so i have this question stuck in my head for a while now Is there any ships i know that Alice x bendy is Canon also mugs x Cala is canon to but that’s all I know for now i guess you don’t have to answered this :]

Well, we have Mugman x Cala Maria, Mickey x Minnie, Donald x Daisy, and Dovil x Puphead. The couples that have broken up are Red x Avery and Betty x Bimbo. Will-they-won’t-they pairs are Alice x Bendy and Felix x Oswald.

And of course the cursed couple. Fanny and Brute.

And everything could change. Anything is possible.

Anyone on the discord can tell you that I rant and rave about the relationships in my story. I’m not confident in my romance writing. Not at all. That being said I am confident in my characters and their own reasoning. I do what makes sense to a character in the mental state they are at. That might mean it makes no sense to other characters but to that one character and their thought process, it does.

So what that means is I have no clue how the relationships will go in IM. The quest’s success or failure does not depend on whether Alice and Bendy get together or not. Felix will be amazing whether he dates Oswald or not. Cup will still be Cup whether he gets a girlfriend or not. Are there feelings between characters that I and Mercowe are aware of? Yes! Absolutely! We mess with them often and want to figure them out! Does that mean it’ll work out? We have as much of a guess as you do. I don’t really have it planned out. Any relationship drama that happens is us just figuring out how characters feel and them interacting.

I know we aren’t going to force anything. We aren’t going to do the Hollywood thing where “of course they end up together” tropes and so on. That means anything is possible. Anything. Maybe Cala and Mugs break up (that would be so sad! My heart! 💔) Maybe Cup and Holly get together. Maybe Felix and Oswald date. Maybe Alice decides an angel would be better for her. I don’t know! But M and I have already changed things a few times because a character says “Imma do this.” And they do and we are thrown for a very unexpected loop.

It makes this both exciting and terrifying. We don’t have a plan for any couple sticking together for good. We have hopes for several, but it’s no promise. The story has already changed and grown so much and it’ll continue to do so until the end.

Sorry if that’s confusing. The short answer is me shrugging.
