Why do you think Satine (a pacifist who encourages diplomacy) did not try talking to them? @soliloquy-of-nemo
In "The Academy" Satine has wants the kids taught that "It's every citizen's duty to challenge their leaders, to keep them honest, and hold them accountable if they're not."
In "Voyage of Temptation" Satine tells Obi-Wan that "Even extremists can be reasoned with." If she doesn't consider Death Watch extremists, I don't know who would qualify. This suggests she still has hope for a peaceful outcome with them.
In "Duchess of Mandalore" we learn that Death Watch cannot take over Mandalore without the "will of the people" which is part of the many pieces of evidence that Satine's pacifist rule is favoured by the majority of Mandalorians. We also get "They are not powerful enough to destabilize our government. We will resolve this without conflict." and "The Mandalorian government holds no secrets from its people." Does any of this sound like a dictator who refuses to seek a peaceful mediation with her enemies?
I mention that Satine's pacifist rule is favoured because in that episode she also tellingly states that "You would trample our right to self-determination." about a Republic occupation. We don't know if Mandalore is a democracy (I have trouble picturing them at the voting booth, but who knows) but what Satine represents is an attempt to decentralize power (she has a Prime Minister, a Council, does not call herself Mand'alor which seems to be an old-fashioned power grab move of ultimate rule when others do it.) Satine is a strong leader with a clear vision, but she doesn't wish to rule with an iron fist: she wants Mandalore to develop naturally into a people who choose non-violence. This is why we see her care so much about education of the youth, and that those youth be taught that it's morally correct to hold your government accountable and fight corruption everywhere it appears.
In "The Lawless" it's clear Bo Katan and Satine haven't spoken in some time, and we're told "There was a time when we weren't enemies." Are we to assume that even when they were still sisters who spoke, Satine never tried to explain or communicate her ideas to Bo Katan? That they never had debates, never tried to compromise?
And compromise is a tricky word, because to believe that they could have just talked it out, you have to fundamentally fail to understand what Death Watch are fighting for. What compromise do you think they wanted? They believe in 'might makes right.' They believe the strongest should rule Mandalore, and that they should return to the glory days of warfare past. To let ol' Pre tell it:
"We are the Death Watch, descendants of the true warrior faith all Mandalorians once knew. Now my people are living in exile because we will not abandon our heritage. Our people were warriors. Strong. Feared! Now they're ruled by the New Mandalorians who think that being a pacifist is a good thing. They've given away our honor and tradition for peace. Duchess Satine and her corrupt leadership are crushing our souls, destroying our identity. That is our struggle."
Does this sound like a guy who's gonna compromise on some things? Say, "Jeez, Satine, I agree we should stop bombing each other but hey can't we have a little conquest, as a treat?" It's not like Mandalore was wholly demilitarized. Satine has guards. We see armor and weapons. She believes in a person's right to defend themselves. What Vizla wants is for them to be active combatants -- to be "feared" and to reject peace. They are, frankly, fascists, and saying Satine could have found common ground with them suggests that they have a point, and they don't. What they want is fundamentally morally corrupt, and it is a credit to Satine that she continued to strive for peaceful resolutions with them in order to not betray her own ideals, but never gave in to their demands.
Also they're a terrorist group composed of a small minority of the population called Death Watch who are shown to favour assassination, torture, DROID torture (?!), abuse of captives, militarized occupation of civilian populations, bombings, etc., etc. ... I'm pretty sure the writers didn't create them to represent a reasonable opposition, the way they sometimes did with the "heroes on both sides" of the galactic war.

“bo-katan never wanted maul [on Mandalore] to begin with, not sure if you watched the show, it was kind of pre-vizla's plan that went wrong”
Bo-Katan, on bringing Maul to Mandalore, in the show:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yeah, these two f*ckwits didn’t plan on Maul staying there once they were done using him.
Yeah, Bo-Katan didn’t want Maul ruling Mandalore.
The both of them only wanted to bring a Sith Lord to their home planet to reinstate the honorable might-makes-right way of picking a leader, and they were too f*cking stupid to see how that was inevitably going to backfire and blow up right in their faces.
