This spring ride (a vintage McDonalds Fish Fry) is near the student union at Reed College in Portland. It has a memorial plaque on its head (its bun?), dedicated to Rupert J. Page, 1970-2016.

I didn’t know Rupert, and still don’t know much about him except that he was a forensic scientist who died in a motorcycle accident. I do know that I absolutely love this memorial, and like the guy a ton as a result.

As the plaque says, he was a scientist, gentleman, & lover of life. Ride on, Rupert!
