is like leave me here with the supplies lads.  i’ll give anyone what for and freya just sets mimir on the ground and leaves
mimir:  wow this reminds me of the time where - freya,  exasperated:  let’s play the quiet game whoever is quiet longest wins
kratos has literally never lost
mimir loses after an hour tops and then tries desperately to get one of them to talk to him
the record that neither of them spoke was like 4 days or something
mimir wants to come up with a group name,  kratos and freya are absolutely opposed.  mimir suggests names at alarming speed anyways
mimir:  makes a pun kratos:  literally gets up and leaves
kratos is a dog dad anytime they see dogs or wolves he obviously wants to go and pet them but he’s too stubborn to admit it so eventually freya pretends  she  wants to pet the dogs and kratos follows her very relieved
they run into freyr references a lot and obviously this is very sad but also half the references they run into are in regards to freyr doing an obscene amount of drugs and freya is always so exasperated each time
freya once transformed into a bird but then got into a fight with another actual bird and kratos and mimir were on the ground cheering

*SPOILERS*
So, Peggy saves Kahhori by releasing the beings captured, and they all fight each other, because why not. There was Vision, Star-Lord, Captain Marvel, The Ten Rings, a Hulk if he was a god of thunder, and Gunslinger Loki (okay, I like that one).
And, zombies again.....yay. At least, we get to see Kahhori defeat Zombie Wanda. That or she teleported her somewhere else, sometimes I don't know what Kahhori can do with her powers.
Then we get Hela (bad Hela, not good Hela), and Surtur again. She knew him immediately, so is she from a universe where Ragnarok happened and she witnessed it? She can't be the main MCU Hela though, right? Well, they're getting their rematch either way.

How Endwalker's MSQ Should Have Ended
(For clarity, I did enjoy the final duel against Zenos as a gameplay experience and catharsis for having to put up with his BS through the whole expansion, but giving him his fight AFTER finishing the Endsinger felt a little undeserved narratively (at least as far as my WoL is concerned))
"So, here we are, two great warriors at the edge of the universe, with nothing remaining to distract us from the greatest fight of our lives. What say you, my friend?"
The Warrior of Light's lip twisted in utter disgust. "Stop calling me that," they spat. "I am not your friend. You have done nothing to earn the right to call me that. And I refuse to fight you."
"Oh come now," Zenos said, grinning, "is that any way to repay me for helping you keep pace with that prey we just slew?"
"I will admit I couldn't have defeated the Endsinger without you," The Warrior replied, "but I do not owe you anything because of it. If anything, your help has balanced the scales between us." Zenos opened his mouth to retort, but the Warrior pressed on, giving full vent to the seemingly endless frustration they had been holding onto ever since Fandaniel's damnable towers had started appearing. "We were even after the conflict over Othard and Ala Mihgo. I was helping to stoke rebellion against the Garlean Empire, and you were defending territories you had authority over. You kicked my ass a couple times, and then I rallied and kicked yours back after you fused with that abomination among primals. You died, and that should have been the end of it, but NO, you not only spat in Nald'thal's faces and came back to life but then proceeded to take every opportunity you could find to interrupt my efforts to save the entire bloody star and its reflections from annihilation just so you could get a petty little rematch."
Zenos brushed off the entire rant with a dismissive wave. "Yes, yes, he said, "I was a little hesitant to acknowledge that you were already pursuing a new grand fight, but-"
"Enough," the Warrior shouted, throwing their weapon on the ground, or what passed for ground at least. "You just don't get it, do you? I take no joy in fighting primals and gods for the thrill in the moment. The only joy I get from those fights, the only reason I keep fighting, is knowing that doing so protects Eorzea, nay, the entire star! I am one of a very small handful of people who can face down rogue primals without being tempered, and recently the things I've been obliged to stand up to are so powerful that the only allies I can call upon without fearing for their lives are other versions of myself. Fighting you again, here and now, is utterly pointless. You are so far from being a threat to the people and places I care about that I would only raise my blade against you out of self-defense." They knelt down, retrieved their weapon, and then rose and pulled out their emergency teleportation device. "Here's something you probably don't know about this location," they said. "It only came into existence because of the dynamis of all the Meteia gathered here. Now that they're dead, it's only our two wills keeping it together. I wonder, then, if your determination alone can sustain it, and for how long? Goodbye, Zenos, and please stay dead this time." With a final smirk at the horrified expression on Zenos' face, the Warrior triggered the device and returned to the Ragnarok and their friends.
It was time to head home.

Additional WRGP rewrite ideas to go along with last time
-Sherry’s team gets to duel before that wormhole sucks her out of existence. They could replace the opening match (Team Unicorn) or the semi finalists (Team Ragnarok). The latter would require more changes, ie: writing out Team Ragnarok’s minor involvement in Ark Cradle and pushing the semi finals before the tournament is postponed but either of these could work.
-Yusei and Akiza both duel Sherry herself in some way. Yusei and Sherry had a foreshadowed rematch that never happened and Sherry was part of Akiza’s inspiration to Turbo Duel. Whether this is the opening or semi-final, I would personally want it to go like this: Jack loses to the first or second duellist, Yusei defeats the second duellist but the third duellist is Sherry, who defeats Yusei. Like I discussed last time, Yusei losing sets a precedent that he is not unbeatable and thus raises the stakes. Then Akiza duels and defeats Sherry, the person who initally inspired her to become a Turbo duellist. It’s a good payoff to Akiza learning to Turbo duel and it would have been a much more interesting duel than what Team Unicorn or Team Ragnarok gave us, and with the right tweaks to the writing, could function in place of either of those.
-Team Taiyo stays the same no matter what because I like them.

Supreme Sheep (Final Rose)
What or who is the Supreme Sheep?
Simply put, certain types of sheep can ‘evolve’. There are normal sheep, Elder Sheep, and Ancient Sheep. An Ancient Sheep is powerful enough that Team RWBY at the start of Beacon Senior Academy would easily lose to one. Ancient Sheep have invariably played important roles in history, with pretty much all of them becoming legendary for their heroic deeds. As you can imagine, Ancient Sheep are exceedingly rare to the point that multiple generations can pass without a sheep ascending to that rank.
