Dirty prompt List #1 with Conner/Dustin or Hunter... or both?

The situation was not ideal, the both of them bound to the tiny area of a fluffy beach towel at the farthest end of the Wind Ninja Academy property, clouds coming in on the horizon promising to soak and chill however was caught out, and only a little bit of foliage to protect them if anyone wandered by. Dustin just would have preferred to take the knot on something softer than a forest floor covered in shaggy cotton. But he wouldn't complain much (for the moment) as Hunter easing into his slick, wet heat seemed to be doing the trick to make his hormones shut the fuck up and cease making his sex organs feel like they were ripping themselves out of him like demons. I've been meaning to make this post for a while

So Power Rangers has 30 years of lore and stuff packed into it and this made me analyze a few things pertaining to the ranger powers.

See every team is different in the sense that their abilities can be labeled into various categories, like some characters using mystical energy or technology but there's a bit more to it. Tokusatsu has a full list of different power sources and it made me think a bit here, btw this is just in a general sense when it comes to ranger powers and not fully the individual ones each of the teams have.

Basically I decided to place them in depending on the themes and overall potential of their powers.

Each team is covered under one of the following five, Technological, Elemental, Spatial/Temporal, Spiritual and Magical

1.)Technlogical powers such as RPM, SPD mainly rely on the usage of advancements and mechanical assets to their abilities. Though however capability wise it's reach stagnates as the tools and powers depend on how advanced the tech is(like if you have futuristic stuff that can access universal energy, can be on par with some top players in the PR multiverse)

2.)Elemental, like in Samurai, Lost Galaxy and Ninja Storm specific rangers in this category can manipulate or even conjure specific aspects of nature at their disposal. In my mind however the capabilities can also be somewhat limitless as the specific way elements are applied factor in( like if fire is associated either creation and light, being able to make life or even spark heat in the universe)

3.) Spatial and Temporal, specifically relating to teams like Time Force. These powers mainly orient around the control of dimensional or time like aspects, from freezing and speeding time, controlling dimensions like the Triassic Dimension with Conner in DT, or just anything you can think of there. This one is definitely up there because there isn't really a limit, I mean Conner controls reality with the triassic shield and time manipulation is already busted. Time Force rangers are a problem in fight match-ups.

4.)Spiritual, my favorite btw. Connects mainly between Wild Force, Jungle Fury and probably Zeo. Spiritual powers such as aura projection like utilizing animal spirits or having abilities attuned to one's soul are a few ways of using this, however depending on the person and overall situations the spirit can do a lot more. Say releasing your inner might and having a strong willpower may result in your abilities being able to transcend beyond most things(think a bit like HXH with Nen or JJK's cursed energy). Like the phoenix with Camille, if she developed it more then the power to revive or even give life would be broken as hell.

5.) Finally we have Magical, hello Mystic Force. Magic in general is just busted, applications all around depends on what type you're using and there are three main sources, Good, Dark and Neutral. In the show the rangers were given magic from the townspeople due to their beliefs within it as well. This basically cements that as long as you believe in magic then you have an endless source of it...which is just overall crazy and places this high on the list as well.

Now I can't really choose which powers would rank over each other as all of them could overpower the other depending on who uses it but this was nice to analyze. I'd love a full on special with the seasons fighting each other or being able to full amplify their capabilites to see what chaos ensues. Wonder what you guys think?

Boom released a first look at the MMPR Anniversary book; the first page of each story! I'll just share each page and give my general thoughts since there's not much else to go on yet

First is Ernie's story, which is apparently done as tribute to Richard Genelle, which is sweet, even if Ernie isn't the most exciting character to see a story about. It's already basically confirmed that Ernie knew the teens were Power Rangers but it would be nice to get that in writing

Next is........oh. Yeah.

I'll be honest I'm probably not going to give this story a fair shake but I want to wait for the actual story to see if my criticisms are legit. So for now I'll just say a) i think that's the Master Morpher so I'm guessing this is post-DT, but I'm not sure why he has long hair??? b) I like that bounty hunter's design

Next is Alpha-5's story, which obv I'm very excited for as an Alpha stan!!! Obviously they're referencing Alpha-1 here but I kind of hope we get hints as to what happened to Alphas 2 through 4

Next is the Ranger Academy intro story which............yeah I have no idea what to make of the timeline now kjkjdkfj like I guess Billy is....a teacher at Ranger Academy? Or he's just a teacher at this institute and helps out at Ranger Academy? I don't know how that works considering he's supposed to be in Aquitar?????? If he's only a "few years older" than his grad students, then he must be in his late twenties at the most. So Ranger Academy really is set in modern times???????? I guess that would explain Merrick but????!????!?? Is it in the prime comic timeline or a different timeline???????? what is HAPPENING

What are your favorite ships for Power Rangers characters? Especially for characters like Conner and Javi?

That is a very loaded question! I have a lot of ships that I have for my favourite characters (main of which can be considered rarepairs or crackpairs). Before we get to those, let's tackle Conner and Javi first shall we?

So, for Conner. When it comes to shipping for him, I tend to lean towards outside of the Dino Thunder team. (mainly because you can tear CassidyxEthan from my cold, dead, rotten corpse thank you very much). A friend of mine and I joked about the DT rangers meeting the Squadron rangers, and Conner immediately swooing over Xev and Telosi.

Look me in the eyes and tell me Conner wouldn't immediately start simping over Xev, Telosi and their muscles.

He probably also has a thing for Cole. Especially those biceps and Ryan. And Shane. And Hunter. and Dustin. Adam. Rocky. Definitely Jason. Big time. Eric is out though. He shares a name with Conner's bro, and that's a major no. He'd absolutely go ga-ga over Dillion. Damon's, TJ, Mike C, and Leo too. Chad.

