After I Met That Catgirl a unique style of RPG adventure
After I Met That Catgirl, My Questlist Got Too Long! RPG games coming to Windows, but also has Linux support in mind. Thanks to developer Rascal Devworks. Who are creating a sexy RPG coming Steam. We reached out, since the Kickstarter campaign is now live with a €7,000 pledge goal.
After I Met That Catgirl, My Questlist Got Too Long! is the longest RPG name. But also inspired by retro classics. Which also includes a strong anime aesthetic. Plus visual novel style of presentation. Naturally I inquired about Linux support.
"The game is developed using RPG Maker MV. The demo itself won't have a Linux release. But we are considering it for the full game. Wwe don't have the means to test compatibility. Linux players might still be able to play it thanks to Steam's Proton integration."
Since this is an interesting reply. There are issues around testing After I Met That Catgirl, My Questlist Got Too Long!. Which I have replied via email. Outlining the Steam Discussions FAQ. Since the developers expect inquires. But also places for developers to interact with the community (aka Reddit).
But the mention of Proton is interesting. Meaning, the Demo should work. Hence adding a non-Steam game, etc. And testing the Windows build should prove gameplay, interesting.

So after a fateful meeting with a catgirl. Who also claims to come from another world. They form a guild and need to run it against all odds. While slaying monsters and completing quests. Exploring the vast Kingdom of Ostmoor. While developing your bond with a colorful cast of companions. Vera is ready for romance and adventure.

The first 4 in-game days of this month-long adventure. That's around 10% of the completed game
Full-fledged RPG with questing, exploration and combat
VN-style story progression with auto-saving and skipping functions

After I Met That Catgirl, My Questlist Got Too Long! is available to Wishlist on Steam. The Kickstarter campaign launches today, so I will update this post. With a demo available for Windows PC. But Linux support is in the cards too.
