hey fyi you can't ""reclaim"" something that hasn't been used to hurt you. you can't ""reclaim"" something just because you don't like the coiner. ive been seeing anti endos do this and like. just use the term? you can't exactly stop people from using your terms, so there's literally nothing stopping you. i use terms from people i dont like all the time

So I've been thinking about this for a while

I would really really REALLY appreciate it if, y'know, people let artists draw in a comfortable style they choose.

Not every artist want to follow the style in any media for many reasons, but for me, and maybe a few other artists, I cannot draw like the creators, I can't 'copy' their way of drawing a character.

Why do you think artists draw little differences in a character's appearance?

Let artists draw how they want to character or something, and please stop leaving comments that say "I'm glad you stay consistent with [insert character] unlike everybody-" Please don't say that, why would you say that? So everybody needs to draw this character the same way? I LIKE the creativity and variety in seeing a character drawn in a different style, what is your excuse?? You don't like it?? Fine, ignore it. Block it from your tags, skip over it, and just let people draw what makes them feel good about their way of drawing it.

I'm... very on the fence about that, I haven't been the biggest fan of the creative and story changes of the remakes, I'd hate to see a Piers that loses the essence of who he was and is unrecognizable and have them change and ruin his dynamic with Chris. I also think we had enough RE remakes for at least 2 decades...

On the other hand, I would live for a second coming of Nivanfield that a remake would spark, no one would be ready.