But there is something beyond an Ancient Sheep. The Supreme Sheep is the mightiest of all living sheep, an Ancient Sheep whose might towers over their peers. It is a title that can only be given via the acknowledgement of all the other Ancient Sheep.
During the Age of Heroes, the Supreme Sheep was a sheep named Windhorn. His Semblance was the ability to control gases, most commonly air. This allow him to basically control the wind, and he used his Semblance to do things like create hammers out of compressed air that could crush entire buildings with ease, wind blades that could slice through hilltops, and generate shields or walls of air so dense they could repel artillery.
Windhorn would be close to the end of his long life when the Battle of Remnant occurred. He would aid in the defence of Oerba, standing proudly in defence of the gates as one of his ancient ancestors had done. There, Windhorn would hold the gates, his proud form standing unwavering before the endless hordes of the Grimm, knowing full well that with so many of Oerba’s greatest warriors locked in combat all over the planet, it fell to him to hold the gates.
And hold the gates he would. Windhorn would stand there, unbeaten and unbowed, with the gates at his back and the Grimm before him until JENOVA was slain and the remaining Grimm were put to flight and slain. Finally, after the end of the battle, he would allow himself to sit down.
The city’s defenders would reach him, only to find that he had passed away. In accordance with the old ways of the Yun, Windhorn would be afforded a hero’s burial. He would burned atop a bier heaped with flowers taken from the meadows where he liked to graze, and his ashes would be scattered from the summit of the Father.
Of course, being such a long-lived sheep (Ancient Sheep can live for centuries), Windhorn sired many children. One of his descendants in the distant future is Fleethoof, the Ancient Sheep who spent much of his time dancing merry jigs and teaching multiple generations of Imperial nobility not to underestimate a sheep in a fight.
To put his strength in further perspective, when Diana was six-year-olds she challenged Windhorn to a fight in her Ragnarok form. She lost, and it wasn’t close. Diana did eventually win the rematch, but she admitted that Windhorn himself was likely an SSS Tier or EX Tier combatant.
Windhorn possessed overwhelming offensive ability, outstanding defence, and immense durability. He also had incredible speed and agility and was adept both at long range and in close quarters. He could strike broad areas or focus on single opponents. In other words, he possessed no weaknesses to exploit. The only real way to beat him was to simply be stupidly overpowered.

REVIEW | "Record Of Ragnarok" - Vols. 4 & 5 | B3 - Boston Bastard Brigade
Tumblr media
How can the world’s biggest loser come out on top? It’s a question that races through the spectators’ brains during the fight between Poseidon and Sasaki Kojiro. While the god has won many a battle, the samurai is known more for chalking up one loss after another. Yet in Record of Ragnarok’s fourth and fifth volumes, readers will know why Kojiro has kept moving forward without a single chip on his shoulder.
As the audience watches the fight, both Poseidon and Kojiro’s back story is presented. From Poseidon’s perspective, we see a man who has tasted victory without the bitterness of failure. Perhaps his most impressive feat was killing a god (his brother Adamas), and making his existence vanish from almost everyone’s memory. But because he’s never lost a battle, Poseidon appears to never have gained anything from his wins.
Tumblr media
That’s why Sasaki Kojiro winds up being a far better competitor than his god counterpart. His story is all about losing in order to gain knowledge. From fighting fellow samurai to becoming one with nature, Kojiro learns how to best even the toughest opponent. But his past challengers never got to have a proper rematch, as a mere look into Kojiro’s eyes is all it takes to know that they won’t win a second time.
It’s a concept that speaks many volumes in Record of Ragnarok. To lose is to learn; to win is to self-gratify. While both have their merits, defeat means there’s still plenty to learn on the path of life. Simply winning over and over again is soul-numbing, a feeling that one can see in Poseidon’s glossy-eyed face. He gets zero satisfaction with his wins, whereas Kojiro gains more enlightenment with every loss he’s given. Because of this, Kojiro is the one who looks the more intimidating in battle.

2; this area is meant for entirely entirely platonic archives, meaning there will be no nsfw nor romantic writings here. Just platonic interactions, since there do not seem to be that many… however, there will be inclusions of Angst, Fluff, Hurt/Comfort, and Yandere fics, but there will be no NSFW or romantically inclined things.
Fandoms I write for:
Twisted Wonderland. (All characters).
Obey me. (All characters).
Blue Lock. (All characters, except Ego).
Record of Ragnarok. (All characters).

Genshin Impact. (All characters).
Honkai: star rail. (All characters).
3; This is an x-reader blog, meant as a self insert, even if platonically. However, the reader will always be referred to in the second person on fics (“you”), and unless specified in the fic, the reader will be referred to by gender neutral pronouns.
4; Updates will be irregular, the keeper tends to be busy most days. But there will still be content, rest assured.
5; to keep with the theme of the blog, generally, fics on this will be called “matches” and their continuing parts will be their “rematches” respectively: but they will still have individual titles. For example; “Match : x title Rematch: ##”
6; the blog is now taking requests! Though it might take some time, put your word in and the keeper will do her best to respond.
When Requesting, please remember:
Be respectful of the conditions mentioned above.
Be specific, please!
7; any blank blogs will be blocked and reported, and NSFW fandom blogs will be asked to please not interact. This is the harshest rule, so please, be advised.
That’s all for now, champion. We hope you enjoy your stay up here. Peruse, if you wish. There’s a lot to uncover, after all.

Bruce Banner/Hulk should have fought Thanos in Endgame. And Thor should have snapped everyone back. Thor already went for the head earlier in the film. Huh deserved a rematch with the titan more than Thor. Professor Hulk is a joke
//so my thoughts on Endgame are a little complicated, and everyone is entitled to their thoughts and feelings about a movie or whatever.