(Spoilers: the mighty Sith Lord kicked their ass and legitimately ended up leader per the rules they reinstated using him)

Cute, For An Older Guy (Kaisergram) - Shortfic
Explicit // M/M // Kaisergram - Will Graham/Duncan Vizla/The Black Kaiser (Polar) // Tagged: AU, retired Duncan, pre-canon Will, kinda AU Will, age difference, older man/younger man, daddy kink, bratty Will, bar hook-up, frottage, rutting, lap sex, coming in pants. Patreon Prompt Fill.
Duncan meets young Will at a bar...
Second installment on my @hannibalbingo card: "You're Cute For An Older Guy" (Polar)
Cute, For An Older Guy (2.2k words):
“Buy me a drink, daddy?”
It took Duncan a moment to realise that the young man standing next to him at the bar was talking to him. And young man was being generous, he wasn’t sure this kid was even legally old enough to drink.
Duncan huffed and turned back to the bar.
“Please?” It was almost a whine, and Duncan could feel him hovering at his elbow.
Without looking back to him, Duncan huffed again and replied, “You even old enough to drink?”
“I’m twenty two,” the young man laughed, a gentle tinkle that made Duncan shiver.
Duncan turned to look at him, studying his face. Maybe it was the light, because he’d still swear the kid wasn’t a day over nineteen, though something about his smirk made him look older, at least more worldly. Maybe it was the ‘daddy’ bit.
“If you’re twenty two, surely you can buy your own drink,” Duncan’s tone was no nonsense as he turned to the bar again. But the persistent young man didn’t give up. Instead he pulled up the stool next to Duncan and sat down, leaning in to speak to him.
“I can, but I like to be spoiled.”
Duncan swallowed, he was getting fucking hard whether he liked it or not. He hadn’t planned on this tonight. Just another quiet night in Triple Oak. If he wanted sex he’d go to one of his regulars in one of the many cities he travelled through for work.
Maybe that was why he was hard? It had been a while. He’d been content settling into the quiet way of life here. Being a man he’d never imagined he could be.
“Why me? Plenty of other prospects in here,” Duncan pressed, not bothering to look around to see if his claim was true. This place wasn’t exactly full of queer folk, and he wasn’t even sure why this kid would assume he was one of those few.
The young man leaned closer, his chest against Duncan’s arm as he muttered next to his ear, “You’re cute for an older guy, you look hot in those glasses. And, besides… I can tell you’re dangerous. I like dangerous men.”
Duncan drew back at that and studied him.
“I’m not dangerous,” he countered immediately.
There was another light laugh and then the boy’s hand was running lightly down his back.
“The way you sit, the tightness here,” his hand glided just to the left of Duncan’s spine where he’d been stabbed years before. “You may hide it well under your clothes, but your body has been broken and healed more times than I’ve had hot dinners.”
Duncan shuddered as the hand moved lightly over him, finding more healed wounds; another stab, two bullet holes.
“You a psychic or something?” Duncan asked warily. This kid didn’t strike him as a criminal but he clearly knew something about violence.
“Something like that,” the young man chuckled again. “You gonna buy me a drink?” He asked again.

Tumblr media
The rest of my week off passed uneventfully. I spent my days in Maul’s quarters on his days off, only to return to mine late at night or when he actually went to his office for the day. I’m sure I could have stayed the night if I had asked but I didn’t want to overstep or overextend my stay. In the past, I had only stayed because we were having sex to get pregnant, and now that I was, there didn’t seem to be a need for me to stay anymore.
Today was my first day back was today and I was lucky I was feeling much better. I got dressed and went over to the kettle and began making mine and Maul’s cup of tea. However, as they were steeping I caught a whiff of it and my stomach began churning. In an instant, I grabbed one of the mugs and dumped it out. I would still bring Maul his but wouldn’t be bringing any for myself.
While walking to his office, I tried my best not to breathe in through my nose, not wanting the smell to make me any more nauseous than I already was. Upon walking into Maul’s office i was taken aback when I saw Qi’ra already there.
“Good morning, Lady Yn. How are you?”
I knew this was his subtle way of asking if I was having any morning sickness or if I was having another headache.
“I am well, how about yourself?” I asked with a smile as I approached the desk.
“Better now that I’ll have my tea… why only one mug? Don’t tell me you have forgotten about my tea, Yn.” He teased as if Qi’ra wasn’t right there.
“I would never,” I held the mug out for him to take, “I just wasn’t really feeling like having a cup of tea this morning.” I said, hoping he would get the hint.
