In Nabbit's description on the New Super Mario Bros Deluxe website it says he is neither friend nor foe, and that it's a mystery on why he follows the Mario Bros around. In Super Mario Wonder a description for Nabbit shows up that mentions he is neither ally nor enemy, and that he's keeping an eye on Mario and friends. We also know there is a secret Purple Toad House in New Super Mario Bros Deluxe. In it we see a board recording information, and in the background items, flags, blocks among other things litter the house. There is also imagery that looks like Nabbit on the walls alongside his bags he uses to steal stuff with. Not to mention the house being a purple one like Nabbit is. In the opening scene for Wonder Nabbit followed everyone to the Flower Kingdom. What is Nabbit up to?

A bit more progress made on my purple harlequin toad drawing. Still tons more to do.