I'm going to say at first I hated Endgame until the last like 30 mins of the movie. I thought it was a horrible mistake to end Infinity War with Thanos getting all of the stones, I mean total baller move to have him win in the end and leave the heroes in the lurch of a huge and heavy loss. I thought it could have been great if they still had the big war over Vision and the mind stone but he would have all the stones, that there still had to be a couple left out there that neither side knew where they were and it was a race to get them.
I thought that the Thor part and the Professor Hulk bits were distracting and were on some level meant to be a joke, especially Thor's parts. I was so dissatisfied by the movie that I was going to write my own ending to Infinity War and rewrite Endgame to make it better, or what I thought was going to be better. Then I saw the Cinemawins video on youtube about Endgame and the way it was explained at the end made so much more sense to me and then I saw that Endgame was really a masterpiece.
So lets track this to Thor first since I have the most to say there. So Thor even just prior to Infinity War was having a rough go of things, he was understanding the magnitude of the stones revealing themselves since Age of Ultron. His quest to find the other stones and the answers as to why they were surfacing now didnt seem to be all that fruitful, which for what he was doing was a bit rough, then he goes back to Asgard after effectively ending the prophesied end of his homeworld only to find that his brother is still alive (take that as a win or a loss how you see fit) and that his father was exiled to Earth, they catch up to Odin only to find that hes on his deathbed and goes off to the etherial plane. Shortly after he meets his sister who destroys his hammer, the one weapon he had wielded for the majority of his life, the one weapon he could rely on for everything and in his mind's eye granted him so many abilities that he felt he didnt have.
After that he realizes that he and Loki must start Ragnarok and destroy their homeworld to keep Hella from going on a conquest across the cosmos raining down death on the universe. So in the span of a few days he loses his father, his trusty weapon, and his homeworld which he destroyed and watched it be obliterated. So now his only family is his brother who he had a tenuous relationship at best, homeless, the legacy of his mother and father was destroyed because he had to, and now hes figuratively naked because the weapon that had helped him and in many cases saved him was now destroyed and gone. All of this a tough pill to swallow going into Infinity War.
Within a short time they are set upon by Thanos, who ravages the fighters who try to defend the remnants of the Asgardian people, totally demolishes the Hulk at his peak fighting ability, and slaughters half of the Asgardian refugees (presumably in front of Thor), and Thor through the whole thing with as much strength and fighting ability that he has (minus Mjollnir) is still helpless to do anything about it. Then the final blow happens before Thanos takes his leave, he strangles the last living family that Thor has in front of his eyes. This time is different, this time its not a trick this is for real, Loki is gone. The guy he grew up with all of his life, even though their relationship was troubled he still loved his brother deeply and wouldnt want to see anything happen to him.
We fast forward through the events of Infinity War and Thor returns with Stormbreaker (presumably Mjollnir reborn and better in Thor's eyes) and is ready to live up to the greater moniker he held with the others and avenge his people, his father, his brother, and himself. However when it came down to saving the galaxy he fell just short of doing so by his aim being off, because when he took his shot he just missed and like Thanos teased, he should have gone for the head. I'm not saying its Thor's fault his aim is off, I think in some cases there was a bit of falling into old habits. The hammer even if it lands a blow it would knock someone down and they were down, the axe has a more kill shot potential with the axe head, had he landed the hit on the head instead of the chest (which I assume he would always aim for) it would be an instant kill and day would have been saved. But the habit caught up with him because he wasnt someone who was accustom to fighting with a hammer instead of an axe.
Now we come to Endgame, we see early on that he is away from the others, quiet and reflective. The weight of the countless souls that were instantly snapped out of existence weighs heavily on his mind, his responsibility was to the nine realms to protect them, and he failed in his duty, in his purpose so he was questioning what his worth was now that he had failed so miserably in his mind. And while yes when they tracked down Thanos and he takes the Titan's advice and goes for the head, when they ask him what he did and he answers them with the words Thanos told him its said in a way that the words clearly haunt him, like hes in a bit of a trance. I believe in a way he was still back in that Wakandan jungle doing what he should have done that, hes still playing that moment over again in his head, haunted by his massive failure. Even as he walks away it is clear the weight of his failure is crushing him. We fast forward to where we see him again, five years after. He has let himself go, he has refused to take any leadership role in New Asgard, and he has taken to looking for comfort/answers/solace at the bottom of a bottle/keg. He had fallen into a deep depression and drinking was his way of escaping his failure, his way of trying to forget what had happened.
Now speaking from personal experience, its easy to crawl into a bottle to try and forget your failures, to try and find the answer and comfort your seeking down there. To get drunk every night to find some sort of escape from whatever you feel is crushing you, to just for a moment feel better about what has been making you feel so horrible about yourself. However no matter how much you try to run from it or escape it or forget about it, it seems to always be there waiting for you to wake up, its the first thing that greets you in the morning when you are sober and awake, and thus starts the cycle again.
So between all of the losses that had had seen, and then going back in time to seeing his ex girlfriend at a time when she still loved him, seeing his mother on the day she was going to die was hard for him to deal with. Even though talking with his mother helped him sort some things out and helped him see some things and even though Mjolnir deemed him still worthy even though he failed and fell into this depression, there is still alot of other processing other feelings, and sorting other things out. One conversation with his mother was not going to fix everything, but it was a catalyst of him seeking to get and feel better. So fast forward again to where he is begging to do the snap to bring everyone back, while he is in a better headspace, hes not where he needs to be to do the snap and do what needed to be done. He still needed to do a lot more work on himself, needed to do a lot more sorting things out in his head to put what happened behind him. The whole plan was to not change anything from the past five years, everything that happened happened, just everyone that was gone was coming back that was it. So I do agree with that choice that was made to not let Thor do the snap to bring everyone back, as someone who has been where he was and is in some ways still where he was he wasnt the right choice for something so critical.
