Met Gala 2024!
Hello!
Yes I'm still alive but as always fashion has been a little quiet lately (plus I've been playing way too much Fortnite, Palia and defending female gamers from hate on Twitter) anyway I just want to remind everyone that the Met Gala is NEXT WEEK. The theme is "The Garden of Time" and will be held on May 6th in New York City, so you know what that means right?
It's time for me to get super opinionated on what everyone wears, who nailed the theme and who didn't. So with less than a week to go, who does everyone hope to see attending the Met Gala (Taylor Swift is not attending) and wearing what? Do you think we'll see the usual celebrity show up in a run of the mill haute couture gown or actually go all in with the theme.

The 2024 Met Gala will be held on May 6th 2024 and the theme is “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion”
The exhibit will focus on reviving the “sleeping beauties” of the museum’s archive, pieces that haven’t been displayed in many years. The exhibit will use various forms of technology to bring the pieces back to life, most of which are too fragile to be worn again.

Hiii Gina, how are you? I also think H doesn't go to the Met. But in the last few months he has done things I never thought he would do. They are sold as a fashionable couple, so it would make a lot of sense for him to go with her, and walk the red carpet
Meh. I don’t know. He honestly doesn’t need to be sold as fashionable. He’s already thought of as a fashion trend setter. Maybe he’d go if he wants to do something with SS Daley since he’s investing in that brand. But otherwise, the only one that needs the exposure is her. And since he’s not actually her boyfriend, she can very easily go alone.
I could eat my words in a couple of weeks, but as long as he’s not promoting anything, I don’t see a reason for him to go.

Honorary chairs are Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew.

Truly disappointed in Simone because why did she eat more at a movie premiere then at first time at the met? why is she and phoebe wearing afterpaty dresses there at the met gala when that’s not the time for it or place?