I am assuming he did, seeing as he took the mug from me with a small nod. I took my seat as and gave Qi’ra a polite nod in acknowledgment.
“Okay, are there any questions before we begin?” Maul asked.
“No, we’re ready to begin, Lord Maul.” Qi’ra said quickly, without even glancing at me to confirm.
“Actually, I did.”
Maul nodded for me to continue.
“I glanced over the schedule for the week and I believe that something was forgotten in my absence.” I explained.
My words had just barely left my mouth before Qi’ra was interjecting, “I can assure you nothing was forgotten. I made the schedule myself.”
“Well, that would explain why it was forgotten then.” I shot back before turning to Maul once again, “The anniversary of you becoming Mand'alor is coming up in about 4 weeks.” I reminded him.
Maul thought for a moment before nodding, “You’re right it is.”
“And there is nothing in preparation for it on the schedule. It’s a huge, multiday event we need to start doing that now or it’ll be a shitshow.” I said truthfully.
Although my life on Mandalore was filled with negativity, I could not deny that it was where I came from. When Maul defeated Pre Vizla and became Mand’alor, it was the best day of my life. I had told him of the Darksaber in the first place. He has even said it himself, that if it wasn’t for me he would have never gotten that far. So the celebration was still a big deal to me. The first celebration had been held on Mandalore and was filled with Mandalorian traditions that have continued on through the years.
“Well, it’s a gala, it can’t be that hard to prepare for.” Qi’ra said.
“It’s not just a gala, Qi’ra. There’s a lot of details that go into it that can’t just be thrown together.” I tried to explain, but she was starting to piss me off.
“Well, if we’re doing this on such short notice, perhaps some of the details can be skipped. I can have inventory of what’s in the kitchens done and figure out what dishes can be prepared from that. I can have a mass message prepared by this afternoon to go out as invitations.” She began listing off things that she could do.
“Qi’ra, listen to me when I say this. It is not that simple. The details cannot be skipped. There is a certain dinner that must be served. There is a specific guest list. There are traditions for this celebration.” I said.
“Traditions change.” She said smugly.
Before I got the chance to rip her a new one, Maul spoke up and attempted to defuse the situation.
“Lady Qi’ra,” Upon hearing her name she sat up a bit straighter and batted her eyelashes at him as if he was about to take her side, “Listen to Lady Yn. She’s right. This celebration has many traditions that shall be upheld, and not forgotten or changed. And to ensure this, I am putting Lady Yn in charge of it all. You’ll be cleared of all other duties. Whatever you need, you tell me, make the calls and arrangements that need to be made.” I nodded my head.
“First and foremost I’ll need a guest list.” I said.
He nodded, “I’ll get one to you before the end of the day.”
“Excuse me but, Lady Yn is an advisor. What does planning a gala-”
“It’s not a gala.” I snapped.
“Fine, what does a celebration have to do with advising? Isn’t planning more of righthand’s job?” She asked, sending me a sideways glare.
“If it was a normal gala then yes, technically it would be your responsibility. Even with that being said though, you have not planned on for Crimson Dawn as of yet so I would still be having Lady Yn lead the planning while you followed along with her to learn everything that goes into planning an event of this magnitude.” Maul explained.
I for sure thought that would have put her in her place but she was speaking up once again.
“Well, then should I be following her as she plans for this gal- celebration?” She asked.
“Lady Qi’ra, you need to listen better when I speak. Did I tell you to follow her as she plans this particular celebration?”
“No.”
“Then, no. I do not want you to. Lady Yn is from Mandalore, she understands why we have the traditions that we do at this celebration, she is more than capable of doing this on her own. Do you understand?”
“Yes, my apologies, Lord Maul.” She hung her head slightly.
We continued the meeting, discussing how to split my duties up among the other lower advisors.
“Okay, Vapex can take…” Qi’ra said looking over her datapad.
“Actually, can we leave him off as well so I can use him to assist me?” I asked, looking to Maul for approval.
Vapex was from Mandalore. He moved to Dathomir at the same time I did and has been an advisor for as long as I could remember.
“Yes, that should be fine.” Maul said.
“I can help her.” Qi’ra suggested and I actually rolled my eyes this time. How was she not getting the hint?
“Qi’ra where are you from again?” I asked.
“Corellia…” She was confused by my sudden question.
“Corellia… so not Mandalore?”
“No. What does this have to do with anything?”