Now to come back to Hulk and Professor Hulk. In 'Phase 1' of the MCU it is established early on that the Hulk is a mindless rage monster, and he lives up to it every single time hes on screen. While yes he does understand and speak and what not, by in large the only thing he is doing is raging out and destroying things, that is all that is going on. It is also worth mentioning that in the first Avengers movie that they even establish that the stones give off levels of gamma radiation which is something that the Hulk can absorb to a point.
Now I agree it would have been awesome to see a Thanos/Hulk rematch and I do feel like it was something that could have been earned after everything that had happened, he could have had a bad ass moment like the way Wanda had with Thanos. However there is a couple of things that would have kept it from happening. First a foremost, someone beats the ever living shit out of you, youre not going to be too keen on going back to that person for any sort of rematch. The hulk being who and what he is is a creature that runs off basic instinct and basic instinct says to stay away from that danger, so in the scenes when Bruce is trying to bring out the Hulk and he says No, its because the Hulk is scared and doesnt want to get the shit kicked out of him again. Now the other thing too, is that I believe that the Thanos we saw in Infinity War was someone that was more enlightened and his focus wasnt to maim or brutalize someone like the Hulk, while yes he was having some level of fun matching blows and then some. The Thanos that we see in Endgame was someone who would have gone all the way and would have killed the Hulk just for the sake/sport of it.
The other deciding factor that we didnt get a Hulk/Thanos rematch is because after Professor Hulk makes the snap, the released gamma energy ravages his arm and weakens him a considerable amount. Now I know youre thinking well why not have someone else do the snap, the problem was was that no one else could have done it, done it properly, and survived it. Alot of the conversation and actions in Endgame were about pay offs from things that were said and done in other movies in the past, one example is in the first Avengers when Tony said that everything that was special about Steve Rogers came from a bottle (the super soldier serum), and then comes back in Endgame with him being worthy enough to wield Mjolnir in battle proving that there were special things in him that were from him alone.
The pay off here for Professor Hulk is when Tony tells Bruce that in reading about the accident that created the Hulk, that the amount of gamma radiation that he took that fateful date should have killed him, that he believed that the Hulk saved his life, and when he questioned why they elude in Endgame it was for this moment. Bruce even says in that moment before he puts on the gauntlet that the radiation was mostly gamma, that it was like he was made for that moment. Now I know what it sounds like, that essentially hes a plot device, and I cant really deny that, but what I can say is that even though thats what he is in that moment its still a great pay off for what was said and established early in the franchise.
But as I stated earlier, no one else could have performed the snap, done it properly to just bring everyone back no changes just everyone gone comes back, and survives it. Natasha is dead, we have Tony, Rhodey, Scott, Clint, who are just regular human beings that are not enhanced in any way that would have allowed them to survive, then there is Steve who is enhanced however it wouldnt have protected him or allowed him to survive the snap, Rocket is still a raccoon and definitely wouldnt be in any way able to survive the snap, the Nebula that comes back is the one from 2015 that was still loyal to Thanos and was off trying to bring Thanos and his armada through the time portal, and Thor wasnt in the right physical shape or mental shape to handle the effects of the snap. The only one that was left was Professor Hulk who did have the mental ability and cognition to essentially make such a complex request from the stones, where the Hulk would have wished himself back on Sakkar to be the gladiator god that he was on there.
So while Professor Hulk might have seemed a bit out of place and a bit of a joke, he serves a very specific purpose that when you analyze it and think about it some, you realize that he was being set up for a big hero moment, a big payoff, and a way to progress the story to its final stage.
So these are my thoughts on what you call out, you are entitled to your thoughts and feelings and I respect them. But I do encourage you to find cinemawins on youtube and watch their video on Endgame and you'll see more of what I'm talking about, I dont know if you'll come to the same realization as I did, but its definitely worth watching someone else's take on the subject matter. Hope you enjoyed my analysis on these characters!

Rematch of Ragnarok Round XIII Intro:
The battlefield of the gods had been restructured yet again in the aftermath of the battle between the wicked god and damned human. Where there was once hanging skulls and pillars of bones, now there stood an arena of regality. Banners were posted at both the god and human entrances, flying majestically in the wind. On the side of the gods, red banners bearing the image of a golden sun radiating light. On the humans' side, a green and white banner bearing the image of a dragon hung in opposition to the divine sun. The arena itself was different from the simple stone and sand of the previous battles, instead being an intricate and beautiful garden, with a gentle river running between the trees, and a path throughout being paved in cobblestone. Many in the audience looked on in awe at the sheer regality that emanated from the arena, a battleground truly worthy of the divine.
In the center of the garden sat Heimdall, the steel-faced dwarf kneeling down in the midst of the garden, sipping at a cup of tea serenely. "Ahh... That hits the spot." Immediately, he hopped to his feet, holding his Gjallerhorn to his mouth as the spotlights of the arena all turned to face him. "Indeed! What a beautifully serene battleground for Ragnarok! To think that the quiet of this arena will soon be disrupted as the battle between Creator and Creation rages on! In the second half of Ragnarok, the gods were quickly able to capitalize with two vicious victories back-to-back, but a surprise shut-out lead to Humanity shattering any attempt at a winning streak! Will Mankind be able to continue pressing on this advance?! Or will the Gods take vengeance for the loss of one of their own?! Well there's only one way to find out! FIRST UP! REPRESENTING THE GODS!"
youtube
At Heimdall's words, the sun began to shine bright over the heads of all present, man and god alike. The heavenly body's intensity was enough to nearly blind those who looked up at the sky.
"AAAAACK! MY EYES!" Goll cried out as she began to rub at her face, having been one of the many unlucky ones who found themselves staring too hard at the heavens.
"HERMES! HELP! I'M BLIIIIIIIIIIND!" Ares cried out, the bumbling god of war yelped in panic, stumbling around the gods' half of the arena while his brother merely sighed and held his face in his hands.