I'd say Joel too but... lets be honest, no one can win against Angela Fairweather. No one.

Anyone with muscles, Conner's there. But when it comes to romantic involvement for shipping? Xev, Telosi, Dillion, Cole, possibly Shane. Depending on how it's written, DustinxConnerxHunter... long as Dustin isn't Erik McKnight's teacher, I'm good.

Now, for Javi...

I'm blaming @skyland2703 for my growing fondness for JavixAmelia. It's a very cute couple, and I can't believe I never thought of them as a ship until I started seeing their content. Another friend of mine has also made me a fan of Javi x Ollie too, and with Russell's (Zayto) recent tweet it does make me curious if Javi x Zayto will happen or the potential it could hold.

As for my favourite characters... I have a variety of ships~ I'll go in order of series that way no one gets left out or behind.

MMPRS1-Turbo 1: Katherine x Billy; One of my top OTPs of all time. I really wanted them to have nice things. Tommy x Jason, Tommy x Kim: These two have my heart~ And you can't tell me something wasn't going on between Tommy and Jason through the series. Adam x Rocky, Adam x Rocky x Aisha x Tanya, Adam x Tanya, Rocky x Aisha, Aisha x Shawna, Aisha x Tanya; Do I really need to explain? These four are pretty much rock solid. Splitting them apart if like a huge NO imo. Turbo 2-Wild Force TJ x Cassie; Lets be honest, the Phantom Ranger was never gonna stick around for Cassie. She needs someone dependable in her life and that's TJ. Zhane x Andros: Once again, utterly blaming a friend of mine for this. I've fallen down the rabbit hole and can't seem to get out. Zhane x Astronema/Karone: I can't help it. It's a cute ship! Mike Corbett x Carlos Vallerte: My OTP of Power Rangers. Compressed power rangers timeline au

An AU where every single power ranger team is happening all at once and this one random town in California is literally just a second away from falling into the sea.

I’m including all the zordon area teams in this and basically when someone is on multiple teams they just pick the costume that matches which enemy is attacking that day.

All of the high school age rangers are all attending one high high school (Tommy is a senior TA for extra credit in the DT science class since he’s skipped class so much being on so many ranger teams)

The time force rangers work there, as do the wild force, beats morphers, lost galaxy, RPM, SPD, and light speed rescue rangers. Generally if the ranger is an adult they are working there unless they’re implied to be college age.

SPD are school security officers and they need as many as they do at the school due to constant monster attacks rather than one or two like most schools.

The Dino charge rangers are college students trying to get their teaching degrees and need class room hours to do it so are 5/6 of the Dino fury rangers except Izzy who is obviously still a student.

The RPM rangers are there and still from Corinth but venjix has dimension hopped and split in two so evox is there as well as they try to not let anything slip.

The samurai rangers were all home school and adjusting to public high school.

Also, none of them know about the secret identities of the other teams.

If you could have any specific ranger return, like say how Tommy had recurring roles and became different rangers and even a mentor. Which would character would it be, which seasons and possibly what color or zords would they have?

(This one might be a lot actually cause there's so many options, like I wouldn't mind seeing say someone like Casey being a dragon or dino ranger. Would be crazy :0)

So, a Ranger I’d love to see coming back would be Jen, honestly. She’s the most badass ranger in the franchise I will not take criticism and seeing her Tommy-DT-Style Mentor a Team would be the COOLEST shit EVER.

And I think I’d love to have her back to Mentor Dino Charge, because A) I do not particularly like Keeper, B) it’d make sense with the Energems having time bending powers twist, and C) it would be simply MARVELLOUS to have her losing her shit over the idiots in that team.

Aa for the colors, maybe something along the lines of a Dark shade of red?? New suit//Crimson color?? I’m Not very good with Dinosaurs, so I’m not sure exactly which one she would get, but maybe something like a Deinonychus?? It’s like a velociraptor, and I think it’d fit… Plus plus plus we can add in the redeeming villains arc with Heckyl and tying it in with Ransik’s too, and I think that’d be pretty fun!!

my unpopular opinion on Power Rangers Dino Thunder is that Tommy is only about a 6-7/10 mentor. MAYBE 8/10 if I'm feeling nice. Like it's not... exactly his fault, the point of his character is about how he adapts to his new roles on any given ranger team and he just fucks up. a lot.

Like he's not a bad mentor by any means (although i do have some unpopular opinions about pr mentors), and I love Dino Thunder Black, I really do, dt black is the first form of Tommy's i ever saw (that i remember), but he's like... dt black tommy is the tommy for people that don't really like tommy all that much and went "well if i have to pick one i can tolerate it's the one where he isn't the leader of the team and also isn't green"

After his Ranger duties were done and TJ took over for him, he left for collage where he earned a Doctorate  in Paleontology in only six years after that he went to work for an Anton Mercer which things ended badly so he settled for a position as a high-school teacher. During that time he met three kids by the name of Conner McKnight, Ethan James and finally Kira Ford. He turned this Kids into Rangers to help fight his past little did he know that his past wasn't done with him just yet. 

Principal Randall had  ordered hum to show the new teacher around as he didnt feel like arguing or getting on her bad side he decide that sure he do it, Beside he likes helping people and the New teacher must be freaking out after all Randall doesn't come across friendly. He made his way to the room where the new teacher would be he knocked on the door three times once he was clear to enter the room Tommy did and the face that greeted him was one of his former teammates and a Person he never thought he see again after composing himself he found his voice “Hey Kim what are you doing here wait dont tell me your the new teacher,” He stated the obvious.