Her attitude made me snap and became a bit condescending as I explained it to her.
“This celebration is to honor Maul and is for the anniversary of him being Mand'alor, it is rooted in Mandalorian culture. A Corellian cannot plan a Mandalorian celebration. It must be done by a Mandalorian if it's to be done right. I grew up on Mandalore. I know both the warrior and unfortunately the pacifist side of Mandalorians, you know nothing-”
“I actually kno-” She tried to interject.
“You know nothing about us, Qi’ra!” I raised my voice.
I took a deep breath to compose myself.
“For as long as I am here, I will be the one planning this celebration. Not you. Understand?” I asked.
Qi’ra was clearly in shock at the way I just spoke to her. She glanced over to Maul to see how he was reacting. He slimy grasped his hands together as his eyes shifted from each of us, waiting for her to answer.
“I understand.” She said.
“Good.” I mumbled just as Maul began speaking.
“I think this is a good place to end the meeting. Lady Qi’ra, go on and begin distributing the schedules for the week to everyone. Lady Yn, if you can spare the time and stay for a bit so we can discuss a few things for the celebration?”
“Of course.” I said.
Qi’ra said her goodbyes to Maul and completely ignored me as she gathered herself and left the office.
“That was unexpected.” Maul said, slight amusement in his tone.
“I am so sorry, Maul… I honestly have no idea what came over me. She just really got under my skin and the next thing I knew I was yelling at her. I don’t know what happened.” I said.
“Well dear,” he began, “You are roughly 7 weeks pregnant at this point, mood swings are to be expected.” He said.
“Holy shit, Maul… I’m going to end up killing her before this baby gets here.” I was only half joking.
Maul laughed, shaking his head, “I would appreciate it if you didn’t. It took me long enough to find a decent right hand, besides you of course.”
“I’ll try.”
“Anyways, I wanted to discuss the celebration some.” He said, changing topics.
I nodded for him to continue.
“I want to tell them the truth, love. They and you deserve it.” He said, but I shook my head.
“Maul, it was an accident.” I insisted.
We have had this conversation many times. He wasn’t technically Mand'alor. I was. It was a freak accident. So much so that I had insisted that since he had been the only witness that it didn’t matter, but he knew better. So instead we agreed he’d continue to be the face of Mand'alor,  but all decisions were made by me.
“No it wasn’t. The universe didn’t see me fit to be Mand’alor, so it gave you possession of the Darksaber. It’s yours, and I think it’s time to let that be known.”
I sighed.
“If we did that, what would that mean for everything else? Would I stay your advisor?”
“Of course. Like I have, you’d wear both caps.”
“Wouldn’t that be a conflict of interests then?” I was worried about what the other leading members of Crimson Dawn would have to say.
“It hasn’t been considered one for me, so it shouldn't be for you.”
“Yes, but you’re the leader here, Maul. It’s different. They have respect for you.”
Maul leaned forward a bit, “Yn, they have the same respect for you whether you see it or not. Need I remind you, you ran Crimson Dawn in my absence. They know you’re capable of leading, they hold the same respect for you as they do for me. And if for some reason they don’t, and they have an issue with it, I’ll deal with them, I promise.”
He never broke his promises, and I knew he wouldn’t break this one either. Maul has “dealt” with people for me before, it usually ends with a lightsaber through the chest.
I slowly began nodding, “Okay… I’m ready to do it then.”
“Good… now go on and get started with planning. If you need anything from me, let me know.” He before standing up and walking around to the other side of the desk as I stood as well.
When I got to my and Qi’ra’s office, Vapex was already waiting for me.
“Good morning, Yn.” He greeted me.
“Good morning, Vapex. We have a lot of work to do and not a lot of time to do it.” I said, opening the door for us.
“I’m ready to work. I brought a few holodisc that we can set up and help us visualize everything.” He said, smiling.
“What are you two doing?” Qi’ra asked, looking up from her datapad.
“Getting to work on the celebration.” I said as if it were obvious, which it should have been.
“Can’t you do this somewhere else? I am trying to work.”
“Qi’ra, were working as well. This is my office as well, sometimes you’re going to have to deal with the fact that I am working with someone in our office.” I said before turning around and getting to work with Vapex.
By the time the end of the day rolled around, Vapex and I had gotten quite a bit done. The menu was made, including drinks, Maul had sent us the guest list, decor had been selected and we had begun work on the layout of the ballroom for the event.