"When the Shinto Pantheon was young, the gods Izanami and Izanagi divided the world into three parts, one for each of their children!" As Heimdall spoke, a staircase of pure light began to form beneath the shining sun, and a pair of geta sandals began to touch down on them, the footsteps of the goddess ringing out throughout the arena. "The raging seas were gifted to the tempestuous and wild youngest brother Susanoo-no-Mikoto! The dim and mysterious nights were given to the cold and heartless middle child Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto! But the bright and joyful days, and the heavens themselves?! They fall under the reign of the eldest sister of the Three Great Kami!"
The source of the light was revealed: a shining bronze mirror that floated behind the goddess's back, gleaming with the intensity of a thousand suns. Hair as dark as pitch ran down to the small of her back, tied off into a ponytail, and upon her head was an ornate tiara that gleamed in the light her heavenly mirror produced. Draped over her body was an ornate kimono of white, gold, and red, and hanging around her neck were several jade magatama. A body and demeanor befitting the empress of the heavens.
"Haaaah… What a pain, what a pain…" a man muttered as he looked on the sight, lazily scratching the back of his head. A massive sword with several notches carved within it hung off his back and a straw hat was perched atop his messy black hair. "Just looking at her like that hurts my eyes, don't you agree, brother?" The god of the storms Susanoo-no-Mikoto turned his head towards his elder brother with a grin.
"Tch…" A second man, both hair and kimono hair of pure white, merely scoffed at the words. "Don't try acting all cool, Susanoo. You know most of all what's likely to happen in a Ragnarok like this." The god of the moon Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto stared forward at the battlefield, hand gripping his shoulder taut. "So tell me… How do you like our sister's chances here?"
"Ehhh, hard to say, Tsuki," the god of the storms muttered as he stroked his beard in thought. "Mankind's definitely got fighters that shouldn't be underestimated, you saw that for yourself. But then again… Ammy's always been full of surprises, hasn't she?"
"I thought I told you to stop giving us those inane nicknames, Susanoo."
"Must've slipped my mind, Tsuki."
"Where there is darkness in this world, she will arise to bring it to light! Where there is evil in this world, she will descend to exterminate it!" The Watchman of the Gods roared out before the arena. "Such is the way of the supreme goddess of the sun!"
The goddess of the heavens finally reached the bottom of her stairway, hand reaching downward towards her side. With a single movement, she unsheathed her weapon, an ornate blade nearly as long as she was tall. The Kusanagi no Tsurugi, the famed blade of the Supreme Ruler of Japan, gleamed like a precious jewel within the light. Despite her seemingly slight frame, the goddess swung the massive straight sword around as if it was nothing more than a simple blade of grass. As the winds and the light swirled around her, she stood, unerringly calm.
"All beings, man and god alike, bow before her majesty as she descends upon mankind to punish their heresy! Bow before her, for she is the eldest of the Three Great Kami! Bow before her, for she is the Mother of the Emperors of Japan! Bow before her, for is the Supreme Goddess of the Shinto Pantheon! BOW BEFORE HER, FOR SHE IS NONE OTHER THAN THE GREATEST GODDESS WITHIN THE HEAVENS!"
The goddess planted her blade in the garden, her hair flowing in the winds as the audience all cheered for her. She opened her eyes, revealing two golden orbs that shone with the intensity of the sun itself, as if to gaze within the sinful souls of all humanity.

Ragnarok Round XIII
Amaterasu(Japan)
"YEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" The side of the heavens erupted in cheers and applause upon the descent of the goddess of the sun. "Go, Amaterasu!"
"The Indomitable Sun Goddess is here!"
"Show those humans what it means to rule as a god!"
On the humans' side, several people began to pale in fear at the sight of the goddess of the sun. "S-so that's Amaterasu… They say she's a Chief God like Shiva and Zeus…"
"Can we really defeat a god as strong as that?"
"No way… There's just no way! We'd have to have an absolute monster to even think of challenging someone that strong!"
Heimdall raised his arm, immediately silencing the audience, god and man alike. All eyes were now on him as he raised his Gjallerhorn high. "And now, to introduce the human who will be challenging the Goddess of the Sun in Ragnarok!"
youtube
RUMBLE...
"Hm?" One of the gods looked up at the sky in confusion. "What's going on…?"
DRIP… DRIP…
"…!"
"THE SUN!" the god cried out in shock. "W… WHERE DID THE SUN GO?!"
Indeed, just as quickly as the sun had arrived to shine down on the arena, so too did it disappear. Without anyone, god or man, noticing, the arena had been covered by a massive storm cloud, and rain now started to drip down on everyone present. Nearly everyone looked up to the sky in terror and fear, barely able to believe the sight before their eyes.
"No way…!"
"Did the human do this?!"
"That's impossible! This has to be a prank by Susanoo!"
Said storm god immediately got a smug smile on his face at the immediate change in weather. "Well now… This looks like it's gonna be fun!"
"Tch…" The Great Divinity Illuminating Heaven merely rolled her eyes of the dark clouds rumbling overhead, before using her mirror to dry up any raindrops that got near her. "Of course it had to be another storm-wielder…"
"The representative for mankind, aiming to blot out the Heavenly Light of Amaterasu, and rain down her vengeful thunderstorm on the sun itself!" Heimdall cried out, holding his hand up to the now-cloudy skies above. "In the eras of sword and sorcery, it is said that the most good and righteous king to have ever lived was none other than Arthur, the Once and Future King of Camelot!"
Within the stands, a man wearing chainmail armor grit his teeth at the words Heimdall spoke. "I knew it… She's the warrior the Valkyries chose to represent mankind?" The Champion of Camelot, Lancelot du Lac, snarled. "A monster who sought to destroy a perfect age of chivalry… And we are to expect her to be our hero?! And over our king, no less?!"
"Calm down, Lancelot," an older gentleman chuckled as he stroked his beard. "After all, she's fighting to save us all, is she not?" The great sage of Camelot, Merlin, looked onto the battlefield with a grin. "I must say, it is an honor to see my student on the battlefield of the gods..."
"Pah, as if I'd believe that," the knight scoffed "This has to be another of her wicked plots!"
"Perhaps, perhaps not," the brilliant wizard laughed. "But should you not follow the example of your king? What say you, Arthur?"
