Sideblog shenanigans

Love the attitude I have towards my sideblog's Tumblr community vs the Twitter community.
When I look at RA, I'm always fondly scrolling through the tags and laughing at people's reactions or jokes, meanwhile when I look at Twitter I'm like:
"So help me god you WILL all be polite and well-behaved or else."
#i talk#I already sent one person to the void for a weird comment (“joke”) about one of the girls#Back when I worked with kids (and college students) I feel like I was firm but fair#and I was always the favorite teacher / assistant#whenever I open RA's Twitter I definitely do feel that teacher mentality rear its head#sideblog shenanigans#...was that my tag for it#well I haven't used it in 4 years but might as well use it now#Anyways it's really nice using RA's Twitter because I literally just open the app post stuff then close it#and I also literally ONLY follow CCs so that's also very helpful#I do very light moderation just to make sure no one's trying to pick a fight with anyone but that's about all I do#I did however have someone inform me of some very unfortunate stuff when I last opened RA to post stuff and I'm like ah. cool. that sucks#didn't want to know that but thanks#* today

Hey skyjacks listeners! If you're itching to hear more about speir (and more of that incredible song at the end of 179) and you haven't listened to it already, I highly recommend skyjacks: courier's call! Don't think that just because it's all ages means that it isn't as funny, thrilling, dramatic, and high-stakes as the main campaign. It introduces cool new lore to the world of speir and gives you fun new characters to fall in love with.
Aside from the first few episodes, they're all about half an hour long, and there's only around fifty episodes, so don't be intimidated by fear of starting a very long listen. On top of that, there are really fun tales from thornvale interspersed with the story episodes, which tell tales of adventures all over speir (and I'm not even exaggerating, my favorite story from the world of Skyjacks is one of these).
I genuinely think that if anyone enjoys skyjacks or anything about speir, you'll love courier's call

Catra:
Catra from She-Ra and the Princesses of Power possesses several Byronic qualities: pride, cynicism, a Dark and Troubled Past, emotional conflict, a charismatic presence, and her love for Adora is what officially kicks in her redemption arc.
C.C.:
A third example is C.C. As a young girl, she was unable to experience true love thanks to the Geass bestowed upon her, and she was later cursed with a Code that sent her through centuries of torture. All this tragedy left her a Broken Bird and Empty Shell by the present day. After giving Lelouch his Geass, she makes it clear that she sticks with him for her own reasons (namely, getting rid of her Code so that she can finally die), but she regains her humanity through her interactions with him.

Oh in case some of you aren’t in the loop apparently the DSMP had a finale fuck up on a Supernatural-Voltron-GameofThrones magnitude so here’s hoping it’s over for good.

I want to fistfight certain CCs behind a Walgreens for reasons ranging from fun to unethical#prayer circle that v2 never gets off the ground. that was not the ending the characters or community deserved. what a mess.#plus the conspiracy that things were changed last minute bc of the <Current Events> like 👀 yeh no fuck off w that shit ending my canon now#even if it isn’t The Conspiracy I have a hard time believing the finale is the way it is bc that’s how Tommy wanted it. there is definitely#some outside influence on the writing here it’s so damn inconsistent w what we’ve seen he’s capable of#and y’know maybe the exile arc was a fluke maybe he misread the community’s feelings on his character#but ehhh idk I just have a hard time thinking things went down Like That and it was the finale as intended