“Lets call it here. We got a lot done. I will discuss with Maul the deviation of colors for everyone. We can start with that tomorrow morning. Sound good?” I asked as I began turning stuff off and gathering my things.
“Sounds perfect. I’ll get the menue to the cooking droids so they can inventory what they have and what they need. Then hopefully they can get a list to Qi’ra within the next two days to get it ordered in time.” He said.
“Wonderful, I’ll see you tomorrow.” I said before he got up and left.
I stood and stretched before checking the time, Maul should still be in office.
“I’m heading out for the night. Make sure you turn out the lights before you leave.” I said as I began walking to the door that connected our office to Maul’s.
“I thought you were leaving?”
“I am, but I need to speak with Maul.” I said.
“Well so do I.”
“Okay, you’re also still working. Just finish with that and then go speak with him, or tomorrow.” I said.
“I want to speak to him before you can because it’s about you.”
“What about me?” I asked, clrosing my hands over my chest.
“About how unprofessional your little blowup was this morning. You had no right to speak to me like that.”
“I only did that because I was defending my people… You know the village south of the compound?” I asked.
She nodded.
“The population is right around 300 individuals, do you know where they came from?”
“Arer they not Dathomrian?”
“No. They’re from Mandalore. During The Siege of Mandalore, Maul was captured, but before he was he gave instructions. He told me to come here to Dathomir and rule Crimson Dawn until he returned. The Mandalorian people that were loyal to Maul because he was Mand'alor were told to trust me and to follow me if something were to happen to him. They trusted me to get them somewhere safe. And I did. I brought them here with me and set them up in the village. They have been living there ever since. I help make sure that they have everything they need, that they’re protected. They put their trust in me to uphold Mandalorian traditions even though they are so far from home, and I intend to do just that. So if you’re going to come here and threaten to take that away from them, I will defend them. Do you understand?”
I took her silence as a yes before I turned around and walked through the door into Maul’s office.
“I’m not interrupting am I?” I asked gently once the door was shut behind me, I had already told him I’d be coming over once Vapex and had finished and he assured me that I could come over at anytime.
“Not at all,” He said, setting down his datapad, “Is everything alright?”
“Yeah… I was just thinking about the colors for everyone.” I said as I plopped into one of the chairs in front of his desk.
“Okay, well you’ve always been in charge of selecting those. What seems to be giving you trouble this time?”
“So, tha Mand'alor always has their own color, I was going to do burgundy.”
“Lovely choice.”
“Thank you. But the Mand'alor always has a right hand that wears their own color as well that compliments the Mand'alor. I was always considered your right hand when you were Mand'alor. So now, if were announcing me as the true Mand'alor, I need a right hand. And I mean this with all the offence possible, but I don’t want it to be Qi’ra.” I said.
“Well, you can appoint whoever you’d like. Perhaps Vapex, the two of you get along quite well, he helped advise on Mandalore, he would be a good pick.” Maul suggested.
I shook my head before giving him a small smile.
“Despite the fact that you didn’t pick me to be your right hand for Crimson Dawn,” I began with a teasing tone, “I would like to ask you to be my right hand as I take on the role of Mand'alor. I trust you the most, we already work together on most Mandalorian matters, it just makes sense.”
“Yn, I would be honnored.” He gave me a smile.
“Good, I’ll send you the dress codes for everyone so you can help me distribute them tomorrow.” I said before standing up.
“Where are you off to?” He asked.
“I am starving. I was going to head to my quarters for dinner.” I said.
“Would you like to come over for dinner? I know it was a long day of planning for you, perhaps we could watch a holofilm and relax some?”
“I would love to.” I smiled.
A knock sounded through his office.
“Yes?” Maul called out to it.
“Lord Maul, it’s me Qi’ra. May I come in?”
Maul raised his hand and used the force to open the door from where he sat.
“Yes, Lady Qi’ra?”
She eyed me up.
“I was hoping I could speak to you before you left for the day?”
“Of course, what about?” Maul said.
“I would prefer us to be alone for this discussion.”
Maul was taken aback by her request but turned his attention to me none the less.
“Lady Yn, go on to my quarters and send for the cooking droids to begin preparing dinner, your choice. I’ll be there as soon as I can.” He said.
“Of course,” I said before turning to leave.