A blonde man, bearing a golden crown and a well-kept beard, merely sighed at the squabbling before him. King Arthur leaned back in his seat as he looked over the rumbling heavens. "I know Morgause has done us wrong… She's done all of us wrong before. But if she is fighting for mankind's salvation, then I shall not begrudge her actions. No matter how much I fear this may be another of her games…"
"But every hero must have his villain! Every righteous good shall be followed close behind by a wicked evil! Every knight will meet a dragon that he must slay! So too did Arthur's Camelot have a vicious and cruel tyrant that sought to bring it to its knees! And the monster that sought to destroy everything the King of the Britons stood for was none other than his own sister!"
Up within the black skies, a single speck of white could be seen darting about. A woman clad in white robes sat atop an ivory staff, looking down at everyone, man and god alike. Despite the raging storm, not a single drop of water so much as touched her pristine dress. She raised a single finger and pointed it down, unleashing a bolt of lightning at her opponent.
KSHHNNNG!
In one single stroke, the sun goddess split the thunderbolt in twain with Kusanagi, the two halves of the lightning arcing harmlessly behind her.
"HEY! WHAT THE HELL?!" a god roared out in outrage. "HOW DARE YOU TRY AND HIT OUR SUPREME GODDESS BEFORE THE FIGHT EVEN BEGINS?!"
"Damn humans, cheating again!"
"You're despicable! You should be disgusted you even thought of harming the Chief Goddess of Japan!"
The witch merely smiled at the boos and jeers of the crowd, eyes shining at the anger her actions incurred. "So, another perfect angel has made herself known?" she whispered to herself. "Good… I'll enjoy tearing her down and seeing her beg for my mercy…"
"Oh, brother…" a woman in black robes sighed out in exaggerated frustration as she held her hand to her face. "I shoulda known it was her when the clouds started to roll in, the big ham…"
"Well, at least we know she's still as confident as ever, right Morgan?" a younger woman replied. "I know that you, Arthur, and her all had your differences, but she's fighting to save mankind. That's got to count for something, right?"
"Fighting to save mankind… Hah!" the woman known as Morgan le Fay scoffed at the notion. "Please, Elaine… We both know that she's only in this for herself."
"Mankind forgot her in ages past, but today, she has chosen to enter the Battlefield of the Gods, and carve her name into the very souls of God and Man alike!" Heimdall roared over the crowd. "She is the Witch-Queen of Orkney! The Wicked Witch of the Medieval Age! The eldest of the three half-sisters of King Arthur! But as she aims to conquer the heavens themselves, she will etch but one name within history!"
The woman in white touched down on the ground, light as a feather, revealing a tall and elegant woman with hair as white as the clothes she wore. The witch slammed her ivory staff into the ground, stilling the rumbling heavens in a single motion. The Downfall of Camelot smiled as she looked down at her opponent with murder in her eyes and a wicked smile on her face.

Ragnarok Round XIII
Morgause(Wales)
The arena was silent as the two combatants stared each other down, both queens sizing the other up as everyone in the audience nervously looked at the other side.
"So… This is the Supreme Heavenly Light of Japan, hm?" the Downfall of Camelot grinned as she spun her staff around in contemplation. "Well, 'God'…"
CHAK!
Morgause pointed her staff towards Amaterasu, eyes narrowed. "Prostrate yourself and bow before me… Or die broken and beaten at my feet."
"Hmph…" While many within the godly audience flinched at the words coming from the Queen of Orkney, the sun goddess was not so easily cowed.
K-CHK!
Amaterasu raised her blade, taking a stance as she pointed the Kusanagi blade at its next victim. "You're not the first arrogant blowhard that I've put in their place. And you certainly won't be the last."
"It's Elder Sister VS Elder Sister! Queen VS Queen!" the Watchman of the Gods roared as the tension in the air reached an all-time high. "Will the Queen of Air and Shadow take home another victory for mankind and drown the light of the sun in her darkness? Or shall the Top God of Japan burn away the wickedness of humanity's most terrible witch and avenge the loss of the previous round?!" Heimdall leapt back as far as he could from the two terrifying queens, raising his hands in the air. "East VS West! Light VS Darkness! Sun VS Storms! The thirteenth round of Ragnarok will decide here and now!"
"FIGHT!"

Hey, I just read that other request I made, and I absolutely loved it. Thank you so much!
I've come with another request. It's a cursed female reader x gods. I especially want Poseidon, Hades, Adamas/Adamantine, Odin, Thor and Beelzebub (if you want to put some other god in the mix, feel free to). If possible, and if you want, you could make a whole drama about it.
Reader was a fighter chosen to fight Ragnarok for Humanity. She was known as a woman and a knight with unknown face (except for the Valkyries, she usually wears a helmet/mask), and who had gained the favor of Aphrodite (also knows your face), despite being cursed. She is going to fight one of the gods above, and she's extremely skilled with her weapons (two spears, two swords or a pair of each, you decide). She and the god are trying hard to not get themselves killed, to the point that her helmet/mask falls off, revealing her face, but she doesn't notice it and the god doesn't look at it (I guess a blade to your neck is good to diverge attention). Unfortunately, fight ends in a tie, no one dying.
The god, for some reason, goes after reader (IDK, compliment her skill, ask for a rematch or something), only to discover that everyone is looking for her (Gods, Demon, Humans, Einhejar, everybody, man and woman). The god doesn't understand it and goes to look for either the Valkyries or Aphrodite to ask where reader was and why everyone is after her, and they ask if he hadn't look at her. They could ask what about her face or say they didn't care about it, so they tell god where to find her. God finds her and she tried to run away, much he doesn't allow, and god tells the reason they came after her, which surprises reader, asking if he hadn't come because of the curse. He doesn't understand it and asks why everyone was after her.
Reader explains that she received a blessing from Aphrodite after helping her with something. She couldn't find a partner in life since no man wanted a woman stronger than them, so she gave a blessing that any men or women would fall in love with her. It was meant to help, but the fiancee of her best friend and lord fell in love with her, which prompted her execution for betraying him. This remained with her after death, and it affects even gods, and Aphrodite couldn't take it away, so it would either be with her forever or until she finds a partner, which she doesn't want anymore, given all she's been through.
I want the gods' reaction for the "Search of Reader", they learning of your story and how they felt about you (more like about the whole situation). I would also want their reaction after reader and them become friends (god starts to feel something more), and their reaction to reader's showing their face to them, and maybe some comment that they would usually do mixed with a flirt? (Something like: "No wonder everyone falls in love with you.")
Reader is actually very beautiful (for humans standards), so it wasn't her beauty that got in the way of her love life, it was her "job" as a knight. She's usually quiet, speaks very little, and doesn't speak at all in combat, after her traumatizing death. She's is more relaxed when she's with her friends, talking a bit more, not using her helmet/mask (sure no one she's not close to will come up to them), showing a bit more of emotion, but is her past self with god (after they become close), talking, smiling, laughing more, and talking passionately about her interests and her stories with her knight companions in life.
Ob.: Valkyries, Aphrodite and reader's friend weren't affected because they already loved her, as a friend, so they were immune to the curse.
Sorry, for asking another one so soon, but this one poped up in my head, and wouldn't let me sleep 😅😂🤣
-You were a skilled battle maiden, skilled with set of short spears, to the point where none could fight you and give you what you wanted, a challenge.
-Many knew of your combat skills and found you to be a very respectable person, even some of the gods admired you, but there was one strange thing about you, you never exited your home without your helmet, refusing to show yourself in public.
-Many had questioned it in the past, and you always gave the same answer, “I’m not comfortable doing so.” And most were pretty understandable, but others weren’t, as your figure was stunningly gorgeous, toned and curved in all the right places, your face must be just as beautiful!
-Those who did know, the Valkyries and Aphrodite, about the real reason you hide away, weren’t affected by this curse that was ‘blessed’ upon you so long ago.
-You had helped Aphrodite, finding a group of bandits who had raided one of her temples, and when she appeared before you, asking you what you wanted as a reward, you told her how men were intimidated being with you, as you were stronger than them all, and you wanted to be able to have a man fall in love with you for who you are!
-Aphrodite was young at the time, a bit naïve, and blessed you so that any man or woman who would lay eyes upon you would instantly fall in love!
-This however, was a bad thing, when your best friend, the lord you had proclaimed your life to, had his fiancée leave him for you, prompting your execution, not willing to listen to any of your excuses, damning you as a temptress.
-Once in Valhalla, after dealing with humans and gods hunting you down for your stunning beauty, having to hide out for what felt like years, you went to Aphrodite, begging her to remove the blessing.
-Initially offended, she demanded a reason until she saw it with her own eyes, how you were being chased and hounded by men and women, desiring you for their own. She was remorseful, offering her most sincere apologies, but was unable to remove the blessing, much to your dismay.
-She went with you to see the valkyries, who weren’t affected, as they saw you as a friend, the same as Aphrodite, and they were able to help hide you away, giving you a helmet and you were allowed to live freely, mostly- due to your helmet.
-You got battle strong opponents in Valhalla, having fun, getting what you wanted besides true love, powerful opponents to get a challenge.
-This biggest challenge came in the form of Ragnarok, and Brunnhilde didn’t even hesitate to ask you to fight, and you returned with no hesitation, accepting, as you were hoping to get the biggest challenge of your life!!
-Donning pure white armor with gold features, a gift from Aphrodite as, “You need to look your best!” you entered the arena, cheers ringing out all around you and many were stunned when Aphrodite cheered for you, “Do your best Y/N!”
-Many knew you were female, and with that, you opponent, (God), was quick to underestimate you, a lesson he quickly learned to regret as you proved that you were by no means a weak maiden, you were a warrior- a knight, one with a goal to defend humanity.
-(God) was stunned with your skills, you didn’t give him any chances to think or react, not giving him an inch, and he was quick to strike back, seeing that you were indeed a worthy opponent.
-You swiped upwards, catching his weapon as it hit your helmet hard, knocking off but neither you nor him cared, you were having way too much fun as you managed to leg sweep him as you took his weapon, holding it to his chin.
-The stadium was stunned silent, seeing that you drew one of the strongest gods in Valhalla to a draw, as it was announced as a draw. You were content, as you had never had such a battle before you heard voices shouting out your name.
-You turned in horror, eyes wide as you realized you were unmasked and you quickly took off running to the backstage area, unable to grab your helmet as it had been destroyed.
-You needed to find something to hide your face and find somewhere to hide as the valkyries were quick to start running interference, along with Aphrodite who commanded to golems to make a wall of the suitors now rushing to you.
-(God) looked around, confused as to why everyone seemed to be going bonkers, approaching your valkyrie partner, Goll, “What is going on?” she was shocked that he wasn’t affected, looking a bit apprehensive, “Didn’t you see Y/N’s face?” his question was a bit confused, “Yeah she was attractive for a human, but why is everyone chasing her.”
-Goll calmed, seeing that he wasn’t affected, and she gave him the short version, that if someone was to look at your face, they would fall instantly in love with you. Aphrodite and the valkyries weren’t affected because they all respected you as a friend.
-He lifted a hand to his lips, a soft hum leaving him, “Maybe that’s why I’m not affected. I never knew a human- let alone a woman, was going to give me such a challenge. I have to respect her for that. Do you know where she might be?”
-Goll shook her head, looking a bit upset, “No- usually when this happens she will run and hide until she can sneak home and lay low there until the effects of the curse wears off.”
-He stunned Goll by thanking her, before she beamed brightly and went to help her sisters and Aphrodite. He took her example and headed off to find you, only not as enthusiastically as the others chasing after you.
-(God) surprisingly was the first to find you, finding you in a quiet room sitting on the ground beside a couch, partially hidden from view and you instantly glared over at him, “I’m not interested!”