As I passed Qi’ra I stopped, “Try not to keep him too long.” I said with a smirk, knowing it’d get under her skin.
Maul’s PoV
“What is it that you wanted to discuss?” I asked, leaning back in my chair as Qi’ra approached my desk.
“I think you should fire Yn.”
A/n: I hope y'all don't hate this lil plot twist I've added here. It's going to tie in more in the next part STOP READING HERE IF YOU DONT WANT A SMALL SPOILER!!!!!!!!!! its also going to allow us to see a bit of the earlier parts of Maul and Yn relationship

If I have to listen to Bo-Katan go on about mandalorian splinter groups ands cults one more time I'm gonna scream.
Ma'am you were a leading member of Death Watch, a mandalorian splinter group under Pre Vizla who wanted to remove her own sister for power in order to return to the old warrior ways. When that didn't work you let a Sith Lord take over, then got angry when said sith lord killed Pre Vizla and claimed the dark saber/mandalore, so you split death watch in half between you and Maul, then turned to the Repulic and Jedi/Ahsoka to help you oust Maul and retake Mandalore.
And that's just during the clone wars, forget the entire Mandalore plot in rebels.

Thinking about Armorsoka, idk i just think the armorer would love the one that defeated pre vizla when he had the darksaber when she was 15 and killed 4 mandalorians at once and then liberated mandalore from Maul while wearing the iron heart of their culture in her clothes which where beskar too

Mandolinguo: It's Duolinguo, but the threat is real
Have you ever sat down and asked yourself, "What if There Was Duolinguo for Mando’a? What would that even look like?"
Tumblr media
Yeah, something like that. Can't have your prey customers stopping half way through a module now, can you? They really should have read the Terms and Conditions...
In this fic, we have:
Satine Kryze's language kink unwittingly changing the course of the galaxy.
One very excited intern!
One confused and amused Ursa Wren.
"Satine commits cultural genocide" as Death Watch propaganda - shame everyone's listening to it :(
Pre Vizla throwing a tantrum when he can't complete "Mando'a 101". He should have paid more attention as a kid.
And of course, a healthy dose of background Obitine. Just to add some spice to the proceedings.

Is @weekofobitine say "sneak peaks"? ;)
I'm always wanted writing a challenge like not just a seven days and certain topics, but like a single story. And, yeah, finally I can do it! I'm not sure that I will translate this fic for celebrating, because I haven't so much free time, but maybe I doing it later. I also done two small vid, but it's quite difficult to get pieces out of it, so I present a little bit from the third chapter of my fic "My enemy's son".
~~~
Clad in a flowing, off-the-shoulder emerald dress, his ba'vodu stood in the center of the cabin with her back straight and elegantly holding one her hand over the other just below her chest. Towering on her almost on head Obi-Wan Kenobi - incredible, amazing Master Obi-Wan Kenobi - was a meter from her and for some reason didn't look like a soldier or a Jedi, despite his battle-scarred armor and the Order symbol on the pauldron.
Korkie froze, not daring to make any sign of his presence.
All his conscious life there just two of them. Yes, somewhere nearby there were always guardsmen, Kiyar and Mari, undoubtedly occupying special places in her heart, but none of those who could become even closer to her and to him. Occasionally Korkie thought about what would happen if she decided to marry. What would her husband be like? How would he react to him? How would Korkie accept himself a person with whom he would have to share her attention? Could they ever become friends?.. In the past, overwhelmed by admiration for Pre Vizla, sometimes he dreamed that they would get together. With all the childish spontaneity he even arranged for them something like a date a couple of times. However, looking at her and Master Kenobi, he thought that all his attempts to set her up with the Governor were not only boyish stupidity, but also ignorance - unlike her “dates” with Pre Vizla, now, in the semi-darkness of the cabin, he felt something.
Echoes of the Force, breaking through dozens of blocking devices enclosed in a bracelet, trembled like stretched strings. It was impossible to make out what exactly the Force was whispering about - echo was too quiet, completely indistinguishable compared to the wonderful melody that sounded when he took off his bracelet to leave Coronet unnoticed. And yet even a whisper was enough to understand that in front of him not just the Jedi and the Duchess. The temptation to understand the full depth of their connection was so strong that he unconsciously reached for the bracelet, when, suddenly, Obi-Wan Kenobi turned his head sharply in his direction.