-He grinned lightly at your bite, “I am, where did you learn to fight?” his question stunned you and blinked, which made him grin only slightly before he took a seat away from you, giving you your space, something you appreciated.
-You could tell he wasn’t affected, because there were other strong gods out there who were acting like lunatics, but (God) was different, but that didn’t mean you trusted him.
-The two of you sat and just talked for a while, he learned a bit more about the curse you had been blessed with, he learned more about your past, that your romantic life took the back seat to your duty as a knight, showing him that you were honorable and hardworking, and all you wanted was someone to love you, naturally and not like how the idiots outside were acting.
-(God) learned you were quiet about yourself, only mentioning small details, unless if it was about your time as a knight, then your eyes were sparkling and bright, talking more and showing more of your bright smile and warm personality.
-Aphrodite busted in, holding a new helmet, “Y/N?!” she initially panicked, seeing (God) there until you stood, assuring her that for some reason, he was affected. Aphrodite was a bit curious about this as well, giving you your helmet as (God) explained, “I think it’s because I respect you as a warrior, and not just a woman.”
-This made sense and Aphrodite turned to (God), “Can I entrust my friend to you to get her home safely?” he was surprised to hear this, hearing the relationship you had with the goddess of beauty, but he agreed.
-Aphrodite told the two of you that she and the valkyries have all of the suitors running around on wild goose chases, giving you a clear path away from the arena, which you thanked her for, and you headed out.
-Once far enough away you lifted the guard, showing off a bit of your face as you walked with the sea god, “Thank you for doing this for me.” he looked aloof, glancing over before smirking softly, “It’s the duty of a king to protect the fair maiden, even if she can protect herself.” You quickly closed the face guard, your face blazing red which made him actually laugh, surprising you before you smiled gently, “You look really good when you smile.” If he was surprised by your compliment he didn’t show it as the two of you talked about random things, as he wanted to know more about your fighting style. Once at your home, he took your hand, as you had removed all your armor back at the arena, kissing the back of it, “Until next time, Y/N.” you were stunned by his reaction, luckily he couldn’t see your bright red face as he walked off.
-Poseidon, Beelzebub, and Odin
-You sighed softly once away from all the crowds and he grinned, “You must be tired from being so beautiful, right?” the sound you made was inhuman, which made him roar with laughter, thinking your shy reaction was adorable while you pouted lightly, “Don’t tease me like that!” but that just made him laugh even harder. You don’t remember the last time you had been complimented about your looks sincerely, not by someone under the effect of the curse, it felt rather nice. Once at your house you removed your helmet after he asked you too and your cheeks were still a bit red from his flirt and he smiled gently, “I wonder if the curse will break the more I fall for you.” Your face flushed red again and he grinned, before telling you he would come and find you later and you waved him off, in a slight daze about his words.
            -Hades and Adamas
-For the most part, the journey home was uneventful, you returned to your conversation about using dual weapons, as you had always done so, forgoing a shield in exchange for a second spear, which you had proved you could block with. A shout was then heard, “Y/N~ don’t run from me!!” you turned and saw a mob of people who had spotted you and you went to run before he picked you up princess style and quickly took off, sprinting away. You were able to lose the crowd as you made it to your house, hiding in the backyard and you removed your helmet, a sigh leaving you. He grinned down at you, “Why so red faced?” you twiddled your fingers together shyly, looking away from him, “It’s not often that something built like me gets carried like a princess.” He boomed with laughter which made you pout up at him before he surprised you by pecking your cheek and standing, “I’ll draw them away and come back later. See ya, Y/N.” you were stunned stiff, like a statue, in complete shock that he had kissed you.

like honestly why bother spending so much time building a character up as “an ascian in all but name” & telling us he’s immortal just to end up saying “well you both punched each other very hard in a different dimension so now he’s dead”

Lifetimes.
The sound of the bell dinging signaled the start of the start of the fight that people had been wanting to see for over a year now.
A fierce rematch between the undefeated Lu Bu and the one who wanted to take his spot (Name).
Both men were fierce MMA boxers and were just as fierce rivals.
The crowd cheered for either fighter to win, some cheered for both and while the crowd and the world watched them fight either in their seats or on television no one knew that the two men were more than just rivals but lovers.
Last year the match boxing match between the two while it was a fierce competition Lu Bu was the victor. Even so, Lu Bu knew a great fighter when he fought one and while he didn’t know it at the time he would fall in love with him. A rivalry into turned into friendship turned into lovers.
In the ring the two fighters dodged and punched each other as the crowd cheered and the announcer hyped up the crowd. (Name) always had a tough time trying to take down the giant muscles man but while he did his best to take down the undefeated Lu Bu he enjoyed watching Lu Bu’s smile while fighting.
The same could be said for Lu Bu.
Fighting his lover was a bit of a challenge for him as he fought the urge to hold back sometimes but he knew his lover and knew he could take it. Thinking to himself he would just be gentle with him later and while he thought of this Lu Bu received a punch to the face sending him backwards and landing on his butt.
The crowd was silent for awhile before they erupted in a cheer as the announcer too got over his amazement and continued to hype the crowd. While rubbing his nose Lu Bu had a single thought and that was, “That’s my boyfriend alright.”
“Come on. Try and hit me again.”
Lu Bu really was in love with the man standing infront of him with that smile that he loved so much and of course his battle stance. The undefeated champion loved everything about (Name) and (Name) loved him as well.
This wasn’t their first time in love.
Long before television and modern society, in ancient China the sky had split open by the swing of the “Flying General” Lu Bu all for his former rival warrior friend and current lover who was stunned at the wonder amazing sight of what just occurred.
“See? I told you I could it.”
Lu Bu calmly spoke with a hint of teasing in his voice as (Name) smiled and decided to tease him back thinking Lu Bu didn’t have a name in mind.
“And what do you call this move of yours?”
Casually tossing the hilt of his halberd down Lu Bu then smoothly and gently kissed his lover’s lips and while it was only for a second it was something (Name) would never forget.
“Sky Eater.”
